Abstract

Abstract The Tiktok Shop problem is getting hotter day by day. One side believes that Tiktok Shop can be a vehicle for MSMEs to expand their network and increase their market share. However, on the other hand, Tiktok Shop is actually considered a threat and challenge for MSMEs to develop their business because Tiktok Shop is different from other e-commerce, especially regarding the presence of foreign products, procedures that are not carried out well, and it is suspected that Tiktok also acts as a seller so that Tiktok Shop is too overpowered and has a big potential to kill MSME businesses. Moreover, MSMEs are the cornerstone of the Indonesian economy. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the existence of the Tiktok Shop for MSMEs, whether it is an opportunity or a threat. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research uses secondary data obtained by researchers from scientific journals, books, credible websites and other reliable sources. The analysis technique in this research uses observation analysis techniques, data collection, data selection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the existence of Tiktpk Shop for MSMEs is more of a threat than an opportunity. Keywords : Tiktok Shop, MSMEs, Challenges, Oportunity.

Abstract

Abstract The existence of employees in a company is the most important thing for the company to be able to achieve its targets and vision well, so employee turnover must be avoided in any way and under any circumstances. There are a number of factors that can reduce employee turnover intention, including a good work environment and adequate compensation for employees. This research is a quantitative research with an explantory approach. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the questionnaire method of 250 BCA Syari'ah bank employees spread throughout Indonesia including KC BCA Syari'ah Medan, KC BCA Syari'ah Palu, KC BCA Syari'ah Bojonegoro, KC BCA Syari'ah Makasar, and KCP Bank Syari'ah Central Jakarta. The research results show that the Work Environment and Compensation variables have a negative relationship and a significant influence on the Employee Turnover Intention variable. Apart from that, the job satisfaction variable is able to moderate the two hypotheses above. Keywords: Compensation, Work Environment, Job Satisfication, Employee Turnover Intention

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The research examines explicitly how adoption determinants influence Behavioral Intention (BI) and how BI, in turn, drives business performance across key functional areas—marketing, human resources, finance, and operations. A quantitative research design was employed using a cross-sectional survey of 460 MSME owners, managers, and employees from various sectors. Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 was applied to test the proposed model. Constructs were adapted from established TAM–UTAUT scales and extended with business performance measures. The results confirm that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, and Facilitating Conditions significantly influence BI, whereas Social Influence does not significantly shape adoption intention. Moreover, BI exerts a significant positive effect on marketing, human resources, financial, and operational performance, and mediates the relationship between adoption determinants and business outcomes. This study extends the TAM–UTAUT framework by empirically linking AI adoption determinants to functional business performance in MSMEs, particularly in a developing economy. The findings highlight the critical role of BI as a mediating mechanism, underscoring that adoption decisions are driven more by perceived value and ease of use than by external social pressures.

Abstract

In rural areas of Indonesia, such as Nagari Batagak, West Sumatra, limited access to health services emphasizes the need for promotive and preventive interventions. The program aims to increase awareness of regular health check-ups and the prevention of degenerative diseases. The program method was implemented on June 16, 2025, involving 35 elderly people aged 60–80 years in Jorong Sawah Liek, Nagari Batagak, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Activities included basic health checks (blood pressure, blood sugar, Body Mass Index, mid-upper arm circumference), nutritional screening (MNA), sarcopenia screening (SARC-F and handgrip strength), and cognitive screening (MMSE). Health education was provided on healthy aging, nutrition, rational drug use, and sarcopenia prevention. Data analysis was conducted using frequency distribution, univariate, and bivariate analyses. The results showed that the majority of participants were aged 60–70 years (71.4%) and female (82.9%). Obesity was not significantly associated with blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, or uric acid levels. However, older adults without obesity remain at risk for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and hyperuricemia. Handgrip strength testing showed that 56% of participants experienced muscle weakness, with a slightly higher prevalence in men (60%) than in women (55%). These findings indicate a high risk of sarcopenia, which increases susceptibility to mobility limitations and the risk of falls. Therefore, community-based health screening and education are important regardless of obesity status.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze micromanagement strategies in MSMEs in the digital era. This research approach collects data through a literature review, which involves reading literature from various sources, including books, reports, articles, and journals, employing both qualitative and deductive methods. The results of this study suggest that in the digital era, MSMEs must adopt micromanagement strategies to enhance competitiveness and operational efficiency. These strategies include operational optimization through technology, digital marketing based on social media and e-commerce, financial management utilizing digital applications, and enhancing human resources and leadership through digital literacy. The utilization of consumer data also drives innovation in products and services. The successful implementation of this strategy is supported by the synergy of the digital ecosystem, including the active role of the government, technology platforms, universities, communities, and local media and influencers in providing access, mentoring, and sustainable promotion for MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Google Scholar indexation on the career development and performance of lecturers in higher education. Indexation in Google Scholar allows lecturers' academic work to be more accessible and recognised by the global community, which has an impact on increasing the number of citations and h-index. These metrics are often used as indicators in performance evaluation, promotion, and incentivisation in the academic environment. In addition, the visibility gained through indexation increases opportunities for research collaboration with other researchers, both at the national and international levels. The results show that Google Scholar indexation plays an important role in supporting lecturers' career recognition and development, and contributes positively to improving their performance, both in research and teaching. Thus, Google Scholar indexation not only strengthens lecturers' academic careers, but also supports efforts to improve the quality of education in higher education.
