Abstract

Pendidikan kebidanan membutuhkan pendekatan serius dan komitmen tinggi, mengingat peranan penting bidan dalam menyediakan layanan kesehatan holistik. Profesi bidan sangat diminati di Indonesia dan pendidikan kebidanan dapat ditempuh melalui berbagai jenjang. Pendidikan ini harus disesuaikan dengan kurikulum yang berlaku dan kebijakan pemerintah. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kurikulum pendidikan kebidanan di berbagai negara terhadap standar internasional dan kebutuhan lokal, dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan area yang memerlukan peningkatan dalam pendidikan kebidanan. Dengan menggunakan metodologi scoping review, penelitian ini menganalisis dan mensintesis literatur yang tersedia dari berbagai basis data untuk menilai kesesuaian dan ketidaksesuaian antara kurikulum kebidanan dan tuntutan praktis layanan kebidanan. Studi ini menekankan peranan penting dari kurikulum pendidikan yang harmonis dalam meningkatkan hasil kesehatan maternal dan neonatal dengan mengintegrasikan standar internasional dengan kebutuhan budaya dan profesional yang spesifik untuk setiap wilayah. Temuan menyoroti kebutuhan akan komitmen dan investasi yang lebih besar dalam pendidikan kebidanan berkualitas untuk mencapai Cakupan Kesehatan Global pada tahun 2030 dan meningkatkan kualitas keseluruhan layanan kesehatan maternal dan neonatal. Ulasan ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana pendidikan kebidanan dapat disesuaikan untuk memenuhi standar internasional dan kebutuhan lokal, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan kesiapan profesional lulusan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Implementasi Virtual Reality (VR) dalam pendidikan kebidanan merupakan sebuah inovasi teknologi yang digunakanuntuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan mahasiswa. Teknologi VR berupasimulasi dengan situasi klinis yang realistis dan interaktif yang dapat diulang tanpa batasan waktu dan tanpa risiko bagi pasien. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Virtual Reality dalam pendidikan kebidanan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian scoping review untuk menganalisis berbagai sumber penelitian yang terkait dengan topik yang sama. Pertanyaan penelitian didasarkan pada mnemonic Population, Exposure, and Outcome (PEO). Hasil: Hasil review artikel diperoleh dari berbagai negara baik maju maupun berkembang. Beberapa negara tersebut yaitu Jerman, Irlandia, Australia, China, dan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sintesa tiga tema utama, yaitu manfaat VR dalam pendidikan kebidanan, integrasi VR dalam kurikulum pendidikan kebidanan, dan prospek pengembangan VR di masa depan. Kesimpulan : VR memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dan diimplentasikandalam pendidikan kebidanan sebagai alat pengajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk integrasi lebih luas teknologi VR dalam kurikulum kebidanan, guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan kesiapan profesional mahasiswa kebidanan. Abstract

The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the cause of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). In December 2021, the Omicron variation was first identified in Indonesia, and it has since been linked to nearly 72 million cases worldwide. When COVID-19 is present during pregnancy, unfavorable outcomes including stillbirth, preterm delivery, and maternal mortality may occur. The purpose of this research was to examine the association between the features of women who tested positive for COVID-19 and the incidence of asphyxia in their babies at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital in Bandung between July 2021 and July 2022. A quantitative descriptive technique was used, and 69 mothers and 70 babies were sampled overall. Medical records provided the data, which was then subjected to chi-square analysis. There was no discernible correlation between the incidence of hypoxia and the mother's age (p = 0.838), parity (p = 0.647), or delivery method (p = 0.313). Nonetheless, a noteworthy correlation was seen between the gestational age (p = 0.001) and the maternal difficulties (p = 0.013) associated with baby hypoxia. This research found that whereas age, parity, and delivery style were not substantially linked with newborn hypoxia, gestational age and COVID-19-related problems were.

Abstract

Education and Training (Diklat) with blended learning is training with learning carried out face to face directly and indirectly (synchronous and asynchronous). Asynchronous learning can use the iPosyandu application as a learning medium in professional training. However, success in the asynchronous learning process using the iPosyandu midwife application is related to the characteristics of the training participants. This research aims to analyze aspects of blended learning based on the characteristics of education and training (training) participants based on the iPosyandu Midwife Application. This research method used quasi-experimental with posttest design. Data were collected in this research by giving questionnaires about aspects of blended learning to 95 midwives with analysis of bivariate data with the Spearman statistical test using STATA version 15 software. This study showed no relationship between aspects of blended learning (pedagogical design, social design, ethnic design, different options) and the characteristics of training participants (age, education, occupation, period). work, last training) with a value of r=0.00-0.20; p-value>0.005. Thus, the iPosyandu Midwife application as mobile learning (mLearning) can contribute to learning for trainees using the Blended Learning method. iPosyandu midwife application can be used by trainees with various ages, education levels, occupations, and tenure, as well as training experience.

Abstract

Background: Clinical learning plays an important role in midwifery education because students can apply theoretical knowledge to real-life practice. Effective clinical learning can enhance students' practical skills, critical thinking, and self-confidence, while also offering direct learning experiences with clients. This is important in building students' clinical competence to support their careers as midwives.Aims: This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the clinical learning of midwifery students and to understand how these factors impact the learning process. Methods: A scoping review was conducted in this study. The articles used were those published in the last five years, from 2019 to 2024, following the inclusion and exclusion criteria, which resulted in13 articles. Results: The scoping review's findings revealed that student characteristics, practice areas, guidance, and supervision, as well as learning and assessment methods, had a significant impact on the effectiveness of midwifery students' clinical learning. Conclusion: Fostering good relationships among educational institutions, preceptors, and midwifery students is very important for achieving clinical learning objectives.Innovation in clinical learning is needed to enhance the competencies of midwifery students.

Abstract

Selama kehamilan, kebutuhan nutrisi meningkat dibandingkan dengan wanita yang tidak hamil. Makanan bergizi selama hamil meliputi asupan energi, protein, vitamin dan mineral. Namun di negara-negara berpenghasilan rendah-menengah. Pemenuhan kebutuhan asupan makanan ibu hamil menjadi tantangan yang menyebabkan terjadinya defisiensi mikronutrien sehingga diperlukan suplementasi mikronutrien. Tinjauan pustaka ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh suplementasi mikronutrien terhadap dampak pada kehamilan. Artikel ini disusun menggunakan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis (PRISMA). Database diambil dari Science Direct, PubMed, Cochrane, dan SAGE Journal dengan kata kunci “Micronutrient during Pregnancy” OR “Micronutrient Supplementation of Pregnancy” OR “Micronutrient of Pregnant Women” OR “Supplementation of Pregnancy”. Sepuluh artikel dianalisis mengenai desain tujuan, hasil serta kesimpulan. Hasil tinjauan pustaka ini menjelaskan bahwa suplementasi mikronutrien untuk ibu hamil yang penting yaitu zat besi (Fe), asam folat, kalsium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), tembaga (Mg), seng (Zn) dan vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin D. Suplementasi ini dapat dikonsumsi sesuai apa yang dibutuhkan tubuh. Dampak konsumsi suplementasi selama hamil yaitu dapat mencegah terjadinya anemia, gizi buruk, dan preeklamsia/eklampsia pada ibu hamil, bayi lahir pendek, prematur, berat badan lahir rendah dan kematian.

Abstract

Pengetahuan ibu balita kurang mengenai pola asuh dalam pemberian makan pada bayi dan balita, maka diperlukan edukasi komprehensif mengenai pola asuh pemberian makanan pada balita yang diawali dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran ibu dalam memberikan pola asuh kepada balita untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting pada balita. Metode pengabdian  ini merupakan pengabdian  cross sectional dengan pendekatan pengabdian  kuantitatif yang dilakukan pada bulan Oktober di Aula Puskesmas Caringin. Adapun pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, dengan memberikan edukasi tentang pola asuh dalam pemberian makan pada bayi dan balita secara komprehensif kepada ibu yang memiliki bayi dan balita. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat didapatkan sebagian besar ibu yang memiliki balita dengan karakteristik usia 20-35 tahun (15 orang), pendidikan SMA/SMK (11 orang), dan pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga (21 orang). Namun, sebagian kecil pengetahuan ibu lebih baik setelah diberikan edukasi tentang dukungan dalam pemberian asi eksklusif (5 orang), pola asuh yang dapat mencegah terjadinya stunting (20 orang), pemberian variasi sayuran dan buah (20 orang). Simpulan dari kegiatan ini bahwa pentingnya pengetahuan ibu dalam memberikan pola asuh pada balita yang dimulai dari memberikan ASI Eksklusif, memberikan makanan, dan memantau pertumbuhan untuk mencegah stunting pada balita. Implikasi kegiatan ini, ibu dapat memperbaiki pola asuh dalam pemberian makan sesuai dengan kebutuhan asupan gizi dan usia bayi dan balita sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya balita stunting.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has established a new policy, namely Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Curriculum (MBKM). However, the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is not always smooth across higher education institutions. This article aims to explore how this curriculum is implemented and what challenges are encountered in its implementation. The researcher uses a narrative review by outlining findings from 12 related studies sourced from Google Scholar, Researchgate, and Semantic Scholar. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) in higher education is influenced by curriculum flexibility, faculty participation, collaboration with the industrial sector and educational partners, as well as student participation. The challenges faced include curriculum adjustment, course conversion, online mentoring, limited infrastructure, collaboration with partners, limited funding, regulations, and a lack of information and support. In conclusion, the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum in higher education in Indonesia has the potential to improve the quality of higher education. However, further efforts are needed to overcome the various existing challenges.

Abstract

Currently, midwifery services are strengthened by the use of various technologies, so midwives are required to be able to use smartphone-based applications (mobile Health) in recording and reporting Maternal and Child Health (MCH) data and improving lifelong competency based on applications (mobile Learning). This community service activity aims to strengthen midwives' abilities in digital literacy based on the midwife's iPosyandu application to improve MCH services. The method of implementing the activity is in the form of training in the use of the iPosyandu Bidan application. The results of the evaluation of this activity were that most midwives were able to use the midwife's iPosyandu application by quickly learning to input data (mean>5.57) and search for midwifery information (mean>5.65) to improve competence (mean>5.68), and provide health services (mean>5.52). Midwives have good digital literacy when using the Bidan applications such as mHealth and mLearning. Recommendations for the next community service activity are that midwives can provide health services in the form of health education to patients based on the iPosyandu Bidan application.

Abstract

Surgical site infections are infections that occur within 30 days of a surgical procedure, including infections in the post-sectio caesarea area that are common and can cause significant morbidity. This study aims to comprehensively identify and analyze the risk factors associated with post-sectio caesarea infection. The method used was a literature review with a PEO framework (Population: post-sectio caesarean section; Exposure: associated risk factors; Result: incidence of infection). Article searches were carried out systematically in official databases such as Google Scholar, Pubmed, Science Direct, and Scopus with the keywords "risk factors" AND "surgical site infections" AND "sectio caesarea", published 2018-2023. The results of the study found eight articles that showed risk factors for post-cesarean section infection, including: the number of vaginal examinations ≥ 5 times, rupture of the amniotic sac ≥ 12 hours, chorioamnionitis, long duration of labor (≥12 hours and ≥ 24 hours), estimated intraoperative blood loss of 500 to ≥ 1000 cc, intraoperative blood transfusion, emergency sectio caesarean section, operative duration of more than 1 hour,  previous history of cesarean section, obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and anemia. Understanding and managing infection risk factors effectively is expected to reduce the infection rate in the surgical area, and infection prevention can be done by implementing treatment packages.
