Abstract

The Balinese cow are able to utilize low quality feed to meet basic the needs The reserch aims to study the diversity of rumen bacteria of Balinese cow that is maintained in the people’s farm of Somba Opu District of Gowa Regency. The subjects of this research consisted of 8 adult Balinese cow that were obtained from the people’s farm of Somba Opu District of Gowa Regency. Adult Balinese cow was divided into two groups, i.e. control group consisting of 3 cows and treatment group consisting of 5 cows. The former was given local feeds of straw and field grass and the latter was given the same feed plus suplement feed. The results of the research indicate that nutritional content in the feed for control group consists of crude protein (22.81%) and crude fiber (4.41%), while the one in treatment group consistens of crude protein (7.47%) and crude fiber (35.19%). This indicates that nutritional content of the treatment group is higher than that of control group. The high nutrition in the feed of treatmnet group is indicatede by high protein and low fiber. This is caused by the use of urea, fish meal, and soybean meal. The high fiber in the feed is caused by feed materials consisting of straw and field grass. Thus, the result indicates that nutritional content in the treatment group is higher than the one in control group and the pH value of fluid rumen is affected by the content of VFA, NH3, and lactic acid.

Abstract

Purpose: The interactive whiteboard serves as an information hub in the queue system, displaying queue numbers in real-time and enabling user interaction. Its key features include automatic queue number management, access to additional information, and integration with technologies such as printers and QR codes. Its benefits include time efficiency, an improved customer experience, and flexibility for use across various sectors, making it an innovative solution to enhance service effectiveness. Methodology: The PKM program began with an initial analysis through site visits to the port and interviews with PPMS members. Activities included theory, practice, and queue technology simulations. Preparations involved coordination, provision of equipment, and materials. PPMS actively participated by providing facilities and attending training. Lecture, demonstration, and practice methods were applied to enhance understanding. Results: The ship queueing system at the port enhances loading and unloading efficiency. Interactive whiteboards simplify queue management with real-time features, QR codes, and technology integration. Surveys show that 90% of users find this system easy to use. Conclusions: This service proves that the application of technology in managing the queue of pompong ships at ferry ports has a significant positive impact. Limitations: The passage lacks specific data, overlooks challenges like maintenance and system failures, and has contextual gaps. It ignores scalability, usability for older users, and environmental constraints, limiting its assessment of the system’s effectiveness. Contribution: This community service demonstrates that the implementation of technology in managing the queue of pompong boats at the ferry port has proven effective in reducing waiting times, streamlining departure flows, and enhancing passenger and boat operator satisfaction.

Abstract

Enrekang Regency is one of the famous Arabica coffee-producing areas because it has a topography and climate that are suitable for the growth of coffee plants. Despite having suitable land for coffee cultivation, most coffee farmers still face several problems both internally and externally. Therefore, research is needed to determine the strategy for developing Arabica coffee farming businesses in Enrekang Regency by examining the analysis of internal and external factors. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were coffee farmers and traders, determined intentionally. Data collection used in the study included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the strategy applied to coffee farming is in quadrant one, namely Aggressive (growth-oriented strategy), or is in a dynamic growth position, or is in a strength-opportunity strategy position (using strengths to take advantage of opportunities in decision making). This shows that there is an opportunity to develop Arabica coffee farming, in addition to having greater strengths compared to its weaknesses, it also has greater opportunities compared to its threats.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify and analyze several references on the keyword digital literacy. Through Harzing's Publish or Perish, literature systematization was carried out for this study by utilizing the Scopus database. Using the SPAR-4-SLR Protocol, data analysis was carried out using Microsoft Excel, Mendeley, and Vos Viewer to provide transparency and replication. The results of this study identified 50 primary articles indexed in Scopus Q1 based on Scimago Journal Ranking (SJR). This study also found 6 knowledge clusters that support research on digital literacy with a total link strength of 55. Vos Viewer visualization revealed that "Digital Literacy" has a significant magnitude and is related to the phrase "Information Literacy and Digital Transformation" showing a clear relationship. This study has several limitations, such as obstacles in accessing databases that are limited to Scopus. Therefore, it is recommended that further research expand its data collection by using additional sources such as Emerald, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Eb-sco, Google Scholar, ProQuest, and non-Q journals such as Web of Science.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial character on the entrepreneurial intention of students in Makassar City. Entrepreneurship education in Indonesia faces significant challenges in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where most of the material taught is still theoretical and less applicable to the current generation's practical needs. Research shows that students desire more practical learning, such as business internships and digital technology training, that align with market developments. In Makassar, with a high unemployment rate among university graduates, entrepreneurship education is expected to create a generation capable of competing and creating jobs, especially through the rapidly growing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. This study employs an explanatory quantitative approach with regression analysis to test the influence of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial character on entrepreneurial intention. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation with a Likert scale. The results show that both factors have a significant impact, with entrepreneurial character contributing more to students' entrepreneurial intentions. Therefore, strengthening entrepreneurship education in higher education is crucial to fostering students' entrepreneurial intentions and competencies.

Abstract

Students in entrepreneurship study programs possess substantial potential to become future entrepreneurs. However, their entrepreneurial intention is influenced by various internal and external factors. This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of academic motivation and parental socioeconomic status on students’ entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach with a descriptive explanatory design was employed to analyze the relationships among variables. The population consisted of students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Makassar (FEB UNM). A total of 75 students were selected using proportional random sampling. Data were processed using SPSS version 27. The findings revealed that academic motivation does not have a direct effect on entrepreneurial intention but has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy. Parental socioeconomic status significantly and positively affects both self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. Although self-efficacy shows a positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, the effect is not statistically significant. However, both academic motivation and parental socioeconomic status have positive and significant indirect effects on entrepreneurial intention through self-efficacy. The study suggests that the Entrepreneurship Study Program should place greater emphasis on strategies that enhance students' self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention.
