Abstract

This research aims to analyze coffee shop digital marketing strategy through social media to increase product sales. The approach in this investigate may be a quantitative approach. The population in the study was 30 Coffee Shops in Medan City. Samples were taken randomly from as many as 30 Coffee Shops in Medan City. Theory testing in this inquire about path analysis. Theory testing in this inquire about path analysis. The research results show that digital marketing strategy has a significant effect on social media in Coffee Shops in Medan City. Digital marketing strategy has a significant effect on increase product sales in Coffee Shops in Medan City. Social media has a significant effect on increase product sales in Coffee Shops in Medan City. Digital marketing strategy has a significant effect on increase product sales through social media in Coffee Shops in Medan City.

Abstract

Esophageal achalasia is a disorder of esophagus movement which characterized by lack or absence of esophageal peristalsis and the inability to relax either partially or totally in the lower esophageal sphincter. Esophageal achalasia is a rare case of the disease, the case occurrence rate is 1:100.000 population with a prevalence of 10 per 100.000. The main symptom marker of esophageal achalasia is dysphagia. Accompanied by other symptoms such as regurgitation, cough after eating, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, burning sensation, substernal pain in the early stages and epigastric pain in the advanced stage. A 65-year-old woman patient presented with difficulties in swallowing for approximately 2 months. The results of blood laboratory tests obtained leukocytosis, thrombocytosis and decreased of platelet distribution width (PDW). On electrolyte examination found hyponatremia, hypokalemia and decreased blood chloride. The results of the barium esophagogram examination found narrowing in the distal part of esophagus that resembles the rat’s tail appearance. The patient was diagnosed with esophageal achalasia and referred to another hospital for definitive surgical therapy.

Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat sehari-hari sekarang sudah tidak dapat terlepas dari penggunaan smartphone. Penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan diketahui dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mental. Salah satu kesehatan mental yang dapat dipengaruhi penggunaan smartphone berlebihan dan sedang marak dibicarakan pada zaman modern ini adalah depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara screentime smartphone terhadap kejadian depresi. Desain penelitian ini bersifat potong lintang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online melalui Google Form (G-form). Data yang dikumpulkan berupa identitas, screentime dari screenshot smartphone responden, dan tingkat depresi yang diukur menggunakan Zung Depression Scale (ZDS). Terdapat sebanyak 135 responden dalam rentang usia 15-22 tahun. Mayoritas responden menggunakan smartphone selama ≥6 jam/hari (83,7%). Hasil kuesioner ZDS menunjukkan bahwa responden sebagian besar tidak mengalami depresi (71,11%). Uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara screentime terhadap tingkat depresi.

Abstract

Dalam menerapkan pendekatan desain komunikasi visual pada suatu produk atau karya diperlukan pengenalan unsur-unsur desain didalamnya. Sehingga menjadikan desain komunikasi visual sebagai bentuk media alternatif dalam penyampaian informasi, sehingga melahirkan makna pada pelanggan dan menghadirkan pemahaman informasi pada khalayak. Dengan beberapa landasan ini maka kami melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan konsep pelatihan desain komunikasi visual sebagai bentuk komunikasi pada pelanggan di yayasan rumah binar bangsa. Adapun subjek pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah para siswa di Yayasan Rumah Binar Bangsa, Jl. Sumatra 1A RT03 /RW010, Jombang, Ciputat, Kota Tangerang Selatan 15414, Banten. Target yang ingin dicapai oleh program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah agar peserta didik dapat memiliki meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memproduksi pesan informasi kepada khalayak dengan menerapkan pendekatan desain komunikasi visual sehingga dapat dipahami oleh para individu yang melihatnya.

Abstract

Label produk merupakan bagian penting bagi pelaku UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) karena membantu memperkuat identitas dan membedakan produk mereka dari produk pesaing. Label produk juga membantu pelanggan memahami spesifikasi dan kualitas produk yang mereka beli. Ini bisa mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pelanggan dan meningkatkan citra produk UMKM. Kegiatan penyuluhan pembuatan label produk UMKM Desa Majau Kecamatan Saketi dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran para pelaku UMKM tentang pentingnya membuat label produk bagi keberlangsungan dan peningkatan usaha mereka. Berdasarkan kegiatan penyuluhan, pemerolehan hasil data statistik pre dan post test menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam tingkat pengetahuan dan kesadaran para pelaku UMKM tentang pentingnya membuat label produk. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi ini berhasil dalam membantu para pelaku UMKM untuk meningkatkan usahanya dan memperkuat informasi produk mereka. kegiatan tersebut berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan minat para pelaku UMKM Desa Majau dalam hal pembuatan label produk. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil data statistik yang menunjukkan bahwa jumlah responden yang mengetahui pentingnya label produk bagi UMKM meningkat setelah mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk terus meneruskan kegiatan sosialisasi ini agar para pelaku UMKM dapat terus berkembang dan memperluas pasar produk mereka

Abstract

This is the time for us to see the positive side caused by pandemic. Even though not everybody agrees to this, the pandemic going on not only in Indonesia but also in all over the world has given us a chance for ‘adaptation’ over changes in business. Nowadays, business concept is not only affected by markets, companies, competitors but also by changes. Every individual, even a big company must acknowledge this. In order to maintain the side of people’s ‘economy’, various studies reviewing alternatives for good marketing strategies have been carried out. These studies are especially aimed at Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This is because SMEs have been the part of creative economy. Based on these circumstances, the researcher was encouraged to study which strategy of digital branding dominantly carried out by the SME players. This research applied factor analysis to find out the basic attribute grounding SME players to survive their businesses, which were initiated either before or after pandemic. The method used was non-probability sampling. Here the questionnaires were distributed in order to find answers from five determined spots. There were 169 respondents as samples in this research. In the pre-test, before questionnaires distributed, there were at least 9 attributes used as references for the main players of SMEs in applying digital branding. Results of factor analysis test showed that there were at least two main factors developed. In these two factors, it is agreed that strategy of Search Engine Optimization was the most ideal to apply in order to survive their business. This is because it has big dominant value, which was 0.823 (82% for first group) and 0.790 (79% for the second group).

Abstract

Talking about talent management, it is related to the roles and responsibilities of leaders. Based on this, it is deemed necessary to have a briefing activity that is refresher related to talent management issues, for example, the adequacy aspects related to talent management such as vision, mission and goals as well as the company's strategy to build a talent management system, the main objective of this activity is to provide briefing related to several issues that must be known in advance regarding the goals to be built from talent management itself in the company, this activity is carried out online through a webinar which is attended by the system development team at PT. Indako on February 25, 2022. The results of this briefing activity obtained an understanding that the more specific the company's vision, mission, goals and strategies are, the clearer the goals to be achieved with this talent management system, so that its contribution to organizational growth will be much more leverage and of course This will ultimately increase the productivity of the employees and increase the job satisfaction of each individual.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap strategi pemasaran khususnya pada pelaku usaha pemula. Penguatan kemampuan dalam mendesain konten branding menjadi kebutuhan utama untuk meningkatkan daya saing, terutama melalui pemanfaatan media sosial. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pelaku usaha pemula dalam merancang konten branding yang menarik dan profesional dengan menggunakan platform Canva. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi kebutuhan, penyampaian materi melalui sesi pelatihan, pendampingan praktik langsung, serta evaluasi terhadap hasil desain peserta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di lingkungan pelaku usaha pemula yang tergabung dalam komunitas UMKM lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar branding, menerapkan prinsip desain grafis, serta menghasilkan konten promosi yang lebih kreatif dan relevan dengan identitas usaha masing-masing. Evaluasi akhir memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola desain konten digital untuk mendukung promosi usaha. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kapasitas pelaku usaha dalam memanfaatkan media digital sebagai sarana pemasaran yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

One of the private institutions in Bandung, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, operates under the tridharma of higher education and the ICE (integrity, care, excellence) values approach. The application of these values is demonstrated in the execution of community service activities by several teaching staff from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design as material formulators as well as skills trainers/teachers in the form of creativity training through the application of basic thermoplastic designs to Trimulia Junior High School students in Bandung. Through the use of thermoplastics, this activity is meant to help kids develop their artistic creativity. About 100 persons participated in the activity, divided into 4 classes of 25 pupils each with the help of a lecturer and/or a student. This activity can achieve its goal of fostering a knowledge of creativity through creative design thinking by allowing participants to transform the materials in their immediate environment to create things with practical and aesthetic value.
