Abstract

Leadership management involves planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the efforts of members of an organization to achieve goals. Principal management is crucial in creating teaching and learning situations for teachers and students. They provide guidance, assistance, supervision, and assessment on technical implementation and development of teaching education programs. Teachers play a significant role in influencing the quality of education, and professionalization of teachers is essential for optimal service delivery. However, many teachers struggle with pedagogical competence, mastering teaching material, and presenting meaningful learning activities. Additionally, the school principal’s busy life often prevents proper implementation of guidance and supervision, resulting in teachers not showing expected professionalism. Research is needed to address these issues. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The object of this research is the principal’s management in improving teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III. This research uses a descriptive paradigm approach with qualitative research methods. The data in this research was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher found that the principal at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III has been effective in increasing teacher professionalism through planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. They provide guidance, opportunities for self-development, and support for teachers’ activities. However, challenges include the incompatibility of scientific background with the field, teachers’ low interest in self-development, lack of understanding of curriculum content, low use of technology, and low awareness of individual teachers’ duties.

Abstract

Education is the basic capital for improving the quality of good human resources and achieving success in the national development process in all fields. Education aims to provide various proactive and creative efforts by all components of the nation so that the young generation can develop optimally. School principals play an important role in efforts to mobilize teachers to have work performance, mature coordination, and leadership that is in harmony with the work environment. The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of managerial leadership, the work discipline of school principals, and the influence of both together on teacher performance in high schools throughout Banyuasin I Regency. This research was carried out at SMAN 1 Banyuasin I, SMAN 2 Banyuasin I, and SMA YP Mantra Mariana Banyuasin I Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis. The sampling methodology uses probability sampling. Research shows that the performance of teachers in high schools in Banyuasin I Regency is quite good, but there is a significant gap between the number of teachers and the number of students. The research results show that teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Banyuasin I is still low, with a high percentage of teachers in 2017/2018 and a low percentage of teachers in 2018/2019. This shows the need for further research regarding teacher management and teacher discipline to improve teacher performance in high schools throughout Banyuasin I Regency.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of school culture, academic supervision, and school culture on the teaching quality of high school teachers in Banyuasin I District, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted at one of the high schools in Banyuasin I District using quantitative methods. The population was 121 teachers, using probability sampling techniques. A sample of 93 people was determined using the Slovin formula. The results of the research show that school culture and principal supervision have a positive effect on the teaching quality of high school teachers in Banyuasin I District. The combination of school culture and academic supervision contributes to the overall quality of teacher teaching.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the Indonesian education system, causing changes in students’ cultural learning patterns and decreased creativity. Schools are restructuring their learning culture to focus on students and adapt to the environment. Indonesian government education system law no. 20 of 2003 mandates cultural values, cultural acculturation, and fostering independent learning. Teachers play an important role in motivating students and implementing a culture of independent learning, which has a positive impact on their learning process. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing a culture of independence in learning at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Islands Province. This research uses a phenomenological approach and qualitative methods to collect data and information from informants. The research aims to build a culture of independence, minimize teacher-student understanding and increase effective communication relationships between students. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Data collection in qualitative research includes observation, interviews, and documentation and data can be taken from several sources. The analysis and sharpness of qualitative research is greatly influenced by the strength of the words and sentences used in the literature. The objects of the research were students at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The results of the research show that at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, the focus on independent learning is emphasized through emotional intelligence, cultural habituation, and the character education system. The Pancasila learner profile emphasizes six dimensions: faith, piety, noble character, global diversity, and independence. Independent learning involves creating a study schedule, discussing with teachers, and applying critical reasoning skills. Constructivism theory encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving, thereby leading to increased motivation and academics success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kreativitas Guru dan Sarana Prasarana Terhadap Mutu Pembelajaran Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Kecamatan Ogan Komering Ilir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian penelitian expost facto. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 guru PAUD di Kecamatan Ogan Komering Ilir. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kreativitas guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran PAUD di Kecamatan Ogan Komering Ilir; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sarana prasarana terhadap mutu pembelajaran PAUD di Kecamatan Ogan Komering Ilir; 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama kreativitas guru dan sarana prasarana dan terhadap mutu pembelajaran PAUD di Kecamatan Ogan Komering Ilir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Sekayu; 2) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Sekayu; 3) mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Sekayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linear berganda. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja guru. Maksudnya yaitu semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, maka kinerja guru akan semakin menurun, 2) ada pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru. Maksudnya yaitu semakin tinggi motivasi maka kinerja guru akan semakin meningkat, 3) ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru dengan presentase 34.6%, jika mencapai 100% maka bersisa 65,4% yang disebabkan faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan konsep diri terhadap kinerja guru SMP atau MTs Negeri dan Swasta di kecamatan Sanga Desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian sebanyak seratus tiga puluh dua orang yaitu guru PNS, guru tidak tetap, dan guru honorer di SMP atau MTs negeri dan swasta di Kecamatan Sanga Desa. Sampel penelitian sebanyak sembilan puluh sembilan orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data analisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru SMP atau MTs negeri dan swasta di kecamatan Sanga Desa;  konsep diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru SMP atau MTs negeri dan swasta di kecamatan Sanga Desa; dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan konsep diri secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru SMP atau MTs negeri dan swasta di kecamatan Sanga Desa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan guru terhadap media berbasis TIK di SMP Negeri tiga Plakat Tinggi Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin dalam proses pembelajaran Kurikulum dua ribu tiga belas, Untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media berbasis TIK di SMP Negeri Tiga Plakat Tinggi Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin dalam proses pembelajaran Kurikulum dua ribu tiga belas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru di SMP Negeri tiga Plakat Tinggi terhadap media TIK dalam proses pembelajaran Kurikulum dua ribu tiga belas, sudah cukup sebesar tiga puluh persen dan baik sebesar tujuh puluh persen, dan Keterampilan guru di SMP Negeri tiga Plakat Tinggi dalam menggunakan media berbasis TIK menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah menguasai keterampilan komputer, khususnya pada program Microsoft Office sebesar Seratus Persen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kualifikasi akademik terhadap nilai siswa di Sekolah Dasar; pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap prestasi siswa di Sekolah Dasar; pengaruh antara kualifikasi akademik dan kinerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap Nilai Siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Plakat Tinggi Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh kualifikasi akademik terhadap nilai siswa; ada pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap nilai siswa; ada pengaruh kualifikasi akademik dan kinerja guru terhadap nilai siswa. Kualifikasi akademik dan kinerja guru mampu mempengaruhi nilai siswa dengan kontribusi delapan puluh koma lima persen; sedangkan sisanya sembilan belas koma lima persen dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan manajemen kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak sembilan puluh sembilan orang guru PNS dari SMP negeri tujuh Prabumulih, SMP negeri delapan Prabumulih, dan SMP negeri dua belas Prabumulih. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, manajemen kepala sekolah mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, motivasi kerja dan manajemen kepala sekolah mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Prabumulih
