Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of public relations management in establishing cooperation with the automotive industry to improve the quality of education at SMK Ma'arif 1 Kroya Cilacap. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the Principal, the Head of Public Relations at SMK Ma’arif 1 Kroya, and representatives from the automotive industry involved in the cooperation program. The research results show that public relations management plays an important role in forming and maintaining good relationships between the school and the automotive industry. Through promotional efforts, effective communication, and careful negotiation, public relations management has successfully established mutually beneficial partnerships for both parties. Public relations management at SMK Ma’arif 1 Kroya has successfully created mutually beneficial partnerships with various stakeholders, including the community and companies. This cooperation has brought various benefits, including improving the quality of education for students at SMK Ma'arif 1 Kroya Cilacap. The implementation of cooperation at SMK Ma’arif 1 Kroya, represented by the Head of Public Relations, with automotive industry companies includes MoUs with companies, industry visits, industrial internships, student and teacher apprenticeships, integration of the school curriculum with industry needs, training and certification for teachers, as well as the development of facilities and educational infrastructure that meet the demands of the automotive industry. All these efforts contribute to enhancing the quality of learning and preparing students to enter the workforce. This research concludes that effective public relations management with the automotive industry can be an effective strategy for improving the quality of education at SMK Ma'arif 1 Kroya Cilacap. The practical implication of this research is the importance of the role of public relations management in building and maintaining sustainable relationships with external stakeholders to support the school's mission and vision.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out how Durkheimian theory is applied to the role of schools as social institutions in building shared morality at MTs Ma'arif Nu 1 Jatilawang. Another focus is to find out how schools become a link for the formation of values, norms, rules and patterns of interaction solidarity and morality which become habituation for students, teachers and parents. Apart from that, to find out how Durkheiman's theory will answer the extent to which MTs Manusaja contributes to realizing the pillars of morality in the personalities of teachers, parents and students in their environment. So that good habits, mutual trust, reciprocal relationships and positive social behavior emerge. In this research, the interview method was used to obtain data in accordance with the research focus. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The appropriate method for collecting data is direct observation of students and teachers as well as interviews with the head of the madrasah, student teachers and parents. The results of this research will certainly add to the general benefits of educational institutions, especially Islamic-based educational institutions or general formal institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze organizational management in improving student discipline. This research method uses qualitative where the research is carried out based on literature or literature review and uses a qualitative approach to conduct field research by collecting data by observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this research were students at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. Meanwhile, the object is organizational management in instilling discipline in Darussalam Islamic Boarding School students. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. From this research, it can be seen that organizational management with a future orientation and involving other management functions can improve the discipline of students in Islamic boarding schools. Management of student discipline in Islamic boarding schools requires the implementation of management functions to minimize violations and increase management effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal: firstly an overview of character education, secondly to explain the forms of strategies used by schools in instilling character education values. The research method used in this research is a qualitative type of research, where data collection is carried out through documentation, interviews and observation. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely: collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and concluding. To test the validity of the data, credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests were carried out. The results of the research reveal findings regarding: (1) the description and form of character education at SD Alam Hayuba Wlahar Wetan, this can be seen from the values ​​developed at the school, namely: religious values, discipline, responsibility, honesty, love of the environment, passion reading, and creative. (2) strategies used by schools and teachers in instilling educational character values, namely: role model strategy, foster care methods, enforcement of discipline, habituation activities, as well as integrity and internalization. the importance of every PAI teacher being an actor in character education in schools, manifested in systematic strategies and programs. The instilling of PAI values ​​at Alam Hayuba Elementary School contributes significantly to the formation of student character. Students show improvements in aspects of morals, discipline, responsibility and cooperation. A holistic approach and a supportive environment are key factors in the success of this program.

Abstract

The implementation of technology-based education in schools in Indonesia offers various opportunities to improve the quality of learning and access to education. However, this process also presents complex challenges, especially related to infrastructure gaps, digital literacy, and curriculum adaptation. This study aims to identify challenges and opportunities in the implementation of technology-based education in SMP Islam Andalusia Kebasen using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and document analysis from various sources, including teachers, students, and policy makers. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles include limited access to technological devices, low digital competence among educators and students, and financial constraints. On the other hand, significant opportunities were found in the form of increasing learning flexibility, potential for global collaboration, and the development of more innovative teaching methods. This study concludes that to realize a successful implementation, collaborative efforts are needed between the government, schools, and the community in overcoming challenges and utilizing existing opportunities. Strategic efforts include improving technological media, digital literacy training programs, and developing policies that support the integration of technology in education. This study provides relevant insights to support the transformation of inclusive and sustainable technology-based education in Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kepemimpinan visioner memainkan peran yang signifikan dalam menentukan kemajuan dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran manajemen kepemimpinan visioner dalam pengembangan Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Raudlatul Huda Cilacap sebagai studi kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana kepemimpinan visioner memengaruhi transformasi pendidikan di lembaga tersebut. Metode penelitian melibatkan observasi dan analisis data dari kegiatan pengembangan dan perubahan yang dilakukan di MTs Raudlatul Huda Cilacap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner membawa dampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan, meningkatkan minat masyarakat, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Studi ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya kepemimpinan visioner dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan dapat menjadi referensi bagi lembaga pendidikan lainnya dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan. ABSTRACT Visionary leadership plays a significant role in determining the progress and quality of educational institutions. This article explores the role of visionary leadership management in the development of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Raudlatul Huda Cilacap as a case study. The research aims to understand how visionary leadership influences educational transformation in the institution. The research methodology involves observation and data analysis of development activities and changes implemented in MTs Raudlatul Huda Cilacap. The results indicate that visionary leadership has a positive impact on educational quality, increases community interest, and creates a conducive learning environment. This study provides insights into the importance of visionary leadership in improving education quality and can serve as a reference for other educational institutions in facing future challenges.

Abstract

Pembahasan tentang Desa selalu menarik untuk diulas, khususnya terkait dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat, penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengupas upaya pendampingan desa dengan metode manajemen pembedayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Combine Resource Institution. LSM tersebut senantiasa melakukan pendmpingan ke desa melalui penerapan sistem informasi desa (SID). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan mengambil data melalui aktifitas wawancara secara mendalam dengan salah satu pegiat CRI. Kemudian pengumpulan dokumentasi serta observasi guna memperkuat hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa CRI menggunakan fungsi manajemen dalam melakukan proses pendampingan, dimulai perencanaan melalui kegiatan assessment untuk membuat roadmap kebutuhan pemerintah setempat. Pengorganisasian melalui penyamaan persepsi antar Organisasi Pemerintah Daerah dan melakukan MOU. Pelaksanaan pendampingan melalui seminar, Bimtek, workshop dalam penggunaan SID untuk pendataan secara menyeluruh ditingkat desa. Evaluasi dengan melihat kembali roadmap yang telah disepakati bersama sudah berjalan sejauh mana sekaligus menganalisis faktor penyebab berhasil dan tidak berhasilnya program kemudian dilaporkan kepada pemerintah kabupaten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali peran guru penggerak dalam optimalisasi implementasi kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 1 Purwokerto melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Kurikulum Merdeka telah menjadi pusat perhatian dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia, namun implementasinya di tingkat sekolah menengah atas masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Guru penggerak, sebagai agen utama yang bertanggung jawab atas pengembangan dan implementasi kurikulum di tingkat sekolah, diharapkan dapat memainkan peran krusial dalam menghadapi tantangan ini. Dalam pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap praktik pengajaran guru penggerak di SMAN 1 Purwokerto serta wawancara mendalam dengan mereka. Observasi dilakukan untuk memahami secara langsung bagaimana guru penggerak mengimplementasikan kurikulum Merdeka dalam praktik pengajaran mereka sehari-hari. Wawancara mendalam digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang pemikiran, pengalaman, dan strategi yang digunakan oleh guru penggerak dalam mendukung rekan-rekan guru dalam menghadapi tantangan implementasi kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang peran guru penggerak dalam mendukung implementasi kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 1 Purwokerto. Melalui analisis data observasi dan wawancara, diharapkan akan terungkap kontribusi konkret yang mereka berikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Temuan dari penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan yang lebih efektif di masa mendatang, khususnya dalam konteks implementasi kurikulum yang baru.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of how the implementation of strategic management in order to improve the quality of education in one of the educational institutions, namely in MAN 2 Brebes. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques of interviews with principals, teachers, students, and parents, direct observation of the learning process and interaction in the school environment, and study documentation. The results showed that school principals play a crucial role in formulating visions, developing strategies, and motivating school residents to achieve educational excellence. The implementation of effective strategic management enables MAN 2 Brebes to improve student achievement through responsive curriculum development, periodic monitoring and evaluation, as well as active participation of parents in the education of their children. Analysis of the external and internal environment with SWOT analysis also provides a deep understanding of the factors affecting the effectiveness of strategic management in this school. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the implementation of management strategies in improving the quality of education and can be the basis for the development of sustainable education strategies. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data wawancara dengan kepala madrasah, guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan siswa, serta observasi langsung terhadap proses pembelajaran dan interaksi di lingkungan madrasah, dan dokumenasi studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah memainkan peran krusial dalam merumuskan visi, mengembangkan strategi, dan memotivasi warga madrasah untuk mencapai keunggulan pendidikan. Implementasi manajemen strategis yang efektif memungkinkan MAN 2 Brebes untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa melalui pengembangan kurikulum responsif, monitoring dan evaluasi berkala, serta partisipasi aktif orang tua dalam pendidikan anak-anak mereka. Analisis lingkungan eksternal dan internal dengan analisis SWOT juga memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas manajemen strategis di madrasah ini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting untuk pemahaman tentang implementasi manajemen strategi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, socioeconomic changes have become increasingly complex and rapid. These changes often result in inequality and disparities that affect access to education. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social change and its implications on community education from a global perspective. Adopting a qualitative approach through literature review, this research explores community engagement practices in education, focusing on socioeconomic aspects that influence communities. Data were collected from Google Scholar spanning the years 2005-2024. The findings indicate that the dynamics of socioeconomic changes are a complex phenomenon with wide-ranging and diverse impacts on community education worldwide. These changes encompass not only economic aspects such as GDP growth and unemployment rates but also involve social aspects like family structure, cultural values, and political dynamics. Furthermore, socioeconomic changes are influenced by global factors such as international trade, migration, and technological innovation.
