Abstract

The learning strategies used by moral aqidah teachers in developing character include efforts and training as well as habits. be an example for students by displaying good behavior, good speech, neat dressing, honesty, respect and firmness in all things. Moral belief teachers also play an active role in encouraging students to do good deeds. Moral aqidah teachers also provide direction, guidance and advice to students to always do good and have commendable morals. The methods used by moral aqidah teachers in developing students' character are the method of example or modeling, exemplifying, giving advice, habituation, and punishment. So in this article using qualitative descriptive research, this article will explain the learning strategies of teachers of moral beliefs in developing student character at MTsS Yati Kamang Mudik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas peran dan dampak dakwah digital dalam penyebaran nilai-nilai Islam di era digital. Di tengah kemajuan teknologi informasi, dakwah digital menjadi strategi penting bagi para dai dan organisasi keagamaan untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas. Analisis literatur menyoroti pengaruh positif dakwah digital, seperti peningkatan aksesibilitas informasi keagamaan, penyebarluasan nilai-nilai Islam yang moderat, dan penguatan komunitas Muslim online. Meskipun efektif, strategi dakwah digital juga menghadapi tantangan seperti penyebaran misinformasi, isu keamanan siber, dan polarisasi opini. Pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan metode dakwah tradisional dan digital dianggap efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman dan pengamalan nilai-nilai keislaman di tengah masyarakat global yang semakin terhubung secara digital.

Abstract

This research analyzes Karl Marx's critical views on Islamic education management through the perspective of critical sociology and the basic concepts of Marxism. This study aims to analyze Karl Marx's critical views on Islamic education management through the lens of critical sociology. Karl Marx, a critical theorist and adherent of the historical materialist view, has made major contributions to the understanding of social inequality and structural injustice in society. The research method involves a literature study that examines relevant text and literature sources. The research results show that the Marxist view critically identifies issues of inequality, social exclusion, and the influence of capitalism in the management of Islamic education. Although this research provides a valuable theoretical contribution in understanding Islamic education management from a critical sociological perspective, further research and empirical research is still needed to explore its concrete impact. These findings emphasize the importance of considering structural factors and inequality in efforts to increase inclusiveness and justice in the Islamic education system.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the fact that most mathematics learning activities are boring and uninteresting. Maths is only taught with the lecture method and practice questions. This type of research is a pre-experiment with The Static Group Comparison Design research design. The population in this study were all VII grade students of MTsS TI Candung in the 2023/2024 academic year. Sampling was carried out randomly by first testing the normality, homogeneity and equality of means on population data. The samples in this study were VIII.2 class students as the experimental class and VIII.3 class students as the control class. Learning outcome data were obtained from test questions. Based on the analysis of the test results of understanding of mathematical concepts using t-test, obtained and , because it means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. While using Minitab obtained Pvalueyang means at the real level, Thus it can be concluded that the Comparative Mathematics learning outcomes of students using the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model, better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students through the expository learning model in class VII MTsS TI Candung Lesson Year 2023/2024.

Abstract

The phenomenon of test drives before marriage, which involves sexual intercourse or cohabitation before legal marriage, is increasingly common in modern society. This article explores the phenomenon from an Islamic perspective and analyzes its social, psychological and spiritual impacts. The research used a descriptive approach with qualitative methods to explore Islamic views on test drive relationships before marriage and their impact on individuals and society. Data was obtained from journals, books, and websites as sources. In Islam, sexual intercourse before marriage is considered zina, which contradicts religious teachings that emphasize chastity and honor. The impacts include moral decline, divorce and emotional instability. This research highlights the importance of maintaining religious and moral values in the face of this phenomenon as well as the need for collective efforts from various parties to overcome its negative impacts. Thus, this article proposes solutions through proper religious understanding, social media monitoring by parents, quality sexual education in schools, and government regulation of unsavory content on casual sex.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena keaktifan siswa masih kurang dalam proses pembelajaran terutama pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan dari penerapan metode Brainstorming pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam materi Syaja’ah dan kaitannya dengan permasalahan Degredasi moral di zaman sekarang di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif dengan menggunakan informan kunci yaitu guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan informan pendukungnya adalah siswa kelas XI. Dalam mengumpulkan data penulis menggunakan data observasi dan wawancara untuk menguji keakuratan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat kendala dalam penerapan metode Brainstorming pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, penggunaan metode Brainstorming yang belum bisa diterapkan secara maksimal, dalam pelaksanaannya belum sesuai dengan langkah- langkah dari metode Brainstorming

Abstract

Islamic trade in Indonesia from pre-independence to contemporary times reflects various features, including nationalist missions, religious solidarity and Islamization. The pre-independence period was marked by nationalist and religious sentiments as a response to discriminatory Dutch colonialism. Religious solidarity is used to inspire unity and independence. After independence, the Islamic trade movement focused more on capitalizing religious organizations for the welfare of the people and da'wah. In the 1990s, the spirit of Islamization strengthened, influenced by the difficulty of access to trade resources and the search for Islamic identity amidst foreign domination. The BMT Movement, Islamic Banks, and Islamic philanthropic institutions responded to this phenomenon, prioritizing empowerment and community education. The phenomenon of the Indonesian trade movement is related to socio-political factors, such as the Dutch East Indies political system and the strength of non-indigenous trade. Islamic trade movements can be classified into two types: the pre-independence period, characterized by religious nationalism in business competition with non-indigenous groups; and post-independence, involving the consolidation of religious groups such as Muhammadiyah and NU, as well as the establishment of BMT and ZISWAF institutions. Islamic trade routes in the archipelago in the past included coastal areas, especially via sea routes which influenced the archipelago as an international trade center. The research method used is a qualitative Library Research approach with a historical-descriptive method. The research results show that the Islamic trade movement is developing in line with social and political dynamics in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research discusses the important role of Student Organizations (ORMAWA) in developing the self, character and knowledge of students in higher education, highlighting the urgency of Ormawa based on education law. The focus is on the concept of organizational commitment, identifying three forms of student engagement attitudes. Student interests as the main driver of participation are analyzed by considering factors such as personal interest, self-development and social contribution. This article also examines Ormawa challenges, such as lack of participation and restrictive campus policies, which have a serious impact on organizational resources and atmosphere. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data triangulation, with analysis of organizational paradigms, sustainability strategies, and solutions to identified problems. Recommendations for adaptive strategies in the contemporary era, including the use of technology, focus on community involvement, improving program quality, effective promotion and branding, innovation in leadership, and external partnerships are outlined. It is hoped that this article can provide in-depth insight into the role and challenges of Ormawa and become a basis for developing sustainability strategies in accordance with dynamics

Abstract

This article discusses the challenges in learning Arabic at the Alma'arif Islamic Boarding School, especially regarding the lack of student motivation. Arabic is considered important in the context of understanding the Koran and Hadith, as well as an integral part of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Despite this, many students face difficulties in motivating themselves to learn Arabic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a focus on student motivation in learning Arabic. The research results show that student motivation varies, influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors, as well as internal and external conditions. Students with high motivation show high enthusiasm and involvement, while students with low motivation tend to lack focus and do not complete assignments on time. Analysis causes a lack of student motivation in identifying several factors, including monotonous teaching methods, lack of relevance of material, conditions of facilities and learning environment that are not conducive, as well as lack of support and understanding from the teacher. Apart from that, the absence of awards and recognition for student achievements is also considered a factor in reducing motivation.

Abstract

This service aims to determine the role of caregivers at the Mande Kanduang Pakan Sinayan Orphanage and foster the social behavior of foster children. The target object of this service is the head of the Mande Kanduang orphanage as well as the caretaker of the orphanage, and the children at the Mande Kanduang orphanage and their foster siblings.  The results of the service show that the orphanage administrators are considered as a family for each orphanage child where the orphanage administrators and caregivers have a function as a place to fulfill love, fulfill physical needs, provide education and provide a view of life for the children as well as a place to instill values ​​and norms that apply in society. Caregivers try to act by providing rules in the orphanage to change the behavior of foster children for the better. And caregivers have an important role in fostering social behavior which is always shown by every child at the Mande Kanduang orphanage both among themselves and with the surrounding community.
