Abstract

This research aims to overcome the problem of teacher-centred learning that causes students to be less active and unmotivated in learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. The method used was Quasi Experiment with The Static Group Comparison Randomised Control Group Only Design, which involved 31 students in the experimental class and 35 students in the control class. The learning method applied to the experimental class was Mind Mapping. Data regarding students‘ independence and interest in learning were collected through questionnaires and analysed using the MANOVA test with the help of SPSS version 22. The results showed that the Mind Mapping method had a significant effect on students’ critical thinking skills and learning outcomes, with a significance value <0.05. The F_count value (35.489) is also greater than F_table (3.285), which confirms the positive influence of the method on improving learning quality. Further research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of Mind Mapping in other subjects and at different levels of education, to get a more comprehensive picture of the benefits of this method in the world of education ____________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah pembelajaran berpusat pada guru yang menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan tidak termotivasi dalam belajar, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kuasi Eksperimen dengan desain The Static Group Comparison Randomized Control Group Only Design, yang melibatkan 31 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa di kelas kontrol. Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen adalah Mind Mapping. Data mengenai kemandirian dan minat belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan uji MANOVA dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Mind Mapping memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Nilai F_hitung (35,489) juga lebih besar dari F_tabel (3,285), yang mengonfirmasi pengaruh positif metode tersebut terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian lanjutan direkomendasikan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas Mind Mapping pada mata pelajaran lainnya dan pada jenjang pendidikan yang berbeda, untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih komprehensif mengenai manfaat metode ini dalam dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

The background of this research is because students are still lacking in the learning process, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research is to find out how successful the implementation of the Brainstorming method is in Islamic Religious Education subject matter Syaja'ah and its relation to the problem of moral degradation today in class XI SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. This research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive type approach using key informants, namely Islamic Religious Education subject teachers and supporting informants were class X students. In collecting data the authors used observation and interview data to test the accuracy of the data. Based on the results of the study there are obstacles in the application of the Brainstorming method to learning Islamic Religious Education, the use of the Brainstorming method cannot be applied optimally, in practice it is not in accordance with the steps of the Brainstorming method

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep profesionalisme guru dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Undang-Undang No. 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen, serta mengintegrasikan kedua pendekatan tersebut untuk membangun generasi rabbani. Dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan, penelitian ini menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang relevan, seperti QS. Al-Baqarah: 2, QS. Al-Mujadilah: 11, dan QS. Luqman: 12-19, serta ketentuan dalam UU No. 14 Tahun 2005. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru dalam Al-Qur'an mencakup kompetensi ilmiah, khuluqiyah, dan jismiyah yang meliputi kecakapan akademik, keteladanan moral, dan kesehatan fisik. Sementara itu, UU No. 14 Tahun 2005 menekankan kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an dengan kerangka regulasi dalam UU No. 14 Tahun 2005 menghasilkan paradigma pendidikan yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada pencapaian akademik tetapi juga pembentukan karakter yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sinergi antara pendekatan normatif religius dan kerangka hukum formal untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dan menghasilkan generasi yang cerdas, berakhlak mulia, dan berorientasi spiritual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemerosotan moral di dunia pendidikan, termasuk perilaku tidak etis oknum guru dan kurangnya pemahaman tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai pendidik. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan konsep guru ideal menurut Syekh Az-Zarnuji serta relevansinya dalam pendidikan Islam saat ini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis data melalui pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru ideal menurut Az-Zarnuji memiliki enam karakteristik: 1) alim, 2) wara’, 3) dewasa, 4) berwibawa, 5) murah hati, dan 6) penyabar serta penuh kasih sayang. Konsep ini relevan dalam berbagai aspek pendidikan, seperti pembentukan karakter siswa, peran guru sebagai pembimbing di era modern, serta pentingnya moral dan etika dalam proses belajar. Prinsip-prinsip ini juga menekankan keseimbangan antara penguasaan ilmu dan pembentukan karakter, serta kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsep guru ideal Az-Zarnuji tetap relevan untuk membangun paradigma pendidikan Islam yang responsif terhadap tantangan zaman. Implikasinya, prinsip-prinsip ini dapat menjadi landasan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam yang holistik, mencakup aspek intelektual, moral, dan spiritual, serta menjadikan guru sebagai teladan.

Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental research with a one group pre-test and post-test research design. The population in this study was 116 students and a research sample of 8 people was taken, using a purposive sampling technique, sampling based on considerations of student learning boredom. The technique for collecting data in this research is the Likert scale. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this research is the Wilcoxon signed rank test method with the help of Statistical Product And Service Solutions (SPSS) version 22. The research results are from the Wilcoxon (Z) value which shows that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test. From the results of the Wilcoxon test calculation, the asymp sig value (0.012) is obtained, which means it is smaller than <a (a=0.05), which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the results of the Wilcoxon test calculations, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' interest in learning at SMP N 3 Lubuk Suhuing through group tutoring services. Based on the research results, the results of interest in learning before treatment (Pretest) were obtained, namely a mean of 179.12, which is classified as in the medium category. Meanwhile, after the treatment (Posttest), the mean was 201.25, which is classified as high. Pretest and Posttest hypothesis testing, if converted to the Z value then the value is -2.521, the sig or p-value is 0.012 then Ha is accepted Ho is rejected, so there is a difference in students' interest in learning before and after being given treatment, namely group guidance services. This means that group guidance services have an influence on students' interest in learning at SMP N 3 Lubuk Sikaping. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test dan post-test. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 116 siswa dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 8 orang diambil, dengan teknik purposive sampling, pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan dari kejenuhan belajar siswa. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu skala likert. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu  metode Wilcoxon signed rank test dengan bantuan Statistical Product And Service Solutions (SPSS) versi 22. Hasil penelitian dari nilai Wilcoxon (Z) yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara pre-test dan post-test. Dari hasil perhitungan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai asymp sig (0,012), yang artinya lebih kecil < a (a=0,05)  yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dari hasil perhitungan uji Wilcoxon dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat belajar siswa di SMP N 3 Lubuk Sikaping melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok. Beradsarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil minat belajar sebelum perlakuan (Pretest) yaitu mean 179.12 ini tergolong pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan setalah dilakukan perlakuan (Posttest) meannya menjadi 201.25 ini tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Uji hipotesis Pretest dan Posttest, apabila dikonversikan ke nilai Z maka besarnya -2.521, nilai sig atau p-value sebesar 0,012 maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak, sehingga ada perbedaan minat belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan yaitu layanan bimbingan kelompok. Artinya layanan bimbingan kelompok berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa SMP N 3 Lubuk Sikaping.

Abstract

Based on observations with the PAI teacher Class XI IPS 3 at SMA NEGERI 4 BUKITTINGGI CITY, it shows that the PAI learning outcomes of students are low. The reason for this is that students are less interested and think PAI is learning to memorize. Students are only invited to imagine without any real examples and evidence of related material. PAI learning must apply creative, active, and innovative learning models so that students are actively involved in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the 5E Learning Cycle Model on PAI Learning Outcomes at SMA 4 Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. This research is a quantitative research type Experimental Quansy. The subjects of this research are students of class XI IPS 3. The research sample is Class XI IPS 4 as an Experimental class with Learning Cycle 5E Learning Model, class XI IPS 3 as a control class. The data analysis technique used the Normality Test with the Shapiro Whilk test, and the Homogeneity Test with the. Followed by Hypothesis Testing with Post-Test Group t-test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the 5E Learning Cycle model in PAI subjects are quite good. The results of the posttest student learning are in the high category with an average value of 84.24 and the influence of the use of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model in PAI subjects on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi. This has been proven based on the results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Simple Test, which obtained a significant value of student learning outcomes, namely 0.000 <0.05.abstract should end with a comment about the importance of the result or a brief conclusion. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas dua model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dan Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 8 Agam. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental dan faktorial 2x2, penelitian ini melibatkan 58 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok: 29 siswa untuk Think Pair Share dan 29 siswa untuk Problem Based Learning. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes essay dan dianalisis dengan uji t untuk menentukan perbedaan antara kedua kelompok, dengan mempertimbangkan kemampuan awal siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dibandingkan Think Pair Share, terutama untuk siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi (P = 0,048). Namun, tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan pada siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah (P = 0,91). Secara keseluruhan, siswa dalam kelompok Problem Based Learning memiliki skor rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis yang lebih tinggi (56,38) dibandingkan dengan siswa dalam kelompok Think Pair Share (45,17), dengan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua model (P = 0,03).

Abstract

Education plays an important role in the development of human resources, promoting social capabilities, and the development of individuals linking them to society and the environment. Islamic education, in particular, aims to instil spiritual and ethical values and develop learners' scientific knowledge.  This study explored the effect of the Ibrah Mauidzah Qur'anic Storytelling Method on students' spiritual intelligence and learning activities at MTsN 1 Agam. The correlational quantitative research method was used to test the research hypothesis. the type of research used is correlational. It is a study that looks for the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable with a sample of 35 students obtained using the accental sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that the Ibrah Mauidzah Method has a significant effect on increasing students' spiritual intelligence and learning activities. The tcount values for spiritual intelligence and learning activity were 3.076 and 3.779 respectively, both greater than the ttable of 2.034, with a p-value <0.05. These findings indicate that the method is effective in improving understanding and appreciation of religious values, as well as increasing student engagement in the learning process. This research confirms the importance of integrating moral and spiritual approaches in education to achieve a balance of students' intellectual and spiritual development.

Abstract

This article examines the revitalization of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi's thought in the context of Islamic education in the 21st century, focusing on the development of new strategies for the Islamization of knowledge. Amid the challenges of globalization, technological advancements, and rapid social changes, Islamic education faces various issues that require innovative approaches. This study aims to analyze key concepts in Al-Faruqi's thought, including the importance of integrating Islamic values into curricula and teaching methodologies. Through a qualitative approach, the article also explores models of learning that can be applied in higher education institutions to create a relevant and responsive learning environment. The findings indicate that implementing Al-Faruqi's revitalization strategies can not only enhance the quality of Islamic education but also equip students with the skills and values necessary to face global challenges. Thus, Al-Faruqi's thought remains a vital foundation for the progressive and adaptive development of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine diabetes mellitus from an Islamic spiritual perspective, as well as how the concept of a harmonious family and the teachings of the Qur'an can be implemented as part of healing and prevention efforts. This study uses a qualitative method based on libraries by examining primary and secondary sources in the form of the Qur'an, hadith, health literature, and the thoughts of scholars. The results of the study indicate that diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by increased blood glucose levels due to insulin disorders. From an Islamic perspective, one of the causes of this disease is excessive stress, an unbalanced diet, and a lack of self-control, all of which are forms of the physical and spiritual world. The Qur'an provides a solution through a spiritual approach such as dhikr, fasting, and honey consumption. In the context of Islamic law, maintaining health is part of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, especially in maintaining the soul (ḥifẓ al-nafs) and maintaining religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), because a healthy body is needed to carry out worship perfectly. Therefore, efforts to cure and prevent diabetes through a spiritual approach are not only medical and psychological, but also a sharia obligation that has worship value. This study confirms that a holistic approach between medical, spiritual, and Islamic law can provide a positive contribution in dealing with chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus.
