Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to understanding the use of background sentences in Bachelor degree’s thesis from Mathematic Education Department, Tanjungpura University, at the academic year of 2014. The research variables include four characteristics of effective sentences (Structure Correspondence, Cohesiveness of Idea, Word Austerity & Sentence froms Parallelism and Diction). Data sources taken as samples are bachelor degree’s thesis from Mathematic Education Department , Tanjungpura University, as of academic year 2014. The techniques used for the data collection process was documentary study in wich the key instruments and the researcher are the data collection tools. Based on the results and data analysis. The data in this study are ineffective sentences include errors in structural equivalence, cohesion of ideas, word saving, and parallels form and diction or selection of words on the background of thesis students of the 2014 Academic Year Academic Education Study Program. Data collection techniques in this study are through documentation studies . The data collection tool in this study is the author himself as a key instrument. The validity of the data carried out by the author is the adequacy of the reference by reading and visiting data sources as well as various libraries relevant to the problem under study and triangulating investigators conducted by utilizing research or other observers to check the degree of research data.The results of the research and data analysis concluded that the use of sentences in the background of the thesis students of the 2014 Academic Education Study Program 2014 contained 162 sentence writing errors, namely first, structural equivalence errors had 44 errors. Second, there are 21 mistakes for the two ideas. Third, there are 31 word-saving errors. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to obtain an overview of the values of life in the novel Male From The South by Tan Tjin Siong. The study uses descriptive and qualitative methods. The approach used is the sociological approach to literature. Sources of data in this study relate to the value of education and moral values related to individuals, moral values associated with society, and moral values related to divinity that are reflected in words, phrases, and sentences in the novel Male From The South by Tan Tjin Siong. Based on the results of data research on the novel Male From The South by Tan Tjin Siong, it can be concluded that there is a value of education. The form of its educational value is Honest. Moral values related to individuals. His form is strong desire, and humble. Moral values related to the community, the form of moral values are faithful, a sense of family, obedient to parents, and deliberation. Moral values related to God. The form of its moral value is praying, believing soul mates in the hands of God, and surrender to God. Keywords: life values, novels

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pikiran dan perilaku tokoh dari roman Anak Semua Bangsa karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pikiran tokoh utama memiliki watak menghargai, pencemburu, pemarah, pencuriga, mudah tersinggung, mudah berpuas diri, teguh pendirian, setia, dan mudah tersentuh. (2) Pikiran tokoh tambahan memiliki watak perasa, bijaksana, kritis, teguh pendirian, pemarah, penurut, manja, periang, mudah panik, teguh pendirian, sopan, penyayang, menghargai, dan rendah hati. (3) Perilaku tokoh utama memiliki watak perasa, menghargai, dan pemarah. (4) Perilaku tokoh tambahan memiliki watak perasa, bijaksana, kritis, teguh pendirian, pemarah, penurut, manja, periang, mudah panik, sopan, penyayang, menghargai, dan rendah hati. Kata Kunci : Psikologi, Tokoh, Anak Semua Bangsa Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to describe the thought and attitude of characters in Anak Semua Bangsa by Toer. The method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive method. The result of this research shows that (1) the main character’s thought is appreciative, jealous, hot-tempered, skeptical, easily offended, easily content, resolute, faithful, and melancholic, (2) the additional character’s thought is sensitive, wise, critical, resolute, hot-tempered, obedient, spoiled, joyful, easily panic, polite, loving, appreciative, and humble, (3) the main character’s characteristic is sensitive, appreciative, and hot-tempered, and (4) the additional character’s characteristic is the additional character’s thought is sensitive, wise, critical, resolute, hot-tempered, obedient, spoiled, joyful, easily panic, polite, loving, appreciative, and humble. Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan budaya masyarakat Jawa dalam novel Gadis Kretek karya Ratih Kumala meliputi: sistem mata pencaharian masyarakat Jawa, sistem kemasyarakatan masyarakat Jawa, dan sistem religi masyarakat Jawa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskripitif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan antropologi sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu novel Gadis Kretek karya Ratih Kumala. Hasil analisis data yaitu: 1) sistem mata pencaharian antara lain sutradara, produser, pegawai-pegawai pabrik kretek, pelinting klobot, babu, penjual toko obat, penjual di kios-kios pasar, juru tulis, industri rumahan, tempat percetakan, tukang cetak, paraji, penjual tembakau, petani, mantri, rentenir, tukang becak, dan toko penjual tape ketan; 2) sistem kemasyarakatan meliputi sistem kekerabatan, gotong royong, dan organisasi sosial; 3) sistem religi antara lain percaya adanya dedemit, percaya adanya Anjang Kencana, percaya pada ramalan Djojobojo, percaya terhadap istilah keberatan nama, dan percaya pada tradisi selamatan. Kata kunci: antropologi sastra, novel. Abstract: This research aimed to describe the culture of Javanese society in the Gadis Kretek’s novel by Ratih Kumala which include: the livehood system livelihood system, the social system, and the religious system of Javanese society. The method used is descriptive with qualitative form. The approach used is the anthropological approach to literature. The result of data analysis are: 1) the livehood system are director, producer, employes clove plant, klobot rollers, servant, drug seller, sellers in the market stalls, clerks, home industry, printing, printer, paraji, tobacco sellers, farmers, paramedics, money lenders, rickshaw pullers, and sellers of tape ketan; 2) The social system are: kinship system, mutual assistance, and social organization; 3) The religious system are believe to the evil’s existence, believe to Anjang Kencana, believe to Djojobojo’s forecast, believe that the name can be controlling the person fates, and believe to selamatan tradition. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan khususnya materi seni tari. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Model pembelajaran kooperatif, model yang diterapkan adalah tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) menurut Trianto (2007:52). Hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan khususnya seni tari dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata kelompok dan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata siswa. Kelompok 1 mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 18,34, kelompok 2 mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 22,34, kelompok 3 mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 20,83, kelompok 4 mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 24,16, dan kelompok 6 mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 21,52. Tindakan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) berhasil meningkatkan nilai siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak dalam pembelajaran seni tari yakni nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat sebesar 21,38.   Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran STAD dan Seni Tari Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of studens of class VII C Junior High School 8 Country Pontianak in Cultural Art dan Skills Learning materials especially dance. Student learning outcomes in learning and Skills Cultural Arts particular model of learning th art of dance with Student Teams AchievementDivision (STAD) is increasing the average value of the group and the increasing value of the average student. Group I experienced an increase in value by an average of 18.34, Group 2 values increased by an average of 22.34, Group 3 exprerienced an increased in value by an average value of 20.83, Group 4 had increased an average value of 20, group 5 has increased an average value of 24.16, and group 6 has increased an average value of 21.52. Action learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) succesed to increase the value of the seventh grade student of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in learning the art of dance student’ average score increased by 21.38. keywords: Model STAD and Art of Dance

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis serta menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi tari Serampang 12 kelas VII SMPN 11 Pontianak.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian kuantitatif dan pendekatan penelitian adalah  eksperimen semu (Quasi Ekperimen Design), sedangkan prosedur penelitiannya adalah pretest posttest control group design. Penelitan dilaksanakan pada kelas VII B dan C SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak, yang berlamat di jalan Ahmad Marzuki Pontianak Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini: (1) teknik pengukuran, (2) teknik dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian: terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yaitu KK=70,31 KE=78,44. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini secara umum menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction memberikan pengaruh lebih baik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar khususnya pada materi tari Serampang 12 di kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa dalam novel Sandiwara Bumi karya Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif artinya data yang diperoleh dianalisis dan diuraikan menggunakan kata-kata ataupun kalimat bukan dalam bentuk angka-angka atau menggunakan perhitungan. Hasil analisis data menghasilkan kesimpulan, pertama; Gaya bahasa perbandingan yang meliputi majas antonomasia berjumlah 5 buah, hiperbola berjumlah 22 buah, metafora berjumlah 3 buah, personifikasi berjumlah 4 buah, simile berjumlah 14 buah. Kedua, Gaya bahasa pertentangan yang meliputi majas antitesis berjumlah 3 buah, kontradiksio berjumlah 10 buah; dan prolepsis/antisipasi berjumlah 1 buah. Ketiga, Gaya bahasa sindiran yang meliputu majas ironi berjumlah 2 buah; dan inuendo 2 buah. Keempat, Gaya bahasa perulangan yang meliputi majas alonim berjumlah 4 buah, asindeton berjumlah 10 buah, pizeukis berjumlah 27 buah, epanalepsis berjumlah 1 buah, polisindeton berjumlah 7 buah, klimaks berjumlah 10 buah; dan zeugma berjumlah 5 buah. Kata Kunci: Gaya Bahasa, Novel   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the style languague in the novel Sandiwara Bumi Al-Azizy Taufiqurrahman work. The method used is descriptive meaning that the data obtained were analyzed and described using words or phrases not in the form of numbers or use calculations. Results of the data analysis resulted in the conclusion, first; a style that includes the figure of speech antonomasia ratio amounted to 5 pieces, hyperbole totaling 22 pieces, totaling 3 pieces metaphor, personification consists of 4 pieces, simile amounted to 14 pieces. Secondly, the language style that includes the figure of speech antithetical opposition amounted to 3 pieces, kontradiksio totaling 10 pieces, prolepsis/anticipation numbered 1 pieces. Third, the language style of satire which includes irony figure of speech amounted to 2 pieces;  and inuendo amounted to 2 pieces. Fourth, the language style looping covering alonim figure of speech amounted to 4 pieces, asyndeton totaling 10 pieces, epizeukis totaling 27 pieces, numbered 1 pieces epanalepsis, polisindeton amounted to 7 pieces, 10 pieces totaling climax, and zeugma amounted to 5 pieces. Abstrack: Yuliati Napitupulu, Erna. 2013. The Use of Demonstration Method to Increase Students Learning Outcomes In The Dance Art Leaning Students Grade VII SMP Tenera Sungai Dekan Meliau District. Thesis. Department of Language and Arts Education, Arts Education Dance and Music, Tanjungpura University Pontianak. (Main Supervisor Ismunandar, second counselor Agus Wartiningsih) The purpose of this research is to describe the use of demonstration method to increase students’ learning outcomes in the dance art leaning students grade VII SMP Tenera Sungai Dekan Meliau District. The method used in this research is descriptive method, where the the form of research is action research, and research approach used is qualitative approach. The results include the average value of the study of students at the time of the pre-cycle namely 66,34. After the first act during the first cycle, the average increase in the value of learning outcomes of students namely 73,26. The average value of the study of students increased again after the second action during the second cycle  namely 85,19. The conclusion from this research is the use of demonstration method can improve the leaning outcomes of studentsof class VII SMP Tenera Sungai Dekan Meliau District. Keywords : Demonstration Method, Leaning Outcomes dance art.   Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran seni tari di kelas VII SMP Tenera Sungai Dekan Kecamatan Meliau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan/action research, dan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian antara lain nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik pada saat pra siklus yaitu 66,34, setelah dilakukan tindakan pertama pada saat siklus I, peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu 73,26. Kemudian, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kembali meningkat setelah dilakukan tindakan kedua pada saat siklus II yaitu 85,19. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII SMP Tenera Sungai Dekan Kecamatan Meliau. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan teknik NHT terhadap pembelajaran memahami teks diskusi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasy eksperiemen design) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik intaq group, kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Effect Size, model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan teknik NHT terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia materi teks diskusi memberikan kontribusi terhadap persentasi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 68,1%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaraan berbasis masalah dan teknik NHT berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya dengan nilai Effect Size (ES) 1,4853  (tergolong tinggi).   Kata Kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, teknik NHT   Abstract: The purpose of the research is to find out how is the influence of the problem based learning model, and NHT technique  to the students ability in understanding discussion teks. The method of the research is  quasy experimental design using the plan of non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used are intaq group, which class VII G as experimental class and VIII D as control class. Based on the effect size counting, problem-based learning model and NHT  technique has significant contribution in increasing students' learning result in discussion text  material which were reaching 68,1 % . This result shows that the problem-based learning model and Numbered Heads Together technique ( NHT)   has good influence toward the students' learning result in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya with effect size     ( ES ) 1,4853 (qualified as high score ). Abstract

The research is motivated by the desire of researchers to understand more about the novel Particle, not only about the story but about the messages to be conveyed to the reader the author. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research forms. The approach used in this study is a dynamic structural approach. Data collection in this study was done as carefully classify and describe, as precisely and deeply as possible elements of literature of the subject of study that emphasizes the values ??that exist in the novel particle. Sources of data in this study is novel Particle DEE work study while data is sentences, phrases and words that contain the value of education, religious values??, social values??, and the value of the individual. The technique used in this study is a documentary study technique. Based on the data analysis it can be concluded that the values ??in the novel Particle DEE work consists of the value of education, religious values??, social values??, individual values??. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan strukturalisme dinamis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasikan dan mendeskripsikan unsur karya sastra yang menjadi pokok telaah yang menekankan pada nilai-nilai yang ada dalam novel Partikel. Sumber data adalah novel Partikel karya DEE sedangkan data penelitian adalah kalimat, frasa, dan kata yang mengandung nilai pendidikan, religius, sosial, dan nilai individu. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik studi dokumenter. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai-nilai dalam novel Partikel karya DEE terdiri dari nilai pendidikan, religius, sosial, individu. Kata Kunci: Nilai-Nilai, Novel, dan Partikel
