Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with assertive training techniques to increase the nature of abasement, (2) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with shaping techniques to reduce the nature of aggression, and (3) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with self-management techniques to increase the nature of endurance. This study employed an experimental study with a pre-test post-test control group. Participants involved were 37 class XI students of the Lab. School Undiksha. To recruit the participants, a purposive sampling technique was used by which the participants were students with low abasement, high aggression, and low endurance. Data were collected using scales that measure the nature of the abasement, aggression, and endurance. To test the hypothesis, the data were analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that: (1) behavioral counseling with assertive training techniques was effective for increasing the nature of abasement, (2) behavioral counseling with shaping techniques was effective to reduce the nature of aggression, and (3) behavioral counseling with self-management techniques was effective for increasing the nature of endurance.

Abstract

A number of problems are seen as a result of poor academic honesty. This study aims to identify the efficiency of cognitive restructuring counseling in improving the academic honesty of senior high school students. By using A-B single subject reversal, the intervention was carried out by providing personal counseling using the cognitive restructuring technique. In collecting the data, we used Academic Honesty Psychological Scale, while the obtained data were analyzed using visual analysis. The findings indicate that individual counseling using cognitive restructuring is effective in enhancing students’ academic honesty. Also, positive self-perception and environment facilitate students to present high academic honesty and vice versa, as illustrated by the trend of higher academic honesty during the intervention phase.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop and test a digital counseling model that integrates Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Harmony (MCBH) with digital tools to enhance students’ learning comfort and happiness in educational contexts. Methodology: A Research and Development design using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing model validity, practicality, learning comfort, and learning happiness from 280 elementary school students in Bali, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to determine the effectiveness of the model. Main Findings: The study found that the MCBH digital counseling model significantly enhanced students’ emotional regulation, learning comfort, and happiness. The digital tools used, including mobile applications and online platforms for mindfulness exercises and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, were highly effective in providing accessible, continuous emotional support. This technology not only complemented traditional counseling methods but also contributed to the learning process by fostering sustained engagement, improved focus, and enhanced academic performance, showing how digital platforms can serve a pedagogical function in education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a digital counseling model integrating mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and local cultural wisdom (Tri Hita Karana). It demonstrates how digital tools enhance emotional regulation, student engagement, and learning outcomes through continuous support and real-time feedback. The model contributes to educational technology by offering a scalable, sustainable, and culturally responsive approach to student well-being and learning support.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the project based learning model based on Balinese local wisdom Menyama Braya on the learning outcomes of science in terms of the achievement motivation of fifth grade students of Elementary School Cluster 2 Tampaksiring, Tampaksiring District in the 2025/2026 academic year . This type of research is a quasi-experimental study using a posttest only control group design with a 2 × 2 factorial design . The population of this study was fifth grade in Cluster 2 Tampaksiring, Tampaksiring District in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 184 people . Data were collected using a questionnaire method to measure achievement motivation and a test to measure learning outcomes. The collected data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was obtained: 1) there was a significant influence on the learning outcomes of students who followed the PjBL learning model based on Balinese local wisdom Menyama Braya , this was evidenced by the value (sign = 0.045, p <0.05). 2) There is an interaction between the learning model and motivation on the results of learning science, this is evidenced by the value (sign = 0.000, p <0.05). 3) In the group of students who have high achievement motivation, there is an influence of the Project Based Learning learning model based on Balinese local wisdom Menyama Braya on the results of learning science of grade V students of Elementary School Cluster 2 Tampaksiring, this is evidenced by the value (sign = 0.000, p <0.05). 4) In the group of students who have low achievement motivation, there is an influence of the Project Based Learning learning model based on Balinese local wisdom Menyama Braya on the results of learning science of grade V students of Elementary School Cluster 2 Tampaksiring, this is evidenced by the value (sign = 0.028 , p <0.05).

Abstract

Happiness is a condition where individuals tend to remember positive experiences rather than negative ones. Happiness can also be defined as a positive emotion that fuels enthusiasm and gives meaning to every individual's actions. According to the local value of Tri Hita Karana, happiness is a harmonious relationship between humans and God (Parahyangan), between humans and others (Pawongan), and between humans and the environment (Palemahan). This study addresses the low happiness of adolescent victims of divorce, which often causes emotional trauma, depression, and difficulties in social adaptation. The impacts of parental divorce include loss of affection, mental stress, and environmental changes, with triggering factors such as economics, conflict, and infidelity. This study tested the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior counseling using the Reframing technique to increase the happiness of adolescents at the Dana Punia Orphanage, Singaraja. This intervention changed negative thought patterns into positive perspectives through stages such as identifying perceptions, reframing, and follow-up. The hypothesis stated that the intervention was effective in increasing happiness indicators such as spiritual calm and harmonious relationships. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Posttest control group experimental research design with 10 samples of adolescents aged 15-21 years (5 experimental groups, 5 control groups). The intervention consisted of six sessions, measured using a Tri Hita Karana-based happiness questionnaire. Reframing techniques included rational strategies, perception modification, and homework for habituation. Cognitive Behavior Counseling with Reframing integrated with local Tri Hita Karana values effectively restored happiness through cognitive and behavioral changes. This research differs from previous studies by focusing on specific intervention experiments in the Balinese context. ABSTRAKKebahagiaan adalah kondisi individu yang cenderung mengingat pengalaman positif dibandingkan dengan pengalaman negatif. Kebahagiaan juga dapat diartikan sebagai emosi positif yang memicu semangat dan memberikan makna dalam setiap tindakan individu. Menurut nilai lokal Tri Hita Karana, kebahagiaan merupakan keharmonisan hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan (Parahyangan), hubungan antara manusia dengan sesama (Pawongan), dan hubungan antara manusia dengan lingkungan (Palemahan). Penelitian ini mengatasi rendahnya kebahagiaan remaja korban perceraian, yang sering menyebabkan trauma emosional, depresi, dan kesulitan adaptasi sosial. Dampak perceraian orang tua termasuk kehilangan kasih sayang, tekanan mental, dan perubahan lingkungan, dengan faktor pemicu seperti ekonomi, konflik, dan perselingkuhan. Menguji efektivitas konseling Cognitive Behavior teknik Reframing untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan remaja di Panti Asuhan Dana Punia, Singaraja. Intervensi ini mengubah pola pikir negatif menjadi perspektif positif melalui tahapan seperti identifikasi persepsi, reframing, dan tindak lanjut. Hipotesis menyatakan intervensi tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan indikator kebahagiaan seperti ketenangan spiritual dan hubungan harmonis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan design penelitian eksperimen Pretest-Posttest control group dengan 10 sampel remaja usia 15-21 tahun (5 kelompok eksperimen, 5 kontrol). Intervensi dilakukan 6 sesi, diukur dengan kuesioner kebahagiaan berbasis Tri Hita Karana. Teknik Reframing meliputi rasional strategi, modifikasi persepsi, dan homework untuk pembiasaan. Konseling Cognitive Behavior dengan Reframing diintegrasikan dengan nilai lokal Tri Hita Karana efektif memulihkan kebahagiaan melalui perubahan kognitif dan perilaku. Penelitian ini membedakan diri dari studi sebelumnya dengan fokus eksperimen intervensi spesifik pada konteks Bali.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji keberterimaan (acceptebillity) dan mengetahui efektivitas panduan konseling behavioral teknik modeling berbasis website LSM Schoology dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab belajar siswa. Studi ini dilakukan berdasarkan prosedur penelitian pengembangan mengikuti model pengembangan 4D oleh Triagarajan. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 orang praktisi dan ahli yang menilai sistem konseling secara teoritis, juga melibatkan 30 orang siswa sebagai responden uji coba terbatas keefektifan sistem konseling. Data tentang keberterimaan, kemudahan akses, dan kebermanfaatan sistem dan modul konseling diperoleh melalui skala AAF, dan data tanggung jawab belajar diperoleh melalui skala tanggung jawab belajar. Analisis data terkait keberterimaan sistem konseling atau validitas teoretis berdasarkan penilaian praktisi dan ahli dilakukan menggunakan perhitungan content validity ratio. Analisis stastitik uji t-test untuk menguji efektifitas sistem konseling setelah uji coba terbatas. Tanggapan siswa peserta uji coba terhadap keberterimaan, kemudahan akses dan kebermanfaatan konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling berbasis website LMS Schoology dideskripsikan dan dilakukan analisis presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dan panduan konseling behavioral memiliki indeks validitas isi atau CVI sebesar 1 yang berarti sangat baik. Uji efektifitas melalui uji emperik terbatas menunjuukan bahwa  nilai t sebesar  2,86 pada p> 0.05 yang menunjukkan bahwa  konseling behavioral teknik modeling berbasis website LMS schoology efektif meningkatkan tanggung jawab belajar siswa. Tanggapan siswa terhadap keberterimaan, kemudahan akses dan kebermanfaatan sistem dan panduan konseling dalam kategori baik, dengan indeks rata-rata lebih dari 50% siswa setuju sistem konseling dan modul panduan mudah dipahami dan dilaksanakan, mudah diakses dan bermanfaat. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pengembangan dan inovasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah berbasis ICT, khususnya menggunakan LMS.

Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) memiliki peran penting bagi siswa supaya mampu mengatasi permasalahan melalui kemampuan sains. Pembelajaran IPAS yang diajarkan sesuai hakikatnya akan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Peneltian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya banyak permasalahan terkait  hasil belajar  siswa  sekolah  dasar  masih  menjadi  permasalahan  dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif bisa diterapkan untuk mendukung dan mempermudah proses belajar IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan media komik digital intraktif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis nonequivalent control group design. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes objektif pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini meujukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing yang didukung oleh media komik digital interaktif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. Dengan  demikian,  model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan media komik digital intraktif dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-assisted comic based on Balinese local wisdom to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for third-grade elementary school students. The study employed a Research and Development method adapted from the ADDIE model, comprising the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through questionnaires and learning outcome tests and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Product validity was evaluated by experts in content, media, and language, while practicality was assessed by 15 students and 11 elementary school teachers. Effectiveness testing employed a Non-Equivalent Control Group Pretest–Posttest Design involving 19 students per group. The developed comic integrates Balinese local stories, particularly the traditions of Pengrupukan and Nyepi Day, into a child-friendly visual medium enriched with AR features, including simple animations, videos, audio narration, and supporting visual objects. The comic was designed based on the Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes for Phase B. The results indicate that the product is highly valid, with a validity coefficient of 1.00, and highly practical, with a practicality score of 92.68%. It was also effective in improving students’ learning outcomes, particularly in reading and listening comprehension, understanding story content, and information retention, as indicated by an N-Gain score of 0.79 and a Cohen’s d effect size of 1.78. In conclusion, the AR-assisted comic is valid, practical, and effective as an interactive and contextual learning medium for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by interactive video on elementary students’ science literacy, with self-regulated learning as a moderating variable in the IPAS subject. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was employed. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students in Cluster IV, Sukawati District, during the 2025/2026 academic year (N = 260). The sample was selected through simple random sampling and comprised 39 students from SD Negeri 1 Batubulan Kangin and 40 students from SD Negeri 2 Batubulan Kangin. Science literacy data were collected using a test instrument, while self-regulated learning was measured using a non-test instrument. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) in SPSS. The results indicated that the PjBL model assisted by interactive video had a statistically significant main effect on students’ science literacy (F(1,76) = 249.416, p < 0.001). Additionally, a significant interaction effect was observed between the learning model and students’ self-regulated learning on science literacy outcomes (F(1,76) = 6.363, p = 0.015). These findings suggest that interactive video–assisted Project-Based Learning is an effective instructional approach for enhancing science literacy in elementary education.
