Abstract

Pencatatan kondisi peralatan guna menginventarisasi dengan menggunakan QR Code merupakan suatu hal yang baru di Laboratorium Animal House. Saat ini pencatatan kondisi dan inventarisasi peralatan serta absensi pengguna telah dilakukan namun masih secara manual, akan tetapi masih terdapat kekurangan. Untuk meminimalisir kekurangan tersebut penulis mencoba memanfaatkan teknologi khusunya Google Form, Google Spreadsheet dan E-MEQR untuk membuat pencatatan pemeliharaan peralatan berbasis QR Code dan absensi pengguna laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencatat setiap pemeliharaan peralatan yang dilakukan oleh pengelola laboratorium dengan memindai QR Code agar terinventarisasi dengan baik dari segi peralatan yang ada dan absensi, Sehingga Pencatatan tersebut secara otomatis akan terekap pada jadwal pemeliharaan pada Google Spreadsheet dan data nya akan tersimpan pada media penyimpanan Google Drive. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemeliharaan peralatan dan inventarisasi serta absensi di laboratorium animal house.

Abstract

Hasil evaluasi selama pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu perwujudan dalam pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang telah memberikan manfaat bagi para peserta Pkm yang berasal dari pimpinan sekolah menengah pertama di region kota Palembang yang menjadi sasaran dalam pengabdian ini sebanyak 13 Sekolah (26 peserta). Peserta ini berasal dari kepala dan wakil kepala sekolah. Pelatihan penguatan literasi dan numerasi merupakan bentuk yang efektif untuk memberikan penyegaran dan wawasan baru di bidang pendidikan. Dimana hal tersebut dapat diterima diluar proses pembelajaran di sekolah dan dalam pelaksanaan salah satu program Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi ini, yaitu Pelatihan penguatan Literasi dan Numerasi untuk membantu pemulihan pembelajaran di sekolah. Selama kegiatan ini berlangsung tidak mengalami kendala yang bisa menghambat jalannya proses pelatihan pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMP dalam pembuatan bahan ajar berbasis ekopedagogi dengan bantuan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilaksanakan dengan metode penyampaian materi, diskusi, tanya jawab, simulasi, dan praktik. Hasilnya, para guru berhasil mengembangkan bahan ajar yang interaktif dan adaptif, yang memanfaatkan AI untuk personalisasi pembelajaran dan umpan balik real-time. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata postes dari 61,58 menjadi 78,42 menunjukkan efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru. Observasi dan wawancara dengan para guru menunjukkan bahwa mereka merasa lebih percaya diri dan termotivasi dalam mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip ekopedagogi. Produk akhir berupa bahan ajar digital yang dihasilkan menunjukkan kreativitas dan inovasi tinggi, serta mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mendukung temuan sebelumnya tentang manfaat AI dalam pendidikan dan pentingnya integrasi ekopedagogi untuk mengembangkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tetapi juga berpotensi sebagai model untuk pengembangan pendidikan berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of rainfall in Kalimantan Island during the ENSO and IOD phases using composite method. This study uses ERA5 reanalysis data for the period 1985-2023. The analysis was carried out using Python in Jupyter Notebook Software to visualize rainfall patterns across four seasons (DJF, MAM, JJA, and SON). The results indicate that El Niño events reduce rainfall during the JJA season, with the largest deficit occurring in the southern region of Kalimantan, where rainfall drops to less than 5 mm per season. Conversely, Positive IOD conditions exacerbate drought, resulting in decreased rainfall in the southern and central parts of the island. The combined effects of El Niño and Positive IOD cause an even more significant decline in rainfall, with the dry season experiencing a substantial reduction compared to normal conditions. This study provides important insights for hydrometeorological risk mitigation in Kalimantan, highlighting the need for adaptive management in response to climate variability.

Abstract

Increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases have led to changes in extreme climate events. This study aims to describe the picture of climate change in the South Sumatra Region during the last 40 years, namely from 1981-2020. Rainfall and extreme temperature data were obtained from BMKG data for South Sumatra Province at the Palembang City Climatology Station (SK Palembang City) and the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Meteorological Station (SM SMB II). Maximum temperature data, minimum temperature and rainfall were obtained based on parameter profiles obtained from BMKG data for South Sumatra Province based on the ETCCDMI provisions. Maximum temperature data, minimum temperature and rainfall are processed with RClimDex software so that temperature and extreme rain index data are obtained. These indices are extreme climate indices consisting of TN90p, TX90p, TNn, TNx,TXx, TXx, TMAXmean, TMINmean, RX1day, RX5day, SDII, CDD and CWD. The results of this study indicate that the trend of air temperature will increase significantly in South Sumatra Province, especially the minimum air temperature, then the precipitation pattern will also increase, especially the accumulation of rainfall for 5 consecutive days. There is an increase in the number of dry days and a decrease in the number of wet days, as well as the higher accumulation of daily rainfall but the wet days are decreasing day by day. This is also increasingly having an impact on climate change in South Sumatra Province which is getting hotter day by day and the smoke disaster due to land and peat fires in South Sumatra Province is increasingly worrying.

Abstract

Technology in the world is growing, technological developments have an impact on the world of education. One of the uses of technology is with cellphones, where cellphones are included in technology that is very popular with everyone. Therefore, the microscope media is designed with a smartphone camera. It is expected that microscope learning media based on smartphone cameras is one of the alternative learning media in schools that do not have a light microscope. The smartphone camera-based digital microscope is classified as a laboratory tool (tool of practice) in learning physics, biology. This smartphone camera-based microscope produces a fairly good and clear image, this camera-based digital microscope is easily poisoned with material that is easily found in everyday life. The workings of a digital microscope based on a smartphone camera are almost the same as the way a light microscope works, only here use the help of a smartphone so that the image obtained is more clearly visible on the smartphone screen.

Abstract

Computational physics can be used to help solve complex dynamics equations, both translational and rotational. The purpose of this study is to obtain differences in the dynamics of mechanical systems with non-holonomic constraints in various flat and curved configuration spaces based on physics computing. In this study the reduction used is a mathematical calculation of the Port-Contolled Hamiltonian System (PCHS) equation in a mechanical system that is a Stroller, so that the equation used in determining the Stroller motion equation with and without friction that moves in the curved plane in the form of a spherical surface with various initial conditions based on maple is Poincaré's equation which is based on Routhian reduction with and without friction. The effect of friction can be clearly seen through dynamics and graphical equations on the Stroller. This method can reduce the Stroller motion equation with and without friction that moves on the ball sphere clearly in the form of a set of differential equations. The findings of this study are dynamic equations and graphs of Stroller equations with and without friction that move in the curved plane in the form of a spherical ball with varying initial conditions based on maples. This study proves physical concepts about dynamics and kinematics and analyzes Stroller dynamics using computational physics to determine the characteristics of complex and complex Stroller movements, both translational and rotational.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide predictions of climate conditions and trend of temperature rise in the city of Palembang in the 21st century. The BMKG station data used, namely SK Palembang and SM SMB II from the 2000-2020 period were analyzed based on the agreement of the Expert Team for Climate Change Detection and Indices (ETCCDI). ). Analysis using google colab shows that rainfall in the city of Palembang has a fairly high variability and a decrease in the number of rainy days that occur in the city of Palembang with the trend of air temperature, namely TMAXmean and TMINmean, has increased significantly by 2.40C for 50 years. Based on the correlation analysis between rainfall and El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) with Google Colab, a negative relationship was found. The El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) index used is the Niño 3.4 index. The study concluded that although the geographical location of Palembang city is located in the Asian Monsoon area, the ENSO phenomenon does not significantly affect rainfall variability in Palembang city.

Abstract

This research was carried out to find out the dynamics of climate change in the Bangka Belitung Islands, by utilizing BMKG observer station data at Depati Meteorological Station, starting in 1981 until 2022 that the official obtained from the BMKG website online. This research was conducted at the Education laboratory of FKIP Physics University of Sriwijaya. The research method used is secondary data research with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was used using the RClimDex application with the Expert Team on Climate Change Detection and Indices (ETCCDI) rules. Trend analysis was carried out with non-pithelmetry statistical tests Man-Kendall and Sens tests. The temperature indexes experience significant trends, which indicates that the longer the temperature in the Bangka Belitung Islands will increase.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the basic science process skills of the students of SMP Negeri 2 Pagaralam City. The study used a dominant-less dominant design with purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted at SMP Class VIII with a population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pagaralam. The sample used was 18 students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 2 Pagaralam City. The results of the research conducted showed that: (1) grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Pagaralam City on average had basic science process skills at a moderate level in solving questions using a valid instrument, namely the Test of Basic Process Skill (BAPS) as many as 36 questions. science process skills (2) student achievement for each indicator, namely observation by 65%, communication by 61%, clarification by 58%, measurement by 27%, prediction by 32%, and inference by 57%. Keywords: science process skills, test of basic process skills (BAPS) Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains dasar siswa SMP Negeri 2 Pagaralam Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain dominan-kurang dominan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Kelas VIII dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pagaralam. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 18 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pagaralam. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pagaralam rata-rata memiliki keterampilan proses sains dasar pada tingkat sedang dalam menyelesaikan soal dengan menggunakan instrumen yang valid yaitu Tes Keterampilan Proses Dasar (BAPS) sebanyak 36 pertanyaan. keterampilan proses sains (2) prestasi belajar siswa pada masing-masing indikator yaitu observasi sebesar 65%, komunikasi sebesar 61%, klarifikasi sebesar 58%, pengukuran sebesar 27%, prediksi sebesar 32%, dan inferensi sebesar 57%.  Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains, tes keterampilan proses dasar (BAPS)DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i3.pp584-593
