Abstract

Abstract

The efficiency of emergency alert dissemination in highly populated and densely urban transport networks, such as Jakarta's integrated rail system, is undermined by sporadic connectivity and limited network resources. In this environment, an initial comparison of baseline Delay-Tolerant Network (DTN) routing protocols revealed that flooding-based routers, such as Epidemic, while achieving above-average delivery rates, suffered from high overhead and poor buffer utilization. This paper fills this gap by proposing the Combined Utility Router, a novel buffer management policy that overcomes the limitations of naive strategies, such as Drop-Oldest. Our approach holistically evaluates a message's value by assigning a weighted utility function based on its Time-To-Live (TTL), estimated total replicas, message size, and a user-defined priority. The router maintains high-value messages by discarding the message deemed the lowest utility score under the buffer constraint. Utility-based simulations in The ONE simulator demonstrate that applying our approach to Epidemic routing improves delivery probability, reduces average latency in high network congestion scenarios, while maintaining overhead rates. This work confirms that, in the context of developing reliable and efficient emergency communication systems for challenging urban topographies, optimizing buffer management extends beyond simply selecting the appropriate protocol.

Abstract

Libraries are essential in academic work as they expose people to structured, easily procurable information.  However, the majority of schools, including Bhayangkara University Surabaya, still face challenges in managing and storing library information because local or manual systems are substandard. The goal of this project is to deploy and test the effectiveness of Google Cloud Computing technologies, such as Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud SQL, and Google Compute Engine, on a website-based library information system.  We adopted a quantitative approach by performing experiments and system testing, i.e., black-box testing, access speed testing, and heavy load resistance testing. The result of the implementation is massive benefits, including a response time of 2 seconds on average, stability with 500 users at the same time, and storage efficiency at just 30% of the original size.  Other colleges can have an example that they can use to make a change to a cloud-based digital library from this research.  This also helps create digital library information systems that are technology-centered and dependable.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to forecast sales trend of a restaurant menus to help the restaurant management in determaining and providing recommendations for managing stocks. Forecasting was performed by applying the single moving average towards fifteen months recorded data transaction, namely January to December 2018, and Januari to March 2019 to establish monthly and daily forecast. Total data training was 10.515 recods data transaction obtained from Januari to December 2018, while data testing was 2.246 record data transaction within Januari to March 2019. Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Green Economy in cooking oil SMEs and analyze the obstacles to the implementation of Green Economy in cooking oil SMEs. Data collection was carried out by conducting in-depth interviews with objects or informants, in this case the village head of Tammeroddo, 4 groups of cooking oil MSME actors and the Karondongan hamlet community. as well as direct observation at the research location. The results of the research found that green economy applications by MSME actors in Karondongan Hamlet are divided into two aspects, namely economic aspects and environmental aspects. Both of these aspects have positive and negative impacts that need to be considered for appropriate solutions both from the cooking oil MSME actors themselves and from the Tammeroddo village government. The view of Islamic economics on the application of green economy in the economic aspect is considered to be in line, but in the environmental aspect it is considered not to comply with the principles of Islamic economics. Some of the obstacles experienced in implementing the green economy for cooking oil SMEs are: (1) the groeng oil SMEs in Karondongan hamlet do not understand in depth about the green economy concept, (2) the application of the green economy concept occurs without them realizing it, and their activities are too profitable. oriented. (3) There is no green economy training available for MSMEs in Karondongan Hamlet (4) There are no village regulations or regional government regulations governing green economy for MSMEs. For this reason, improvement is needed from the MSME actors themselves and the Tammeroddo Village government
