Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of learning Arts, Culture, and Crafts (SBdP) on the subject of woven artwork and analyze how these activities can develop students' creativity in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Prambatan Kidul with a fifth-grade teacher and all fifth-grade students, totaling 25 people. This study serves to determine how SBdP learning develops the creativity of elementary school children. The results show that SBdP learning on woven artwork material is implemented through several stages, namely explaining basic concepts, introducing woven motifs, showing videos of the weaving process, and direct practice using paper materials. Students showed high enthusiasm, actively asked questions, and produced works with a variety of motifs and colors. Practice-based and visual learning helps students understand art concepts concretely which can foster creativity. Thus, SBdP learning on woven material can be an effective means to foster creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian mempunyai tujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan kegiatan kolase berbahan biji-bijian dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) di sekolah dasar serta menelaah pengaruhnya terhadap keterlibatan dan perkembangan peserta didik. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Mayong Kidul. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya dengan metode triangulasi. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kegiatan kolase biji-bijian mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna, sekaligus meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Aktivitas ini juga berperan dalam mengembangkan kreativitas, keterampilan motorik halus, koordinasi tangan-mata, serta kecerdasan visual-spasial peserta didik. Selain itu, proses berkarya dengan bahan alami menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan seperti kesabaran, ketelitian, dan tanggung jawab terhadap hasil karya. Dengan demikian, kolase biji-bijian dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif yang efektif untuk mendukung pengembangan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi media pembelajaran digital Quizizz dalam pembelajaran menyusun kalimat efektif berbasis etnolinguistik Kudus untuk siswa kelas 3 SD di lembaga bimbingan belajar Maha Private. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz yang dipadukan dengan konten etnolinguistik Kudus, mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif, kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar. Implementasi pembelajaran personal dilakukan melalui identifikasi kebutuhan individual siswa, perancangan konten berbasis kearifan lokal, penerapan gamifikasi, pemberian umpan balik instan, serta penyesuaian tingkat kesulitan materi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun kalimat efektif, khususnya pada ketepatan struktur kalimat dan pemilihan kata. Peningkatan tersebut disertai dengan bertambahnya motivasi, keterlibatan, serta pemahaman siswa terhadap bahasa Indonesia melalui pendekatan etnolinguistik yang dekat dengan kehidupan mereka.

Abstract

Batik is an Indonesian cultural heritage that not only has visual beauty, but also holds symbolic meaning and deep socio-cultural functions. One type of regional batik that is rich in local wisdom is Kudus Parijoto Batik, although its interpretation has rarely been studied academically, so there is potential for a change in meaning in this modern era. This study aims to describe the attributes of the Kudus Parijoto Batik motif, express its symbolic meaning, and explain its function in the cultural traditions of the Kudus community. It is hoped that the results of this study will increase knowledge about local arts and culture and help preserve regional batik. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, interviews with batik craftsmen and members of the cultural community, and documentation collection. Data analysis followed the model developed by Miles and Huberman, covering the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Parijoto motif is processed in a simple manner and its shape resembles the original plant. It contains meanings of gratitude and hope for fertility and safety, and functions as clothing for traditional, religious, and daily life activities.

Abstract

Abstract: Character education is an important aspect in the formation of children's attitudes and behaviors in elementary school. Drumband extracurricular activities serve as an effective tool in combining the development of musical arts skills and the cultivation of character values. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of extracurricular activities of drumbands and analyze their influence on the development of children's musical arts skills and character in elementary schools. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted at SD Negeri 1 Kedungwaru Kidul, Demak Regency. The research subjects included grade IV students, classroom teachers, and drumband coaches. Techniques for collecting data include observation, interviews, and document collection, while data validity is tested through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of the study showed that the extra drumband activities were carried out well and sustainably. Student involvement in this activity has a positive effect on the development of musical skills in the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective fields. Students can play musical instruments correctly, know the different types and purposes of musical instruments, and show an attitude of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and confidence. In addition, drumband activities also help increase creativity and student achievement. Keywords: Extracurricular Drum Band, Character Education, Music Arts, Elementary School. Abstrak: Pendidikan karakter adalah aspek penting dalam pembentukan sikap dan perilaku anak-anak di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband berfungsi sebagai alat yang efektif dalam menggabungkan pengembangan keterampilan seni musik dan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband serta menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap pengembangan keterampilan seni musik dan karakter anak-anak di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Kedungwaru Kidul, Kabupaten Demak. Subjek penelitian meliputi siswa kelas IV, guru kelas, dan pelatih drumband. Teknik untuk mengumpulkan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumen, sementara validitas data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstra drumband dilakukan dengan baik dan berkelanjutan. Keterlibatan siswa dalam aktivitas ini memberikan efek positif pada pengembangan keterampilan musik di bidang psikomotor, kognitif, dan afektif. Siswa bisa memainkan alat musik dengan benar, mengetahui berbagai jenis serta tujuan alat musik, dan menunjukkan sikap disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerjasama, serta kepercayaan diri. Abstract

Pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) memiliki peran penting dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas, rasa estetika, serta kemampuan ekspresi diri peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa melalui kegiatan seni rupa di SD 1 Rahtawu, Kabupaten Kudus. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru dan siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Project Based Learning (PjBL) untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan seperti membuat kolase dari bahan bekas dan mengukir sabun sederhana menjadi sarana efektif bagi siswa untuk menyalurkan ide serta mengembangkan imajinasi. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, bekerja sama dengan baik, dan percaya diri dalam menampilkan hasil karya. Kesimpulannya, strategi guru yang inovatif dan berpusat pada siswa mampu meningkatkan kreativitas, kerja sama, serta tanggung jawab peserta didik. Solusi yang dapat diterapkan agar pembelajaran seni rupa lebih optimal adalah dengan memberikan ruang kebebasan berkreasi, memanfaatkan bahan sederhana dari lingkungan sekitar, serta memperkuat peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang memberikan motivasi dan apresiasi terhadap setiap karya siswa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan seni rupa dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan potensi kreatif dan karakter siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the recorder musical instrument as a learning medium in teaching Javanese traditional children's songs (tembang dolanan) in elementary schools, and to analyze its impact on students’ understanding. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using a case study approach at Grade I of SD 3 Adiwarno. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation, with data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that the use of recorder media enhances students' active participation, helps them follow rhythmic patterns, sing traditional songs correctly, and understand the vocabulary and meaning of Javanese lyrics. The learning atmosphere became more enjoyable, interactive, and contextual. Thus, the recorder serves not only as a teaching aid but also as an effective medium for preserving local culture through tembang dolanan.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to foster a sense of love for the homeland of students in learning Pancasila education national compulsory songs through saron media in order to increase student interest in learning at SD 4 Kandangmas Kudus. Research Methods: As for this research using an approach with qualitative methods with phenomenological design, by involving fifth grade students in singing national songs accompanied by gamelan saron musical instruments. Finding/Results: The results of this study show that the integration of gamelan saron in learning not only increases students' interest and participation, but can also deepen their understanding of national values. Despite the challenges in introducing the saron musical instrument, this approach proved effective in shaping the character of discipline and nationalism. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the importance of innovation in learning methods that connect culture with education to strengthen national identity from an early age.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The development of fine motor skills in mentally disabled students is still a challenge in learning in special schools (SLB). This study aims to analyze the application of bamboo flute media in learning activities to stimulate the fine motor skills of students with disabilities at SLB Sunan Kudus. Research Methods: This research used a qualitative approach of the case study type, with the subject of the skills teacher and five middle-level mentally disabled students. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews and direct observation, while data analysis used thematic techniques with triangulation of techniques and sources. Finding/Results: The results showed that the use of bamboo flute media was able to improve finger coordination, motor accuracy, and student concentration during the learning process. The teacher also said that the bamboo flute is an interesting and easy-to-use media for students, although adaptation is needed in the early stages of use. This study has limitations in the number of subjects and a single school context, so it is recommended that future studies involve more participants and develop other traditional media variations that are suitable for the characteristics of students with special needs.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to characterize how well a digital pianica application, when integrated as an interactive learning tool, can improve learning interest, understanding of number notation, and the ability to play the national song "Ibu Kita Kartini" in fourth grade elementary school. Research Methods: Descriptive qualitative methodology was used, and data were collected through documentation, interviews, and observations. Finding/Results: According to the study findings, the use of the pianica program can increase students' enthusiasm, make it easier for them to understand number notation, and inspire their courage and overall musical ability. The program makes learning fun and efficient by offering customizable activities along with attractive visual and audio displays. Conclusion: These results highlight the value of using digital media as an alternative to traditional methods of teaching music in elementary schools.
