Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current account on the balance of payments in East Java province. The method used is data analysis and literature study. The results of the analysis show that the current account on the balance of payments in East Java province has increased (surplus) from 2018 to 2019, but from 2019 to 2020 the current account data has decreased (deficit). This is because there are many factors, including the economic decline due to the Covid-19 outbreak which has hampered the pace of economic growth in East Java province and there are other factors such as the lack of public awareness of paying taxes, this has also caused the rate of economic growth.

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences is one of the educational institutions that contributes to efforts to increase social mobility. This research aims to understand the role of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences in increasing the social mobility of its students. Social mobility, which refers to the movement of individuals or groups between social dimensions, has become important in the modern educational context. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that madrasas function as a bridge that connects religious values ​​with general knowledge, as well as providing support through quality teaching staff, adequate facilities, and parental involvement. Factors such as close supervision and extracurricular activities also contribute to increasing students' social mobility. The main way that the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences has to increase the social mobility of its students is through maximizing efforts to fulfill existing supporting factors. Thus, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences has a significant role in facilitating changes in the social and economic status of students, preparing them to contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Islamic education greatly influences the morals and character of teenagers, especially through the spread of religious values ​​that are applied in everyday life. The focus of this research is to see the role of Islamic education as an agent of socialization in forming moral values ​​among teenagers and how teenagers view the role of Islamic education in forming their moral values ​​at Budi Luhur Mandiri Sangatta Utara Middle School. The aim of the research is to see the role of Islamic education as an agent of socialization in forming moral values ​​among teenagers, and to find out teenagers' views on the role of Islamic education in shaping their moral values ​​at Budi Luhur Mandiri Sangatta Utara Middle School. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive type. To collect data, researchers used interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that spiritual and religious programs such as "29 Noble Characters" and "6 Luhur Thobiats", which instill moral values ​​among students at SMP Budi Luhur Mandiri Sangatta Utara, have worked well in socializing moral values ​​among students. teenager. Researchers found that Islamic education at Budi Luhur Mandiri Middle School has played an important role in shaping student morality, both through school culture and habits and the application of Islamic values ​​in everyday life. Meanwhile, teenagers' perceptions regarding how Islamic education shapes their moral values ​​are very positive. They also say that Islamic education builds students' morals at home, in the community, and at school. Islamic education can help change the character of teenagers if implemented correctly. Therefore, it is important for educators to continue to develop interesting and relevant teaching approaches so that teenagers are interested and involved in the learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic education in driving social change at SMA Plus Budi Luhur Mandiri. The research aims to identify the contributions of Islamic education to character development, social awareness, and student participation in social change within the school and community. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The findings reveal that Islamic education shapes students' discipline, responsibility, and politeness; enhances social awareness through empathy teaching; and fosters student involvement in social activities such as community service. Islamic education is proven to be not only a means of knowledge transfer but also an effective tool for creating positive social change.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic values in the educational curriculum plays an important role in shaping students' character and behavior. This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic values in the curriculum at Al-Munawwir Sangatta Selatan Junior High School, the challenges faced, and its impact on student character. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of Islamic values is carried out through habits such as worship, honesty, and responsibility. The challenges faced include limited facilities, infrastructure, and inefficient teaching methods. The positive impact can be seen from the improvement of students' character, such as discipline, honesty, and good social relationships. This integration is not only important to form individuals of noble character, but also as a foundation for a moral and responsible society. Synergy between schools, families, and technology is the key to overcoming these challenges.

Abstract

Socioeconomic background can affect students' ability to access education, both in terms of transportation and the provision of learning supplies. This study aims to identify the impact of family socioeconomic background on access to education at SDN 006 Sangatta Utara. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, which involves interviews with homeroom teachers and direct observation at school. Data collected through interviews with teachers. The results of the study show that the socio-economic condition of the family does not provide a significant obstacle to students' access to education at SDN 006 Sangatta Utara. Most students have adequate transportation facilities, so no student has to walk to get to school. In addition, the majority of students' parents have better-than-average economic conditions, which allows them to meet their children's school supplies needs without any constraints. This is more due to children's behavioral factors than the family's economic limitations

Abstract

The power structure in Islamic education at MI Hajar Abyadl plays an important role in influencing teachers' involvement in educational decision-making. The focus of this research is to understand the power structure in MI Hajar Abyadl and identify power practices that are considered unfair or discriminatory. The research method used is a qualitative approach with semi-structured interview techniques. The research findings reveal that the power structure in MI Hajar Abyadl is organized in a clear hierarchy, with the school principal at the center of decision-making and teachers playing a role in implementing these policies. However, there are several discrepancies in the policy implementation that may impact educational fairness. One example is the exercise of power deemed unfair or discriminatory, such as differences in access to facilities and learning opportunities between students from wealthy and less privileged families. This can lead to inequality, hindering students' potential development. On the other hand, while there are indications of discriminatory practices, the existing policies are insufficient to address these imbalances comprehensively. As a solution, it is necessary to evaluate the current structure and policies to create a more equitable education system for all students.

Abstract

Abstract, The practice of implementing education should refer to educational theory and be based on a clear philosophical foundation. In order for educational praxis to be guided by theory, an understanding of educational theory and its philosophical roots becomes important and strategic. Pragmatism believes that the truth or not of a theory depends on whether or not the theory is useful for humans in their livelihoods. This philosophy states that the truth or not of a theory depends on whether or not the theory is useful for humans in their livelihoods. Whether or not a result of thought, proposition or theory is judged according to its usefulness in life or according to the usefulness or not of that theory in human life. Pragmatism is a philosophical reaction to this phenomenon. William James defines pragmatism as "the attitude of turning away from everything, principles, categories, initial necessity, to then move on to everything, results, consequences, and new facts." Pragmatism gives a critical character to old philosophical systems, which, according to pragmatists, have made the mistake of looking for something ultimate, absolute, and eternal essences. Historically, education in a broad sense has been implemented since humans were on this earth. This is in line with human progress in thoughts and ideas about education. According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary, education is defined as the process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to mature humans through teaching and training efforts. History cannot be separated from a series of events that have been limited by space and time in which these events were formed and occurred. Many people say that history is something static that cannot possibly be “recycled” based on the context of the era.

Abstract

ABSTRAK, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pergeseran struktur ekonomi Indonesia. Data yang digunakan adalah data PDB dan tenaga kerja berdasarkan sektor selama periode Tahun 2020 - 2022. Untuk menganalisis pergeseran struktur ekonomi menggunakan analisis shift-share. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa semua sektor PDB menunjukkan nilai share yang positif. Lapangan usaha yang paling banyak memberikan kontribusi terhadap PDB berasal dari Penyediaan Akomodasi dan Makan Minum dengan nilai sebesar 14,41%, kemudian diikuti oleh sektor Jasa Perusahaan 14,09%, lalu sektor Jasa Lainnya 12,93%. Adapun sektor yang pertumbuhannya relatif lambat berasal dari Sektor Jasa Keuangan dan Asuransi -1,42%. Meningkatnya kontribusi sektor industri dan jasa baik terhadap pertumbuhan PDB maupun terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadinya pergeseran dalam struktur perekonomian Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between capital management and labor to increase income, analyze the effectiveness of capital management on income, and analyze the effectiveness of labor management on income in the Tape Ketan and Tape Cassava home industries in Simpang Empat Batulicin District, South Kalimantan. This study uses quantitative data types. Both secondary and primary data were used in this study, with a questionnaire serving as the primary data collection tool. Fifty individuals were randomly selected from the Ketan Tape and Cassava Tape home industry in the Simpang Empat Batulicin District of South Kalimantan. In this study, we used multiple linear regression analysis to look at the data and the F-test, t-test, and R2 statistic to test our hypothesis. Y=2.964+0.424X1+0.544X2+e is the answer to the multiple linear regression analysis. While the F test and t test to calculate the independent variables capital (X1) and labor (X2) have a partial effect on the income variable (Y) of the tape and tapioca home industry in Simpang Empat Batulicin sub-district, South Kalimantan. This study comes to the conclusion that all capital independent variables (X1) and labor (X2) affect the income variable (Y) in the Ketan Tape and Cassava Tape Home Industry in Simpang Empat Batulicin District, South Kalimantan Province, in a way that is both partial and simultaneous.
