Abstract

Prenatal education is an important aspect in preparing pregnant women holistically to face the process of pregnancy and childbirth. This study aims to examine the integration of gentle yoga with Islamic spiritual values as an approach in Islamic prenatal education. Gentle yoga, with a focus on gentle physical exercise, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation, offers various benefits for the physical and emotional health of pregnant women. On the other hand, Islamic spiritual values emphasize the importance of maintaining physical and mental health and getting closer to Allah SWT. This study used a qualitative method with a literature study approach and in-depth interviews with pregnant women and Islamic scholars. Data were analyzed to understand the views and practices related to the integration of gentle yoga and spiritual education in the context of pregnancy. The results showed that gentle yoga integrated with Islamic spiritual values can improve the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of pregnant women. This practice helps pregnant women feel calm, patient, and close to Allah SWT, as well as strengthen gratitude and inner peace. The conclusion of this study confirms that Islamic prenatal education that combines gentle yoga and Islamic spiritual values offers an effective holistic approach to preparing pregnant women. The implementation of such prenatal education can provide comprehensive support for pregnant women, both physically, mentally, and spiritually. This study provides a significant contribution to the development of a prenatal education approach that is in accordance with Islamic teachings and beneficial for the health of pregnant women.

Abstract

This study investigates a comprehensive approach to strengthening character education by integrating governance, Islamic values, and school culture in primary education. Conducted over one year in nine public elementary schools in West Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia, this study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative descriptive and descriptive quantitative designs. Qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, while quantitative data were obtained via questionnaires to evaluate the implementation of governance programs in character education. The study involved nine principals and 135 teachers as participants, with students observed during program implementation. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis for qualitative data, identifying recurring themes and patterns related to governance and school culture. Descriptive statistics, including scoring and average calculations, were used to assess the implementation of governance programs for quantitative data. The findings reveal that well-structured governance, characterized by clear policies and coherent program designs, is pivotal in fostering a school culture conducive to character development. The integration of Islamic values, including Shiddiq (truthfulness), Amanah (trustworthiness), Tabligh (effective communication), and Fathonah (wisdom), significantly enhances these efforts. Active community engagement and continuous evaluation were also identified as critical factors. This study underscores the necessity of a holistic governance framework that involves all stakeholders, providing actionable insights to enhance character education in elementary schools and develop students who excel academically while upholding strong moral integrity.

Abstract

Pendidikan berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter manusia, melalui pendidikan karakter dapat membentuk sumber daya yang tidak hanya cerdas tetapi juga berperilaku baik. Sebab karakter tercermin dalam perilaku setiap individu. Salah satu karakter yang ditanamkan dalam pendidikan khususnya di Indonesia adalah karakter religius. Semantara dalam konteks global isu lingkungan semakin mendesak dan membutuhkan perhatian khusus, oleh karena itu penting untuk menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan. Lembaga pendidikan berbsis pesantren berpotensi besar untuk mengintegrasikan kedua karakter tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana proses pendidikan di sekolah berbasis pesantren membangun karakter religius dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review. Teknik analisis data dalam systematic literature review yang digunakan yaitu meta sintesis dan meta analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proses pembentukan karakter religious dan peduli lingkungan di sekolah berbasis pesantren dilakukan melalui metode (1) Penerapan kurikulum lingkungan hidup yang mengacu pada eco pesantren (2) Penerapan kurikulum lingkungan hidup yang diintegrasikan dengan nilai religious (3) penerapan visi-misi yang mengacu pada pembentukan karakter religious dan peduli lingkungan (4) Pembelajaran fiqih lingkungan (5) Metode keteladanan dan pembiasaan, dan (6) Praktik pengelolaan sampah yang sesuai.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bamainan masyarakat Banjar melakukan penanaman karakter disiplin dengan menamakan pembentukan, hasil dari temuan penelitian tentang proses penanaman karakter disiplin anak usia dini melalui metode pembiasaan adalah: (1) guru membiasakan anak untuk datang tepat waktu; (2) guru membiasakan anak untuk mengembalikan barang ke tempat semula; (3) guru membiasakan anak untuk membereskan mainan setelah bermain di dalam kelas; (4) guru membiasakan anak untuk bersabar dan tertib dalam menunggu giliran mencuci tangan; dan (5) guru membiasakan anak untuk mengantri ketika ingin ke kamar mandi. Pembiasaan yang dilakukan  tidak hanya pembiasaan melalui ucapan atau kata motivasi saja, namun pembiasaan melalui perilaku juga dilakukan di masyarakat Banjar, perilaku yang ditunjukkan oleh anak setelah mendapatkan pembiasaan dari guru yaitu: (1) anak datang tepat waktu, akan tetapi ada beberapa anak yang belum bisa datang tepat waktu, hal ini mengacu pada jumlah anak yang terlambat setiap hari mengalami naik turun; (2) anak mengembalikan barang yang telah digunakan pada tempatnya, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kesadaran anak mengembalikan barang yang telah digunakan pada tempatnya tanpa diminta oleh guru, baik itu mainan ataupun alat tulis; (3) tertib dalam menunggu giliran, hal ini di tunjukkan dengan kesadaran anak berbaris di belakang temanya ketika ingin mencuci tangan tanpa didampingi oleh guru. Faktor pendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin di masyarakat Banjar yaitu adanya contoh dari guru, dan konsistensi yang dilakukan guru. Faktor yang menghambat pembentukan karakter disiplin di masyarakat Banjar yaitu ada beberapa orang tua yang tidak peduli dengan perkembangan anaknya, dan tidak adanya kerja sama antara orang tua dan sekolah, dan kematangan usia anak juga mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter disiplin anak usia dini di masyarakat Banjar.

Abstract

Students' academic abilities are not only influenced by students' innate abilities but are also influenced by the learning environment created by teachers. This research aims to test the validity of the teacher interpersonal behavior questionnaire designed by researchers and determine the role of each teacher's interpersonal components on cognitive and affective development and student morale. This research uses factorial design analysis to look at the role of teachers' interpersonal skills on students' cognitive, affective, and moral abilities. The participants involved in this research were 550 junior high school students. Data was collected using questionnaires to assess teachers' interpersonal skills, cognitive self-report, affective, and student moral assessment scales. Data analysis uses multiple regression and correlation analysis to see the correlation between these variables. The research results show that students' perceptions of teachers' interpersonal skills significantly correlate with learning outcomes in students' cognitive, affective, and moral domains. Apart from that, the questionnaire scale designed by the researcher meets the validity criteria because the questionnaire scale can explain what scales are positive and negative predictors of student learning outcomes in each domain. This research implies that teachers must display positive interpersonal behavior during the learning process or interaction with the class so that the learning process is more effective.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Fiqh practical learning in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Putra. The research aims to investigate the design, supporting facilities, execution, and outcomes of Fiqh practical sessions, focusing on topics such as funeral rites. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving teachers, administrators, and students. Findings indicate that the practical learning design integrates methods such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), which bridge theory and real-life application. Resources like Safinatunnajah and Fathul Qorib serve as primary references, offering comprehensive theoretical support. The school facilitates practical sessions using mannequins and other tools, though challenges like inadequate facilities and the need for teacher adaptation persist. Students actively participated in learning, showcasing enthusiasm and demonstrating improved understanding of Fiqh practices. However, issues such as discipline and varying levels of student seriousness were noted. Despite these challenges, practical learning has proven effective in enhancing students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies, making it a valuable pedagogical approach for character-building and religious education.

Abstract

This research explores how the pedagogical orientation of the 21st century and its implications for IRE learning. The method used in this research is the literature study method. The results of this study reveal that the 21st century brings considerable changes in various aspects of life, including education. The main characteristic of this century is the rapid advancement of technology. These technological advances affect the way of learning, teaching, as well as the way of interacting in education. 21st-century learning emphasizes the achievement of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity skills (4Cs), as well as information literacy, technology, and life skills. In terms of pedagogical skills, it has shifted from traditional teacher-centered pedagogy to constructivist, learner-centered pedagogy. This pedagogical shift allows learners to actively build knowledge and skills through experience and technology. Learning strategies or methods that can be used in 21st-century learning include flipped classroom, experiential learning, problem-based learning, reflective learning, project-based learning, and inquiry learning. In the learning process, the teacher has an important role not as the only source of material but as a facilitator who creates an effective learning environment. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning, the relevance of 21st-century learning is applied through technology integration, emphasis on the achievement of 21st-century skills, the use of appropriate strategies, and a maximum evaluation process in accordance with the learning model used.

Abstract

Abstract The main issue in this research is the lack of understanding and deep habituation of essential character values. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the character of mutual cooperation in kindergarten students in Bandung City, Indonesia. The methodology of this research uses quantitative methods and quasi-experimental techniques. The research design adopted is the non-equivalent pretest-posttest Post-test Control Group Design. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire given to the students' parents. This questionnaire measures the components of mutual cooperation. A total of 26 respondents from School A and 18 respondents from School B participated in this study. The analysis results show that the character of mutual cooperation is already possessed by students in both schools. The average score for mutual cooperation is 1.77 (SD = 1.107) in School A and 1.50 (SD = 0.786) in School B. However, these values need to be improved. This research recommends the use of the traditional Papancakan game to strengthen the character of mutual cooperation. The integration of local cultural wisdom into the early childhood education curriculum is very important for the development of children's character. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi karakter gotong royong pada siswa TK di Kota Bandung, Indonesia. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang diadopsi adalah Non-equivalent Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert yang diberikan kepada orang tua siswa.  Kuesioner ini mengukur komponen gotong royong. Sebanyak 26 responden dari Sekolah A dan 18 responden dari Sekolah B berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa karakter gotong royong sudah dimiliki oleh siswa di kedua sekolah. Skor rata-rata untuk gotong royong, skor rata-rata adalah 1.77 (SD = 1.107) di Sekolah A dan 1.50 (SD = 0.786) di Sekolah B. Namun, nilai-nilai tersebut perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan permainan tradisional Papancakan untuk memperkuat karakter gotong royong. Integrasi kearifan budaya lokal dalam kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini sangat penting untuk perkembangan karakter anak. Abstract

The realization of students who have the Pancasila Student Profile is the goal of the current government. The rise of the three big sins of education, intolerance, and lack of discipline in the environment of elementary school students is a threat to the disintegration of basic education from within. The government is trying to present Pancasila Student Profile learning through various learning media, one of which is through the open book of PAI and Budi Pekerti. The novelty of this research is that it tries to find the values of the Pancasila student profile in PAI and character education textbooks. The purpose of this study is to examine the content of the Pancasila student profile in PAI textbooks used in high schools. This research method uses a qualitative design of literature study. The data sources of this study are divided into two categories: primary and secondary. Primary data sources come from the triangulation process of high school PAI student books, high school PAI teacher books, and regulatory documents regarding PAI learning in high school. While secondary data sources come from several relevant journals. The collected data were then analyzed in accordance with the stages of content analysis. The findings of this study indicate that Pancasila student profiles in PAI textbooks in high school have the most information, especially the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character. The values of each Pancasila student profile are explicitly and implicitly stated in each chapter of the PAI textbook. This study emphasizes that Islamic Religious Education, as one of the subjects mandated by the government, encourages the birth of students who have Pancasila student profiles. The implication of this research suggests that in the future teachers can find out the content of the Pancasila student profile in Islamic Education textbooks so that they can teach the content of the Pancasila student profile optimally

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis nilai dakwah dan toleransi beragama pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis UPI. Nilai-nilai dakwah dan toleransi beragama merupakan aspek penting dalam membangun kerukunan dan keharmonisan di lingkungan masyarakat, termasuk dalam kehidupan kampus yang plural. Dakwah dan toleransi, yang mencakup keikhlasan, kebijaksanaan, dan penghormatan terhadap perbedaan, menjadi pilar penting dalam membangun harmoni sosial di masyarakat majemuk. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap mahasiswa sebagai sumber data. Hasil menunjukkan mahasiswa memiliki kesadaran tinggi terhadap pentingnya toleransi, tercermin dalam interaksi sosial yang inklusif dan menghargai keberagaman. Kesimpulan menekankan peran pendidikan tinggi dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa yang toleran dan moderat, serta memperkuat integrasi nilai-nilai dakwah dalam kehidupan kampus.
