Abstract

This study aims to analyze community service from the perspective of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its contribution to community welfare and local economic development. The study employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Data were obtained from various literature sources indexed in Google Scholar and other credible websites published between 2014 and 2026. In the initial stage, 50 articles were identified, and through a rigorous selection process, 34 main articles relevant to the research objectives were selected. The findings indicate that community service plays an important role in enhancing community capacity, strengthening MSMEs, improving financial literacy, and promoting participatory local economic development. The SDGs perspective positions community service as a strategic instrument in creating inclusive and sustainable development. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including low program sustainability, limited impact evaluation, and suboptimal cross-sector collaboration in the implementation of community service programs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) generatif dalam aktivitas akademik mahasiswa, sementara pemahaman mengenai cara kerja, keterbatasan, risiko bias, validitas informasi, dan etika penggunaannya masih belum sepenuhnya memadai. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi mendorong penggunaan AI secara instan, tidak kritis, dan kurang transparan dalam penyusunan tugas akademik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan etika pemanfaatan AI dalam mendukung produktivitas sekaligus menjaga integritas akademik mahasiswa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Jumat, 8 Mei 2026 di UKI Toraja dengan sasaran mahasiswa. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, workshop interaktif, praktik langsung, diskusi reflektif, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Materi kegiatan mencakup literasi AI untuk produktivitas akademik, teknik verifikasi keluaran AI, batas etis penggunaan AI, dan pentingnya transparansi dalam pemanfaatan AI. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 38 peserta dari 40 peserta yang terdaftar. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 75 pada pre-test menjadi 90 pada post-test. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan sebagian berhasil mempraktikkan penggunaan AI secara langsung. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik dapat memperkuat pemahaman mahasiswa, tetapi keberlanjutan pendampingan tetap diperlukan agar penggunaan AI tidak berhenti pada aspek teknis, melainkan berkembang menjadi budaya akademik yang kritis, etis, dan bertanggung jawab

Abstract

This study aims to examine inclusive education management through community service programs as an effort to achieve access and educational equity. The approach used is qualitative with a literature review research design, specifically intended to enrich references related to community service within the context of inclusive education. Data were collected from various scientific sources through Google Scholar and other credible websites within the period 1964–2026. From 50 articles obtained in the initial stage, a rigorous selection process based on relevance, quality, and topic suitability resulted in 26 articles being analyzed. The analysis technique employed was descriptive qualitative by identifying patterns, themes, and relationships among concepts. The findings indicate that the success of inclusive education is strongly influenced by community involvement, social support, and collaboration among stakeholders. Community service programs play a strategic role as instruments that bridge the gap between theory and practice, while also enhancing inclusive literacy in society. However, challenges remain in integrating these programs into a comprehensive education management system. Therefore, strengthening management, improving human resource capacity, and developing sustainable community-based models are necessary to optimally support the implementation of inclusive education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi layanan perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di Sekolah Dasar Santo Joseph Rajawali Makassar serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan sumber data terdiri atas kepala sekolah, pengelola perpustakaan, dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode serta analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) strategi layanan perpustakaan yang diterapkan di SD Santo Joseph Rajawali Makassar meliputi: (a) strategi promosi, belum dilakukan secara khusus tetapi melalui penataan ruang baca yang menarik dan penyediaan kutipan motivasi membaca serta pengintegrasian melalui program layanan; (b) strategi layanan luar biasa, berupa penerapan jadwal kunjungan perpustakaan setiap kelas serta penyediaan sudut baca di setiap ruang kelas; dan (c) strategi layanan pengguna, dengan memberikan pelayanan ramah, komunikatif, membantu siswa menemukan bacaan sesuai minat, serta mendorong keterlibatan guru dalam kegiatan literasi. (2) Faktor pendukung & Penghambat: (a) Faktor Pendukung strategi ini adalah dukungan kepala sekolah dan guru, adanya fasilitas baca yang memadai, serta kerjasama yang baik antara pustakawan dan tenaga pendidik. (b) Faktor penghambatnya meliputi keterbatasan koleksi buku, kurangnya promosi berbasis teknologi, serta keterbatasan kompetensi pustakawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Strategi Humas dalam Menjalin Hubungan Kemitraan di SMK Kartika XX-1 Makassar serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang humas, ketua bidang Praktek Sistem Ganda (PSG), dan ketua Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) strategi humas dalam menjalin hubungan kemitraan meliputi: (a) Strategi Operasional meliputi: penelusuran industri, penandatangan MoU dan pelibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan; (b) Strategi Persuasif dan Edukatif, meliputi: pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana sosialisasi potensi dan keunggulan sekolah sekolah serta kunjungan langsung ke industri; (c) Strategi Tanggung Jawab Sosial, meliputi: analisis kebutuhan mitra, pendidikan dan pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi siswa; (d) Strategi Kerja Sama, meliputi: model kerjasama menggunakan MoU, pelaksanaan PKL dan guru tamu; (e) Strategi Koordinatif dan Integratif, meliputi: koordinasi humas dengan pihak eksternal dan internal, dan pengawasan kegiatan kemitraan. (2) Faktor pendukung dan Penghambat: (a) Faktor pendukung, meliputi: kedisiplinan dan kompetensi siswa; (b) Faktor penghambat meliputi: ketidakkonsistenan kualitas siswa, dan perubahan cepat kebutuhan industri.

Abstract

Abstract. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive method through textual analysis of the poem Die Heimkehr. The analysis is conducted by examining elements of the poem’s physical structure (diction, imagery, figurative language, typography, and rhyme) as well as its inner structure (theme, emotion, atmosphere, tone, and message), which are then related to the social and historical context of nineteenth-century Germany. The data are derived from the text of Die Heimkehr and supporting literature on the socio-political conditions of Germany during Heine’s era. The results of the study indicate that Die Heimkehr contains social criticism encompassing eight main aspects: politics, economy, education, morality, religion, culture, family, and gender. Heine conveys this criticism through irony, satire, symbolism, and poetic imagery that conceal social messages behind linguistic beauty. The poem’s physical structure is employed to construct subtle irony that remains safe from censorship, while its inner structure reveals the collective anxiety of German society under political repression, poverty, social inequality, and moral declineKeyword: The Heimkehr, Social Criticism, Sociology of Literature, Poetry

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the influence of internship experience, social skills, and social support on the work readiness of economics students at Makassar State University, and Learning Organization as a mediating variable in the relationship between these variables. A quantitative approach was used in this study. Participants in this study consisted entirely of students of the Department of Economics, Makassar State University, and a sample of 271 students was identified using a purposive sampling technique. This data analysis was carried out using PLS-SEM. The results of the study found that internship experience, soft skills, and social support had a positive and significant effect on students' work readiness. Furthermore, learning organization was proven to act as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between students' internship experience, soft skills, social support, and work readiness. These findings indicate that improving the quality of internships, developing soft skill, and maximizing social support, supported by an effective learning organization environment, in its role to prepare students for professional and competitive performance in the workplace.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of financial planning, spending habits, and sources of income on personal financial stability through self-control as a mediating variable among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University. This study employed a quantitative method and surveyed 361 participants; Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the data. The results show that financial planning, spending habits, and income sources have a positive and significant effect on personal financial stability as well as on self-control. In addition, self-control was also found to have a positive and significant effect on personal financial stability. Furthermore, this study found that self-control acts as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between financial planning, spending habits, and income sources on personal financial stability.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. This research aims to address the low mastery of Arabic vocabulary of eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Mariso through the implementation of a digital micromodule based on Heyzine Flipbook. The subjects of this research were all 15 eighth-grade students with a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the conditions of cycle I successfully improved compared to the pre-cycle conditions with an average of 84.61 and a completion percentage of 70%. Because it had not met the 75% success criteria, the action continued to Cycle II. This Cycle II focused on qualitative improvements, namely improving classroom management by researchers to address discipline problems and lack of student concentration detected in Cycle I as well as checking the availability of teaching materials. This corrective action was completely successful, resulting in a significant increase with an average of 91.15 and a completion percentage of 92%, exceeding the set target.  Qualitatively, students responded positively to the micromodule media because its interactive and audio-visual format (especially the songs) was considered fun and exciting, which effectively increased motivation and facilitated vocabulary recall. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Heyzine Flipbook-based digital micromodule was proven to be successful and comprehensive in improving students' Arabic vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

For many years, the neoclassical economic model has been the basis of modern economic analysis. This model is based on the assumptions of individual rationality, market equilibrium, and resource allocation based on market prices. This study examines and evaluates the neoclassical economic model from an Islamic economic perspective. Specifically, it seeks a deeper understanding of how Islamic economic principles and values can offer alternatives or adjustments to the currently dominant neoclassical model. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes relevant literature on Islamic and neoclassical economics. In addition, this study involves a comparative study of the basic principles of both paradigms; in addition, this study explores the theoretical and practical perspectives offered by Islamic economists. This study shows that the criticism of the neoclassical economic model from the perspective of Islamic economics has a strong and reasonable basis. Social justice and fair distribution in the distribution of resources are often overlooked by the neoclassical economic model. In conclusion, this study shows that there is great potential to create a more inclusive and sustainable economic model by combining Islamic economic principles with the neoclassical economic framework. Although there are fundamental differences between the two paradigms, incorporating Islamic economic principles in a judicious manner can result in a more equitable and effective economic system.
