Abstract

The pawn agreement for high-ranking land in West Sumatra is commonly known as pawn, which was originally a form of mutual assistance in society but has since transformed into an economic and/or capitalist transaction. Based on this, the author formulates the following problems: 1. The Process of Forming a Pawn Agreement in Nagari Gunung Padang Alai, V Koto Timur District, Padang Pariaman Regency. 2. What are the causes of disputes and how are land pawn agreements resolved? This research method is empirical juridical research, meaning research conducted on the real conditions of society or the community environment with the intent and purpose of finding facts, which then leads to identifying problems and ultimately leading to solving related problems and connecting them with the reality of the land pawn agreement in Nagari Gunung Padang Alai, Padang Pariaman Regency. The results of this study indicate that 1. Pagang gadai pusako tinggi carried out by the pawnbroker and the pawnbroker for the object to be pawned must be through an agreement between the two parties and witnessed by several people who are considered to maintain the sanctity of the agreement, one of which is pawnbroking as raising the tarandam stem, such as the lack of funds to continue the education of children of clan members, resulting in pawnbroking of the clan's pusako land. 2. The causes of disputes and disagreements are resolved according to customary law regulations or resolved in the District Court. Customary law regulations are also referred to as Customary Civil Procedure Law or customary formal civil law. In deliberation and consensus, they will always adhere to the elements that exist and develop within the community environment. These elements are better known as Tali sapilin tigo, which includes elements of religion, custom, and law.

Abstract

This study explores the role of tawakal in overcoming imposter syndrome from an Islamic perspective. Tawakal, which is the concept of surrendering to Allah, is considered an effective approach to managing the anxiety and feelings of inadequacy that often arise in imposter syndrome. This study investigates three aspects of tawakal, namely taslim and tafwidh aspects of tawakkal, as a holistic approach that combines spirituality with mental health. Through a qualitative study, this research shows that tawakal is not just a passive attitude, but an active process that can change the way we view ourselves and our surroundings. The application of the principles of tawakal has proven to have great potential in reducing the symptoms of imposter syndrome, giving individuals inner peace despite facing various challenges. Although some previous studies have discussed the relationship between tawakal and academic anxiety, as well as imposter syndrome with academic anxiety, research that specifically examines the role of tawakal in overcoming imposter syndrome is still rare. This study fills the void and emphasizes the need for further studies, especially in analyzing the hadith about tawakal from the sanad and matan perspectives.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education. This situation demands learning innovation through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning model in improving student learning processes and outcomes in Pancasila Education, as well as to examine its implications and impact on active engagement and critical thinking skills. This study was a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 20 sixth-grade students of SDN 104/II Sungai Pinang in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model improved student learning processes and outcomes. Improvements were evident in the learning process, with the average achievement score increasing from 70% in cycle I to 79.5% in cycle II. Meanwhile, learning outcomes also experienced significant improvements. For analytical skills, scores increased from 35% to 80%; Synthesis skills increased from 45% to 75%; problem-recognition and problem-solving skills increased from 40% to 80%; and conclusion skills increased from 50% to 70%. The implications of implementing the Problem-Based Learning model not only improve academic outcomes but also foster critical thinking, collaboration, and student responsibility for learning. Furthermore, this model encourages teachers to be more creative in designing student-centered learning, thus making Pancasila Education more contextual, meaningful, and fostering a reflective attitude toward Pancasila values.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effects of technology infrastructure, security and regulatory compliance, and human resource readiness on the collaboration of Rural Banks (BPR) with fintech and the open banking ecosystem, with digital service adoption as a moderating variable. Research Methodology: This research applied an associative quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected from 44 respondents representing 23 BPRs in Depok City. Respondents included executive officers, IT staff, and board members. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, and data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. Results: The findings show that human resource readiness has a significant positive effect on BPR–fintech collaboration. Technology infrastructure as well as security and regulatory compliance demonstrate no significant influence. Digital service adoption shows a positive but non-significant effect, although it moderates the negative influence of technology infrastructure. The research model obtained an R² value of 0.601, indicating a moderate explanatory power. Conclusions: The study concludes that human resources are the most critical determinant of successful BPR digital transformation and collaboration with fintech. Technical and regulatory factors contribute positively but insignificantly, while digital service adoption primarily plays a moderating role. Limitations: This study is limited to BPRs in Depok City with a relatively small sample size. Thus, the findings may not be generalizable to other regions or banking institutions. Contribution: This study contributes to the literature on financial digitalization by highlighting the central role of human resource readiness in fintech collaboration. Practically, it offers insights for BPR management, regulators, and policymakers in designing strategies to strengthen HR competence and digital adoption in the context of open banking.

Abstract

This study analyzes the epistemological intersection between Sufism and Hadith Science through an in-depth examination of the work of Abū ‘Abd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī, al-Arbaʿūn fī al-Taṣawwuf. Using a historical-philological method, the research reveals the mechanism of the "methodological dialogue" initiated by al-Sulamī, which seeks to reconcile the authority of hadith transmission (naql) with the spiritual epistemology of Sufism (kashf). Empirical philological findings indicate that the majority of hadiths in this collection are of weak (ḍaʿīf) or even fabricated (mawḍūʿ) status, yet doctrinally, al-Sulamī strategically employs them to construct a Sufi ethical-spiritual foundation centered on the concepts of zuhud, maḥabbah, and maʿrifah. This study clearly distinguishes between the findings of problematic sanad authenticity and al-Sulamī's interpretative claims that validate hadith through the alignment of meaning (ṣiḥḥat al-maʿnā) and spiritual considerations. The resulting epistemological insight demonstrates that this work is not merely a harmonious reconciliation, but rather a negotiation arena reflecting the creative tension between the historical-textual authority of the muhaddithūn and the inner experiential authority of the Sufis within the medieval Islamic intellectual tradition.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore industry perceptions of the competencies of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) graduates in Malaysia, with a particular focus on the automotive sector. A qualitative approach using a case study design was employed, involving semi-structured interviews with representatives from the automotive industry. The findings indicate that TVET graduates generally possess basic technical skills that are relevant to industry needs, especially in automotive operations and maintenance. However, the industry highlighted deficiencies in soft skills such as communication, work discipline, and professional attitudes. In addition, the level of graduates’ readiness for the real working environment varies depending on the quality of industrial training exposure and the institutions attended. The study suggests that stronger collaboration between TVET institutions and the automotive industry is necessary to ensure better alignment of curricula and training with current industry demands. The findings are expected to contribute to policy improvement and the enhancement of TVET implementation in Malaysia.

Abstract

This study examines how economic development and its social impacts are perceived across different socio-economic groups in Palu, Central Sulawesi, a post-disaster urban context. It aims to assess whether economic growth promotes inclusive development or reinforces inequality. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted with 150 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, correlation, and regression techniques to evaluate relationships between socio-economic status and development perceptions. The findings show that economic development is generally perceived positively, particularly in infrastructure and employment. However, significant disparities exist across income groups, with higher-income respondents reporting more favorable perceptions. The results also indicate moderate levels of perceived inequality and declining social cohesion, especially among lower-income groups. Regression analysis confirms that income and education significantly influence perceptions, while economic development is negatively associated with social cohesion. Economic development supports recovery but may exacerbate inequality without inclusive policies and social integration strategies.
