Abstract

ThThe community service program through the Student Community Service (KKN) in Luwuk Bunter Village, Cempaga District, East Kotawaringin Regency, focused on enhancing religious values among children. The main issue faced by the community was the lack of religious activities for children, such as Qur’an recitation and congregational prayers, due to limited teaching resources. The KKN team applied a participatory approach by involving children, community leaders, and mosque administrators in various religious activities. The methods included regular congregational worship, Qur’an literacy guidance, and mentoring in daily manners and ethics. The results of the program showed an increase in children’s participation in religious activities that were previously inactive, as well as the revitalization of the mosque’s role as a center for religious education. This program had a positive impact by fostering religious habits, motivating children to learn, and raising community awareness of the importance of instilling religious values from an early age.

Abstract

Vaccines are very susceptible to damage, so vaccine management requires special handling, this is done to maintain vaccine quality. The aim of this research is to find out the description and evaluate suitability vaccine management at the Karanganyar Regency Health Service (DKK) in 2022 based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 12 of 2017. This research is a qualitative descriptive non-experimental research. These research methods cross sectional by using approach, observation or data collection. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling by reviewing and evaluating vaccine management, which includes planning, procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution at the Karanganyar Health Service. The method used for data collection uses checklist suitability and in-depth interviews with the Head of Installation and pharmacy officers. Vaccine planning is adjusted to the usage index and needs in the previous year using a combined method system top to bottom and bottom up. Vaccine procurement is centralized at the Provincial Health Service, where requests are made by method bottom up. Receiving the vaccine is not immediate drop from the center/province, but the Karanganyar DKK takes the needed vaccines to the Provincial Health Service using the provisions for good drug distribution methods. Vaccine storage and distribution at DKK Karanganyar is in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation number 12 of 2017 and also in accordance with vaccine management guidelines from the Ministry of Health in 2021. Vaccines at DKK Karanganyar are in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation number 12 of 2017 and also in accordance with vaccine management guidelines from the Ministry of Health in 2021, both in planning, procurement, receipt, storage and distribution.

Abstract

Latar bekalang : Kentang merupakan tanaman sayuran yang berumur pendek yang mempunyai senyawa kimia yang terkandung didalamnya yakni aktivitas antioksidan seperti vitamin C dan flavonoid. aktivitas antioksidan mengandung flavonoid yang dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa pada darah yang mampu menghambat penyakit terjadinya diabetes.Tujuan : Ekstrak kulit dan daging kentang memiliki potensi terhadap antioksidan sebagai kandidat antidiabetesMetode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental untuk menganalisa kandungan flavanoid pada ekstrak kulit kentang dan ekstrak daging kentang secara kualitaif dan kuantitatif. Identifikasi kandungan flavonoid secara kualitatif menggunakan  kromatografi lapis tipis dan kuantitatif menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis dengan pembanding sebagai kuersetinHasil : Hasil penelitian Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) pada ekstrak kulit dan daging kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder yaitu flavonoid dengan nilai Rf yang sama pembanding kuersetin yaitu Rf 0,68. Hasil pengujian Spektrofotometer UV-Vis diperoleh hasil total kadar flavonoid yang terkandung dalam ekstrak kulit kentang sebesar 91,33 µg qe/ml dan ekstrak daging kentang sebesar 41,33 µg qe/ml.Kesimpulan : Berdasarkan hasil pengujian KLT dan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis,  ekstrak kulit kentang memiliki kandungan flavonoid yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ekstrak daging kentang yang dapat digunakan sebagai kandidat antioksidan sebagai pengobatan antidiabetes Kata kunci: : Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L)1, Kromatogafi Lapis Tipis 2, Spektrofotometri UV-Vis3

Abstract

Higher education plays an important role in preparing students to become competent and competitive individuals. Furthermore, participating in academic competitions is a strategic means to foster innovative, collaborative, and competitive skills. This study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) software, a statistical technique suitable for analyzing complex relationships between variables. The analysis process involved two stages: measurement model and structural model. The analysis showed that the T-statistic for peer influence was 2.549, exceeding the threshold of 1.96, with a p-value of 0.011, below the 0.05 threshold for statistical significance. Similarly, the T-statistic for family influence was 3.803, also exceeding 1.96, with a p-value of 0.000, indicating a highly significant relationship. These findings highlight the important role of external factors, especially peer and family influence, in motivating students to participate in national and international competitions. Therefore, educational institutions need to implement targeted strategies to increase students’ motivation and encourage active involvement in these competitions.

Abstract

Abstrak Pelayanan rawat jalan merupakan bagian penting dari sistem rumah sakit yang berperan sebagai citra awal dan indikator mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Salah satu parameter utama dalam menilai mutu pelayanan farmasi adalah waktu tunggu pelayanan resep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian waktu tunggu pelayanan resep obat racikan dan nonracikan di Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit X terhadap Standar Pelayanan Minimal (SPM) yang ditetapkan Kementerian Kesehatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional melalui observasi langsung dan pencatatan waktu tunggu pada tanggal 19–27 Agustus 2025. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh resep pasien BPJS rawat jalan, dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling sebanyak 100 resep, terdiri dari 8 resep racikan (8%) dan 92 resep nonracikan (92%). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata waktu tunggu pelayanan resep di Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan RS X untuk resep racikan dari 8 sampel resep adalah 21,42 menit, sedangkan untuk resep non-racikan dari 92 sampel resep diperoleh rata-rata waktu tunggu sebesar 23,14 menit, keduanya masih sesuai dengan ketentuan SPM (≤60 menit untuk racikan dan ≤30 menit untuk nonracikan). Faktor yang memengaruhi lama waktu tunggu meliputi jumlah item obat, kompleksitas resep, jumlah tenaga farmasi, serta sistem antrian pelayanan. Kesimpulannya, waktu tunggu pelayanan resep di Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan RS X telah memenuhi standar yang berlaku dan mencerminkan kinerja pelayanan farmasi yang efisien dan terkontrol.

Abstract

The dependence on fossil fuels in Indonesia continues to increase in line with the growing energy consumption, thus necessitating alternative energy sources that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable. Oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) are agro-industrial waste with great potential to be utilized as raw material for briquette production; however, their utilization remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze the effect of molding temperature and compaction pressure on the density and stability of binderless OPEFB briquettes. The research method employed is experimental, using a quantitative descriptive-analytical approach with non-carbonized briquettes. The treatment variations include molding temperatures (230°C, 250°C, and 280°C) and compaction pressures (1 MPa, 3 MPa, and 5 MPa) applied to two types of materials, namely dried and undried OPEFB. The results indicate that increasing temperature and compaction pressure significantly enhances briquette density. At a temperature range of 250–280°C and a pressure of 5 MPa, the briquettes achieved the highest density (>1.0 g/cm³) with strong shape stability. The thermoplastic lignin content in OPEFB melts at high temperatures, acting as a natural binder. Briquettes with a density ≥0.80 g/cm³ exhibited strong physical integrity, while those with a density <0.70 g/cm³ tended to be brittle. It can be concluded that the optimum conditions for producing high-quality binderless OPEFB briquettes are achieved at a temperature range of 250–280°C and a compaction pressure of 5 MPa, resulting in briquettes with excellent density and shape stability suitable as a renewable alternative energy source

Abstract

Axial flux type BLDC motors primary issue is the high operating temperature of the stator and winding components, which can lower system efficiency and hasten the deterioration of the quality of the insulation material. This study is to examine the effects of geometric alterations to the cooling system, such as axial fins on the housing side and curved fins on the casing, on the temperature distribution of a 5-kW axial flux permanent magnet BLDC motor. Convection and conduction heat transport in the cooling system were modeled using ANSYS Fluent software and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation techniques. The Log Mean Temperature Difference (LMTD) and the cooling design's relative efficacy in comparison to the baseline state are the primary metrics that are examined. According to the simulation results, the maximum winding temperature may be lowered to 311 K and the cooling distribution in the rotor, casing, and housing can be improved by adopting curved fin casing and axial fin housing. As the temperature differential between the coolant and the motor surface narrows, the LMTD value drops from the initial condition (5.10 K to 13.94 K), suggesting a more effective heat transfer process. Furthermore, the cooling system's efficiency has more than doubled since its original design. Overall, the study's findings demonstrate that enhancing the cooler's geometric design can increase the BLDC motor's thermal performance and prolong component life.

Abstract

The energy demand in Indonesia continues to increase, particularly in the transportation sector, which remains highly dependent on fossil fuels such as gasoline. This dependency causes several issues, including the depletion of fossil fuel reserves and the rise of greenhouse gas emissions that negatively impact the environment. One potential solution to address these challenges is the development of bioethanol as a renewable and environmentally friendly alternative fuel. Bioethanol can be produced from starchy materials, one of which is white cassava (Manihot esculenta), known for its high productivity and wide availability in Indonesia. The production process of bioethanol consists of several stages, including liquefaction, fermentation, and distillation, where fermentation temperature plays a crucial role in determining the ethanol yield. Previous studies have shown that variations in fermentation temperature significantly influence the efficiency of bioethanol production. This study aims to characterize bioethanol produced from cassava fermentation at various temperature variations and to evaluate its potential as a fuel for gasoline engines. The results are expected to contribute to the improvement of bioethanol production efficiency and to promote cassava utilization as a renewable energy source in supporting national energy sustainability.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan efek signifikan dalam sektor kesehatan, salah satunya dengan penggunaan smartphone untuk memonitor aktivitas fisik pemakainya. Namun, banyak aplikasi kesehatan yang tersedia hanya menampilkan informasi aktivitas tanpa memberikan saran mengenai diet yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sistem rekomendasi pola makan sehat yang berbasis data dari smartphone dan machine learning dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). Sistem ini dirancang untuk memanfaatkan data aktivitas pengguna yang diambil dari Google Fit, seperti jumlah langkah, tekanan darah, kadar gula darah, dan estimasi kalori, yang selanjutnya dikelola menggunakan algoritma KNN untuk mengidentifikasi kategori kebutuhan energi harian pemakai. Hasil dari klasifikasi ini digunakan untuk memberikan rekomendasi makanan yang relevan berdasarkan kondisi fisik pengguna. Proses pengembangan sistem dilakukan melalui metode Agile dengan kerangka kerja Scrum, yang mencakup langkah-langkah Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, dan Sprint Review. Implementasi yang berhasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menampilkan data aktivitas fisik pengguna secara langsung dan memberikan rekomendasi makanan yang sesuai dengan tingkat aktivitas mereka. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengguna dalam mengadopsi pola makan sehat yang disesuaikan serta meningkatkan kesadaran gizi di kalangan masyarakat.

Abstract

Indonesia menghadapi peningkatan populasi lansia (≥60 tahun) yang rentan terhadap masalah terkait penggunaan obat (Drug Related Problems/DRPs) akibat penyakit komorbid dan polifarmasi. Selain itu, masyarakat sering keliru dalam mendapatkan, menggunakan, menyimpan, dan membuang obat dengan benar. Kekeliruan ini berisiko mengurangi efektivitas terapi dan menimbulkan masalah kesehatan lain. Program DAGUSIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, dan Buang) Obat yang Benar, inisiatif Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia , bertujuan meningkatkan literasi obat dan kesadaran masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan edukasi DAGUSIBU kepada 24 peserta lansia di Kelurahan Bendankergon, Kota Pekalongan, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemandirian mereka dalam mengelola obat. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi interaktif, demonstrasi, dan pembagian buku saku. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 10 Oktober 2025, dan dilengkapi dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis. Hasil evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai naik dari 68,66 menjadi 92,33. Partisipasi aktif peserta mengindikasikan bahwa intervensi ini berhasil dan relevan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman lansia tentang pengelolaan obat yang aman dan bertanggung jawab sesuai prinsip DAGUSIBU.
