Abstract

Bidan adalah salah satu tenaga kesehatan sebagai profesi yang terus berkembang sehingga harus mengikuti perkembangan dan perubahan globalisasi. Era globalisasi menuntut tersedianya sumber daya manusia profesional dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan bidan berdasarkan kebutuhan perkembangan zaman dengan membandingkan kurikulum pendidikan bidan di Indonesia, New Zaeland, dan Australia. Metode yang digunakan pada penulisan artikel ini dengan menggunakan penelaahan literatue (literature riview) berupa proses penyusunana sintesis kepustakaan. Tahap yang dilakukan dengan menelusuri kepustakaan, menemukan ide utama setiap artikel, dan menuliskan dengan gaya paraphrase. Hal tersebut, dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan berbagai referensi berupa artikel-artikel ilmiah dan text book berdasarkan kajian tentang kurikulum pendidikan bidan di Negara Indonesia, New Zaeland, dan Australia. Dengan demikan, hasil kajian perbandingan kurikulum pendidikan bidan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kurikulum pendidikan bidan yang dapat menghasilkan lulusan bidan profesional dalam memberikan asuhan yang berpusat pada wanita.Kata Kunci: Bidan, Kurikulum, Pendidikan Midwives are one of the health workers as a profession that continues to develop so that they must follow the developments and changes of globalization. The era of globalization demands the availability of professional human resources in providing services to the community. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a midwife education curriculum based on the needs of the times by comparing the midwife education curriculum in Indonesia, New Zealand, and Australia. The method used in writing this article uses a literature review in the form of a library synthesis compilation process. The stage was carried out by browsing the literature, finding the main idea of each article, and writing in a paraphrase style. This has done by collecting various references in the form of scientific articles and text books based on studies on the midwifery education curriculum in Indonesia, New Zealand, and Australia. Thus, the results of the comparative study of midwifery education curriculum aim to develop a midwife education curriculum that can produce professional midwife graduates in providing women-centred care.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the interdisciplinary approach in midwifery higher education curricula. The research method utilized a scoping review of the Scopus, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases. This method included the identification of research questions, searching for appropriate literature, selecting relevant studies, and mapping and analyzing data to identify knowledge gaps. The data analysis technique employed was thematic analysis. The results identified ten key articles that highlighted several key themes: midwifery education and training models, implementation of global standards, innovation in learning, and interprofessional collaboration. Findings showed that the Continuity of Midwifery (CoM) approach and mentor training positively impacted students' learning experiences, but clinical evaluation and supporting facilities still require significant improvement. The CoM education model underscored students' preferences for autonomous and collaborative practice. Enhancements to clinical evaluation and support facilities were recognized as important steps to improve the quality of education. Additionally, the implementation of global standards and innovation in interprofessional education is crucial for improving interprofessional collaboration and care outcomes. It is recommended to strengthen interprofessional approaches and community learning, as well as to engage students as researchers, to prepare them for the complex challenges in midwifery practice. These steps are expected to enhance the competency of midwifery graduates globally.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pembangunan lokal merupakan salah satu upaya peningkatan dan pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah dengan melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, salah satunya adalah aspek kesehatan. Saat ini, Stunting merupakan salah satu masalah dalam aspek kesehatan, yaitu  kurangnya asupan gizi pada balita dalam kurun waktu 1000 hari pertama kehidupan yang mengakibatkan terhambatnya pertumbuhan tinggi dan berat badan anak. Selain itu, disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat terutama ibu hamil dan ibu yang memiliki balita terkait stunting dan bagaimana pencegahannya. Tujuan: Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang stunting dan upaya pencegahannya kepada ibu rumah tangga dan kader posyandu di Desa Cikeruh. Metode Penelitian: Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil: Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini terdapat sebagian kecil masyarakat masih kurang paham terkait faktor apa saja yang mengakibatkan stunting (16,67%). Kesimpulan: Dengan adanya kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat di Desa Cikeruh ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait stunting dan juga pencegahannya.

Abstract

Salah satu komponen penting dari proses belajar mengajar adalah penilaian dan evaluasi. Ini adalah cara untuk mengetahui batas kemampuan, dan perkembangan hasil pembelajaran mahasiswa serta tingkat efektivitas pengajaran dosen. Pertanyaan multiple choice (MCQs) atau pertanyaan pilihan berganda adalah salah satu jenis penilaian dan evaluasi yang sangat populer. Agar ujian tetap sesuai dengan penilaian yang diinginkan, standar yang berlaku untuk pembuatan instrumen MCQ harus dipatuhi. Diharapkan review ini dapat menambah referensi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pembuatan instrumen evaluasi MCQ dengan berfokus pada analisis hasil item analisis pada instrumen evaluasi MCQ. Struktur yang digunakan oleh Arksey dan O'Malley terdiri dari lima langkah. Menurut hasil, terdapat tujuh artikel yang diperoleh dari proses pencarian. Terdapat empat tema yang ditemukan dalam hasil analisis. Mereka adalah sebagai berikut: menentukan kualitas bagian soal; elemen yang mempengaruhi tingkat kesulitan soal; menjamin validitas dan kredibilitas bagian soal; dan menggunakan metode analisis untuk menghasilkan distraktor. Dalam pemilihan evaluasi belajar dalam pilihan berganda (MCQ), ketelitian diperlukan dalam pembuatan soal dan opsi jawaban yang menggunakan item analysis.

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan pada berbagai profesi dibidang kesehatan, khususnya kebidanan, berfokus pada pengetahuan dan praktik dalam menghasilkan  lulusan yang terjun pada pelayanan klinis. Pendidikan kebidanan terdiri dari pembelajaran teori dan pembelajaran praktik. Pada pendidikan klinik, keterampilan diasah dengan simulasi dalam laboratorium dan praktik klinik yang membutuhkan evaluasi formatif. Feedback merupakan bagian penting dalam evaluasi formatif. Literature review ini disusun untuk menganalisis feedback yang efektif dalam evaluasi pembelajaran praktek laboratorium dan klinik, khususnya pada pendidikan kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review. Analisis dilakukan terhadap 13 artikel jurnal. Hasil literature review ini menunjukkan umpan balik efektif dan teratur dapat memperkuat praktik yang baik, meningkatkan kemampuan refleksi diri pada peserta didik, dan memotivasi peserta didi untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penting untuk dapat mengetahui feedback yang efektif dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran praktikum dan klinik bagi mahasiswa merupakan salah satu cara untuk dapat menilai keberhasilan pembelajaran dan penguasaan keterampilanKata Kunci: evaluasi, feedback, formatif, kebidanan, pendidik

Abstract

Girls with disabilities are more at risk of contracting STIs because they are a vulnerable group, lacking information and reproductive health services so that hygiene is not well maintained. This study aimed to determine the effect of health education through a video about STIs on the knowledge of girls who were blind and deaf in Bandung City. This study used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design in October-December 2019. The research sample was girls who were blind and deaf at Extraordinary Schools in Bandung City. The sampling technique was total sampling with 63 respondents. Data collection was carried out by interviews and questionnaire. Bivariate data analysis used Paired T-Test. In this study, there was an effect of health education through video on the knowledge of girls who were blind and deaf about STIs.

Abstract

Posyandu is part of the Community-Sourced Health Efforts (UKBM), a health information system in maternal and child health services. Currently, health recording and reporting are still in paper form. Therefore, an iPosyandu application facilitates and accelerates cadres in recording and reporting. This activity was carried out in March 2023 to 145 cadres in Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency, Banten. The method used was training on recording and reporting based on the iPosyandu application, where cadres were given a questionnaire on the use of the iPosyandu application. The results of this activity showed that most of the cadres had the characteristics of age 31-40 years (41.4%), the last education was high school (55.2%), the occupation was taking care of the household (97.9%), and the experience of being a cadre for 1-5 years (51%), and most of the cadres serving in the posyandu had middle strata (41%). Most cadres agreed to use the iPosyandu application because it can make reports quickly (83.7%), and cadres felt that the iPosyandu application had all the functions based on cadres' abilities (87.1%). In addition, there is a relationship between the last education of cadres and the use of iPosyandu applications (p-value < 0.005; r value > 1). This community service activity concludes that cadres have good digital literacy in using the iPosyandu application, so the system for recording and reporting the results of posyandu activities can run well. Keywords: iPosyandu, cadres, digital literacy, recording, reporting.

Abstract

The incidence of contraceptive dropout in West Java is still high. Analyzing the reasons would help to improve programs. This study explores the relationship between predisposing factors and the incidence of contraceptive dropout in West Java. The research was cross-sectional and conducted from August to December 2021, and the dataset came from Program Performance and Accountability Survey (Survei Kinerja dan Akuntabilitas Program, SKAP) 2019. The sample in the study were women of childbearing age 15–49 years with married status both ever and currently using contraception—a total of 338 samples with simple random sampling. This study used univariate, bivariate, and multiple logistic regression to analyze the discontinuation of contraception. A study has shown a relationship (p<0.05) between parity, education level, level of knowledge, and the incidence of contraceptive dropout. Furthermore, age and employment status did not affect them. In conclusion, a relationship exists between predisposing factors such as education, parity, knowledge, and contraceptive dropout. There is a need to emphasize the health promotion of contraception, especially for women of childbearing age with marital status, low education, fewer children than two, and inadequate knowledge level. In addition, contraceptive service standards should be implemented to prevent the incidence of contraceptive dropout.

Abstract

Currently, village midwives are experiencing an increased workload because there are more and more health service programs, so they cannot provide optimal sustainable midwifery care. This study analyzes the relationship between iPosyandu application-based training media and training materials for continuing midwifery care and learning evaluation. This type of research is analytical research with a cross-sectional research design. The research subjects were 110 people. Data was collected by providing the village midwife with an online questionnaire (google form). Univariate data were processed and analyzed to determine all research variables' mean and standard deviation values. Bivariate data analysis with Pearson test due to the type of numeric data. The study found no correlation between the components of the training curriculum (including training materials, learning media, and learning evaluation) and continuing midwifery care competencies. However, there is a significant correlation between training materials and learning media. In addition, a significant correlation was found between learning evaluation and learning media. It was concluded that the components of the training curriculum were interrelated so that the iPosyandu application could be used as a training medium for all competencies in training. This research implies that midwives can use the iPosyandu application as a learning medium that makes it easy to access training materials, thereby saving training costs for midwives as training participants and organizers.

Abstract

Pemantauan kesejahteraan janin penting dilakukan selama kehamilan yang bertujuan untuk melihat setiap tahap perkembangan janin. Salah satu parameter untuk menilai kesejahteraan janin melalui gerakan janin. Selain resiko lahir mati penurunan gerakan janin juga berhubungan dengan kejadian prematur dan pertumbuhan janin terhambat. Selain itu, angka kematian ibu yang tinggi salah satunya disebabkan oleh perdarahan. Pencegahan perdarahan pasca salin dapat dilakukan dengan mengenali  tanda-tanda awal perdarahan pasca salin, dan untuk menggunakan farmakologis, mekanik dan metode bedah perdarahan pasca salin, sesuai dengan faktor penyebabnya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa kebidanan dan bidan tentang kesejahteraan janin, gerakan janin, dan perdarahan pascasalin. Metode yang digunakan dengan melaksanakan simposium dan workshop. Hasil kegiatan simposium dan workshop dilaksanakan 1 hari diikuti oleh 113 peserta. Dari hasil evaluasi pengetahuan pretest dan posttest menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan rerata skor pengetahuan dari 100 peserta sebesar 24,07 dari rata-rata awal pada saat pretest 56,3 % meningkat menjadi 81% saat posttest dengan p-value=0,000.  Kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas calon bidan dan bidan ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan maternal untuk masyarakat.
