Abstract

Rewards are given to encourage someone to act more actively to increase or improve their performance. Rewards are the most important management tool to achieve the desired goals of a business. The International Labor Organization Statistics (ILOSTAT) releases data on labor productivity in Indonesia with growth rates, namely in 2014 (3.31%), 2015 (4.10%), 2016 (3.71%), 2017 (1, 97%), in 2018 (3.05%), and in 2019 (93.68%). From this data, progress in labor productivity in Indonesia tends to be low in percentage and fluctuates every year. In Takoma itself, the performance of workers is hampered by weather and seasonal factors. Therefore, workers are not productive at work. The success of a business is closely related to the quality of the human resources it has, because human resources have an important role as actors, movers and determinants of organizational work results based on the company's operational activities, both in quality and quantity. In this case, social disparities often occur within the organization which results in a lack of effectiveness in the performance of workers. Basically, companies expect capable human resources, but the most important thing is the desire to work hard and achieve optimal work results. On the island of Sumatra, one of the honeys that can be found is honey in Takoma, which is located in Pamatang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. The Pamatang Sidamanik area is the best place to produce tea, coffee and honey. Takoma is an abbreviation of Taro, Coffee, Honey which is made in Sait Buttu Saribu Village. The aim of this research is to determine the role of rewards in increasing the productivity of honey workers in Sait Buttu Saribu Village. This research uses a quantitative methodology with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were honey workers in Sait Buttu Saribu Village, totaling 16 respondents. From the total population obtained, the sample that the researcher took was the total of that population, because the researcher used a total sampling technique. Primary data collected directly by researchers through questionnaires from previous research. The results of the bivariate statistical test using Chi Square show that the average p-value is 0.000 (<0.05), meaning that there is a significant relationship between the reward variable and the worker productivity variable. It is hoped that business owners will pay attention and provide more rewards to increase worker productivity.

Abstract

In the community whose distance is the closest to the Primary Health Care (PHC), there is still less participation in the National Health Insurance (JKN), and not many people, if they go to the PHC, were lazy to bring their JKN card to the PHC. It is known that the description of the not yet maximal use of the JKN card at the Puskesmas is related to the interest of JKN users themselves. This study, therefore, aims to determine the factors that influence the community in utilizing the JKN card at the Pagurawan PHC, which was held from December to January 2021 with 90 samples taken using an accidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, research analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the variable that influenced the use of the JKN card was knowledge (p=0.020), distance traveled (p=0.030), household expenditure (p=0.007). However, some variables had no significance namely education (p=0.487), job (p=0.487), attitude variable of health workers (p=0.089), and complaints of illness (p=0.035). The results of the analysis show recommending that health workers conduct more education or outreach to people who have a JKN card to make more use of the JKN card to the PHC.ABSTRAKDiketahui bahwa keikutsertaan dalam program Jaminan Kesehatan nasional (JKN) pada masyarakat yang jarak tempuhnya paling terdekat dengan Fasilitas kesehatan terbukti masih belum optimal, ditambah kenyataan bahwa tidak banyak pula masyarakat membawa  kartu JKN jika berobat ke Puskesmas.

Abstract

The escalating population of Indonesia is a pressing demographic challenge, contributing to a surge in the birth rate. Long-Term Contraceptive Methods (LTCM) offer a viable strategy for postponing and spacing pregnancies, thereby mitigating the adverse effects of population growth. However, LTCM utilization among women in the Glugur Health Center, Medan, remains notably low at 26.9%, indicating a significant gap in contraceptive access and adoption. To elucidate the factors influencing LTCM utilization, this study employed a cross-sectional research design. Data collection involved in-depth interviews with women residing within the Glugur Health Center's catchment area. The gathered data were subjected to rigorous analysis using univariate and bivariate statistical techniques. The findings revealed a strong correlation between Age (p=0,013; OR= 0,353), education (p=0.002; OR=3.594), the number of children (p=0.021; OR=2.545), knowledge (p=0.000; OR=4.278), attitudes (p=0.000; OR=10,818), source of information (p=0.017; OR=2,600), spouse's support (p=0.009; OR=3,135) and support of the health workers (p=0.028; OR=2.527) with LTCM utilization. The study's results underscore the critical role of comprehensive education and support in promoting LTCM adoption. Health officials and the Glugur Health Center should prioritize implementing targeted interventions to enhance women's knowledge and address any misconceptions regarding LTCM. Furthermore, fostering supportive environments, both within families and healthcare settings, is essential for encouraging consistent LTCM use. By addressing these key determinants, policymakers can significantly increase LTCM uptake and contribute to sustainable population growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

School-aged children need to consume a lot of fluids because of their high activity levels. The habit of not consuming enough water in children can have a very negative impact on their health and development. Mild dehydration will cause fatigue, headaches and constipation. The habit of not consuming water can be a problem, especially if children tend to prioritize consuming or drinking drinks made from soda and caffeine because it can increase health risk factors from consuming these substances. To overcome this, good anticipation is needed regarding fluid deficiency in children. Prevent dehydration in school-age children by providing education on adequate body fluids for elementary school students at SD Negeri 101827 Tuntungan so they can change unhealthy drinking habits. Methods for implementing activities include health education, lectures, and carrying out pre-test and post-test activities. The post-test results of 10 questions aimed at grade 5 students showed an increase in the percentage of correct answers almost entirely compared to the results of the pre-test. Recommendations for follow-up after this activity are that the school can collaborate with the student's parents regarding accompanying students to ensure sufficient water consumption while at home.

Abstract

The JKN mobile application aims to reduce queues at BPJS Kesehatan Branch Offices by providing the best service to the community. This research aims to improve JKN Mobile information system services in order to provide better services to the community. The study was conducted using a crossectional approach and quantitative descriptive method at the Batang Kuis Health Center in February 2024, with a population and sample using JKN Mobile of 70 patients with a total sample technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with 10 questions using a Likert scale of 1-4. Currently, as many as 48% of the total population of Deli Serdang have become JKN participants. However, there are still many people who have not used JKN Mobile, except for patients who need referrals to hospitals. A survey shows that most of the 70 respondents who use JKN Mobile need a further understanding of the usefulness of the application. Based on the findings that the JKN Mobile application does not help consult doctors because this is rarely used by the public which causes them not to understand its use. In addition, education is also needed, especially for female respondents who still do not understand the use of the JKN Mobile application. One of the problems that is often complained by the community is the difficulty in the login process which causes forgetting usernames, passwords, and errors.
