Abstract

Surabaya city is one of the coastal cities in Indonesia and has potential in the fisheries sector. Apart from having a strategic role and having a large area of ​​land, the City of Surabaya can also increase its role as a shrimp pond farmer to increase natural resources for shrimp pond farmers in Surabaya. With good and optimal management can increase production and income levels so as to improve the welfare of the surrounding community. Especially for tiger shrimp pond farmers, it is hoped that they can provide employment and be able to become food ingredients providers. This study aims to prove and analyze the effect of education level, length of business and land area on the income of tiger shrimp pond farmers in Medokan Ayu Village, Rungkut District, Surabaya City. In this study using a causal quantitative approach. This study uses 1 dependent variable (income) and 3 independent variables (education level, length of business and land area). The type of research data used in this research is quantitative data. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression, F test (simultaneous), T test (partial), and the coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that the level of education (X1), length of business (X2) and land area (X3) simultaneously or together have a significant effect on the income of tiger shrimp pond farmers in Medokan Ayu Village, Rungkut District, Surabaya City. The level of education (X1) partially has a significant effect on the income of tiger shrimp pond farmers in Medokan Ayu Village, Rungkut District, Surabaya City. The length of business (X2) partially has no significant effect on the income of tiger shrimp pond farmers in Medokan Ayu Village, Rungkut District, Surabaya City. Land area (X3) partially has a significant effect on the income of tiger shrimp pond farmers in Medokan Ayu Village, Rungkut District, Surabaya City.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of industry 5.0 and its impact on the Indonesian economy. Industry 5.0 is a concept that integrates artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and other technologies to create more efficient and connected production systems. This study aims to analyze how the implementation of Industry 5.0 has affected Indonesia's economic sector and the challenges faced in adopting this technology. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to understand the global developments of Industry 5.0 and then applied in the Indonesian context. This research also highlights aspects such as digital infrastructure, workforce skills, and government policies that support or hinder the development of Industry 5.0 in Indonesia. It is hoped that this research can provide valuable insights for policy makers and stakeholders in understanding the contribution of Industry 5.0 to the Indonesian economy and formulating appropriate strategies to encourage sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Dental and oral health is the healthy condition of the hard and soft tissues of the teeth and related elements in the oral cavity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) and dental and oral hygiene among students at Rumah Quran Bustanul Mustafa Lhokseumawe. This research uses a descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 62 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used include a questionnaire to measure the level of PHBS knowledge, which has been tested for validity and reliability, as well as a dental and oral hygiene observation sheet using the OHI-S (Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified) index. Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman correlation test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of PHBS knowledge and oral hygiene with a value of p = 0.000 (0.05). The correlation value of -0.654 shows a strong and negative relationship, where the higher the student's level of knowledge, the better their level of dental and oral hygiene. The distribution of knowledge levels shows that 48.38% (30 students) have good knowledge, 32.26% (20 students) have sufficient knowledge, and 19.36% (12 students) have poor knowledge. Meanwhile, students' oral hygiene showed that 29.04% (18 students) had good hygiene, 38.70% (24 students) had sufficient hygiene, and 32.26% (20 students) had poor hygiene. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the level of PHBS knowledge and dental and oral hygiene among students at Rumah Quran Bustanul Mustafa Lhokseumawe. These results emphasize the importance of PHBS education to improve children's dental and oral health.

Abstract

This research is about the role of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Insan Cendekia in supporting the social mobility of students through a qualitative case study approach. This research is based on the strategic role of madrasas as Islamic educational institutions that have the potential to become agents of social change in Indonesian society. This study discusses the role of madrasas in increasing social mobility, as well as what strategies are implemented by madrasas to support the improvement of students' social mobility and the views of students, teachers, and parents regarding the contribution of madrasas to social mobility in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a data collection method through observation, interviews with students, teachers, and parents. The results of the study show that MTs Insan Cendekia plays a role in increasing social mobility through the formation of moral character based on Islamic values, increasing academic competence, developing soft skills and social skills through extracurricular activities, as well as exposure to the professional world through internship programs and cooperation with various institutions. In addition, the madrasah strengthens student leadership and entrepreneurship and works with external parties to provide additional training. Positive views from students, teachers, and parents show that MTs Insan Cendekia is effective in supporting social mobility and student development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the leadership style of school principals in dealing with the modern world from the perspective of the sociology of education, the benefits of this research are beneficial as a reference for principal school leadership to prepare agents of educational change in the face of today's modern world. Modern times all definitely need challenges in the world of education, education must be able to adapt and carry out transformations to keep up with the times, the research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, researchers explore data through interviews, with school principals and teachers as well as community members who live in the environment. State Elementary School 007 Sangatta Utara, East Kutai Regency, and from the documentation, the researcher then analyzed the data following the miles style, then by reducing the data after the interview so that less relevant information could be filtered out to near perfection after data reduction then drew conclusions. The findings from the researchers show that there is still a lack of principals in following technological developments, plus the facilities are still inadequate, ideally in schools having 25 computers or laptops and schools do not yet have a computer lab to support school programs so that the program does not run optimally. The principal is very important and must master technology to make it easier for education personnel to control.

Abstract

Village-level public service processes frequently encounter obstacles like drawn-out manual processes, restricted information availability, and rigid service schedules. In order to increase the effectiveness of village administrative services, specifically in the creation of the Certificate of Inability (SKTM), this project intends to develop a web-based information system. The waterfall technique, which comprises phases for requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, is used to construct the system. The PHP CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database are among the technologies utilized. According to test results, this technology can improve transparency and service efficacy, speed up document processing, and make it easier for residents to access services online. It is anticipated that this method will be a creative way to facilitate the digitization of village government.

Abstract

The aims of this research are the urgency of implementing the Discovery Learning Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education Subjects at North Sangatta 1 Vocational School, what is the Process of Implementing the Discovery Learning Learning Model in Increasing Student Activities in Islamic Religious Education Subjects at North Sangatta 1 State Vocational School, and how to have a positive impact on students by implementing the Discovery Learning Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education Subjects. This research uses qualitative methods. Type of field research, where to obtain accurate data the researcher comes directly to the research location, namely SMK Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara, using a qualitative research approach. In this research, researchers used data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation with descriptive techniques. In analyzing this data, the author uses data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The findings of this research are (1) the discovery learning model is very good at helping students easily understand the subject matter. (2) In the process of implementing the learning model using the discovery learning learning model using lesson plans as a reference, of course there are three parts, the first is the introductory part consisting of (orientation, apperception, motivation, and providing references), the second is the core part where the application of the discovery learning model is included in This section consists of (stimulation, problem statement, questions/problem identification, data collection, data management, proof and drawing conclusions). (3) The positive impact on students from the application of the discovery learning model in Islamic Religious Education subjects is: Can improve students' ability to solve problems, Encourages active involvement of students, and this Learning Model prepares students for independent learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by so much competition in a market orientation that is increasingly emerging, but competition sometimes pays little attention to product innovation in the eyes of consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine market orientation that occurs in the world of marketing, Entrepreneurial Orientation, Market Power as an independent variable, Marketing Performance as the dependent variable and Product Innovation as a mediating/intervening variable. The method used is the literacy method. The result of the research is that the basic industrialization strategy is an industrial strategy that focuses on the production of products and services for export, not for domestic sales and circulation. Consists of basic chemical industry and basic metal and machine industry. While the orientation industrialization strategy is the company's strategic direction in creating the right behavior so as to achieve superior performance. Market orientation as a process and activity related to creating and satisfying customers by continuously assessing customer needs and wants. Application of market orientation will bring increased performance for the company. Companies implementing market orientation have advantages in terms of customer knowledge and these advantages can be used as a source to create products that suit the wants and needs of customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current account on the balance of payments in East Java province. The method used is data analysis and literature study. The results of the analysis show that the current account on the balance of payments in East Java province has increased (surplus) from 2018 to 2019, but from 2019 to 2020 the current account data has decreased (deficit). This is because there are many factors, including the economic decline due to the Covid-19 outbreak which has hampered the pace of economic growth in East Java province and there are other factors such as the lack of public awareness of paying taxes, this has also caused the rate of economic growth.

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences is one of the educational institutions that contributes to efforts to increase social mobility. This research aims to understand the role of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences in increasing the social mobility of its students. Social mobility, which refers to the movement of individuals or groups between social dimensions, has become important in the modern educational context. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that madrasas function as a bridge that connects religious values ​​with general knowledge, as well as providing support through quality teaching staff, adequate facilities, and parental involvement. Factors such as close supervision and extracurricular activities also contribute to increasing students' social mobility. The main way that the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences has to increase the social mobility of its students is through maximizing efforts to fulfill existing supporting factors. Thus, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School for Quran Sciences has a significant role in facilitating changes in the social and economic status of students, preparing them to contribute positively to society.
