Abstract

Social media is currently widely used to discuss politics and the resulting discourse often polarizes society. In addition to the issue of political polarization, an important issue that needs to be observed ahead of, during and after the election is the circulation of hoaxes, fake news, and hate speech between supporters of political candidates. According to the results of the Kompas R&D survey, the interest of Generation Z is large enough to use the right to vote in the 2024 election. However, their enthusiasm tends to be lower when compared to the generation above them. If in Generation Z the enthusiasm rate is at 67.8 percent, then the participants of the generation above have a percentage of 68.1-77.9 percent. For this reason, it is necessary to have alternative media that can be used as a vehicle for political education for generation Z so that their enthusiasm to participate in elections is increasing. This community service team has developed a card game as an alternative media for voter education among generation z. The result of the event using this game shows an increase of understanding of the participants from 43,33 point to 67,65 point in average out of 17 participants of the event.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the influence of local government spending, regional inflation and unemployment rates open to regional development inequality in sumbagsel in the perspective of Islamic Economics in 2015-2023”. The type of research used in this study uses a quantitative approach with panel data analysis methods. Data obtained through the Central Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Finance and analyzed using the T test and F test to determine each independent variable to the dependent, namely inequality of regional development. Based on the analysis, partially government spending, inflation, and unemployment do not significantly affect the inequality of development in Sumbagsel. However, all three variables simultaneously have a very significant effect on inequality, suggesting that the complex interplay of these factors is a key driver of regional disparities. These findings affirm the importance of local governments to implement holistic and integrated policies in accordance with Sharia economic principles, which focus on equitable distribution of resources and the creation of equitable welfare.

Abstract

Covid-19 prevention has also entered a new era with the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine, which has undergone clinical trials and has been mass-produced to enhance immunity. However, the administration of vaccinations has resulted in unexpected reactions known as Adverse Events Following Immunization (KIPI). This phenomenon suggests that low vaccination rates may be associated with perceived dangerous KIPI reactions, which can be attributed to doubts and misinformation about vaccines. This study used a correlation analytical research design with a retrospective method. The population of this study consisted of all individuals who had received vaccination and experienced KIPI reactions in the working area of Teja Health Center, totaling 30 people. The characteristics of the respondents, as seen from their allergic history and vaccine stages, showed a significant correlation (p = 0.027 < 0.05). The p-value for vaccine stages was 0.000, indicating a significant relationship with the severity of KIPI reactions in Covid-19 vaccine recipients. However, age and gender were not significantly associated with the severity of KIPI reactions. The severity of KIPI reactions in Covid-19 vaccine recipients has a significant correlation with the characteristics of the respondents, as seen from their allergic history and vaccine stages.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of inflation, the Corruption Perceptions Index, and the exchange rate on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the ASEAN-5 region from the perspective of Islamic economics during the 2019–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative method using a panel data approach. The selection of the most appropriate regression model was conducted through the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier test, which collectively identified the Random Effects Model (REM) as the most suitable. Data analysis was performed using Eviews 13 software. The findings reveal that both inflation and the Corruption Perceptions Index have a positive and significant impact on FDI, whereas the exchange rate exerts a negative but statistically insignificant effect on FDI. Collectively, inflation, the Corruption Perceptions Index, and the exchange rate significantly influence FDI, as indicated by an F-statistic probability value of 0.000047. From the perspective of Islamic economics, these results underscore the importance of economic stability, good governance, and equitable wealth distribution in fostering a healthy and sustainable investment climate.
