Abstract

Education has to result in qualified generation and strong personality of human being. This study is underpined by a moral of students these days. This research is purposed to investigate a concept of ṣilaturaḥim in Alquran relating to the implication for Islāmic education at school. This research uses qualitative approach and using mauḍu’ī to identify and analyze all term of Ṣilaturaḥim in Alquran. The data of this research is chosen tafsīr Alquran relating to the topic by mufasirin. This research is based on the meaning of ṣilaturaḥim in Alquran will obtain 1) as a guide for ‘aqῑdaħ, 2) generating devotion to Allāh, 3) deciding heirs, 4) trusteeship, 5) creating essential relationships among society, 6) `akhlāqul karimaħ. The standpoint of Ṣilaturaḥim in Alquran can lead to acquire raḥmaħ, kept away from adzab, help each other, gain livelihood, and have a long life. Based on this research, the concept of ṣilaturaḥim in Alquran has implications for educators, those are educators, students, curriculum, function, principles, and teaching method orientation.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the phenomenon where students often feel bored and sleepy while attending Islamic Religious Education (PAI) classes. This occurs due to monotonous teaching methods and the use of conventional teaching media. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by teachers to enhance students motivation and learning outcomes. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles in the fifth grade at SD Negeri 21 Kota Pagar Alam. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and pre-test and post-test assessments. Qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach, while quantitative data were analyzed using a paired sample T-test with the help of SPSS and Excel 2013. The results showed a significant improvement, with 53% of students scoring above the KKM (Minimum Competency Criteria) in the first cycle, which then increased to 80% in the second cycle. The study concludes that implementing the Game-Based Learning (GBL) model using the snake and ladder game as a learning medium is effective in improving student learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

Abstract

Pencak silat merupakan olahraga beladiri asli Indonesia yang memperlihatkan seni keindahan gerak dan jurusnya. Olahraga ini sudah menjadi ajang prestasi yang diminati oleh kalangan anak-anak hingga orang dewasa. Banyak sekolah yang memulai program kegiatan pencak silat untuk menghasilkan siswa - siswi yang berprestasi. Oleh karena itu program Latihan yang baik guna meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan membangun karakter yang lebih baik. Selain faktor kemampuan fisik yang baik, pencapaian prestasi juga diperlukan motivasi, mental dan rasa percaya diri. Salah satunya dengan komunikasi, komunikasi yang di lakukan oleh pelatih pencak silat yaitu komunikasi persuasif, Akan tetapi masih terdapat beberapa keterbatasan dalam komunikasi persuasif pelatih pencak silat yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi siswa. Keterbatasan ini meliputi kurangnya pengetahuan pelatih tentang komunikasi persuasif yang efektif, kurangnya kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya motivasi berprestasi, dan kurangnya dukungan dari pelatih dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh komunikasi persuasif pelatih pencak silat terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan kuesioner yang dibagikan ke 35 sampel yang sebelumnya dipilih menggunakan metode proportional random sampling. Berdasarkan Hasil stastistik menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi persuasif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi berpretasi dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 dan uji hipotesis sebesar 5,797 > 2,035.

Abstract

PAI & BP di jenjang SMA menuntut siswa memiliki kompetensi baik dari aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotor. Sedangkan persepsi kemampuan siswa meliputi kelebihan dan kekurangan dirinya terhadap mata pelajaran PAI & BP baik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, memahami materi, serta mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam keseharian itulah yang disebut academic self concept PAI & BP siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana tingkat ASC siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran PAI & BP serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya guna menjalin komunikasi yang terbuka antara guru dan siswa serta menciptakan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar antara guru dan siswa. Instrumen ASC PAI & BP yang digunakan adalah hasil modifikasi atas instrumen ASC Sains milik Graham Hardy (2013). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif metode sensus desain Cross-Sectional dengan instrumen angket kuesioner campuran untuk mengetahui tingkat ASC PAI & BP siswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ASC PAI & BP siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat ASC PAI & BP siswa SMA berada pada kategori tinggi yang berarti ASC PAI & BP siswa sebagian besar positif dimana 72,0% siswa memiliki ASC PAI & BP yang tinggi, 27,3% siswa memiliki ASC PAI & BP yang sedang, dan 0,6% siswa memiliki ASC PAI & BP yang rendah.

Abstract

During his second term, President Joko Widodo took decisive action by dissolving two prominent Islamist organizations in Indonesia, Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) and the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). This study explores how the Indonesian government has sought to strengthen its position and gain the trust of nationalist and moderate Islamic factions through anti-Islamist policies. By utilizing Islam as a political tool, the administration has fostered nationalism while suppressing Islamist and conservative movements. Employing a case study and fiqh siyasah conceptual approach and analyzing secondary data from books, journals, and media, this research examines three key questions: how Indonesian presidents have historically interpreted Islamism, how identity has been used to fuel animosity between Islamists and Jokowi’s administration, and the impact of dissolving Islamic organizations on Indonesia's democratic future. The findings reveal that religion has been exploited for political purposes, posing a threat to freedom of expression and assembly in a democracy, while Jokowi’s administration has strategically used Islamism to consolidate its power and public trust. This matter, in fact, gains legitimacy from the political jurisprudence that the Islamic group seeks to promote.

Abstract

The reinforcement of Islamic Religious Education outside the classroom can utilize co-curricular activities to ensure the achievement of essential learning objectives, namely developing students' potential for faith, piety, and noble character. This study aims to analyze the role of tutorials in enhancing the religious practices of students at UPI, making this research important as it can provide solutions to address the shortage of classroom instructional hours. This research method is qualitative, with the subjects being the Head of the Tutorial Program, Lecturers, Tutors, and PAI participants. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis included reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the reinforcement of religious practices is carried out through examples, encouragement, commands, practice, rewards, and the like. The material taught relates to the relationship with God (Habluminallah), the relationship with others (Habluminannas), and the relationship with the environment (Hablumin al-alam). The religious character formed strengthens individual religious commitment in worship or religious practice (the ritualistic dimension) and reinforces individual religious commitment in the dimension of effect or experience. This research implies the importance of responding to the limited classroom time for PAI in meeting the targeted PAI objectives through co-curricular programs to optimize these goals. Therefore, the researcher recommends efforts to enhance character formation or moral development through co-curricular activities in public schools and universities. Penguatan Pendidikan Agama Islam di luar kelas dapat menggunakan kegiatan kokurikuler guna memastikan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang esensial yaitu mengembangkan potensi keimanan, ketakwaan, dan akhlak mulia mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Tutorial dalam meningkatkan amaliah keshalihan mahasiswa di kampus UPI. Sehingga, penelitian ini penting karena dapat memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi kekurangan jam pelajaran di kelas. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan responden Ketua Penyelenggara Tutorial, Dosen, Tutor, dan peserta PAI. Pengumpulan data dilalukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi, penyajian, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penguatan amaliah keshalihan dilakukan melalui teladan, anjuran, suruhan dan perintah, latihan, hadiah dan sejenisnya. Materi yang diajarkan adalah yang berkaitan dengan Habluminallah, Habluminannas, dan Hablumin al-alam. Kemudian, karakter religius yang dibentuk adalah menguatkan komitmen religius individu ke dalam peribadatan atau praktek agama (the ritualistic dimension) dan menguatkan komitmen religius individu ke dalam dimensi effect atau pengalaman.Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya merespon keterbatasan waktu PAI di kelas dalam memenuhi kebutuhan beban yang ditargetkan oleh PAI melalui program kokurikuler untuk mengoptimalkan tujuan secara optimal. Sehingga, peneliti merekomendasikan dilaksanakannya upaya peningkatan pembentukan karakter atau pembentukan akhlak melalui kegiatan kokurikuler di sekolah-sekolah umum dan perguruan tinggi umum.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the history of Islamic civilization during the leadership of Caliph Usman bin Affan. This research uses a qualitative approach and literature study method. Based on the results of the research, the expansion of Islam during 'Uthmān's time can be summarized in two areas, namely suppressing the disobedience and rebellion that occurred in several countries that had come under Islamic rule at the time of Umar and continuing the expansion of Islam to areas that had stopped the expansion of Islam during the time of Umar. 'Uthmān handed over the whole of the Levant to Muawiyyah ibn Abu Sufyan to wage war by sea and land as far as Taflis. Then 'Abdullah ibn Abu Sarh conquered all of Africa. At that time, 'Uthmān released 'Amr b. 'Ash from his position as the governor of Egypt and appointed 'Abdullah b. Abu Sarh in his place. 'Uthmān b. Affan r.a was besieged by rebels. It happened in the month of Dhul Hijjah in the 35th year of Hijrah. At that time he was 82 years old and his caliphate lasted 12 years. His killing was the cause of the division and scattering of the Muslims.

Abstract

Learning models have an important role in achieving success in achieving goals. This study aims to examine the Challenge Based Learning model and compile its implementation in Islamic Religious Education Learning to Increase Student Religiosity as the core objective of Islamic Religious Education learning. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. The data in this study were obtained from primary sources including Challenge Based Learning Guidelines, Textbooks, and Education Regulations in Indonesia. In addition, this study also took secondary sources from various relevant scientific journal articles. The data obtained was then analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study concludes that the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) model is an innovative approach that places learners as the main subject in designing real solutions to challenges relevant to their lives. CBL not only encourages active engagement, collaboration, and the development of 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration, but it is also very relevant to be implemented in Islamic Religious Education Learning to improve students' substantive religiosity. Through a systematic syntax, starting from the engage, explore, to act stages, CBL helps learners identify, analyze, and solve real problems reflectively and applicatively. Thus, the application of CBL in Islamic Religious Education learning has the potential to form a religious character that is not only symbolic, but also reflected in students' daily behavior, so as to overcome various phenomena of moral decline and religiosity in the current educational environment. Researchers in this case recommend further research in the form of implementing the Challenge Based Learning model in Islamic Religious Education Learning to Improve Students' Religious Attitudes.

Abstract

This study explores the development and evaluation of the Islamic Mobile Learning (IML) application, which is designed as a supplement for students in studying Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in high schools in Indonesia. The Research and Development (R&D) approach is used combined with the ADDIE model, this study focuses on creating learning media in the form of user-friendly Android-based applications by integrating interactive multimedia features, such as quizzes, videos, and animations. This application has been validated by material experts and media experts as well as pretest-post-test assessments, very high reliability was achieved (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.989) accompanied by validity (Pearson Correlation> 0.7). The research findings show a significant increase in student learning outcomes after using the IML application and positive feedback from them as users. Although there are challenges regarding accessibility and scalability, the results indicate that the IML application offers a promising learning media as a supplement to Islamic Religious Education learning, making it more attractive, user-friendly, easily accessible, and adaptable to diverse learning environments.

Abstract

— This research aims to examine the influence of tax knowledge, career motivation, and students’ perceptions on the interest of accounting students in enrolling in the tax brevet program, as well as to analyze whether there are differences in these factors between accounting students at private universities (PTS) with Accreditation A and those at PTS with Accreditation B. The population in this study comprises accounting students at Universitas Djuanda, Universitas Pakuan, IBI Kesatuan, and Universitas Nusa Bangsa. A total sample of 629 students was selected using purposive sampling and the Slovin formula, resulting in 90 samples used for the analysis. Data analysis techniques were conducted using SmartPLS version 3.0 software and an independent sample t-test using SPSS version 22. The research findings reveal that both career motivation and student perceptions have a positive influence on the interest of accounting students in enrolling in the tax brevet program, while tax knowledge does not influence their interest. The independent sample t-test demonstrates that there is a difference in interest between accounting students at PTS with Accreditation A and those with Accreditation B, indicating that the interest in attending the tax brevet program is higher among students at PTS with Accreditation B compared to those at PTS with Accreditation A.
