Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui manajemen desain lingkungan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas pendidik PAUD di TK Thoyyibah Bandar Lampung. Dengan mengelola desain lingkungan yang kreatif berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan, di TK Thoyyibah pendidik menerapkan salah satu kreativitas yang dapat dikembangkan yaitu kreativitas decoupage. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Subjek yang ada pada penelitian ini yaitu pendidik, kepala sekolah dan ketua yayasan dari TK Thoyyibah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di TK Thoyyibah, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidik di TK Thoyyibah telah menerapkan kreativitas decoupage sebagai bentuk kreativitas yang dapat menjadikan pendidik anak usia dini lebih kreatif untuk mengelola desain lingkungan sekolah agar dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang berdampak positif bagi perkembangan kreativitas, emosi, seni, kognisi, bahasa, sosial dan yang lain bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran Montessori di Taman Penitipan Anak (TPA). TPA biasanya hanya memberikan pelayanan berupa pengasuhan saja, namun di Toddler Surabaya Montessori School disediakan pendidikan juga. Berbagai macam model pembelajaran yang ada pada zaman sekarang, model pembelajaran Montessori masih sangatlah jarang ditemukan di kota-kota besar. Hal tersebut mendasari penulis untuk mengetahui manajemen model pembelajaran Montessori di TPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah Toddler Surabaya Montessori School yang memiliki akreditasi A. Hasil penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Montessori memiliki fokus dan tujuan pendidikan yang khusus serta berbeda dari model pembelajaran yang lain.

Abstract

CIPS-based Training Module has been developed to encourage teachers to improve their personal skills. Hence, the aim of this study is to investigate the long-term effects of the CIPS-based Training Module on the elementary school teachers. This study used the quasi-experimental design that involved 63 elementary school teachers. The teachers were divided into the experimental and control groups to test the objective of this study. The indicators of data analysis used in this study are mean score, standard deviation and independent sample t-test. The results show that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group obtained a higher mean score than the control group, which indicates that the CIPS-based Training Module has a positive long-term effect on the elementary school teachers from the experimental group. Hence, it is recommended the CIPS-based Training Module be implemented in the training of teachers, as their thinking and teaching skills will improve, which in turn will benefit the students in attaining high achievement.

Abstract

Early childhood generally spends more time playing together with their peers, so that the lack of time for children to play activities in the family environment, this will have an impact on the interaction between children and the family environment. This study aims to describe the role of the family in children's play activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, during the pandemic the family environment plays a very important role in the child's development process, such as creating a comfortable atmosphere and making various playing media that attract children's interest. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher used three stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the family environment has a very important role in the process of child development, one of which is through play activities, especially in providing or facilitating all the needs of children when playing activities take place.

Abstract

Getting used to solving problems independently for children is very important for their lives. So that in this case children should be taught as early as possible so that children are accustomed to addressing the problems they face. As for the problems that are commonly found in early childhood are like shy, not confident, unable to hold back his emotions such as crying and angry, and not confident in their potential. In this study, researchers aimed to find out how the patterns or strategies of parents to get children used to solving problems independently in the family environment. To get the expected results in this study, researchers used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research conducted related to the pattern of habitual problem solving for early childhood in the family environment researchers can find patterns of habituation carried out by parents or families are 1) Give children a sense of comfort, 2) Know the principles of child development, 3) Establish communication with good, 4) Give an example, 5) Sharpen children's abilities, 6) Give freedom not to interfere, 7) Give children freedom or not too meddle.

Abstract

The increasingly number of integrated Early Childhood Education institutions, requires Early Childhood Education managers to be more observant and sensitive in improving the quality of education, both in terms of teacher competence, infrastructure and learning processes that are of selling value. In this study, Early Childhood Education managers are required to improve the competence and professionalism of human resources. This study aims to find out how Integrated Early Childhood Education Institution Mutiara Bantul develops the competence of educators through human resource development program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. In this study, data were collected using interviews and documentation. The results of this study state that to develop the competence of educators through human resource development program, Early Childhood Education Institution Mutiara  has implemented a variety of programs, namely a) trading educators to Integrated Early Childhood Education Institution, b) Advanced Studies and c) facilitating educators by involving educators into various Early Childhood Education teacher competency training.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to determine differences in 21st-century abilities, including critical thinking, creative thinking, communication skills, and collaboration skills, in 4 schools in the Yogyakarta region. This research is a comparative survey with a research sample of 60 students.Design/methods/approach – The data collecting techniques used in interviews with questionnaires consist of 4 21st century abilities: critical thinking skills, creative thinking, communication skills, and collaboration skills.Findings – The survey results showed differences in 21st-century abilities between schools AR with RA, AR with TY, RA with TY, RA with RB, and TY with RB. The t-test, where the sig prove this.t value <0.05 is obtained in a row on the creative thinking ability of 0.001; 0.049; 0.00; 0.001; 0.024. Ability to think creatively in succession 0.003; 0.009; 0.000; 0.009; 0.005. 0.000 successive communication skills; 0.011; 0.000; 0.000; 0.003. Collaboration ability 0.002 consecutively; 0.001; 0.000; 0.003; 0.000. Then there is no difference between AR and RB schools. The value of sig evidences this. t > 0.05 in a row on critical thinking skills, creative thinking, communication skills, and collaboration skills 0.781; 0.702; 0.540; 0.624. The difference in ability is influenced by the learning method used.Research implications/limitations – All study respondents were from four schools in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, which might limit the generalizability of the findings.Practical implications – This research guides stakeholders of an early childhood education institution to take strategic policies in the 21st century.Originality/value – This study contributes to the survey of differences in the abilities of early childhood in the 21st century in terms of different early childhood education institutions. Abstract

This qualitative study explores the parenting practices of young Islamic parents in Pontianak, Indonesia, amidst the evolving contexts of pop Islamism and fluid Islamism. The research uses anthropological lenses to focus on early childhood parenting within millennial Islamic families. The city of Pontianak, characterized by rapid development, ethnic and cultural diversity, and varied religious practices, provides a unique setting for examining these dynamics. Data collection encompassed observations, interviews, and documentation, targeting millennial Muslim parents born between 1981 and 1996, with children aged 0-8 years, totaling 83 participants. Interviews spanned a range of Islamic ideologies, including popular Islamism, tarbiyah, Tahrir, Salafi, and jihadist. The methodology involved data assembly, comprehensive observation, coding, categorization into themes, and narrative presentation. The results reveal diverse parenting patterns influenced by religious affiliations, advisors, worship practices, and explicit or implicit religious affiliations. While parenting styles varied, a high prevalence of authoritarian approaches was noted, with religion playing a pivotal role in child-rearing decisions and social interactions. The study also highlights the material aspects of parenting, including doctrinal ideologies and their manifestation in everyday life. The findings provide crucial insights into contemporary Islamic society's social and religious dynamics, emphasizing the need for an inclusive, multidimensional approach to understanding Islamism that extends beyond political and ideological realms. This research contributes to a deeper comprehension of Islamic millennial families' social and cultural intricacies in Indonesia and their strategies for balancing religious traditions with modern challenges.

Abstract

Manajemen sebuah lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini yang berkualitas akan memberikan layanan terbaik untuk peserta didiknya. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas tersebut terletak pada guru yang bermutu. Memiliki kemampuan soft skill terutama dibidang komunikasi menjadi kualifikasi guru yang harus terpenuhi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui manajemen soft skill komunikasi guru dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran di paud. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian desktiptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini, 6 orang guru dan kepala sekolah di RA Al-Barokah Kecamatan Tarub, Kabupaten Tegal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan komunikasi menjadi faktor utama dalam tercapainya kualitas sebuah lembaga. Manajemen soft skill komunikasi guru di RA Al-barokah sangat berdampak dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran di Paud.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan field research dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sumber dari data primer dan sekunder, dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah beserta staff SMA Kramat Cirebon Untuk menganalisa penulis menggunakan editing, organizing, dan analyzing, dengan metode berfikir deduktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan SMA Kramat Cirebon meliputi perencanaan , pelaksanaan dan evaluasi keuangan, kegiatan perencanaan keuangan yang berupa Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Sekolah (RKAS). Kegiatan pelaksanaan pembiayaan pendidikan meliputi penerimaan dana dan pengeluaran dana dan yang terkahir yaitu evaluasi berupa pemeriksaan terhadap penerimaan dan pertanggungjawaban keuangan oleh ketua yayasan, dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM SMA Kramat Cirebon mengalokasikan dana untuk kegiatan yang bersifat intrakurikuler dan ekstrakulikuler. SMA Kramat Cirebon telah sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi islam keadilan, kejujuran, amanah, transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Ini ditunjukan adanya perbedaan antara golongan I dan II, guru sangat objektif kepada siswa, manajemen tidak pernah memberikan data yang fiktif dan laporan keuangan tersusun rapih. Namun secara pembiayaan SMA Kramat Cirebon belum sesuai perspfektif islam Karena dalam islam pembiayaan pendidikan dikelola secara penuh oleh Negara.
