Abstract

This research presents the optimization of seaplane maintenance in coastal areas, emphasizing the importance of qualitative research methods to understand the experiences and problem-solving approaches of maintenance personnel. This study highlights the unique operational challenges faced by seaplanes, particularly their susceptibility to corrosion in harsh environments. Regular inspections at specific intervals (25, 50, 100, and 200 flight hours) are critical to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of the flotation device. This research underscores the need for pilots and technicians to have basic maintenance knowledge to uphold airworthiness, especially during long-range operations, while addressing risks associated with environmental factors such as saltwater and ice.

Abstract

A mangrove forest ecosystem is a forest that grows and develops in a coastal area, that is, in a marshy land area in a brackish water area. Kedunghasri is the easternmost village, where waste is channeled from upstream to downstream due to lack of discipline on waste management within the community. Through this charity, 500 mangrove trees can be planted to prevent pollution of marine ecosystems. The results of the activities show that planting mangrove trees can raise awareness that mangrove trees are very influential.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of amphibious aircraft in promoting the concept of sustainable tourism in Indonesia. Amphibious aircraft emerged as an innovative solution to the problem of accessibility to remote islands in Indonesia. However, the integration of amphibious aircraft into the Indonesian tourism sector and its alignment with the principles of sustainable tourism is a complex problem. This study uses a literature review research methodology. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. The descriptive qualitative research method is a method of seeking knowledge about previous research through books, national and international journals. During the review process, researchers look for similarities, find differences, provide opinions, summarize and combine into a new concept. This study aims to contribute knowledge and recommendations to policy makers, tourism operators, and environmental activists to support sustainable development in the Indonesian tourism sector. It is hoped that this study can provide a comprehensive picture of the potential benefits, challenges, and impacts of amphibious aircraft in promoting sustainable tourism practices in Indonesia, as well as identifying gaps and opportunities for future research.

Abstract

The study of Aqidah has been found to be of great importance in the education of students. The scope of Aqidah that allows students to form noble morals will result in them becoming qualified humans in all aspects of life. From the perspective of Aqidah, which plays a role in the formation of human morals, it can be said that humans can avoid despicable morals as a manifestation of the teachings of Islamic Aqidah. The morals derived from the Qur'an and hadith serve as the foundation for the development of spiritual values, which in turn produce quality generations. Aqidah and morals are inextricably linked; noble morals serve as a reflection of a person's personality and can elevate one's status. Moral education can be considered a form of moral education within the context of Islamic education. The objective of this study is to examine the learning of moral creed among students at XYZ School, and to assess the efficacy of this learning in fostering the formation of religious character. The study employs a multi-methodological approach, including observational techniques, in-depth interviews, and the analysis of documentary materials. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of moral creed learning at XYZ School has a significant impact on fostering the realization of student morals. The cultivation of character education is a value that should be embraced as a foundation of nationhood, as it serves as a cornerstone for Indonesian children to cultivate the requisite qualities to thrive as citizens of a nation, in alignment with the character values that are reflective of the nation's cultural heritage.. It is a highly effective approach that enables students to learn how to have morals towards themselves, to parents, to fellow friends, and to the wider community, which can be applied in everyday life.

Abstract

The throttle is a device on the Cessna 172s training aircraft which is used to increase the amount of air used during combustion. To help overcome difficult throttle adjustments, special tools are needed in the form of a tracker. The existence of representative and useful tools to make things easier and save costs is really needed, therefore research to create work aids currently needs to be increased. Tool testing is also very important in knowing the maximum working point of the tracker tool which can determine properties such as shear elastic modulus, torsional yield strength and rupture modulus. The torsion test results consist of two parameters, namely the torsional moment parameter and the shear stress parameter. The tool that has been created in this research will analyze torsional strength using simulation.

Abstract

This research article examines the role of transportation policies in reducing carbon emissions, focusing on various cities in Indonesia. The study aims to identify the most optimal transportation policies to address carbon emissions and promote environmentally friendly urban development. Bibliometric methods quantitatively analyzed scholarly literature on transportation policies and carbon emissions, while benchmarking methods compared transportation policies worldwide based on carbon emission data and air quality. A total of 100 articles were found in the Scopus database using the keywords 'transportation policy city carbon emission' from 2018 to 2023. The selection was refined to 50 articles with the highest citations and further narrowed down to 31 articles, then to 10 articles focusing on specific city research, and finally to the top 5 articles in Scopus Q1 journals (journals with the highest academic quality and impact) based on benchmarking results as the basis for policymaking. The research results indicate four optimal transportation policy recommendations to address carbon emissions: urban-scale fossil fuel consumption calculations, spatial planning prioritizing sustainable transportation, the use of micro-electric vehicles (micromobility), and increased energy efficiency in transportation. The study also identified under-researched variables related to carbon emission reduction efforts, such as urban airports, climate change mitigation, low-carbon mobility transition, and other future research formulation plans that can be further investigated. This research underscores the urgency of prioritizing the development of sustainable transportation policies to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in Indonesian cities.
