Abstract

Abstract

Taxes represent the primary source of revenue for the state, whereas local taxes are derived from regional income. Consequently, enhancing awareness is essential to improve taxpayer compliance with their tax responsibilities. This research investigates the influence of mobile SAMSAT services, tax bleaching, and tax socialization on the compliance of motor vehicle taxpayers. Furthermore, it explores the role of mobile SAMSAT, tax bleaching, and socialization as moderating factors affecting taxpayer compliance. The analysis employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) utilizing the SmartPLS 4 software. The study's population consists of motorized vehicles registered in Mataram, with a probability sampling method applied to select a sample size of 100. Statistical analysis conducted with Smart PLS 4 indicates that tax bleaching positively influences taxpayer compliance, whereas mobile SAMSAT services and socialization do not have a significant effect. Additionally, the moderation analysis reveals that tax socialization enhances the relationship between tax bleaching and taxpayer compliance, but does not moderate the effect of mobile SAMSAT on compliance. The study recommends that future research incorporate additional variables, such as taxpayer awareness and taxpayer satisfaction.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to describe the fact of inequality of Arabic subjects in the curriculum as a compulsory subject at the upper secondary education level, 2) to determine the inequality factors of Arabic subjects in the general education curriculum, and 3) to determine the implications of inequality in Arabic as the main subject. Graduates of general education who proceed to Islamic religious universities often encounter challenges in mastering Arabic. This may occur due to the absence of Arabic language subjects during their high school years, compounded by Arabic not being a mandatory component of the general education curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. Data collection techniques include literature studies, and data analysis used are content analysis. The findings indicate that Arabic is not designated as a core subject in the national education curriculum for secondary education, highlighting the unequal treatment of Arabic within the Indonesian education system. This disparity's repercussion is evident in the challenges encountered by high school graduates when pursuing Arabic studies at Islamic Religious Colleges, stemming from struggles in grasping the fundamentals of the Arabic language. Arabic language learning in general education is only an elective subject in private schools affiliated with religious organizations. This results in students facing challenges in acquiring knowledge in Arabic and grappling with the complexities of learning Islam, particularly for Muslim students.

Abstract

This research examines the possibilities and limitations of using ChatGPT in learning Arabic as a foreign language. Using a descriptive method, this study presents theories regarding using ChatGPT in language learning and how it is practically applied in learning Arabic as a foreign language. It also highlights the limitations learners should consider when using this application correctly and effectively. This research indicates that ChatGPT can assist Arabic language learners as "smart students" and "smart learning partner." With this role, ChatGPT can help them complete tasks and assignments, create a flexible and personalized learning environment, and improve their language skills. However, learners should also be mindful of the limitations of using ChatGPT, especially regarding ethical aspects and the limitations of the technology itself. They should maintain academic ethics and avoid excessive dependence on ChatGPT, which could negatively impact their critical thinking abilities, engagement spirit, and learning motivation.

Abstract

Starting with COVID19, almost everyone around the world uses the internet, even to the worrying stage, namely internet addiction. Several studies report that the level of addiction to using the internet network is getting higher even though COVID19 has subsided. Teenagers have not been able to choose useful internet connection activities and they are more prone to experiencing bad influences from the social environment. To overcome this they need support from psychologists so they can prevent and diagnose early before they become sufferers of severe internet addiction. But on the other hand, the number of psychologists who can help is still very limited, especially in small towns. In addition, economic factors and limited time for parents to accompany their children to visit psychologists are the main obstacles. Therefore it is necessary to find a solution that can overcome the limitations and barriers to adolescents in obtaining services from a psychologist. One solution to this problem is to build an expert system that can work as a psychologist. The purpose of this research is to build an expert system application for diagnosing internet addiction using the backward chaining method. Internet addiction level is categorized in low, medium and high. System testing is carried out using black box testing which allows experts to obtain a set of output conditions that will carry out all functional requirements of the program. This test shows that the inout and output data has been running as expected.
