Abstract

Anxiety experienced by the elderly in Indonesia is very high. Anxiety disorders in the elderly reach 5.5%, which is often experienced by those aged 60 years and over. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation techniques and reminiscence therapy on the level of anxiety in the elderly. This research is a quasi-experimental study, with a total sampling technique of 30 respondents who were divided into 2 groups. The instrument in this study used HARS. Data analysis using paired samples test and GLM. The results showed a decrease in anxiety levels after the intervention with p-value=0.000. The results obtained in these two interventions were a p-value of 0.000<0.05, it can be concluded that there was a change in the value of decreasing anxiety in the elderly before and after the progressive muscle relaxation technique and reminiscence therapy was carried out. Suggestions for further researchers need to do similar research with the addition of a larger number of respondents. Therefore, intervention was carried out not in groups, and different sample criteria were carried out to get maximum results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa perulangan dalam novel Orang-Orang Biasa karya Andrea Hirata dan mengetahui implikasi pembelajaran di SMA. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskripsi kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi kualitatif. Sumber data adalah novel Orang-Orang Biasa. Teknik penyediaan data menggunakan teknik pustaka, teknik baca, dan teknik catat. Data yang diperoleh akan diklasifikasikan, dideskripsikan, dan disajikan menggunakan metode informal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam novel OOB menggunakan beberapa gaya bahasa perulangan. Gaya bahasa perulangan tersebut ada sembilan, yaitu aliterasi, asonansi, antanaklasis, epizeukis, anafora, epistrofa, mesodilopsis, epanalepsis, dan anadilopsis. Gaya bahasa perulangan yang paling dominan dalam novel tersebut adalah anafora. Gaya bahasa perulangan yang digunakan Andrea pada novel OOB bertujuan untuk menambah nilai keindahan dalam novel tersebut dengan cara menekankan kata atau frase yang dianggap penting diulang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas XII semester 1 dengan materi sastra dan pokok bahasan gaya bahasa khususnya gaya bahasa perulangan.

Abstract

This dedication shows that the lack of stability of the concept and aesthetic reading process is one of the obstacles that inhibits the fostering of the appreciation of the literature of students of SMK N 1 Slawi. The purpose of this dedication is 1) Identifying the ability to read literary texts, especially reading poetry in students of SMK N 1 Slawi. 2) Describe the application of aesthetic reading in literary learning, especially reading poetry at SMK N 1 Slawi. The method used in this service is a qualitative instrumental approach. Where this dedication will produce new methods in reading aesthetics. The sample in this service is class XI student of SMK N 1 Slawi. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, observations on all parties involved in the implementation of this service. The results of this dedication of 10% of students are able to read poetry well and by 90% of students have not been able to read poetry well in the first meeting. There was an increase in the ability to read poetry after being given aesthetic reading stimulus by the team, that is 70% of students were skilled in reading poetry and 30% of students had difficulty in determining gestures and appreciation.

Abstract

Aims: This study aims to identify the effect of puzzle cognitive therapy on the level of independence of elderly people with dementia in nursing homes. Method : the research used a quasi-experimental pre-post design with control group design. Sampling was taken using a total sampling technique, 24 respondents in the intervention group and 24 in the control group. Puzzle therapy was carried out for 9 sessions. Measurement of independence used the MMSE (Mini mental status examination) questionnaire and the Katz Index. Analysis with dependent t-test at significance 0.05 (CI 95%) and GLM-RM (General Linear Model Repeated Measure). Results: The results of the paired T test in the intervention group produced a p-value of 0.000, while the control group had a p-value of 0.043. dependent T test and Greenhouse-Geisser (sig) with p value 0.00. Elderly people who are given puzzle activities improve the health and well-being of elderly people with cognitive decline Conclusion: puzzle therapy can improve increasing independence in elderly people with dementia.

Abstract

In Muslim communities, there are nursing homes and elderly care facilities, some of which are operated by Islamic organizations such as Aisyiyah in Indonesia, which is part of Muhammadiyah. The community grapples with the question of how Islamic law views the act of children placing their elderly parents in nursing homes, given that there are differing opinions on this matter. This article investigates the Islamic perspective on this issue. Using a library research approach, it explores whether it is considered disobedient and thus prohibited or whether positive aspects should be considered. The article concludes on several points, namely: (1) Islamic law strongly emphasizes the obligation of honoring the elderly both by the children or their families, as well as by society and the state; (2) It is obligatory for children to do good (iḥsān) to their parents, which is reflected among others in the form of providing them with proper support and maintenance when they are no longer able to be independent. Deliberately neglecting one's parents and avoiding responsibility for their upkeep out of laziness, despite having the economic and social capacity to do so, is a violation of the child's obligation and is a form of disobedience; and (3) Placing one's parents in a nursing home by the child due to social and economic conditions that make it impossible for them to take care of them on their own and with the consideration that the interests of the parents will be better secured and to avoid neglect and on condition that the parents are willing, is permissible. Placing parents in a nursing home is a last resort after other efforts have been exhausted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-management guidance and self-care education on the quality of life of hypertensive patients in the working area of the East Rasanae Community Health Center, Bima City. This research method uses a Quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test with control. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the quality of life score in the intervention group, namely 50,360, and the control group by 55,280, accompanied by a significance value of 0.008 (p < 0.05) and a calculated t value of - 2,788 (< t table (2.05954). Multivariate test The quality of sleep in the intervention group showed P-Value = 0.004. The conclusion is that there is an influence of self-management guidance education and hypertension self-care on the quality of life of hypertensive patients. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the repetition in the collection of the poetry Jauh itu Dekat by Tri Mulyono and and describe its implications for learning Indonesian in high school. The research method used qualitative descriptive. This study used an objective approach. The data source in the study was 19 poems the collection of the poetry Jauh itu Dekat karya Tri Mulyono, published in 2020 by Satria Publisher. The research instrument is the researcher. The collection technique uses reading techniques and note taking techniques. Data analysis technique used analysis descriptive by means of reduction, categorization, and conclusions. Test the validity of the data using the validity of advisors who are expert advisors in the field and discussions with colleagues. The results showed that the eight repetition in the collection of the poetry Jauh itu Dekat by Tri Mulyono. The eight repetitions are epizeuxis, tautotes, anaphora, epistrophe, simploke, mesodiplosis, epanalepsis, and anadiplosis. The used of repetition is specially designed by the writer collection of the poetry Jauh itu Dekat by Tri Mulyono  to give a rhythm that adds to the aesthetic value of the poem.

Abstract

Ada kenyataan historis bahwa masalah yang pertama-tama muncul dalam Islam sepeninggalan nabi Muhammad bukanlah masalah teologi, melainkan justru masalah politik, walaupun kemudian persoalan politik ini segera menjelma menjadi perbincangan teologis. Problem yang paling mengenai khilafah atau imamah yang dilukiskan oleh al-Syahrastani (479 - 548 H)  sebagai “pertentangan paling besar di kalangan umat Islam, sebab”, lanjut ahli ilmu perbandingan agama ini, “tidak pernah terjadi sebuah pedang dihunuskan karena suatu masalah dasar agama seperti yang terjadi karena masalah imamah di setiap zaman”.).

Abstract

Background: Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder characterized by difficulties in thought processes. One of the factors influencing repeated hospitalizations in patients with schizophrenia is the knowledge about schizophrenia and family support, which can lead to medication non-adherence. Methods: This study employs a cross-sectional approach with 129 participants who have a family member experiencing repeated hospitalizations or long-term patients diagnosed with schizophrenia at dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Psychiatric Hospital. The sampling data collection technique uses probability. Data were collecte using questionnaire with a reliability value for knowledge about schizophrenia (KASQ) of 0.945, informational support 0.935, assessment/award support 0.915, emotional 0.907, and medication adherence (MARS) 0.960. Bivariate data analysis using logistic regression and multivariate data using the multiple logistic regression test. Results: The research result showed that the majority of respondents had insufficient knowledge 47.3 % with a p-value of 0.000 that there was a significant relationship between family knowledge about schizophrenia and adherence to taking medication. Informational support is 66.7% lacking with a p-value 0.000 a significant relationship between infomational support and medication adherence. Support for assessment/reward is less that 78.3% with a p-value 0.000 that there is significant relationship between support for assessment/reward and adherence to taking medication. Instrumental support wasl 77.5% with a p-value 0.000 that there was a significant relationship between instrumental support and compliance with taking medication. Emotional support was less at 77.5% with a p-value 0.000 that there was significat reletionship between emotional support and compliance with taking medication. The dominant factor among families of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia experiencing repeated hospitalizations at dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Psychiatric Hospital was the variable of family informational support with an odds ratio of 32.003. This indicates that families with informational support are 32 times more likely to have repeated hospitalizations compared to families without informational support, after controlling for variables of knowledge about schizophrenia, family instrumental support, and family appraisal/esteem support. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge about schizophrenia, informational support, appraisal/esteem support, instrumental support, and emotional support with medication adherence.

Abstract

 ABTRAKPenulisan karya ilmiah menjadi hal penting dalam dunia akademik. Menulis karya ilmiah sudah menjadi persyaratan wajib bagi mahasiswa jika ingin lulus dalam studinya, menulis karya ilmiah menjadi bagian yang penting bagi guru maupun dosen untuk bisa menguasainya. Oleh sebab itu penulisan karya ilmiah adalah sesuatu yang sangat vital dalam kehidupan akademik. Dalam menulis karya ilmiah dibutuhkan referensi yang dijadikan sebagai rujukan dalam menulis sebuah buku ajar misalnya. Referensi dimaksud wajib dituliskan sebagai sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Penulisan daftar pustaka secara manual akan sangat merepotkan dikarenakan penulisan kata dan tanda baca atau ejaan harus benar- benar tepat. Mendeley merupakan aplikasi yang juga dapat memanggil metadata sumber pustaka. Dengan demikian pengetahuan terhadap penggunaan Mendeley sangat dibutuhkan untuk kalangan akademisi. Untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dimaksud dapat dengan mengikuti pelatihan. Metode pendekatan untuk menyelesaikan masalah  dilakukan melalui transfer ilmu     pengetahuan. Temuan dalam PKM ini adalah kemampuan guru dapat meningkat dalam reference manager dan diharapkan PKM dapat terus berjalan berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: daftar pustaka; karya ilmiah; mendeley; pengelola referensi; sitasi
