Abstract

Perilaku ekstrem dalam beragama yang kerap terjadi di lingkungan persekolahan di Indonesia mengundang perhatian para peneliti untuk melakukan kajian terhadap implementasi pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Hal ini mengingat PAI berkedudukan sebagai salah satu variabel pembentukan karakter di Indonesia. Sekaitan dengan hal itu, sejumlah penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan belum adanya penelitian yang mampu menampilkan informasi utuh tentang implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam komponen-komponen utama pembelajaran PAI. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini berupaya untuk memotret implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam tiga komponen pokok pembelajran, yakni meliputi komponen materi, metode dan media, serta evaluasi pembelajaran. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi yang digali dengan teknik studi dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan inferensi. Penelitian ini menemukan tiga hal esensial. Pertama, nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam komponen pembelajaran PAI di jenjang SMP sebagian besar telah terimplementasikan, namun sebarannya belum merata. Kedua, penggunaan metode dan media pembelajaran dalam bahan ajar berupa buku panduan guru PAI di jenjang SMP sifatnya hanya sebagai opsi dan alternatif yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh guru PAI dalam kegiatan pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Ketiga, nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dapat diukur implementasinya melalui berbagai instrumen yang telah tersedia dalam buku panduan guru PAI serta buku teks siswa mata pelajaran PAI jenjang SMP.

Abstract

Value education implemented in the form of student character education is an effort to instill noble values. Student involvement in organizational activities such as student activities units (UKM) aims to shape the character of achievement. This study aims to reveal the driving force for students to join UKM. In turn, activities in UKM make education valuable for the formation of student character based on the value of achievement. As the research method, a qualitative research approach was chosen through the case study method at UKM FKIP Mengajar Lambung Mangkurat University. The result of the study illustrates that students are encouraged to participate in activities because of the need for achievement, power or leadership, and social relationships or interactions with other people and groups. This drive makes the student’s character stronger and can become their provision as agents of change.

Abstract

Plagiarism remains a significant challenge in academic writing, especially in higher education contexts where scholarly integrity is paramount. This study aims to analyze the experiences of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) lecturers as researchers and authors in developing anti-plagiarism awareness and ethical writing practices. Drawing upon key factors related to plagiarism identified in prior literature, this study explores participants’ character-based awareness and perceptions of plagiarism. A qualitative research design was employed, involving purposive sampling and data collection through artifact analysis and semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal that participants demonstrate varying levels of understanding and internalization of anti-plagiarism values shaped by personal character, institutional support, and academic norms. These insights offer practical recommendations for fostering academic integrity and emphasize the role of character education in developing ethically responsible scholars. The study contributes to the discourse on plagiarism prevention by highlighting the intersection between character formation and scholarly writing in religious education settings.

Abstract

The main issue in this research is the lack of understanding and deep habituation of essential character values. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the character of mutual cooperation in kindergarten students in Bandung City, Indonesia. The methodology of this research uses quantitative methods and quasi-experimental techniques. The research design adopted is the non-equivalent pretest-posttest Post-test Control Group Design. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire given to the students' parents. This questionnaire measures the components of mutual cooperation. A total of 26 respondents from School A and 18 respondents from School B participated in this study. The analysis results show that the character of mutual cooperation is already possessed by students in both schools. The average score for mutual cooperation is 1.77 (SD = 1.107) in School A and 1.50 (SD = 0.786) in School B. However, these values need to be improved. This research recommends the use of the traditional Papancakan game to strengthen the character of mutual cooperation. The integration of local cultural wisdom into the early childhood education curriculum is very important for the development of children's character.

Abstract

This study investigates strategies for fostering discipline in early childhood within the Banjar community by integrating traditional games (bamainan) as a cultural medium. The research highlights the habituation method as a key approach, whereby teachers establish routines such as arriving on time, tidying up after play, queuing for turns, and maintaining classroom order. This process is enhanced through motivational storytelling, consistent teacher modeling, and the moral guidance of acceptable behavior, contributing to the holistic development of discipline in young learners.The methodology employed a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on cultural practices in Banjar society. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation to explore how discipline strategies are implemented in early childhood education settings. The analysis involved multiple stages: data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study also examined supporting and inhibiting factors influencing the development of discipline, such as teacher consistency, parental collaboration, and the child’s developmental readiness.The findings reveal that discipline-building in early childhood is deeply rooted in the cultural values of the Banjar community. Teachers play a pivotal role as models, demonstrating behaviors and engaging in active participation during activities to instill good habits. Supporting factors include the synergy between teachers and parents, while challenges arise from inconsistent parental involvement and the varying developmental stages of children. This research underscores the importance of culturally contextualized methods in nurturing character and discipline in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of fitrah as a foundation in Sekolah Fitrah to strengthen Islamic values such as mahabbah or love, mujahadah or perseverance, and sa'adah or happiness. This study is important because of the urgency related to the general issue of declining motivation in the younger generation. This study uses a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods. Data were collected through direct observation of learning activities and interviews with the principal, curriculum team and teachers. The results of the study indicate that Fitrah-based education emphasizes the learning process that is not only seen as a task but also as a useful experience and produces love, perseverance, and happiness. Researchers focus on emphasizing the innate nature or nature of students and developing student motivation in various dimensions such as spiritual, intellectual, physical and others. This study has implications related to appropriate educational strategies to overcome general problems related to demotivation, in this case the researcher focuses on education in non-formal institutions as an alternative solution to the implementation of learning. Researchers realize that this study focuses on a limited research location, therefore recommendations for further research are to expand the context or location of the study and analyze more deeply, especially from the psychological aspect.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the Co-curricular role of the Islamic Education (PAI) Tutorial Program in strengthening the moderate character of students at public universities from the perspective of Emile Durkheim's collective social theory. A qualitative approach and case study method were chosen to investigate information from participants through documentation, interviews and observation. The data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that within a collective social framework, the PAI Tutorial Program policy is part of social responsibility that is rolled out rationally and strategically as a control effort carried out by the university by considering facts of religious understanding and behavior, as well as the phenomenon of radicalism. To strengthen the moderate character of students, this program is carried out consistently in objectives, materials, and activity units so as to support social functions through explanation and sharing of religious knowledge, role models, discipline, attitudes and open views, mutual respect and appreciation for differences of opinion, the attitude of accepting or rejecting views is based on strong arguments, and the strengthening of adab in the era of globalization. Meanwhile, to strengthen these social responsibilities and functions, this program fulfills two moral elements, namely being binding with the application of strict discipline.       Keywords:  Moderat Character, Co-curricular, Strengthening the Moderate Character

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Islamic values contained in the traditions of the people of Kampung Adat Dukuh Dalam in Cikelet District, Garut Regency. This study is important because the traditions of indigenous peoples are often considered mere cultural heritage, whereas in the context of Kampung Adat Dukuh Dalam, these traditions are a direct reflection of the Islamic value system integrated in social and spiritual life. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, this research examines the history of Kampung Adat Dukuh Dalam, the variety of traditions that have developed, and the Islamic values contained in the traditions as a guide to life. The results show that the people of Kampung Adat Dukuh Dalam live within the framework of customs sourced from the teachings of Islam brought by Sheikh Abdul Jalil. Islamic values are reflected in the form of daily, monthly, and annual traditions that are full of aqidah, worship, and moral values. In the midst of the swift flow of modernization and external influences, the community is still able to maintain its cultural identity by filtering external influences based on the principles of Islamic teachings. They reject elements that contradict the Shari'ah, and adopt those that are in line through the preservation of traditions, faith-based non-formal education, and the strengthening of communities based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study explores the utilization of the school mosque as a strategic center for fostering students' religiosity and character development at SMAN 12 Bandung. The research aims to examine the role of the mosque not merely as a place of worship, but as an educational and social space that contributes to students’ moral formation and spiritual growth. A qualitative approach with a case study method was adopted, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation as the primary data collection techniques. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the school mosque plays a multifaceted role in promoting religious habituation through activities such as congregational prayers, Islamic study sessions, Duha prayer programs, mentoring, and community service. These activities enhance students' spiritual awareness, responsibility, discipline, and empathy. The integration of mosque-based programs into the broader school curriculum aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum supports a holistic educational model that balances intellectual and moral development. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of optimal mosque management involving collaboration among teachers, students, and administrators. The school mosque serves as a culturally embedded space that strengthens students’ identity through faith-based character education. This research contributes to the discourse on faith-integrated education and demonstrates the potential of school mosques to produce not only academically proficient but also spiritually grounded and ethically responsible individuals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali pandangan mufasir dalam Q.S. Al-Baqarah ayat 260 dan implikasinya terhadap pendidik dan peserta didik. Pendidik dan Peserta didik merupakan komponen yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam proses pendidikan. Al-Quran sebagai pedoman hidup dalam hal ini telah mengisyaratkan adanya konsep pendidik dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini mengkaji Q.S. Al-Baqarah ayat 260 dari rujukan enam kitab tafsir sebagai referensi utama dan jurnal serta referensi lainnya sebagai referensi sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ayat tersebut mengindikasikan bahwasannya media pembelajaran harus dibuat dengan memperhatikan beberapa hal, yaitu: diawali dengan nama Allah, sebaiknya dilengkapi dengan identitas pemateri yang akan menyampaikan, adanya isi materi pelajaran yang mengajarkan kebaikan, menggunakan konten yang indah, tertata rapi, isinya singkat dan jelas, menggunakan bahasa yang lemah lembut, tidak diiringi cercaan atau cacian, menarik perhatian, dan tidak diiringi dengan muatan materi yang melukai orang yang melihatnya. siswa dalam proses pembelajaran perlu mengarahkan dirinya menuju Allah SWT, mengedepankan adab, dan mengeksplor rasa ingin tahu yang ada. Selain itu, ayat tersebut mengandung isyarat bagi guru dalam proses pendidikan hendaknya menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik, menumbuhkan suasana kelas yang nyaman untuk bertanya, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang tepat, dan mengarahkan proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai Ridha Allah SWT.
