Abstract

Education is a person's process of developing an education system. In the learning process, the media has a function as a means of communication and must be used in every learning process. The purpose of writing this article is to inform about the importance of the Example non Example model-based social studies learning module in elementary schools, the benefits it generates especially in the development of cognitive abilities and the various ways that can be done in carrying out learning using Example non Example based Modules. The writing of this article uses a literature review approach using secondary data obtained from various research data. The results of the study found that in general the media used were learning modules because they were considered easier to use. Through the Example Non Example Model-based learning module students will find it easier to access everything related to learning material and will become a source of independent learning for students. Thus, the Example non Example-based learning module will be able to develop students' cognitive abilities to the fullest, especially in elementary school age students. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the cooperative model of the Make A Match type affected the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in social studies learning. The type of research applied is an experiment with a true experiment design, in the form of a pretest-posttest control group. The class IV samples at SDN 06 Piai Tangah and class IV at SDN 07 Piai Tangah were selected using a random cluster technique. The results of the study show that the cooperative model of the Make A Match type has an effect on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students with a t-count score (4.9045) > t-table (1.697).

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of obtaining data and information about "How is the Impact of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach and Learning Styles on Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes in Elementary Schools?". This study used an experimental approach with a 2x2 factorial by level design. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 06 Piai Tangah. The research subjects were VA and VB class students, totaling 60 students. When the research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sampling technique used is the Random Sampling technique by taking 2 classes at random. The results of the study were analyzed using a two-way analysis of variance technique (ANAVA 2 x 2). Prior to ANAVA, a requirements analysis test was carried out, which included the normality test with the Lilifors test and the calculation results of the advanced test using the Tuckey test. The results of the study show that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Learning Style approaches can improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Progress that is increasingly undeniable in the world of technology in the era of the industrial revolution 5.0, is increasingly creating changes especially in the culture that is passed through the educational process, called modernization. with the relationship between modernization and education, of course, it also has good and bad impacts, especially on students who are the main figures in education. the focus in this research is how modernization has a bad impact on education. traced through library research. library research is a research conducted using literature. the results of the study found that there were many negative impacts of modernization on education. for example like internet addiction, students no longer rely on teachers and others. That's why the role of the teacher/counseling teacher is needed to guide students so they can minimize these impacts. as well as assistance from all parties and also parents

Abstract

Media pembelajaran harus digunakan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Media pembelajaran dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menginspirasi dan memotivasi siswa dalam belajar yang nantinya akan meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan review literatur tentang penggunaan media video pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitataif dengan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Artikel yang direview dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2014 dan 2022 membahas tentang video pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada siswa Seolah Dasar. Artikel berasal dari jurnal nasional terakreditasi yang diperoleh dari Google Schooler melalui aplikasi Publish or Perish. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaan matematika di Sekolah Dasar sangat cocok dengan menggunaan video pembelajaran. Hal ini dikarenakan video pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa belajar lebih efektif dan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

The era of educational decentralization has brought fundamental changes in various lives, including educational life. With decentralization, schools will be free to manage resources and sources of funds by allocating them according to priority needs, as well as being more responsive to local needs. Teacher activity and creativity can be realized if a school work climate is created that is conducive and appropriate to the objectives of the activity. The Education Office (including supervisors) does not interfere in the management of learning which is the full responsibility of the school principal. Schools belong to the local community, BP3 and parties who care about the interests of the school. So that students will become subjects not only objects that directly become the focus of the target involved by the teacher in selecting activities.

Abstract

The drug abuse in adolenscent circle, at Vocational High School,  is increasing significantly. The group of counceling service in a school is rarely used for preventing drug abuse. Most of the group counceling is used for solving about some problems, such as learning, personal, social, and career problem. This study is aimed to procude a simple, valid, and efective guidlines for the counceling group, to improve students self control in preventing drug abuse. This study is a development (Research and Development) with ADDIEmodel (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). TheSubjectof this study is the students at Vocational High School and the counceling teacher in school. The validity of this study is done by six experts who is related to this study and the guidlines display. The usability test is done by three of the counceling teacher. The data  analysis is descriptive and inferensial analysis with Koefisien Kendals statistic test. The study shows that: (1) The level of material suitability is very receivable with 93 percentage and guidlines display is also in proper category with 91 percentage, (2) The using of group counseling guidlines for improving students self control too prevent a drug abuse is in the best category with 87 percentage. It concludes that, this guidlines is proper to used by the counceling teacher and councelor as a tools in doing counceling in a counceling group as an effort to improve student self control in preventing a grud abuse.

Learning outcomes of students with high motivation who were taught with Quantum Teaching strategies are better than highly motivated learners taught by conventional strategy. The same thing shown that low-motivated learners who taught with Quantum Teaching strategies are better than low-motivated learners taught by conventional learning strategy.

Abstract

The training and workshop activities are carried out based on the phenomenon of the many problems that have arisen in the global era with sophisticated and modern technology today, one of the events experienced by many junior high school students is sexual harassment both physically and verbally. For this reason, counselors and counselors must make various counseling and counseling services, one of which is group guidance services, including efforts to prevent sexual harassment among students. Group counseling services can be done with a variety of approaches, one of which is the approach and techniques of expressive therapy counseling. The expressive therapist believes that individuals are different in expressing what is in themselves, there are individuals who are more open to express what is felt in him, including communicating the anxiety he feels. The results show that there is an increase in understanding and knowledge of school counselors / school counselors, especially in terms of implementing counseling in schools. During this time in school, counseling teachers carry out counseling with traditional methods, namely asking with special techniques, but after this training the counseling teacher can conduct counseling with an expressive therapy approach.

Abstract

Keberhasilan program layanan bimbingan dan konseling (BK) di sekolah tidak hanya ditentukan oleh keahlian dan keterampilan para guru BK itu sendiri, namun juga sangat ditentukan oleh komitmen, kerjasama dan keterampilan seluruh staf sekolah. Realitas di sekolah, pada umumnya guru BK/konselor di sekolah banyak melakukan kegiatan non-konseling seperti guru BK/konselor bekerja sebagai tenaga yang bertugas mendisiplinkan siswa, sebagai tenaga pengelola serta pengumpul dokumen sekolah dan sebagai tenaga administrasi ujian siswa (Lowery et al., 2018; Fye et al., 2020). Hasil diskusi awal dengan 5 orang kepala sekolah di Kabupaten Agam pada bulan April 2021 tentang kinerja guru BK/konselor  dan pengawasan kepala sekolah yang mengemukakan bahwa mereka belum mengetahui sepenuhnya pekerjaan yang semestinya dikerjakan guru BK. Mereka menyatakan bahwa kerja guru BK sebagai profesi yang pekerjaannya mudah yaitu bekerja kalau ada siswa yang bermasalah di sekolah saja. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru BK/konselor  dan pengawasan kepala sekolah SMP Negeri dan Swasta dalam penyelenggaraan pengawasan pelaksanaan BK di sekolah, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat melaksanakan workshop di SMPN 2 IV Koto Kab. Agam. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Aula Pertemuan SMPN 2 IV Koto Kab. Agam, Sabtu 24 September 2022. Dalam kegiatan ini hadir Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kab. Agam, Bapak Drs. Isra, M.Pd., Ketua Pelaksana yang sekaligus pemateri Prof. Dr. Neviyarni S., M.S., Kons., pemateri Prof. Dr. Sufyarma M., M.Pd., dan Dr. Riska Ahmad, M.Pd., Kons. Anggota Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat terdiri dari Prof. Dr. Firman, M.S., Kons., Dr. Irda Murni, M.Pd., Yenni Elfira S.Pd., M.Pd., Kons., dan Sambas Sugiarto, S.Sos., M.Pd. Workshop mengenai pegawasan kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan BK ini dilakukan pemberian pemahaman kepada kepala sekolah agar dapat mengawasi dan mensupervisi kegiatan guru BK/konselor di sekolah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan evaluasi.
