Abstract

This study describes the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in Pancasila Education subjects in class 1B SDN Kaligawe Semarang. TaRL is a learning method that emphasizes grouping students based on their ability level, rather than age or formal class. This study aims to describe the application of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in Pancasila Education subjects in class 1B at SDN Kaligawe Semarang. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through class observation, interviews, and documentation. The background to this research is the difference in abilities each student possesses. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of TaRL can help students actively participate in learning and improve their understanding.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media to the cognitive abilities of students at SDN Kaligawe Semarang. The method used is a quantitative method of the pre-experimental type with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all students of class VB at SDN Kaligawe for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 27 students with 11 male students and 16 female students. The data collection technique was through a cognitive learning outcome test. The average pretest score was 64.07, while the average posttest score was 85.00. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the pretest and posttest data yielded a value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Then, the average N-gain value of cognitive learning outcomes was 0.6031 with moderate criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning using stick and plasticine media on Mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students of SDN Sendangguwo 01 Semarang. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 28 students from class IVB SDN Sendangguwo 01 Semarang. Data were collected through tests and documentation. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and N-gain calculation. The Wilcoxon test was chosen due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The findings indicated a significant Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000<0.05, thus supporting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The N-gain analysis categorized the effectiveness as moderate, with an N-gain score of 0.5830 and a percentage N-gain of 58.3007. Therefore, the project-based learning model using stick and plasticine media significantly proved to be moderately effective in enhancing Mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SDN Sendangguwo 01 Semarang. This research is expected to contribute to educational practices.

Abstract

Background: In 2021, an estimated 536.6 million people worldwide, or 9.3% of the population, had type II diabetes mellitus (DM). In Indonesia, the prevalence of type II DM increased from 6.9% in 2013 to 8.5% in 2018. In Central Java, the prevalence was 1.59%. At the Gatak Sukoharjo Community Health Center, in June 2005, 129 new sufferers were recorded, or 46.4% of the population of 46,754 people. One of the key actions is self-management, including blood sugar monitoring for individuals with diabetes. Purpose: To determine the relationship between self-management behavior and blood sugar levels in individuals with type II diabetes mellitus (DM). Method: Descriptive correlational research with cross sectional design to analyze the relationship between self-management behavior and blood sugar levels in type II DM patients. Sampling using total sampling technique and obtained 75 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Result: The majority of individuals with type II diabetes mellitus had low self-management (36.0%) and high blood sugar levels (74.7%), indicating poorly controlled conditions. Most respondents were female (72.0%), had an education level of elementary school or equivalent (53.3%), were unemployed (44.0%), had been living with the disease for more than 10 years (85.3%), and were aged 56-65 years (49.3%). The Spearman Rank test analysis showed a significant relationship between self-management and blood sugar levels (p = 0.001). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between self-management behavior and blood sugar levels in individuals with type II diabetes mellitus (DM).   Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Type II; Blood Sugar Levels; Self Management Behavior.   Pendahuluan: Pada tahun 2021, diperkirakan 536.6 juta orang di dunia 9.3% populasi mengidap diabetes melitus (DM) tipe II. Di Indonesia, prevalensi DM tipe II meningkat dari 6.9% pada 2013 menjadi 8.5% pada 2018. Di Jawa Tengah, prevalensinya sebesar 1.59%. Salah satu yang harus dilakukan adalah self management, termasuk pemantauan kadar gula darah bagi penderita diabetes. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku self management dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM) tipe II. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan desain cross sectional untuk menganalisis hubungan perilaku self-management dan kadar gula darah pada pasien DM tipe II. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 75 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil: Mayoritas pengidap diabetes melitus (DM) tipe II memiliki self management rendah (36.0%) dan kadar gula darah tinggi (74.7%), hal ini mencerminkan kondisi tidak terkontrol. Sebagian besar responden adalah wanita (72.0%), tingkat pendidikan SD/sederajat (53.3%), tidak bekerja (44.0%), mengidap penyakit >10 tahun (85.3%), dan berusia 56-65 tahun (49.3%). Analisis uji Rank Spearman menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara self management dan kadar gula darah (p = 0.001). Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan perilaku self management dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM) tipe II.   Kata Kunci: Diabetes Melitus (DM) Tipe II; Kadar Gula Darah; Perilaku Self Management.

Abstract

Teachers in the independent curriculum era have more demands than in previous eras. One of them is the mastery of TPACK, which is a framework used by teachers. TPACK contains three components, namely Technology, Pedagogy, and Content where one of the components is the technology used by teachers throughout classroom learning. One of these technologies is Artificial Intelligence (AI). For some teachers, especially elementary school teachers in Semarang City, The results of the workshop showed that 80% of the participants were able to create teaching materials and learning media based on AI, especially utilizing GAMMA and MAGICSCHOOL. It is hoped that this activity can help teachers in learning in the classroom so that the number of teachers who are not technology illiterate will increase and fun learning will be realized

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in achieving the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of critical thinking and collaboration in the Pancasila Education subject for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employs a mixed methods design, combining Descriptive Qualitative and Quasi-Experimental Research methodologies. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and pre-test and post-test worksheets. The research subjects comprise 48 elementary school students, divided into Class 5A as the experimental group and Class 5C as the control group. This study's results show that using the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach enables students to achieve the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of collaboration and critical thinking. Based on classroom observations and interviews, students demonstrated increased activity in helping their peers, sharing ideas, and working together to complete group tasks. Furthermore, the independent sample t-test results indicate a significant value of 0.00 in the post-test, which is lower than 0.05. This finding demonstrates that the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach effectively helps fifth-grade students of SDN Karanganyar Gunung 02 achieve the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of critical thinking and collaboration in the Pancasila Education subject

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya partisipasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi tubuh tumbuhan. Hal ini disebabkan karena penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Problem Based Learning berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas 4 SDN Lemahputih Rembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimen Desaign) dengan bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai sig 2-tailed sebesar 0,001. Dimana 0,001  0,05 dengan taraf signifikasi sebesar 0,05, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran berbasis berdiferensiasi. Dengan adanya penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) sebesar 70 dan telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar klasikal dengan proporsi sebesar 70%. Selain itu dibuktikan dengan hasil N-Gain diperoleh skor 0,3  dan diperoleh rata-rata N-Gain skor sebesar 57% dengan kategori sedang sehingga tafsirannya cukup efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi menggunakan media gambar seri siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Puguh Kabupaten Kendal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran dan menganalisis hasil keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi menggunakan media gambar seri. Jenis penelititan yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data ini terdiri dari siswa kelas III, guru kelas III, dan kepala sekolah SD Negeri 2 Puguh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah: wawancara, observasi, dan tes keterampilan menulis. Dalam penelitian ini pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu keterampilann menulis karangan deksripsi menggunakan media gambar seri diperoleh 1 siswa dengan nilai tinggi,  presentasenya sebesar 6,25%, 2 siswa dengan nilai sedang, presentasenya adalah 13,5%, 13 siswa dengan nilai rendah, presentasenya adalah 81,25%. Keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa menggunakan media gambar siswa siswa kelas III adalah rendah. Keterampilan menulis dengan rata-rata rendah memiliki permasalahan diantaranya yaitu siswa merasa kesulitan dalam menulis ejaan dan tanda baca yang benar dalam sebuah tulisan, kurangnya keaktifan membaca dan referensi membaca siswa, masih kebingungan apa yang harus dimulai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan operasi hitung perkalian kelas III SDN Sendangguwo 02 Semarang. Sampel penelitian menggunakan siswa kelas III SDN Sendangguwo 02 Semarang semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, dan tes tertulis. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes tertulis berbentuk soal isian singkat berupa soal pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur kemampuan operasi hitung siswa kelas III. Menurut hasil analisis dan pembahasan penelitian, terdapat pengaruh kemampuan operasi hitung perkalian siswa pada kelas eksperimen. Dengan melihat hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai sign. 0,001, sehingga nilai sign. 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H_0 ditolak dan H_a diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan operasi hitung perkalian siswa kelas III SDN Sendangguwo 02 Semarang secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lavender aromatherapy on improving sleep quality in older people. The research method used is a pre-experimental design case study with a one-group pre-test - post-test design. The results of the study showed that based on the results of the statistical test, namely the Paired sample t-test, a p-value of 0.004 was obtained, so the P-Value <0.05, which means that there is an effect of lavender aromatherapy on improving sleep quality in older people before and after aromatherapy. In conclusion, lavender aromatherapy significantly affects older people who experience poor sleep quality, as indicated by a significant difference between the values ​​before and after the intervention.
