Abstract

The learning method is a method used by teachers to deliver material and manage learning activities so that students can learn to achieve the expected learning objectives. The ability of students is one of the considerations for selecting learning methods. Difficulty listening or hearing impairment experienced by students tends to result in difficulty speaking or communicating verbally. This also has a negative impact on the ability to understand the subject matter. This paper is based on a qualitative study of students with hearing difficulties (deaf) in grade IV at SDLB-B in Purwokerto. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The invormants studied were 20 students by practicing the gender balance of 10 girls and 10 boys. Panelitan data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman models, namely Data Reduction, Data Display, and Verification. The results showed that SDLB-B in Purwokerto used the 2013 curriculum, learning was carried out thematically. To get around the inability of deaf students to communicate, hear and have difficulty understanding the subject matter, the teacher chooses various learning methods that aim to make deaf students receive and capture the content of the subject matter correctly and optimally and can improve language competence. Thematic learning in various subjects for deaf grade IV students at SDLB-B Purwokerto uses various general methods that can be used for both general students and students with special needs, namely the lecture method, question and answer method, discussion, drill (exercise), recitation (assignment), and demonstration. In applying these methods the teacher always combines it with speech therapy methods for deaf students such as the SIBI (Indonesian Language Signaling System) method, the lips reading method (reading lips), and the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR).

Abstract

The paper discusses the introduction of hermeneutics, Gadamer's biography, Gadamer's hermeneutics and Quranic exegesis, and examples of interpreters using the Gadamer hermeneutics model. hermeneutics tried to grasp the meaning of the Quranic text. Meaning comes from the German "Meinen" which means "to be in the mind or right." Meanings are produced on the basis of a fusion of horizon or a mixture of the author's horizon of thought, reader, and text. interpretation is a productive act involving the subjectivity of the interpreter and is influenced by the historical reality and the presupposition of the interpreter. Gadamer hermeneutics is widely applied in the way of interpretation of the Qur'an bi al-ra'yi.

Abstract

This article discusses the hermeneutical approach to gender in terms of comparisons from contemporary scholars. Islam is a religion that teaches justice or gender equality. However, the dominance of patriarchal ideology in the interpretation of the Qur'an results in a misogynistic interpretation that is not gender-just. Gender construction places the dominant male in the private sector, namely the family sphere, and the public sector, namely the community and work environment. Allah SWT judges His servants in terms of piety and faith, not from gender, ethnicity, nation, even descent. Contemporary scholars are trying so that the Qur'an can be understood its implied messages correctly and comprehensively, without taking sides with one group, class, more specifically on gender differences. The interpretation of Allah's messages from the Qur'an is sought to develop to be more gender-just. If the Qur'an is understood and interpreted textually only, it will result in a misogynistic interpretation of gender inequality that cannot solve the problems that develop. The implication is that the Qur'an is impressed as an outmoded product, a foreign product, perhaps even abandoned by its loyal followers. This view of gender as seen from hermeneutics has different perspectives but both uphold gender equality. The data sources used in this article are taken from various philosophical literature studies. The result is an equal position between women and men.

Abstract

This article intends to examine and examine the idea of the Islamization of contemporary science, especially in the era of society 0.5 in the view of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. The use of descriptive methods with a philosophical approach is used for this research. By interpreting various sources, since the birth of the idea, the Islamization of knowledge has become an attraction for Muslim scholars. Al-Attas dared to express an opinion contrary to the western term not to deify science (science). This idea is relevant to the current conditions where people's lives and science are supported by technology that the West mainly creates. The science currently developing is much out of Islamic values and brings disaster to humans. Hence, the importance of human awareness is to return to religion and not deify knowledge so that excessive fanaticism arises.
