Abstract

This research explores the integration of technology in Islamic Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam) learning at SDN 1 Kecila. In the digital era, the use of technology in education has become a necessity, including at the elementary level. This integration has the potential to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning by improving concept comprehension, student engagement, and digital skill development. The study aims to identify strategies, benefits, and challenges of technology integration in Islamic Education as well as its practical implications. Constructivist theory suggests that technology can enrich students' interactions with learning materials, while competency-based learning and cooperative learning theories emphasize the development of students' abilities through feedback and collaboration. The results of this study (Odden, 1991, hlm. 76)are expected to provide insights for educational decision-makers in improving the quality of Islamic Education learning in elementary schools. Technology integration is expected to enhance learning quality, student engagement, and material accessibility, as well as support the balanced development of students' spiritual, social, and intellectual competencies.

Abstract

Herbert Blumer is applied in the formation of students' self-identity through symbolic interaction in dance learning at SMA Diponegoro 1 Purwokerto. In addition, this study also wants to know how dance learning can help students face the challenges of their identity development. Third, this study aims to understand how the application of symbolic interaction can improve students' understanding of themselves and their roles in society. Using the symbolic interaction theory of Mead and Blumer, this study analyzes how students form their identities through the interaction and interpretation of symbols in the context of dance learning. Dance is not only a cultural expression, but also a tool for understanding and interpreting cultural symbols. The interview method was chosen as the right step to collect data relevant to the focus of this study, because interviews allow researchers to explore the experiences and in-depth perspectives of students and dance teachers. This study is a descriptive qualitative study, using interviews to collect data from dance teachers and students who have experience in dance learning at SMA Diponegoro 1 Purwokerto. In addition, an analysis of curriculum documents and dance lesson plans was carried out to provide a broader context and ensure the validity of the research findings. Thus, the results of this study are expected to be applied in dance learning in other schools, especially if there are obstacles in the learning process. The results of this study will certainly add general insight to all educational institutions in Indonesia, both at SMA Diponegoro 1 Purwokerto and other schools. This shows that dance learning is not only about technical skills but also about a broader understanding and appreciation of culture, making an important contribution to the formation of students' self-identity and their understanding of their role in society.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Discussions about education and violence will always be a hot topic and long discourse amidst the increasing cases of radicalism. Education is an effort that is carried out consciously and systematically, so that students can develop their potential. Violence that occurs in the world of education is increasing every year. The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) noted that in 2023 there were 1,478 cases of violence against children. Therefore, child-friendly schools are needed to overcome these things. In this study, the approach used by the researcher is a qualitative approach with a field research method (Field Research) so that the entire process of data extraction, presentation, and analysis uses a qualitative descriptive approach and a constructivist perspective. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The purpose of this study is to determine how the child-friendly school program is managed at SMP Negeri 1 Karangreja Purbalingga. The results of this study indicate that the management of the child-friendly school program at SMP Negeri 1 Karangreja Purbalingga is globally carried out through 4 main activity steps, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and the last stage is supervision or evaluation which is held according to the schedule where supervision is carried out every day, once a week and every year, all stages have been carried out sequentially and continuously. ABSTRAK Pembahasan mengenai pendidikan dan kekerasan akan selalu menjadi topik hangat dan diskursus panjang di tengah maraknya kasus radikalisme. Pendidikan adalah suatu upaya yang dilakukan secara sadar dan tersusun, supaya peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensinya. Kekerasan yang terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) mencatat bahwa di tahun 2023 terdapat 1.478 kasus kekerasan terhadap anak. Oleh karena itu sekolah ramah anak sangat di butuhkan untuk mengatasi hal-hal tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan peneliti yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian lapangan (Field Research) sehingga seluruh proses penggalian, penyajian, dan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan perspektif konstruktivis. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen program sekolah ramah anak di SMP Negeri 1 Karangreja Purbalingga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen program sekolah ramah anak di SMP Negeri 1 Karangreja Purbalingga secara global dilakukan melalui 4 langkah kegiatan utama, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan tahap yang terakhir adalah pengawasan atau evaluasi yang diadakan sesuai dengan jadwalnya di mana pengawasan yang dilakukan setiap hari, setiap seminggu sekali dan setiap tahunnya, semua tahapan telah dilakukan secara runtut dan berkesinambungan.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of digitalization to increase financial transparency at Madrasah. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a focus on document analysis and in-depth interviews with TUs and Madrasah Heads. Findings show that digitalization has been significant in increasing financial accountability and transparency, enabling faster and easier access to school financial information. An integrated financial information system enables more efficient management and tighter supervision of the use of school funds. The implication of this research is that digitalization not only optimizes school financial management but also increases the level of trust of stakeholders. This research provides valuable insight for other educational institutions considering implementing technology to increase their financial transparency and accountability. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menginvestigasi implementasi digitalisasi untuk meningkatkan transparansi keuangan di Madrasah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada analisis dokumen dan wawancara mendalam dengan TU dan Kepala Madrasah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi telah signifikan dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas dan transparansi keuangan, memungkinkan akses yang lebih cepat dan mudah terhadap informasi keuangan sekolah. Sistem informasi keuangan terintegrasi memungkinkan pengelolaan yang lebih efisien dan pengawasan yang lebih ketat terhadap penggunaan dana sekolah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa digitalisasi tidak hanya mengoptimalkan pengelolaan keuangan sekolah tetapi juga meningkatkan tingkat kepercayaan dari stakeholders. Penelitian ini memberikan pandangan yang berharga bagi institusi pendidikan lain yang mempertimbangkan penerapan teknologi untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas keuangan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of the affective domain in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMA Ya BAKII 1 Kesugihan Cilacap and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the development of the affective domain. The type of research used is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the development of the affective domain in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning has gone well. This development is carried out with a habituation approach, such as habituation of greetings, praying before and after learning, habituation of duha and duhur prayers in congregation, ziaroh muais, and istighosah. Supporting factors for the development of the affective domain consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors include students' own willingness to do good things, while external factors include a good family, a pesantren-based school environment with habituation and supporting infrastructure, and a good living environment such as pesantren. The inhibiting factors consist of internal factors, such as closed student personalities, low student willingness to learn, and unresponsive students, as well as external factors, such as bad living environment, less harmonious families, and unwise use of technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di MTs Al Hidayah Purwokerto Barat dari sudut pandang guru dan siswa, dengan menggunakan kerangka konseptual Social Learning Theory (SLT). Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap guru mata pelajaran dan siswa, serta observasi kelas. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa mayoritas guru dan siswa mengekspresikan pandangan optimis terhadap fleksibilitas Kurikulum Merdeka yang memungkinkan adaptasi metode pengajaran sesuai kebutuhan siswa, serta pendekatan kontekstual yang meningkatkan relevansi materi dengan kehidupan nyata. Guru terdorong untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendorong berpikir analitis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif melalui pembelajaran observasional dan interaksi sosial dengan rekan-rekan yang sukses dalam menerapkan kurikulum baru ini. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya persepsi netral dan negatif dari sebagian guru dan siswa, serta hambatan seperti kurangnya sumber daya, sarana prasarana, dan pelatihan yang memadai bagi guru. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya dukungan lebih lanjut dari pemerintah dan lembaga pendidikan dalam menyediakan pelatihan, fasilitas, dan pendampingan yang memadai guna mengatasi hambatan tersebut dan memastikan keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Studi ini memberikan wawasan tentang efektivitas Kurikulum Merdeka dalam mendukung pembelajaran di MTs Al Hidayah Purwokerto Barat, serta mengeksplorasi dinamika persepsi guru dan siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor sosial dan lingkungan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Social Learning Theory.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to outline and evaluate the principal's human resource management tactics in order to raise the standard of instruction at Tarbiyatul Athfal Al Faruq Karanglewas. Using a qualitative case study methodology, information was gathered via in-depth interviews, documentation, and parent, teacher, and principal participation in observations. The results show that the principle serves as a strategic partner, mentor, and instructional manager in addition to being an administrator. Key strategies include strategic Human Resources planning, selective recruitment, regular training, supervision, and staff empowerment through open communication and performance appreciation. A culture of quality is cultivated through programs emphasizing spiritual values, discipline, and literacy, such as Qur’anic recitation (tasmi’), Islamic studies, and communal activities like morning assemblies and group prayers. Parents are actively engaged as part of the educational ecosystem through responsive communication and character-based programs. This participatory approach fosters a conducive and synergistic learning environment. The study concludes that transformative leadership, which integrates continuous improvement (Kaizen), collective participation, and a collaborative work culture, significantly enhances the quality of early childhood education. The findings imply that PAUD principals must be equipped not only with administrative competence but also with visionary leadership that empowers all stakeholders (including teachers, staff, and parents) to collaboratively build a sustainable culture of quality.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of alumni in improving the quality of educationat SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ajibarang through the perspective of social capital. The research was conducted using a qualitative case study method, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, directed group discussions (FGDs), direct observation, and documentation analysis. The findings show that the role of alumni includes three main forms: material contributions that include the provision of educational facilities and financial assistance; non-material contributions such as motivation, skills training, and career guidance; as well as structural contributions through involvement in school policy formulation and curriculum development that suits industry needs. This research also reveals that alumni play an important role as a bridge between school and the world of work, so that they are able to narrow the gap between the theory taught in school and practice in the field, while increasing students' readiness to face the world of work. In conclusion, alumni are a form of social capital that has great potential and, if managed in a structured manner through the formation of official alumni organizations, can encourage sustainable improvement of the quality of education and strengthen the school's image in the community.

Abstract

The digital era has fundamentally transformed the paradigm of education. Nowadays, students not only interact with learning materials but also with various digital platforms that offer access to unlimited resources and information. This research aims to analyze the role of social support in enhancing motivation and psychological well-being of students from the perspective of Education in the digital era. The research method employed in this study is a literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Data for this study were gathered from Google Scholar spanning from 2013 to 2024 through a focus on the keywords social aspects, motivation, psychological well-being of students, education, and the digital era. The results of the study indicate that social support is a crucial factor influencing the motivation and psychological well-being of students in the context of education in the digital era. Despite the continuous evolution of technology, genuine human relationships and emotional support remain key pillars in shaping positive learning experiences. Social support emanates from various sources, including peers, family, faculty, and academic communities. The expansion of technology usage enables the preservation of social connections, although it is important to note that the quality of interactions in the virtual world may not always be equivalent to face-to-face interactions.

Abstract

Conventional educational management systems often face limitations in handling student data, curriculum, and other academic processes, leading to difficulties in effectively monitoring and enhancing students' academic performance. With the rapid advancement of information technology, the use of management information systems in educational contexts has become increasingly crucial. This research aims to examine the management and utilization strategies of management information systems in enhancing students' academic performance. The methodology employed in this research is a literature review using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis is utilized to present characteristics, patterns, and trends emerging from data obtained from articles published on Google Scholar between 2007 and 2024. Theme identification is one of the research data analysis techniques. The main themes in the article were identified, focussing on aspects such as information systems, education management, and student academic performance. The study results indicate that the utilization of Management Information Systems (MIS) has demonstrated a significant role in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across various fields, including education. In the educational context, the management of MIS can be a key factor in improving students' academic performance
