Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the satisfaction of graduate users with the pedagogic competence of the alumni of the Indonesian Language Education study program, Indraprasta University, PGRI. This research is a quantitative survey research with a correlation approach. Respondents in this study were stake holders (graduate users) who were alumni of Indonesian language education study programs in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Data obtained by giving questionnaires to graduate users about alumni job satisfaction and pedagogical competence. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of graduate user satisfaction on the pedagogic competence of graduates. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.000 <0.05 and t count = 4.561. The magnitude of the correlation number is 0.484 with a determination of 0.234. This means that the magnitude of the relationship between X and Y variables is 0.484 in the medium category. The magnitude of the influence of X on Y is 23.4% where the variable user satisfaction of the graduates affects the pedagogical competence variable of graduates by 23.4% while the rest is influenced by other variables. Abstract

Purpose: This study examined the impact of audit tenure, managerial ownership, and company size on the integrity of financial statements. Methodology: The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 29 companies and 77 data points from transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020-2022. Secondary data from the annual reports were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results: Company size affects the integrity of financial statements, whereas audit tenure and managerial ownership do not. Limitations: The study is limited by measuring audit tenure as the number of years a Public Accounting Firm has engaged with a client, going back up to six years. Additionally, only one measurement tool–accounting conservatism–was used. Contribution: The findings are expected to enhance the understanding of financial statement integrity for both internal users, such as management, and external users, such as creditors and investors, aiding in making informed decisions. Furthermore, this study contributes to the literature by expanding the determinants of financial statement integrity in transportation and logistics companies. Novelty: This study addresses gaps in previous research, employs STATA software, focuses on the transportation and logistics sector, and covers the most recent period.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pentingnya model pembelajaran mental tangguh pada masa transisi pandemi corona berbasis media sosial di Indonesia. Dalam rangka mengembangkan kesehatan mental dan membentuk mental yang tangguh, yang diperlukan dimasa krisis khusunya yang telah dialami yaitu pandemi corona, maka dilakukan model pembelajaran mental tangguh pada masa pandemi corona berbasis media sosial di Indonesia. Manfaat model pembelajaran mental tangguh pada masa pandemi corona ini dengan pelaksanaan psikoedukasi dengan memberdayakan individu, keluarga, maupun komunitas. Guna menemukan, menjaga, dan mengoptimalkan kondisi sehat mentalnya dalam menghadapi kehidupan sehari-hari walaupun dimasa krisis penyesuaian transisi pandemi corona.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tahapan alur dalam novel Kami (Bukan) Fakir Asmara karya JS. Khairen dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA, karena siswa SMAsangat menyukai karya sastra khusunya novel. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik pembacaan menyeluruh terhadap novel Kami (Bukan) Fakir Asmara Karya J.S. Kairen. Teknik pembacaan berulang-ulang digunakan untuk mencatat hal yang penting dalam menganalisis novel. Setelah penelitian selesai, diperoleh hasil yang berupa 5 tahapan alur dalam novel, yaitu tahap perkenalan sebanyak 13 temuan atau setara dengan 20%, tahap perumitan sebanyak 10 temuan atau setara dengan 16%, tahap konflik sebanyak 22 temuan atau setara dengan 34%, tahap klimaks sebanyak 11 temuan atau setara dengan 17%, dan tahap penyelesaian sebanyak 8 temuan atau setara dengan 13%. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat diperoleh jumlah temuan yang paling dominan ada pada tahap konflik pada alur dalam Kami (Bukan) FakirAsmara karya J.S Khairen.Kata Kunci: Tahapan Alur, Novel, Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMAAbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out the plot stages in the novel Kami (Bukan) Fakir Asmara by JS. Khairen and its implications for learning Indonesian in high school, because high school students really like literary works, especially novels. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted using a thorough reading technique of the novel Kami (Bukan) Fakir Asmara by J.S. Kairen. The repeated reading technique is used to record important things in analyzing the novel. After the research was completed, the results were obtained in the form of 5 plot stages in the novel, namely the introduction stage of 13 findings or the equivalent of 20%, the complexity stage of 10 findings or the equivalent of 16%, the conflict stage of 22 findings or the equivalent of 34%, the climax stage 11 findings or the equivalent of 17%, and the completion stage of 8 findings or the equivalent of 13%. From these results, it can be obtained that the most dominant number of findings is in the conflict stage in the plot in Kami (Bukan) FakirAsmara by J.S Khairen.Keyword: plot stages, novels, Indonesian language learning in high school

Abstract

This study used a quantitative survey approach to analyze the career satisfaction of vocational schoolteachers in the City of Tasikmalaya who members of the Guidance and Counseling Teacher Deliberations (MGBK) are. A total of 40 respondents, with 31 women (77.5%) and 9 men (22.5%). The research instrument used the Career Satisfaction Scale (CSS) with adequate internal reliability. The results of the study show that women have the same opportunities in careers as vocational teachers, even though in the teaching profession women are more dominant. Factors such as gender stereotypes and disparities in access to mentors and professional networks can influence women's career satisfaction. In terms of age, respondents ranged in age from 22 to 50 years, with variations in frequency for each age group. Previous research has shown that stereotypes about reduced performance and career satisfaction in older workers are not entirely accurate. Older workers can have equal or even higher levels of career satisfaction than younger workers. In terms of education, most of the respondents (62.5%) had a bachelor's degree, while the rest (37.5%) had a master's degree. Previous studies have shown that the compatibility of education with work is positively related to career satisfaction. Most respondents (65%) experienced moderate levels of career satisfaction, followed by a small number who experienced high (17.5%) and low (17.5%) levels of career satisfaction. Factors such as a sense of accomplishment, success on the job, good relationships with colleagues and superiors, recognition received, and alignment with interests and values can influence career satisfaction. Interviews with counseling teachers showed that high school quality has a positive impact on career satisfaction. A conducive work environment, principal support, adequate resources, and a positive learning climate create a satisfying work experience for counseling teachers. Overall, this study provides insight into the career satisfaction of vocational schoolteachers in Tasikmalaya City and the factors that influence it. This study can be the basis for the development of policies and programs aimed at increasing the career satisfaction of vocational teachers

Abstract

The use of information technology, especially computer-based applications, is able to facilitate the learning process. In the application of computer-based learning, it is not only seen from the ability of teachers to use and utilize computers in learning, but teachers are also required to be more innovative and follow developments in information technology in the learning process. Among them, the use of applications or software that supports the learning process. One of the mathematical software that can be used in the learning process is GeoGebra software. In this pendemi period the use of GeoGebra software really helped teachers in compiling material and explaining material to students. Through this Community Service activity, the cominity team helps partners by providing training in using GeoGebra software. This training aims to make SMK teachers more skilled in utilizing media in learning. This community activity was carried out in a demonstration, where the community team first provided material about GeoGebra software, and continued by providing training using GeoGebra software to the training participants. By doing so, it is hoped that these teachers will be able to utilize GeoGebra software in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memeroleh data mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa yang digunakan oleh Adhitya Mulya dalam novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif untuk menganalisis kata-kata yang terdapat dalam novel. Selain itu, digunakan pendekatan stilistika dalam menyusun langkah kerja. Novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak, terdiri dari unsur gaya bahasa penegasan, gaya bahasa perbandingan, gaya bahasa pertentangan, gaya bahasa sindiran, gaya bahasa perulangan. Gaya bahasa yang dominan dalam novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak adalah perbandingan. Majas yang paling banyak ditemui adalah hiperbola. Gaya bahasa yang paling jarang digunakan adalah gaya bahasa sindiran.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu mitra menambah wawasan dalam hal perkembangan literasi, khususnya literasi siswa yang berkesulitan belajar. Masalah perkembangan literasi dipilih karena hal tersebut menjadi salah satu perhatian utama dunia pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini. Kemudian topik tersebut difokuskan pada perkembangan literasi pada siswa yang berkesulitan belajar. Dalam proses pelaksanaannya, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan kolaborasi antara tim dosen Unindra PGRI dengan tim guru SDN Pancoran 05 Pagi Jakarta Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah melalui diskusi interaktif dan praktik. Hasil pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan para guru tentang perkembangan literasi, khususnya literasi siswa yang berkesulitan belajar untuk kemudian dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu mitra menambah wawasan terkait pemanfaatan cerita rakyat sebagai media pembelajaran karakter dan kearifan lokal. Cerita rakyat sangat kaya akan muatan nilai-nilai karakter dan kearifan lokal. Cerita rakyat adalah kekayaan budaya Indonesia yang saat ini hampir tersisih kehadirannya oleh ketidakpahaman generasi muda akan nilai-nilai positif yang dikandungnya. Oleh karena itu, cerita rakyat sangat bisa dimanfaatkan oleh guru sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan karakter kepada siswa, sekaligus memperkenalkan kearifan lokal.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini yaitu melalui ceramah, tanya jawab, tutorial, dan praktik. Dengan penggunaan metode tersebut pelatihan dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan berdampak pada meningkatnya pemahaman serta wawasan para guru tentang pemanfaatan cerita rakyat dalam proses pembelajaran karakter dan kearifan lokal.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an effective learning design for understanding the concept of exponentiation by applying the Discovery Learning model using the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) as the framework foundation. The research method used is a design research method consisting of three main stages: preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. The initial stage involves literature analysis and the design of an HLT tailored to the concept of exponentiation. The instructional design is based on the prepared HLT and tested through two experimental stages: pilot experiment and teaching experiment. Retrospective analysis is conducted to compare the initial HLT with the Actual Learning Trajectory (ALT) achieved during the learning process. Data is collected through observation to monitor learning activities and environmental conditions, as well as through recordings of learning activities to gain an understanding of student participation in the design experiments. Additionally, Student Worksheets (SW) are used as aids for students to understand the concept of exponentiation, and evaluation questions are used to measure students' learning outcomes in the subject matter. Interviews are also conducted to gain a deeper understanding from the student's perspective. The results of this research make a significant contribution to the development of more effective mathematics learning methods, particularly in understanding the concept of exponentiation, and provide guidance for teachers to design learning that is more relevant to students' daily lives. The implications of the research results provide guidelines for teachers in designing learning that is more relevant to students' daily lives.
