Abstract

Opera Van Java (OVJ) adalah program situasi komedi dalam bentuk pertunjukan mo- difikasi wayang orang yang ditayangkan di stasiun televisi Trans7. Pertunjukan OVJ menjadi program acara prime time dengan wayang-wayangnya antara lain Sule, Andre, Nunung, Azis Gagap, Parto (Sang Dalang) dan para sinden. Tayangan OVJ dikemas lebih modern dengan mengangkat cerita-cerita tidak hanya dari kisah pewayangan, cerita rakyat berbagai daerah di Indonesia maupun dari luar negeri seperti Cinderella, Sun Go Kong, Romeo dan Juliet dan se- bagainya. Tayangan OVJ juga memparodikan kisah band musik dan kisah hidup artis di Indo- nesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis intertekstualitas Mikhail Bakhtin. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan transformasi nilai berupa parodi dalam program sitkom OVJ sebagai bentuk humor dan dimaksudkan hanya untuk hiburan bagi penonton dan pe- main (wayang-wayang OVJ). Tidak ada sedikit pun ruang kritik seperti yang dimaksud dalam hakekat pertunjukan parodi. Penayangan OVJ parodi biografi banyak menggunakan referensi- alitas diri tokoh cerita untuk hiburan dan kesan lucu semata. Kata kunci: transformasi nilai, wayang orang, opera van java, televisi trans7

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan Pendekatan Experiential Learning yang diterapkan pada programdiklat Keahlian ganda dengan peserta diklat guru-guru adaptif dan normatif agar memiliki kompetensi teknikotomasi sebagai guru produktif dengan mengikuti diklat tatap muka selama 2 bulan pada In service learning1. Pendekatan Experiential Learning memberikan pengalaman yang nyata dan berarti yang akanmembangun keterampilan melalui penugasan-penugasan nyata. metode ini akan mengakomodasi danmemberikan proses umpan balik serta evaluasi antara hasil penerapan dengan apa yang seharusnyadilakukan. Melalui 5 fase atau tingkatan/tahapan pada Experiential Learning membawa pengalamanpengalaman yang dimiliki oleh pembelajar/peserta diklat dikolaborasikan dengan pengalaman-pengalamanbaru yang dirasakan selama mengikuti diklat yang akan diimplementasikan di sekolah sebagai guruproduktif.Kata Kunci : keahlian ganda, pendekatan, experiential learning, teknik otomasi industri

Abstract

At the beginning of 2021, the Democratic Party was burdened by the coup issue with the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) initiated by Jhoni Allen Marbun and company who produced the new Chairman of the Democratic Party, Moeldoko. The culmination of the Democratic Party leadership takeover case occurred when Minister Yasonna Laoly officially mentioned that the Democratic Party KLB had submitted the results of the KLB led by Jhoni Allen Marbun (one of the initiators of KLB). News of the coup carried out by Moeldoko against the Democratic Party has been widely highlighted by the mass media, especially online media such as Detik.com and Okezone.com. The study aimed to find out how the two media outlets framed the news of the Democratic Party coup case between Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Moeldoko, researchers using Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki framing looked at the framing of syntactic, script, thematic and rhetorical structures. Researchers use the consumerist paradigm and qualitative research methods. Research results showed that Detik.com emphasized on cornering the Moeldoko party where the Democratic Party coup carried out by Moeldoko's side was wrong and not right from the legal side, and many featured sources that were pro-AHY. Meanwhile, Okezone.com is more balanced and bolder in conveying criticism to Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) so the two online media both Detik.com and Okezone.com have different ways of building opinions and perceptions of readers by looking at the issue of the coup carried out by the Moeldoko camp against the leadership of the Democratic Party and adjusting to what each of the media wants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of social criticism in the film Pretty Boys using John Fiske's semiotic analysis. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research method with a descriptive type of research to examine a social critique that occurred in the film "Pretty Boys." In contrast, the approach used was John Fiske's semiotic approach which was used to investigate the level of reality, the level of representation, and the level of ideology. Based on the analysis, it is known that at the reality level, nine television codes represent social criticism through four scenes analyzed by the researchers, namely the display code, dress code, and makeup code—media owner. At the representation level, five television codes represent social criticism through four scenes analyzed by the researcher showing the camera code the shooting technique used is close up to show Bayu's gesture when giving an example to appear as a kemayu man to Rahmat and Anugrah, medium close up shows the player's expression, the medium shot shows the atmosphere captured by the camera and the extended photo shows the player's clothing, makeup, words, and gestures clearly. At the ideological level, it describes the existence of an ideology of capitalism which shows that media ownership is concerned with economic profit compared to the interests of the audience, with Karl Max's critical theory as a supporter and the commodification that occurs behind a media, the author concludes that there is a social criticism that arises in the Pretty Boys film.

Abstract

Mantan anak jalanan dalam kehidupannya saat ini memiliki konsep diri atau gambaran terhadap dirinyadari apa yang sudah mereka alami dalam peristiwa dan pengalamannya di masa lalu. Melalui konsepdirinya, mantan anak jalanan menampilkan simbol-simbol yang telah mereka beri makna dan telah merekapertukarkanhingga mereka tampilkan dalam tindakannya saat ini.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui bagaimanakah konsep diri mantan anak jalanan dan bagaimanakah makna simbolik yangdipertukarkan oleh mereka.Teori yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah teori interaksi simbolik menurutBlumer dan Mead serta teori the looking glass self menurut Cooley. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankualitatif dengan fenomenologi sebagai metode penelitiannya. Dari seluruh proses penelitian yang dilakukan,didapatkan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa dari keempat kelompok makna konsep diri yangmelekat pada diri mereka, yaitu peran ekonomi, moral, harga diri, dan aktualisasi diri, mereka melakukansebuah pertukaran simbol yang telah mereka beri makna lalu mereka tunjukkan melalui tindakan berupapenampilan dan perilaku.

Abstract

In November 2020, public attention was drawn to the immoral video issue involving the artist Gisella Anastasia. The case is synonymous with the term "19 Seconds," as the duration of the footage that has been distributed publicly is 19 Seconds. As a result, the media, notably okezone.com and kompas.com, turned their attention to this matter. The purpose of this study is to examine how the media outlets okezone.com and kompas.com covered the 19 Seconds immoral video case and framed the female figure in the 19 Seconds of Gisella Anastasia immoral video case in order to foster stereotypes and stigma against women. Pan and Kosicki framing analysis is used in this study to determine how the media outlets okezone.com and kompas.com construct immoral video reporting through the text and images that appear on the immoral video news 19 Seconds Gisella Anastasia. The study's findings indicate that the news portals okezone.com and kompas.com frequently discuss Gisella Anastasia

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik yang akan digunakan dalam penalitian ini adalah purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sample dengan cara menetapkan ciri-ciri khusus yang sesusai dengan tujuan penelitian sehingga diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan penelitian. Ciri-ciri khusus itu ialah Berusia 0-5 tahun, tinggal di salah satu kota tersebut : Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, menonton konten Youtube Cocomelon. Berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut, sampel yang didapat sebesar 96,04 orang , tetapi peneliti melakukan pembulatan dan untuk mempermudah itungan maka peneliti akan mengambil sampel sebanyak 100 orang. Populasi yang dipilih peneliti untuk ditinjau kemudian menjadi pembatas dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas dapat dikatakan populasi merupakan semua objek yang memiliki keistimewaan untuk dijadikan sampel. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah jumlah anak usia golden age di Jabodetabek yakni 610.538 anak yang berusia 0-5 tahun atau anak usia dini (BPS, 2020) . Penelitian ini melibatkan orang tua dari anak usia golden age sebagai responden. Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, Konten Youtube, Anak Usia Golden Age

Abstract

Journalists are among the workers who continue to engage in journalism activities like news covering despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Journalists facing paradoxical conditions between being productive in news covering and the dangers of virus transmission that can infect at any time. In other hand, journalists need support equipment facilities to avoid virus transmission during news covering process. Moreover, various media companies announce layoffs and salary cuts by asserting business uncertainty. This study aims to describe journalists’ vulnerability within journalism activity and journalist as occupation during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This study was conducted with a qualitative method by analyzing the primer data from 50 journalist various region and representatives of journalist’s association in Indonesia. Furthermore, we analyze secondary data that provided officially by Alliance of Independent Journalists Indonesia. Authors found that the lack of health insurance, support for preventing the spread of COVID-19, unilateral dismissals by media institutions, and salary cuts place journalists in a difficult position. Aspects of journalism activities that run normally without institutional or structural support legitimize the vulnerabilities experienced by journalists in Indonesia.

Abstract

Public Service Mall (MPP) is a place for providing public services, both goods and services, at one door, one place, the purpose of MPP is to provide fast, easy, and accountable services. MPP in Kabupaten Bandung under the coordination of The Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) involves services from 17 public institution in Kabupaten Bandung. Variations in types of services and variations in consumers require service personnel to always provide excellent service. The purpose of Community Service is to provide training on the basic stages of service excellent as part of increasing customer satisfaction. The method used in this activity is through interviews to determine training needs, excellent service training using two approachs are service attitude and service communication. This activity was attended by 31 participants consisting of front office staff from civil servants, non-PNS and security personnel. The output of this activity was in the form of a training material module. The evaluation results showed that 99,35% of the participants were satisfied with the implementation of the training and hoped that the training could be carried out consistently

Abstract

During the pandemic, the issue of sexual violence against children in Indonesia reached 10,328 cases. One form of media that can be a source of information in Indonesia are news portals. The media should carry out objectivity in publishing news about sexual violence. News pertaining to sexual violence against children has been highlighted by the media; among them are Kompas.com and Tribunnews.com. This study aims to determine the level of factuality and impartiality of news portals in producing news content on sexual violence against children. Researchers use a quantitative approach with a descriptive nature. In this study, researchers looked at each indicator, including the level of truth, relevance, balance, and neutrality, by Westersthal's concept of objectivity. Researchers use a positivistic paradigm and descriptive content analysis research method. The results showed that the level of truth in the news on Tribunnews.com is higher while Kompas.com has not fulfilled the news with 5W + 1H, Kompas.com still has not fulfilled the level of relevance while Tribunnews.com has fulfilled the level of social reality and the audience so that the news is not subjective. At the level of balance, Kompas.com and Tribunnews.com still tend to report the perpetrator's point of view, and Tribunnews.com still uses hyperbolic language in processing news. In assessing factuality and impartiality, Kompas.com and Tribunnews.com still do not meet the objective requirements in producing news of sexual violence against children.
