Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of work incentives and work motivation on employee performance at the Yasfit Store. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 Yasfit Shop employees. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the proposed hypothesis. The research results show that work incentives have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.002, while work motivation also shows a significant positive effect with a significance value of 0.004. These findings indicate that increasing incentives and motivation can improve employee performance significantly. Therefore, Yasfit Store management is advised to design more attractive incentive programs and create a supportive work environment to increase employee motivation. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of human resource management strategies in the retail sector. Keywords : Incentives,Work Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: This research is not only related to WISN to measure the level of workload but how the results of this WISN methodology can be used as an evaluation of the achievement of hospital service quality, especially in this study are hospitals in developing countries. Purpose: This study aims to find out how the application of the WISN method in developing country hospitals in achieving hospital service quality. Novelty:This research only focuses on the results of existing research in developing countries so it cannot be generalized. Research Methods:This study uses the SLR method to collect articles related to the implementation of WISN in developing countries published between 2019 and 2024. Results: The application of the WISN method in hospitals in developing countries is very effective in determining the shortage of labor that results in an increased workload, so that performance is not optimal. Management is needed that can organize or allocate labor according to workload analysis. In addition, to optimize the workforce, it is necessary to carry out training to improve the competence of the workforce, because the quality of the workforce affects the achievement of the quality of hospital services. Research Contributions: With this study, it can be used by hospitals as a consideration in evaluating their health workforce in terms of number and competence.

Abstract

This study applies a bibliometric approach to evaluate publication trends related to "Workplace Diversity and Its Implications for Organizational Practices" in Scopus-indexed scientific journals from 2020 to 2024. The increasing urgency to address workplace diversity stems from globalization, evolving workforce demographics, and the growing demand for equitable and inclusive organizational practices. Diversity management is critical for enhancing innovation, improving employee well-being, and addressing social equity challenges in both developed and developing nations. Utilizing the VOSviewer software, this study analyzes publication patterns, author affiliations, and keyword distributions associated with workplace diversity topics. From the 60 articles reviewed, findings indicate that interest in workplace diversity fluctuated, with the highest number of publications recorded in 2024. The results also reveal that the United States is the largest contributor to publications on this topic, followed by India and the United Kingdom. Network visualization analysis highlights key terms such as "Diversity," "Workplace Diversity," and "Inclusion," underscoring diversity’s pivotal role in enhancing inclusion and driving organizational performance. This study provides insights into publication trends and identifies potential areas for future research in workplace diversity and its implications for organizational practices.

Abstract

In the changing working world, the perception of Person-Job Fit (fit between an individual and a job) plays a crucial role in improving employee performance and satisfaction. This fit involves an individual's abilities, competency/knowledge, interests as well as values with the demands, responsibilities, and work environment, which is the main focus of various studies related to person-job fit. This study aims to mapping out and provide a bibliometric overview of the topic of person-job fit, to identifying research trends by uncovering popular topics, identifying the relationship between concepts such as job satisfaction, organization commitment, and job performance, demonstrating commonly used approaches of methodology such as equation structural modelling, mapping the network authors, institutions, and countries that can build collaboration, and helping researchers quickly and systematically find relevant literature and lastly the result support the strategic development of Human Resource theory and practices. The research data was taken from articles published in the Scopus database between 2019 and 2024, and 63 articles were found using the VOSviewer application. The results showed that the most articles on person-job fit were published in 2022 (15 articles), with the journal “International Journal of Human Resource Management” as the most frequently published. The most affiliations came from the National Institute of Development Administration with 2 documents, while China was the country with the most publications. The topic is mainly covered in the area of business, management, and accounting. Keywords often associated with person-job fit include:Person-Organization Fit, Job Satisfaction, Turnover Intention, Person-Environment Fit, Job Performance, Organizational Commitment, Work Environment, Work Engagement, Job Involvement, and Structural Equation Modelling.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of price and quantity on sales mediated by promotions at PT The Univenus during the 2019–2023 period. This study uses a quantitative approach as the research method, this study examines the relationship between independent variables (price and quantity) and dependent variables (sales) with promotion as a mediating variable whose data is processed by the SEM-PLS method. The results show that price and quantity have a significant influence on sales, and promotions reinforce this relationship. Competitive pricing increases sales volume, especially when products are promoted, as well as adequate quantities encourage larger purchases in a multi-unit promotional strategy. Effective promotions not only increase short-term sales but also help build brand loyalty. This study fills a gap in the literature on the interaction of price elasticity, promotion, and consumer response in the manufacturing industry. To increase sales and market position. From the results of this study, PT The Univenus is recommended to implement effective promotional strategies, such as multi-unit discounts and competitive prices.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital secara signifikan telah mempengaruhi proses rekrutmen tenaga kerja di era digital, di mana proses tradisional bertransformasi menjadi lebih efisien melalui penggunaan teknologi. Namun, masih terbatasnya penelitian yang membahas secara mendalam tentang bagaimana digitalisasi mempengaruhi rekrutmen menciptakan gap pengetahuan di bidang ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis bibliometrik terhadap 72 artikel bertema “Recruitment in Digitalization Era” yang dipublikasikan di database Scopus antara tahun 2019-2024. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer untuk memetakan tren, pola publikasi, serta kata kunci yang dominan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puncak publikasi terjadi pada tahun 2020 dengan 15 dokumen, dan mayoritas dokumen berbentuk artikel ilmiah. Amerika Serikat menjadi negara dengan kontribusi terbesar, diikuti oleh Inggris. Artikel dengan jumlah sitasi tertinggi berasal dari penelitian terkait platform kesehatan digital dan pengelolaan rekrutmen. Analisis bibliometrik menunjukkan bahwa kata kunci yang paling sering digunakan adalah "recruitment", "digital transformation", dan "social media". Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa meskipun topik rekrutmen di era digital semakin banyak dibahas, peluang penelitian lebih lanjut masih terbuka, khususnya pada pengembangan alat rekrutmen berbasis digital yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses rekrutmen di berbagai sektor. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya inovasi dalam alat rekrutmen digital agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri dan dapat bersaing dalam lingkungan kerja yang semakin terdigitalisasi. Abstract

AbstractThis article reviews the phenomenon of self-initiated expatriates which is an important subject in global mobility studies. This article uses a systematic literature review which aims to summarize several studies regarding Self-Initiated Expatriates. This article uses the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer Software. Data sources were obtained from ScienceDirect and Emerald Insight for the 2019-2024 period. The results obtained were 2,974 articles, then data reduction was carried out using exclusive and inclusive criteria to obtain 31 journals that were reviewed. Results for variables related to self-initiated expatriates, Cross-cultural Adjustment, Cultural Intelligence, Social Support, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Job Demand Resources, Effort reward imbalance, Political skills etc. With a deeper understanding of the dynamics of self-initiated expatriates, this article provides valuable insights for managers, human resource practitioners, and academics in managing and supporting voluntary international mobility and leveraging the valuable contributions that self-initiated expatriates bring to the context of ever-changing global environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the right strategy for marketing the educational tourism village in Kampung inggris Pare. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative methods with case studies. Data sources were obtained from observation, interviews with 5 informants from Kampung Inggris Pare, and documentation in the form of photos and voice recordings. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and triangulation techniques. This research resulted in 3 conclusions, including: (1) Strengths for Kampung Inggris Pare: (1) The strengths of Kampung Inggris Pare consist of the low cost of living, comfortable learning atmosphere equipped with facilities from the institution, and health insurance for all elements of Kampung Inggris Pare. Then some weaknesses of Kampung Inggris Pare include the tight learning hours, less maintained environment at some points, and less efficient access to Kampung Inggris Pare. (2) The most potential opportunities for Kampung Inggris Pare include the number of fresh graduates, the recommendation of Kampung Inggris Pare alumni, and the potential arrival of students as a result of extensive promotion. As well as threats that can have an impact on Kampung Inggris Pare consist as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the existence of restrictions by the government, and the lack of holiday time for prospective students of Kampung Inggris Pare. (3) The strategic position based on the SWOT Diagram is in quadrant 1, which means that Kampung Inggris Pare can use an aggressive strategy with the results of the SWOT Matrix in the SO (Strengths-Opportunity) position. These strategies include utilizing alumni in promotional media by displaying the advantages of Kampung Inggris Pare, adding vaccination activities and health facilities, as well as promotions in the form of discounts and free products for fresh graduates who come to Kampung Inggris Pare

Abstract

This article presents a literature study that examines the use of ethnomethodology as an approach in qualitative research, specifically within the context of human resource management (HRM). Employing the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study explores, identifies, investigates, evaluates, and interprets existing research to uncover how ethnomethodology addresses challenges in HRM. The findings reveal that ethnomethodology offers a valuable lens for understanding complex issues within HRM by analyzing the everyday interactions and practices of individuals in the workplace. This approach enables researchers to uncover underlying problems in HRM and provides insights that can inform strategies for problem-solving. By highlighting the actions and knowledge of actors within organizations, ethnomethodology contributes to a deeper understanding of HRM dynamics, facilitating evidence-based solutions to improve management practices

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menggambarkan bagaimana alur penggunaan Sistem Integrasi PT Angkasa Raya Steel (SISTAR) dan pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di Human Resource Department (HRD). Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis, dengan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap informan utama, yakni staf HRD dan staf IT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan SISTAR memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan sumber daya manusia pada departemen HRD. Secara keseluruhan, SISTAR memberikan dampak positif yang besar, terutama dalam pengelolaan data kehadiran karyawan. Sistem ini membuat proses absensi menjadi lebih praktis, cepat, dan efisien, yang pada akhirnya mendukung pencapaian tujuan perusahaan.
