Abstract

As juvenile delinquency rates rise in Indonesia, addressing the underlying moral degradation among adolescents becomes crucial. This study investigates the integration of Tanjak Melayu's local wisdom with Value Clarification Technique (VCT) in history education as a strategy for moral character enhancement in students. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, document reviews, and validity tests, with data analysis performed via triangulation. The study identifies key values of Tanjak Melayu—dignity, politeness, and attractiveness—that can be effectively incorporated into history lessons using VCT. This integration shows a positive impact on student's moral character, providing not only knowledge but also facilitating practical learning tasks. The incorporation of Tanjak Melayu values into educational settings via VCT not only preserves cultural heritage but also actively promotes moral virtues among students. The findings suggest that VCT can be a dynamic tool in moral education, enhancing student engagement and ethical development. This study underscores the potential of culturally integrated education technologies in addressing adolescent behavioral issues. By embedding local cultural values into the curriculum, educational institutions can play a pivotal role in shaping the moral landscape of the next generation. This approach offers a scalable model for similar interventions across diverse educational contexts, aiming to curb juvenile delinquency through enhanced character education. The successful integration of Tanjak Melayu values into history education via VCT demonstrates a viable path towards improving the moral character of students, suggesting that similar cultural and technological adaptations in educational curricula could be beneficial on a broader scale.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peranan radio republik indonesia pekanbaru pada peristiwa pemberontakan pemerintahan republik revolusioner indonesia di riau pada tahun 1957 hingga 1958. Permasalahan yang diteliti dalam artikel ini mengenai bagaimana proses terjadinya PRRI di riau dan bagaimana peranan radio republik indonesia pekanbaru turut andil ikut serta dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarak riau melalui siaran radio, serta apa saja dampak setelah terjadinya peristiwa PRRI. Penulis mengkajinya dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah Louis Gottschalk yang meliputi heuristik, verifikasi, interprentasi, dan historiografi. Radio republik indonesia pekanbaru turut andil dalam hal meyampaikan informasi mengenai peristiwa PRRI yang pada waktu itu sedang berlangsung, dan semenjak ikut andil pada peristiwa PRRI, radio republik indonesia pekanbaru mulai dikenal oleh masyarakat riau dan memulai eksistensinya di dunia penyiaran di riau.

Abstract

Many collections are stored at the Sang Nila Utama Museum, even hundreds of years old. This collection varies from basic materials. Ten categories, Biology, Geology, Ethnography, Ceramology, History, Philology, Archaeology, Technology, Heraldry and Fine Arts, are used by the Snag Nila Utama Museum to categorize the types of collections. Of course, maintaining such a large collection requires proper handling, conservation and storage techniques. Of course, one museum has differences in its methods of conservation and preservation of its collections. This activity focuses on discussing the application of techniques used by the Sang Nila Utama Museum in maintaining or preserving its collections. This activity serves to preserve and maintain collection objects to make them more durable and not easily eroded by time. So that historical objects will be well preserved to continue to be preserved for future generations from generation to generation.

Abstract

This research discusses the biography of Sudarno Mahyudin, who is a literary figure from Riau Province. The aim of this research is to determine Sudarno Mahyudin's life history, Sudarno Mahyudin's role as a writer, as well as Sudarno Mahyudin's works and achievements. This research uses a historical approach which includes heuristic, verification, interpretation and historiography stages. This research was conducted in Bagansiapiapi, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The results of this research show that Sudarno Mahyudin was born in Bagansiapiapi on September 26 1940. Sudarno Mahyudin started school in 1947 at the Bagansiapiapi People's School and then continued his schooling on the island of Java at Surakarta Middle School in 1953-1956. After completing junior high school, he continued to Surakarta High School in 1956-1960. During high school, Sudarno Mahyudin began to enter the world of literature by filling in the sections for the wall magazine at his school. When he graduated from high school, in 1962 he continued to Gadjah Mada University (UGM) but did not finish in 1965. Thanks to his passion for writing, Sudarno Mahyudin plays a very important role in the world of literature, namely maintaining culture through literature, recalling history in Riau, creating the press media "Suara Rokan" in Bagansiapiapi, and creating the "Spirit Theater Studio". Sudarno Mahyudin has produced many works and has also received many awards at national and international levels.

Abstract

E-modules represent a prominent trend in the ongoing evolution of educational technology. The swift progress of technology necessitates continual adaptation by teachers. This challenge is particularly significant for history teachers who are part of the Indragiri Hulu Regency History MGMP, as they grapple with staying abreast of diverse technological advancements. Consequently, assistance is imperative for these history teachers within the MGMP, specifically in understanding and applying the technology involved in e-module preparation. One effective approach to address this need is to provide support for teachers in utilizing the flip pdf corporate edition for e-module creation. Mentoring is structured across three key stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The initial phase involves developing modules to facilitate independent learning for teachers during the mentoring process. Notably, teachers exhibit high motivation and proficiency in utilizing the application throughout the e-module preparation. They are also capable of crafting autonomous e-modules with the aid of instructional guides. The culmination of this assistance is evident in teachers successfully generating e-modules that can serve as valuable resources for student learning in various subjects. Evaluation results from mentoring activities underscore the importance of teachers consistently and continuously actualizing their knowledge. This ongoing effort is crucial for enhancing literacy and digital skills within the learning process.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang di dalamnya terdapat berbagai kebudayaan dan tradisi. Kebudayaan dan tradisi yang ada di Indonesia memiliki ciri khas yang berbeda-beda. Salah satu tradisi yang terdapat di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir yang sampai saat ini masih eksis keberadaannya yakni Pacu Sampan Leper . Tradisi Pacu Sampan leper ini merupakan tradisi yang lahir dari tengah-tengah masyarakat yang sejak dahulu selalu memanfaatkan transportasi air. Dalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yakni adalah: Untuk mengetahui latar belakang festival pacu sampan leper di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam festival pacu sampan leper serta mengetahui upaya pelestarian festival pacu sampan leper di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Berawal dari masyarakat Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir yang sejak dahulu selalu memanfaatkan transportasi sampan untuk kegiatan sehari-hari. Namun kondisi alam Inhil yang setiap tahunnya mengalami kondisi pasang surut mengakibatkan sungai-sungai yang ada di Inhil menjadi kering dan menyulitkan menggunakan sampan ketika kondisi surut. Masyarakat yang sudah terbiasa dengan kondisi alam seperti itu membuat suatu inovasi dengan menciptakan suatu transportasi yang dapat digunakan ketika kondisi surut yakni sampan leper.

Abstract

Abstrak Cagar Budaya memiliki 5 kategori, dimana kategori tersebut dapat berpengaruh terhadap status cagar budaya, 5 kategori cagar budaya tersebut ialah: benda, bangunan, struktur, situs, dan kawasan. Berdasarkan kategori tersebut, maka Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru telah mengalami perubahan status cagar budaya berdasarkan kategorinya, yaitu dari bangunan cagar budaya menjadi struktur cagar budaya. Perubahan status Cagar Budaya Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru terjadi akibat adanya revitalisasi yang mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan fisik dari bangunan Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru. Revitalisasi Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru dilaksanakan pada tahun 2009. Penelitian ini membahas tentang (1) Latar belakang perubahan status Cagar Budaya Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru; (2) Peran pemangku kebijakan dalam merenovasi bangunan Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru; (3) Proses perubahan status Cagar Budaya Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru; (4) Perubahan Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru tahun 2009-2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian sejarah dengan metode deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan jawaban melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid Raya Senapelan Pekanbaru tetap berstatus cagar budaya yang dilindungi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2010 tentang cagar budaya. Abstract Cultural Conservation has 5 categories, where these categories can affect the status of cultural heritage, the 5 categories of cultural heritage are: objects, buildings, structures, sites, and areas. Based on these categories, the Pekanbaru Senapelan Grand Mosque has changed its cultural heritage status based on its category, namely from a cultural heritage building to a cultural heritage structure. Changes in the cultural heritage status of the Pekanbaru Senapelan Grand Mosque occurred due to the revitalization which resulted in physical changes to the Senapelan Pekanbaru Grand Mosque building. The revitalization of the Great Mosque of Senapelan Pekanbaru was carried out in 2009. This study discusses (1) the background of the change in the status of the Cultural Conservation of the Great Mosque of Senapelan Pekanbaru; (2) The role of policy makers in renovating the Senapelan Mosque, Pekanbaru; (3) The process of changing the status of the Cultural Conservation of the Senapelan Great Mosque of Pekanbaru; (4) Changes to the Pekanbaru Senapelan Grand Mosque in 2009-2017. This type of research is historical research with descriptive method, namely describing answers through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results showed that the Pekanbaru Senapelan Grand Mosque remains a cultural heritage protected by Law No. 11 of 2010 concerning cultural heritage.

Abstract

Organisasi sosial PSMTI merupakan salah satu organisasi etnis Tionghoa yang berada di Pekanbaru, dimana organisasi ini mewadahi pendapat dan aspirasi-aspirasi dari etnis Tionghoa. Organisasi sosial PSMTI di Pekanbaru berdiri pada tahun 2003. Dalam penelitian ini membahas mengenai: (1) awal mula dan latar belakang berdirinya PSMTI di Pekanbaru; (2) peranan PSMTI dalam bidang sosial, budaya, dan pendidikan; (3) tanggapan masyarakat sekitar dengan adanya organisasi PSMTI . pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode sejarah, yang dimana metode sejarah memiliki 4 tahap, yaitu: (1) Heuristik; (2) Kritik sumber; (3) Interpretasi; (4) Historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor pendorong orang Tionghoa datang ke Indonesia yang pertama adalah alasan ekonomi, dimana cina pada akhir abad ke-19 mengalami masalah ledakan penduduk, dan pertengahan abad ke-19 munculnya permasalahan yang mempengaruhi melonjaknya angka kemiskinan, kerusuhan dan keresahan sosial, diperburuk lagi oleh sistem kekaisaran cina yang hampir hancur, faktor pendorong yang kedua yaitu alasan politik.

Abstract

Kelompok tani Mustang merupakan salah satu kelompok tani yang berada di Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai yang melakukan usahatani sayur di lahan milik Lanud (Landasan Angkatan Udara). Selama ini kelompok tani Mustang bertani dengan memanfaatkan lahan milik Lanud yang memiliki total luas lahan sebesar ± 4.4 Ha yang dibagi menjadi 20 petakan yang rata-ratanya memiliki luas sebesar ± 0.22 Ha. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) Untuk mengetahui awal terbentuknya kelompok tani sayur Mustang. 2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan kelompok tani sayur Mustang pada tahun 2000-2015. 3) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi sosial ekonomi kelompok tani sayur Mustang pada tahun 2000-15. Dalam Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah. Kelompok Tani Mustang memulai pertanian sejak pertama kali dibentuk pada 18 Desember 2000. Dalam perjalanannya dinamika tahun 2000 -2015 kelompok tani sayur Mustang mengalami perkembangan banyak sekali perubahan yang terjadi seperti sosial dan ekonomi. Namun dengan kegigihan akhirnya mereka bisa memasuki dekade keberhasilan dengan pendapatan yang besar pada tahun 2015.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to create a project evaluation tool that can be used to evaluate students' knowledge of how to use historical sources at the University of Riau's History Study Program. The three steps of the employed instrument development approach are: (i) problem analysis and instrument development needs; (ii) development of a framework for project evaluation instruments; and (iii) validation tests, instrument trials, and instrument changes by experts. 54 randomly chosen students from the history education study program at Riau University made up the research subjects. Research data was gathered through surveys and literature reviews. The SPSS version 25.0 application is used to do statistical analysis as part of the data analysis approach. 4.416. This demonstrates the instrument's excellent design and alignment with the intended use of the measurement. With an average score of 4.24, the test results further demonstrate this instrument's capacity to deliver reliable assessments. The instrument's validity and reliability scored highly. Based on these results, it can be said that the project evaluation tool created in this study has strong validity and reliability in assessing students in the University of Riau's History Study Program's capacity to use historical materials. This test is a useful tool for determining how well students can examine and comprehend historical sources. In the subject of historical education, this study has a significant impact on the creation of project assessment tools and can serve as the foundation for future advancements.
