Abstract

Purpose: This article aims to determine the level of public awareness of paying zakat in Baznas. Methodology: The type of research used is quantitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression test analysis. Findings: The result of the research obtained is that there is a strong relationship between the level of public awareness and zakat payment in North Toraja Regency. This significant correlation indicates that the higher the public awareness, the greater their contribution to paying zakat through BAZNAS. Further analysis shows that the level of public awareness plays an important role in explaining the proportion of zakat payment, although other factors beyond awareness also affect the final result that are not examined in this study.

Abstract

This series of research activities are in the form of a routing simulation using the LEACH protocol as a cluster-based mechanism method that can improve Network Lifetime in the Wireless Sensor Network protocol, using the Network Simulator 2 application device that describes data transmission, remaining nodes, and energy used. Determination of the performance and power consumption of the wireless sensor network by testing scenario one to scenario five due to the influence of the cluster to be applied, such as scenario 1 using 1 cluster (C1) consumes an average of the energy of 0.155 joules and the data sent or obtained is 72,848 bytes. Barriers or disruptions to the clusterhead affect the performance of LEACH, so there is a need for criteria or conditions to determine which nodes should be used as clusterhead.

Abstract

This research aims to develop trash volume monitoring based on Arduino nano and orange pi. This prototype detected trash volume in the trash can, and send the information through the monitoring server via a cellular network in real-time. So that the trash management, in this case, Dinas Kebersihan, could be efficient. In which the trash can located in various places could be easily monitored through the website. The results show, optimum range for the sensor that installed in the trash can is maximal 25 cm, in which for every trash that detected by sensor must be in range of 0 cm between 4.5 cm, where the position of the sensor does not face to face so that the sensor detects more accurately in determining the volume of free space in the trash.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the State Defense (Bela Negara) strategy in achieving sustainable tourism in Sleman Regency. Sleman Regency possesses significant tourism potential, which necessitates sustainable development to ensure the preservation of its natural and cultural resources, improvement of service quality, and empowerment of local communities. This research employs descriptive qualitative methods, including interviews, observations, and literature studies, to explore these issues. The findings reveal that the Bela Negara strategy significantly contributes to sustainable tourism through enhanced environmental awareness, increased community participation, and multi-stakeholder collaboration in protecting natural resources, culture, and the environment. Tourism actors also continuously work on improving service quality and strengthening local communities through training, job creation, and cultural preservation. These efforts lead to the betterment of service quality, environmental conservation, and cultural preservation, ensuring the overall sustainability of tourism in the region. This study provides a deeper understanding of the importance of the Bela Negara strategy and highlights the need for increased cooperation among stakeholders for sustainable tourism development. The results underscore the critical role of a well-planned Bela Negara strategy that integrates social, economic, and environmental aspects to achieve sustainable tourism development in Sleman Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Green Economy in cooking oil SMEs and analyze the obstacles to the implementation of Green Economy in cooking oil SMEs. Data collection was carried out by conducting in-depth interviews with objects or informants, in this case the village head of Tammeroddo, 4 groups of cooking oil MSME actors and the Karondongan hamlet community. as well as direct observation at the research location. The results of the research found that green economy applications by MSME actors in Karondongan Hamlet are divided into two aspects, namely economic aspects and environmental aspects. Both of these aspects have positive and negative impacts that need to be considered for appropriate solutions both from the cooking oil MSME actors themselves and from the Tammeroddo village government. The view of Islamic economics on the application of green economy in the economic aspect is considered to be in line, but in the environmental aspect it is considered not to comply with the principles of Islamic economics. Some of the obstacles experienced in implementing the green economy for cooking oil SMEs are: (1) the groeng oil SMEs in Karondongan hamlet do not understand in depth about the green economy concept, (2) the application of the green economy concept occurs without them realizing it, and their activities are too profitable. oriented. (3) There is no green economy training available for MSMEs in Karondongan Hamlet (4) There are no village regulations or regional government regulations governing green economy for MSMEs. For this reason, improvement is needed from the MSME actors themselves and the Tammeroddo Village government

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Work Life Balance dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan Pada PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo. Jumlah karyawan karyawan PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo terdiri dari 13 orang dan yang menjadi informan kunci adalah informan  I yaitu Branch Support Operational Atas nama Indriyanti (key informan). Metode analisis data yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis suatu fenomena dengan cara mendeskripsikan fokus penelitian yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang diteliti. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Deskriptif kualitatif sesuai dengan pendapat Miles dan Huberman Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: Work Life Balance dapat meningkatkan kinelrja karyawan PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo pada aspek kualitas kerja, kuantitas kerja, Waktu Kerja, dan Kerja Sama sehingga Work Life Balance baik Keseimbangan Waktu (Time Balance), Keseimbangan Ketertarikan (Involvement Balance), Keseimbangan Kepuasan (Satisfaction Balance) karyawan pada PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo terimplementasi dengan baik. Karyawan sangat di berikan waktu yang cukup untuk dapat melakukan aktivitas kerja sembari waktu untuk kehidupan pribadi / keluarga dan social dengan harapan karyawan akan lebih semangat serta termotivasi untuk memberikan Kinerja terbaik, Perusahaan membuka ruang kepada karyawan untuk berpartisipasi dan terlibat dalam event atau kegiatan/projek perusahaan sehingga rasa memiliki perusahaan lebih besar, yang nantinya di harapkan karyawan akan merasa Puas berada di lingkungan perusahaan, selain itu perusahaan sangat peduli dengan kepuasan karyawan khususnya dari Segi Jenjang Carier, Financial Income, kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana kerja serta transportasi dan akomodasi yang di butuhkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study examines the genogram technique's implementation and effectiveness in enhancing students' career maturity at SMAN 2 Jeneponto. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the nonequivalent control group design. The study population consisted of 30 eleventh-grade science students, with a sample of 20 students divided into two groups: 10 in the experimental group and 10 in the control group. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations and then analyzed using descriptive statistics and a t-test. The results showed that implementing the genogram technique over five sessions significantly improved students' career maturity. Students in the experimental group demonstrated high levels of participation and greater improvements in career maturity scores compared to those in the control group. In conclusion, the genogram technique proved effective in helping students understand their career choices. These findings have important implications for school guidance and counseling practices, particularly in career guidance services. The use of genograms is effective in helping students explore their family's career background and develop greater self-awareness about their career decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the academic procrastination behavior of students at SMA Negeri 26 Bone and evaluate the Self-Management technique's effectiveness in reducing such behavior. The study uses a quantitative approach with a Single Subject Research (SSR) method and an A-B-A design. The subjects were two second-year students with high levels of academic procrastination. Data were collected through observations and interviews and then analyzed descriptively and visually. The results show that the subjects' academic procrastination was high before the intervention. After applying the Self-Management technique, there was a significant decrease in their procrastination behavior. In conclusion, the Self-Management technique effectively reduces academic procrastination among students at SMA Negeri 26 Bone. The implications of this study provide a basis for teachers and counselors to implement Self-Management techniques as an intervention strategy to improve students' learning discipline and academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and uncover the meaning of integrating To-Riolo's philosophical thought into counselor communication skills grounded in Bugis cultural values. Employing a qualitative research design, the study uses the Gadamerian hermeneutic method, which emphasizes the analysis of the part and whole to understand and interpret the text deeply. The findings reveal several key communication skills embedded in To-Riolo's teachings: orderly communication (mattarêtte'), communication-based on ade,' rapang, and enrênnge madecennge gau (traditional norms and ethical considerations), and empathic listening as expressed through concepts such as iisênngi riolo'paunna (understanding the words of predecessors), naisseng to rapannge (understanding the interlocutor), ênrênnge adê’e (weighing norms), kuae wari'e (considering timing and context), and naenngêrranngi madecennge paunna' patujue ênrênnge gau' patujue (attentively listening to words and actions that are appropriate). This study implies that these culturally rooted communication skills can be developed into a culturally sensitive model for counselor communication within the Bugis community.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate transformations in socio-religious contexts and to delineate the chronology of hadith emergence by centering the analysis on the makkiyyah–madaniyyah framework. By applying the Qur’anic theory of makki and madani to hadith literature, this approach represents a relatively novel contribution within the field of ʿulūm al-ḥadīth. The makkiyyah–madaniyyah character of hadith is identified through two primary indicators: the chain of transmission (sanad) and the text (matan). Employing a qualitative methodology and library research grounded in the canonical collections (kutub al-sittah and kutub al-tisʿah) alongside a historical approach, the data are analyzed through isnād tracing, matn examination, and contextual reconstruction, thereby elucidating the relationships among the ideal, the empirical, and the historical dimensions. The findings demonstrate that the makkiyyah–madaniyyah theory significantly enhances the mapping of hadith chronology, as its core objective is to trace the Prophet’s life trajectory in accordance with the Qur’anic makki–madani framework. Operationally, two principal indicators guide this identification: sanad and matan. Regarding the sanad, the classification of Companions into pre-hijrah, post-hijrah, and those spanning both periods facilitates the chronological charting of hadith emergence and the localization of events. Concerning the matan, shifts in socio-religious realities are discerned through themes and events characterized as makkiyyah or madaniyyah, thereby yielding both explicit and implicit historical information. This study contributes a methodological procedure that integrates isnād–matn criticism with makkiyyah–madaniyyah periodization to evaluate both the quality and chronology of hadith. Furthermore, it offers a practical toolkit for aligning ideal-normative interpretations with empirical contexts, thereby enabling a more precise historical mapping. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah pergeseran realitas serta memetakan kronologis lahirnya hadis dengan menempatkan makkiyyah-madaniyyah sebagai poros analisis. Makkiyyah dan madaniyyah pada hadis merupakan terapan dari teori makki dan madani dalam studi al-Qur’an, sehingga menjadi teori yang tergolong baru dalam ‘ulūmul hadīs. Konsep makkiyyah dan madaniyyah hadis dapat diketahui melalui dua indikator, yaitu dari aspek sanad dan matan hadis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber pustaka berbasis kitab induk kutub al-sittah dan kutub al-tis’ah dengan pendekatan historis; data dibaca melalui penelusuran sanad, pembacaan matan, dan rekonstruksi konteks sehingga relasi dunia idealis, empiris, dan sejarah tampak jelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori makkiyyah dan madaniyyah memberi sumbangsih terbesar untuk pemetaan kronologi hadis karena esensinya menelusuri rekam jejak kehidupan Nabi; sebagai terapan dari teori makki–madani dalam studi Qur’an. Konsep makkiyyah-madaniyyah hadis dapat diidentifikasi melalui dua indikator pokok: aspek sanad dan aspek matan. Pada sisi sanad, klasifikasi sahabat menjadi sebelum hijrah, sesudah hijrah, dan melintasi keduanya berfungsi sebagai sarana pemetaan kronologis lahirnya hadis, sekaligus petunjuk lokus peristiwa. Pada sisi matan, pergeseran realitas terdeteksi melalui tema/kejadian berciri makkiyyah atau madaniyyah yang menghadirkan informasi historitas, baik tersurat maupun tersirat. Penelitian ini berkonstribusi dalam merumuskan prosedur kerja yang menyinergikan kritik sanad dan matan dengan periodisasi makkiyyah-madaniyyah untuk menilai kualitas sekaligus kronologi hadis, serta menyediakan perangkat praktis bagi peneliti dalam menyelaraskan pembacaan ideal-normatif dan konteks-empiris agar peta historis hadis dapat ditarik dengan lebih akurat.
