Abstract

This quantitative research investigates the influence of Human Resource Management (HRM), Sales Management, and Strategic Management on employee work productivity and its implications for enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Tangerang region. The study employs a descriptive and associative approach, using survey methods to collect data from 150 SME employees in Tangerang. The findings reveal that effective HRM practices significantly enhance employee productivity by fostering a supportive work environment and continuous professional development. Sales Management strategies are shown to improve productivity by optimizing sales processes and customer relationship management. Strategic Management practices, including clear goal-setting and resource allocation, further boost employee productivity. Moreover, the research demonstrates that increased productivity positively impacts employees' entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging innovation and proactive business initiatives. The study concludes that integrated management practices are crucial for improving both productivity and entrepreneurial tendencies within SMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Entrepreneur Characteristics and Business Performance variables, the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation variables and MSME business performance. In this study using quantitative methods. This is because the research data is in the form of numbers and analysis uses statistics, in collecting data using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative, with the aim of testing the established hypothesis, is experimental/survey, if the problem is clear. This type of research uses associative research. serves to explain, predict and control a symptom. This method is used to answer the formulation of the problem, namely knowing the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and motivation on SMEs business performance. In this study, researchers used a questionnaire data collection technique (questionnaire). Questionnaire is a data collection technique which is done by giving a set of questions or written statements to respondents to answer. The statement questionnaire in this study was measured using a Likert 5 scale. The data analysis of this study used the smartPLS 4.0 software (Purwanto et al., 2020) and the data was obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires with social media to 300 respondents who were selected using a simple random sampling method. Based on the results of data processing and analysis that has been done, the conclusions of this study are: 1. Entrepreneurial Characteristics Affect Business Performance. In this case the characteristics of entrepreneurs are very good. Entrepreneurial characteristics can be seen from the spirit of work and hard work to realize desires. 2. Entrepreneur motivation influences business performance. In this case the motivation of entrepreneurs is very high. Entrepreneur motivation can be seen from being an entrepreneur because he has a desire to be rich. The business performance variable is also very high. This is evident from my business has the ability to compete.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the consumption of halal products has a different priority scale based on maslahah orientation. This study is qualitative. The study was located in one of the minority Muslim areas in Indonesia. In this study the object of the study was the minority Muslim community of Indonesia who are Muslim and have purchased halal products. The research data were obtained based on interviews with the minority Muslim communities in Indonesia, namely Denpasar and Gianyar in Bali Province and Kupang East Nusa Tenggara Province, who are Muslim and have purchased halal products. This study's results indicate that consumers' behavior toward halal products regarding maslahah is included in the maslahah tahsiniyah or tertiary needs, namely, needs to be needed by humans to make life more comfortable and beautiful. Maslahah tahsiniyah is a complementary or complementary maslahah in the form of breadth and propriety that can complement the previous maslahah or maslahah hajiyah. If this problem is not met, human life will be less beautiful, but it does not cause harm. This study proves that the motivational characteristics of minority Muslim consumers in consuming halal products that have a priority scale of maslahah are tahsiniyah to obtain maximum benefits from halal products that do not only focus on the aspect of beauty, but also pay attention to the aspects of halal, cleanliness, and environmental friendliness.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly changed consumer behavior, including in Indonesia. This research aims to qualitatively analyze consumer online shopping patterns in Indonesia. Using in-depth interview methods and content analysis, this research explores the factors that influence consumer decisions in online shopping, e-commerce platform preferences, as well as the challenges and obstacles they face. The research results show that ease of access, product variety and price promotions are the main factors that encourage consumers to shop online. Apart from that, trust in transaction security and product quality also plays an important role in purchasing decisions. This research also found that social media plays a significant role in influencing consumer shopping behavior through product recommendations and reviews. However, several challenges such as limited internet infrastructure and lack of technological knowledge among certain consumers remain obstacles to wider adoption of online shopping. The findings from this research provide insights for e-commerce companies and policymakers to develop more effective strategies for promoting online shopping and improving consumer experiences. This research also suggests the need for education and infrastructure improvements to support the growth of e-commerce in Indonesia.

Abstract

Gelombang perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berdampak luas dalam kehidupan manusia. Era 4.0 memaksa kita menyesuaikan seluruh kerangka kerja di setiap segmen kehidupan, termasuk pengelolaan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM). Pengelolaan usaha harus memperhatikan aspek-aspek penting seperti pelatihan, pengembangan, dan motivasi. Dalam organisasi, pengembangan SDM bukan hanya alat produksi, tetapi juga berperan aktif dalam memanfaatkan teknologi. Perkembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) sangat pesat seiring dengan tumbuhnya start-up baru. Meskipun terguncang pandemi Covid-19, pelaku usaha yang bertahan harus membuat inovasi baru untuk maju dan terbuka terhadap perubahan sosial serta teknologi digital. Secara keseluruhan, pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB) sangat terdampak oleh pandemi. Khususnya usaha di sektor makanan, minuman herbal, fashion, dan craft. Permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain: penataan lingkungan kerja yang tidak sesuai standar kesehatan, ruangan produksi yang belum teratur, dan proses produksi yang belum higienis serta kurangnya penerapan manajemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3). Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah membantu UMKM memahami penerapan standar tempat dan peralatan sesuai manajemen K3 serta memperhatikan higienitas produk. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan pelatihan. Observasi dan wawancara bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi pelaku usaha dalam penerapan K3. Pelatihan mencakup pengenalan lingkungan dan ruangan produksi yang sehat serta produk yang higienis. Metode ini bertujuan untuk mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada mitra agar mereka mampu meningkatkan standar Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3)

Abstract

This potato cracker business is located in Ciawitali Village, Warnasari Village RT / RW 01/08, Pangalengan District. Regency. Bandung - West Java is located in the southern part of Bandung Regency, which is 51 kilometers from the center of Bandung City and 23 kilometers from the capital city of Bandung Regency, namely Soreang, Pangalengan District is one of the tourism icons of Bandung Regency and still has a number of hidden potentials. This potential must still be explored and developed for the welfare of society. Some of them are culinary potentials that have not been widely known so far. Another potential that can still be explored is potato crackers, where potatoes are a superior agricultural commodity from Pangalengan. Warnasari Village is part of Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Likewise, in Warnasari Village there is still potential, where there are some people who depend on their livelihoods by exploiting the potential of several sectors of agriculture, plantations, services and others through entrepreneurship (business actors / MSMEs). Problems in general are related to business managerial, including production, human resources, finance and marketing. Priority problems for partners, namely the low motivation of partners to develop their businesses and unstructured business management, especially marketing and business development that have not yet developed. The solution offered: Implementation of entrepreneurial motivation training and business management and product marketing.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of entrepreneurial leadership in improving team performance and business growth. The background to the problem shows that many companies face challenges in achieving optimal team performance and sustainable growth. Although various leadership models have been implemented, there is a gap in the literature exploring the specific strategies used by entrepreneurial leaders to overcome these challenges. The observed phenomenon shows that leaders with an entrepreneurial orientation tend to be more adaptive and innovative in facing market changes. The importance of this research lies in its in-depth qualitative approach to understanding the dynamics of entrepreneurial leadership. The method used involves in-depth interviews with business leaders who have proven success in improving team performance and driving business growth. The data collected was analyzed using a thematic approach to identify the main strategies implemented by these leaders. The research results show that entrepreneurial leaders use various strategies such as team empowerment, measured risk taking, and continuous innovation to improve team performance. In addition, they also emphasized the importance of a clear vision and effective communication to encourage team spirit and collaboration. Discussion of the results shows that these strategies not only improved team performance but also contributed to significant business growth. Thus, entrepreneurial leadership plays an important role in overcoming the challenges of team performance and business growth. This study provides valuable insights for business leaders and researchers into how entrepreneurial leadership strategies can be implemented effectively to achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kewirausahaan pada Rumah Madu Indonesia (RMI) dalam mengembangkan usaha kopi Luwak di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat. RMI, yang merupakan usaha rumahan yang didirikan pada tahun 2017, awalnya fokus pada produksi madu dan produk herbal. Namun, usaha ini menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan produk kopi Luwak, yang selama ini bergantung pada kopi yang dihasilkan dari hewan luwak liar. Dalam rangka mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut, kegiatan ini mengusulkan solusi berupa penggunaan fermentasi probiotik dari feses luwak dan enzim untuk memproduksi kopi Luwak secara berkelanjutan dan tanpa eksploitasi terhadap satwa liar. Melalui pelatihan dan diseminasi pengetahuan kepada petani dan pelaku UMKM setempat, peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang proses fermentasi kopi menggunakan bakteri asam laktat yang diisolasi dari feses luwak. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi kopi Luwak secara berkelanjutan, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat dan keberlanjutan usaha RMI.

Abstract

Hotel dan restoran merupakan penyangga untuk pengembangan destinasi wisata yang harus diimbangi dengan pengembangan hotel dan restoran. Jumlah hotel dan restoran di Kabupaten Bandung berdasarkan data dari PHRI sudah banyak tetapi tidak dapat mengikuti perkembangan yang ada, infrastruktur hotel dan penginapan tidak memadai dan tidak sesuai dengan harapan sehingga banyak yang memberikan pelayanan seadanya hal ini mengakibatkan wisatawan yang datang merasa tidak nyaman dan memilih untuk tidak menginap di sekitar Kabupaten Bandung sehingga diperlukan pengembangan hotel dan restoran tersebut. Pengembangan hotel dan restoran adalah investasi yang memerlukan modal yang signifikan. Usaha bisnis di bidang perhotelan dan restoran seringkali memerlukan investasi yang cukup besar untuk pembangunan, peralatan, staf, dan operasi. Sehingga dibutuhkan strategi pemasaran investasi yang diperlukan untuk pengembangan hotel dan restoran ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dekriptif analisis, sedangkan jenis pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Kegiatan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi dalam analisis model interaktif merupakan siklus interaktif dalam pengertian analisis kualitatif merupakan upaya yang berlanjut, berulang dan terus menerus. untuk menentukan startegi pemasaran digunakan analisis SWOT, merupakan metode perencanaan startegi yang meliputi kekuatan, peluang, kelemahan, serta ancaman yang menjadi dasar untuk menentukan strategi. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh PHRI bersama pemerintah daerah, seperti penyusunan peta potensi investasi, pelatihan bagi pelaku usaha, dan inisiasi promosi digital, menunjukkan komitmen terhadap pengembangan investasi pariwisata secara terarah. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya masih terdapat berbagai hambatan, antara lain keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, kurangnya integrasi data investasi, keterbatasan promosi digital, serta belum optimalnya sinergi antar lembaga.
