Abstract

This study is aimed to test the hypothesis that the soil quality of sugarcane plantations closely linked to the particulate organic matter (POM) and earthworm’s populations. The research was conducted at five sites in Malang, East Java. The sites were selected based on differences in average annual rainfall and two types of soil management : with and without organic input. Abstract

The aim of this research was to compare the effect of substitution of Ammonium Sulphate  (AS) fertilizer on sugarcane growth, nutrient content, and soil chemical properties.  This research was conducted on up-land of sugarcane plantation in Tegalweru village, Dau district, Malang regency. This study tested ten treatments consisting of three treatments using AS fertilizer, six treatments using AS substitute fertilizers that used combination of Urea, Gypsum, and bio-compost and one control (no fertilizer). This research used randomized complete block design with three replications. The results showed that the plant growth between the treatment used AS fertilizer and AS substitute was not significantly different. However, the treatment used 400 kg Urea per ha+938 kg Gypsum per ha tended to have the best plant growth and the highest N uptake. For the treatments using AS substitute fertilizer, the higher the application rate was, the higher the soil N and S contents were.  The treatments used AS fertilizer due to lower soil pH than AS substitute fertilizer. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the use of alternative fertilizers as a substitute of the AS fertilizer is recommended to reduce an adverse impact on soil fertility.

Abstract

The productivity of the national soybean crop is still relatively low, namely 1.44-1.56 tons ha-1, so it has not been able to meet the needs of the community which reaches 3 million tons. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase soybean productivity with a more efficient cultivation system. This study aims to determine the response to growth and yield of soybeans of Derap 1 variety resulting from the interaction of urea and Rhizobium inoculum. This study used a randomized block design. The first factor: the dose of urea fertilizer (20.30 kg ha-1) The second factor is the dose of biological fertilizer inoculum Rhizobium (0, 2, 4, 6 g kg-1) seeds. The results showed that there was a significant interaction effect between the treatment dose of urea fertilizer and the dose of biological fertilizer Rhizobium inoculum. U3H3 treatment (Urea 30 kg ha-1+  Rhizobium inoculum 6 g kg-1 seeds) gave the highest growth as measured by plant height (39.00 cm), number of leaves (14.40 stalks), number of branches (4.00 cm). ), the amount of interest (86.77). This treatment also gave the highest yield as measured by the number of harvested pods (54.60), dry weight of pods (48.80 g), dry weight of seeds per plant (29.24 g), dry weight of seeds per ha (2.52 tons). ha-1)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction of the composition of planting media and vermicompost dosage on the growth and yield of lettuce plants. This study is a pot experiment conducted by green house located on Jl. MT. Haryono, Dinoyo Subdistrict, Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Malang with a altitude of ± 550 meters above sea level, the average air temperature ranges from 20 °C - 28 °C, which starts in February to June 2019. The study uses experimental Randomized Block Design (RBD) arranged in factorial and consists of 2 factors. The first factor was the composition of the planting medium consisting of 2 levels, namely M1: Cocopit (55%), Biochar (15%), Sand (30%) and M2: Cocopit (55%), Biochar (30%), Sand (15%) The second factor is the vermicompost dose which consists of five types, namely V1: 50 gram / pot, V2: 100 gram / pot, V3: 150 gram / pot, V4: 200 gram / pot, and V5: 250 gram / pot. Based on the two factors, 10 treatments were obtained and each treatment was repeated 3 times with 5 plant samples per treatment, until a sample of 150 lettuce plants was obtained. The results showed that the composition of the planting medium gave growth and yield of different lettuce plants, where the composition of M1 planting media (cocopeat 55%, 15% biochar and 30% sand) gave the highest growth and yield of plants at the dosage application of 200-250 g / pot while the composition of M2 planting media (55% cocopeat, 30% biochar and 15% sand), gave the highest growth and yield at 150-250 g / pot vermicompost doses. This is caused by the influence of the composition of the planting medium and vermicompost dosage on the total fresh weight of plants, fresh weight of roots and fresh weight economically valuable curly lettuce M2V4 treatment (55% cocopeat growing media, 30% biochar and 15% sand, with vermicompost 200 gram / pot), M2V1 (planting media, 55% cocopeat, 15% biochar and 30% sand, with 50 gram vermicompost / pot dose) and M2V4 (planting media, 55% cocopeat, 30% biochar and 15% sand, with dosage 200 gram vermicompost / pot) with values of 66.06, 6.24 and 61.62 grams giving the highest results. Keywords: planting media composition, vermicompost dosage

Abstract

Demand for potatoes from time to time is increasing. Therefore it is necessary to increase the productivity of potatoes through appropriate cultivation techniques especially in new potato varieties. This study aims to determine the effect of NPK (16:16:16) fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of two potato varieties in the highlands.The design used was factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) using 2 factors. The first factor was the aplication of NPK fertilizer with 3 levels, namely P0 = without fertilizer, P1 = 400 kg fertilizer NPK ha-1  and P2 = 800 kg NPK fertilizer ha-1. The second factor is the type of variety with 2 levels, V1 = Granola L and V2 = Granolla Arjuno. Of these two factors, there were six treatment, Each treatment was repeated 3 times. There are two observed variables which are growth variables (plant height, number of stems, number of leaves and stem diameter) and yield variables (number of tubers,  weight of , tuber per plot and per hectare). The data collected was analyzed based on F Test at the level of 5% and LSD test 5%. The results showed that the best plant growth was Granolla Arjuno variety with a dose of NPK fertilizer 400 kg ha-1 (P1V2). While the treatment that gives the highest results is Granolla Arjuno variety with a dose of N-P-K fertilizer 400 kg ha-1 (P1V2)

Abstract

The need for sorghum from time to time is increasing for various purposes, including for feed, food and industrial materials. On the other hand, sorghum production is still low. The development of sorghum cultivation is directed at land with low fertility levels such as Ultisol soil. Therefore, it is necessary to apply environmentally friendly cultivation technology. The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of application of various Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) compositions and their concentrations on the growth and yield of sorghum. This research was conducted at the Agricultural Technology Research and Development Installation (IP2TP) Samboja, East Kalimantan starting in December 2020 until March 2021. This study used a Split Plot Design where the main plot was a type of LOF composition consisting of 5 levels and sub-plots is the concentration of LOF consisting of 3 levels with the frequency of spraying LOF 3 times in one planting period (10 days interval). The results of this study showed that the combination of various LOF compositions and their concentrations did not have a significant interaction effect on the growth and yield of sorghum plants. The best composition of  was the mixture of goat urine, amino acids and bioactivators, with plant height growth at 53 DAP of 182.81 cm, fresh weight of leaves and stems of 19558.07 grams/plot equivalent to 48.90 tons/ha and dry weight of seeds 3278.53 grams/plot. equivalent to 8.20 tons/ha dry weight of seeds.

Abstract

Plastic waste is one of the waste that takes a long time to decompose. The use of plastic bags is still widely encountered, especially when shopping at traditional markets or stalls. The use of plastic bags creates a lot of waste. For this reason, the community is directed to process plastic waste by providing counseling and training on using plastic bag waste to become useful and valuable items for sale. Plastic bag waste can be recycled to make useful items. Recycling is the process of turning used materials into new materials with the aim of preventing waste that can actually be useful, reducing the use of new raw materials, reducing energy use, reducing pollution, and land damage. The training is carried out by making leaf flowers and variations that can be done in other forms. Products produced from recycling plastic waste can be sold and can increase people's income.

Abstract

The self-assessment system in which the taxpayer performs the calculation, payment, and tax reporting by the taxpayer itself risks tax avoidance practices. To minimize this risk, the Directorate General of Taxation carries out law enforcement in the framework of supervision through tax audit activities. This study aims to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of the inspection on tax avoidance practices by using a moderated political connection because it is suspected that companies with a political link tend to be more aggressive in terms of tax planning. This study uses panel data of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2018. The study results conclude that tax audits effectiveness has a significant effect on tax avoidance practices, which means that the more influential the tax audit activities are, the lower the tax avoidance level.

Abstract

The increase in electronic trading transactions, both through market places and trade transactions with goods and services originating from abroad, poses its own challenges in tax collection. Trading through the Electronic System (PMSE) on intangible taxable goods and taxable services originating from outside the customs area and utilized within the customs area has been regulated by the government. However, the administration of VAT collection carried out is still conventional by providing collection obligations to overseas entrepreneurs who have exceeded significant trade limits in Indonesia. With the use of Virtual Private Network (VPN) facilities, it is as if the consumer of goods or services in Indonesia is someone who resides or consumes his goods in another country. By means of a simulation, this research shows that with this VPN the potential for digital VAT receipts from Indonesia will be lost and/or the VAT receipts will appear as if they were receipts from other countries' digital taxes.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 as a curriculum that emphasizes the three domains of learning strongly supports the ability to solve problems. One of the capabilities that must be prepared in this century is the ability of high-level thinking is an important ability as part of the process of problem solving. This study aims to determine the ability of high-level thinking at Level I decision-making stage before entering the stage of problem solving, that is how the correlation of the application of Inquiri-Humanistic POE model (variable x) to the thinking ability of high level I in the decision making stage (variable II). This study uses the application of inquiry-humanistic POE model as a solution in solving the problems faced by physics education students. The subjects of the study used one group of subjects without any comparison, namely the second semester students of physics education courses in the Physics Basic lab course. This research is a pre experimental study of pretest-posttest one-group design supported by qualitative-descriptive approach. The research data is conducted using observation and test of high-order thinking ability (pretest end posttest). The results showed that the application of inquire-humanistic POE model correlated 0.307% to the ability of high level thinking level I in the decision making stage. It is expected that the next level can be measured significantly with the implementation of inquiry-humanistic POE model
