Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource quality, motivation, and employee engagement on the performance of Experts of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, with the certainty of personnel status as a moderating variable. The research method is a quantitative, employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) via SmartPLS 4.0. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to Experts of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. The results of the study show that the quality of human resources, motivation, and employee engagement have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Experts of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition, the certainty of employment status has been shown to moderate the relationship between human resource quality, motivation, and employee engagement and performance, thereby strengthening the influence of these three variables. Theoretically, this study strengthens the Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) Theory, by showing that the quality of human resources as personal resources as well as motivation and employee engagement, as part of the motivational process, contribute significantly to performance. In addition, the certainty of employment status acts as a job resource that strengthens the relationship between individual resources and performance, thereby enriching the literature on performance determinants in the public sector. This research emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of human resources, strengthening work motivation, and increasing employee engagement in an effort to improve the performance of the Experts of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. On the other hand, the certainty of employment status is a strategic factor that can strengthen the effectiveness of these three variables in producing optimal performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, supervision program management, and inter-agency coordination on the effectiveness of the supervisory function of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in the agricultural sector. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 60 respondents of Expert Personnel of Commission IV of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study show that leadership style, supervision program management, and inter-agency coordination have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of the supervisory function, both partially and simultaneously. In addition, leadership style is the most dominant variable in increasing the effectiveness of the supervisory function. This study confirms that the effectiveness of legislative oversight is not only determined by formal authority but also by the internal capacity of institutions, particularly in aspects of leadership, program management, and coordination. Therefore, strengthening these three aspects is important in improving the quality of the supervisory function of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) the direct effects of social media content marketing on emotional engagement, perceived informativeness, and purchase intention; (2) the direct effects of emotional engagement and perceived informativeness on purchase intention; and (3) the indirect effect of social media content marketing on purchase intention through the two mediating variables. This study employed a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 domestic tourists purchasing MSME products in Tana Toraja and North Toraja. The sample was determined using purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software to examine the relationships among variables. The findings reveal that social media content marketing significantly enhances both emotional engagement and perceived informativeness but does not directly influence purchase intention. Conversely, emotional engagement positively and significantly affects purchase intention, whereas perceived informativeness shows no significant direct effect. The mediation analysis indicates that emotional engagement serves as a significant mediator in linking social media content marketing to tourists’ purchase intention, whereas perceived informativeness, although positive, fails to mediate.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of brand image and brand trust on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating mechanism among soft drink consumers. The study contributes by uncovering a saturation effect in brand trust, where trust functions as a baseline condition with limited incremental impact on loyalty, while brand image drives loyalty through both direct and satisfaction-mediated pathways. Using a quantitative design, data from 197 consumers were analyzed using PLS-SEM to test direct and indirect relationships. The findings show that brand image significantly influences customer satisfaction and loyalty, with satisfaction partially mediating this relationship. In contrast, brand trust positively affects satisfaction but does not significantly influence loyalty, either directly or indirectly. These results highlight asymmetric roles of brand constructs, suggesting that strengthening brand image remains critical for loyalty formation, while trust serves as a foundational but non-differentiating factor in mature markets.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effects of competence, motivation, and workplace empathy on employee performance at the Takkalalla Community Health Center in Wajo Regency, while also identifying the most influential variable in the proposed model. Research Method: The study employed a quantitative case study design with census sampling, involving all 55 employees of the health center as respondents. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed in SPSS version 24. The analytical procedures included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, partial t-tests, and coefficient-of-determination analysis. Results and Discussion: This study demonstrates that employee performance in the Takkalalla Community Health Center is significantly influenced by competence, motivation, and workplace empathy. The findings confirm that performance in primary healthcare is not determined solely by technical skills, but by the combined effects of cognitive, psychological, and interpersonal factors. Implications: These findings suggest that efforts to improve employee performance in primary healthcare should not focus solely on competence and motivation, but also on strengthening workplace empathy. The study contributes to policy and practice by proposing a more comprehensive performance model for community healthcare settings. Future research is recommended to test this model in broader healthcare institutions with larger samples and more diverse organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of leadership style and work motivation on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), with job satisfaction as a mediating mechanism among civil servants. The study contributes by revealing an asymmetric mediation pattern in which leadership influences OCB both directly and through job satisfaction, while motivation operates primarily through a direct pathway without significant mediation. Using saturated sampling, data from 195 respondents were analyzed through inferential statistical techniques to test direct and indirect relationships. The results show that leadership significantly enhances job satisfaction and OCB, whereas motivation significantly affects OCB but not job satisfaction. Job satisfaction positively influences OCB and mediates only the leadership–OCB relationship. These findings highlight differentiated behavioral pathways, suggesting that leadership functions as a dual-impact driver, while motivation acts as an immediate trigger, with job satisfaction serving a selective reinforcing role in strengthening OCB.

Abstract

Purpose: This program was initiated in response to low adoption of digital marketing and financial literacy among MSMEs in Tinambung Subdistrict, resulting in limited market reach and poor business management. The initiative aims to enhance MSMEs’ capabilities in digital marketing and financial literacy and to promote business self-reliance. Research Method: The activity was conducted in February 2026 in the Tinambung Subdistrict, Polewali Mandar Regency, and involved 30 MSME operators across the retail, food service, and service sectors. The method used was a participatory approach through outreach, technical training, and hands-on coaching, with observations, interviews, and questionnaires serving as evaluation tools. Results and Discussion: Before the intervention, only 23% of partners had a digital business account, and 26% kept financial records. The activities were implemented in phases, ranging from outreach to monitoring. The results showed significant improvements: digital account ownership rose to 83%, understanding of promotional content to 78%, financial record-keeping to 80%, and financial segregation to 76%. Implications: This program promotes digital adoption and financial management among SMEs. Ongoing support is recommended to ensure the sustainability of SMEs’ digital transformation.
