Abstract

This development research is based on problems in learning IPAS and the low science literacy skills of elementary school students. The purpose of the research is to develop ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials to improve science literacy skills. This research uses R&D with the ADDIE model approach. Data collection techniques include: questionnaires and documentation. The results of research and development show that the material expert validation consists of 3 validators, which obtained an average value of 83 with a very feasible category to use. While the media expert obtained an average value of 86 with a category very feasible to use. Learning experts get an average value of 87 with a category very feasible to use. So it can be concluded that ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials are very feasible to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of using the open the box type wordwall educational game on the cognitive learning outcomes of IPAS students at SDN Palumbonsari 1, East Karawang District. This study used a quantitative method of pre-experiment type with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SDN Palumbonsari 1, totaling 135 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, so the sample in this study was class IV A with a total of 46 people. Data collection techniques using multiple choice tests as many as 30 items before and after treatment. Then carried out feasibility testing with validity test obtained 20 valid items, reliability test obtained r11 0.73, differentiator test and difficulty level.  Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. Then the statistical hypothesis test was carried out with the paired sample t-test test obtained a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05, meaning that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the open the box type wordwall educational game on the cognitive learning outcomes of IPAS students at SDN Palumbonsari 1.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews at SD Al-Hikmah Indonesia that the learning carried out is still limited due to time so that only the target of material completion is pursued, while the achievement of learning outcomes and students' understanding of concepts is still lacking. Learning is only student-centered. For this reason, there is a need for appropriate and effective methods in learning. Therefore, researchers tried to use a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach to overcome this problem. This research uses a pretest-posttest control group design, data collection techniques using test and non-test data. Test data was obtained from pre-test and post-test results, while non-test data was obtained from questionnaires. This research took as subjects students of class IV A and students of class IV B. In this research three meetings were held which included pre-test, learning and post-test. After applying this approach, the average gain for the experimental class was 0.49 and the control class was 0.25. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' post-test results in learning using the jigsaw type cooperative learning approach. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of this approach on science learning on the subject of natural resources. The results of this research are recommended as a reference for further research, especially research that uses a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach in learning natural resources in order to improve students' understanding of concepts better in the future.

Abstract

Berdasarkan perkembangan bonus demografi, Indonesia memiliki potensi jumlah penduduk dengan populasi umur produktif sebanyak 185,34 juta jiwa. Khususnya para mahasiswa/i yang ada di perguruan tinggi. Hal ini menjadi sebuah peluang yang ditangkap dalam penelitian ini, dengan tujuan untuk membuat strategi peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa melalui model sertifikasi kompetensi demi membentuk lulusan sarjana yang berkualitas. Kompetensi ini dinyatakan dengan kepemilikan sertifikat kompetensi dari suatu lembaga yang diakui/terakreditasi. Dengan demikian mahasiswa Pendidikan tinggi dapat mengikuti uji kompetensi. Sehingga, mahasiswa ketika lulus ujian sarjana akan mendapatkan ijazah dari pendidikan tinggi dan juga Sertifikat Kompetensi. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa perguruan tinggi Pengaraian berada pada posisi Growth (pengembangan) yang memiliki peluang dan kekuatan. Untuk mencapai posisi tersebut maka perlu memperhatikan langkah-langkah strategi apa yang akan digunakan, bagaimana evaluasi strategi tersebut sebelum mengambil suatu keputusan.

Abstract

Purpose – In the world of education, learning media has a very important role to increase the enthusiasm of students during the learning process. However, the limited media available in schools is one of the problems, thus encouraging teachers to create innovative and creative learning media independently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using powtoon animation video-based learning media on cognitive learning outcomes of elementary school students.Method – This study used quantitative research methods with a pre-experimental research design of one group pretest-posttest. The research sample was fifth grade students totaling 35 students. The location of this research was SDN Dawuan Barat I in the 2023/2024 school year. The data analysis technique employed requires test analysis. The data analysis technique employs prerequisite analysis in the form of validity, reliability, normalcy, and homogeneity tests, whereas the hypothesis test employs the independent sample t-test.Findings – The result of this study indicate the effect of media use. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of powtoon animated video media has an influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in class V IPAS subjects at SDN Dawuan Barat I. This can be seen in hypothesis testing using paired sample t test calculation obtained Sig value. This can be seen in hypothesis testing using the calculation of paired sample t test obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, because 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus, proving that the use of powtoon animated video media has an effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes in IPAS subjects. Research Implications – Cognitive learning outcomes of primary school students can be improved by using powtoon animation video-based media in IPAS learning in class IV at SDN Dawuan Barat I Cikampek.

Abstract

Technological developments encourage digitization in the learning process. Inversely proportional to the results of competency evaluation which are still centralized. Cause competitiveness and competence of students that are not measured quantitatively. The application of micro-teaching can be an option in solving existing problems. Combining gamification and blockchain makes the learning process more enjoyable with game techniques, where activities such as learning, lecture assignments, and assessments are documented transparently and have reliable security. This student-centered learning process is called GamiChain (Gamification Blockchain). This blockchain gamification-based learning application is also an important activity that can be a brilliant breakthrough in education. This application aims to encourage the student creativity ecosystem, to make students have a more competitive spirit to compete with maximum capabilities. And can display learning outcomes in the form of certificates that are accurate in authenticity and can be used in the industrial world. GamiChain can form an official standard of learning by documenting lectures permanently, transparently, and distributed formally and informally into the Blockchain network with the help of smart contracts. The Gamification method in education is used in this research. Results Evaluation of blockchain application in education through GamiChain (Gamification Blockchain) can benefit universities to create official certifications and increase confidence in student scores transparently and sustainably that they can control.

Abstract

TThis study aims to analyze the level of consistency in worship harmony among Muslims from Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Persatuan Islam (Persis), and Muhammadiyah residing in the same housing complex. This research was conducted in the Koba Cluster, a residential neighborhood in Purwakarta, using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Using participatory observation and in-depth interviews, this research reveals daily religious practices, values adopted, and challenges faced in maintaining harmony. The results show that despite differences in spiritual understanding and practice, tolerance and mutual respect remain strong between the two groups. However, some challenges need to be overcome, such as differences in the interpretation of religious teachings and external influences. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding religious harmony at the micro level, as well as implications for efforts to foster a harmonious society.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) policy in elementary schools across South Sulawesi Province during its first semester of execution. The research background stems from the urgency of improving school-age children’s nutrition as part of a broader human resource development strategy. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using an evaluation study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and parents; direct observation of meal distribution processes; and analysis of policy documents and implementation reports. The evaluation approach adopted in this study is the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) developed by Malcolm Provus. This model focuses on analyzing the gap between the established standards of the MBG policy and its actual implementation in schools. The evaluation process includes: (1) identifying program standards or criteria, such as meal portions, nutritional content, and distribution mechanisms; (2) measuring actual performance through observations and interviews; (3) comparing standards and implementation outcomes to detect discrepancies; and (4) analyzing the causes of these discrepancies and providing recommendations for improvement. This approach allows the researcher to systematically identify areas of strength as well as areas needing improvement, providing a strong basis for data-driven decision-making. Data analysis employed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the MBG program has had a positive impact on student attendance, learning motivation, and nutritional awareness among pupils. However, challenges were identified, including budget constraints, unequal distribution of food supplies, and a lack of training for school nutrition staff. This study provides practical contributions for local governments and education offices to improve program effectiveness, as well as academic contributions for developing school-based nutrition policy studies. Recommendations include strengthening cross-sectoral coordination, optimizing budget allocation, and enhancing the capacity of school personnel. Thus, this initial evaluation serves as an important foundation for formulating sustainable policies to support children’s optimal growth and development.
