Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri sejarah tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Distrik Mandau Kesultanan Siak dengan memfokuskan kajian pada peranan Tuan Syekh H. Imam Sabar Al-Kholidi Naqsyabandi Bin Encik Coteih dalam mengembangkan ajaran Islam jalur tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di onder distrik Mandau tepatnya di desa Balai Pungut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawanacara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tarekat Naqsyabandiyah berkembang dan diamalkan di Indonesia pada abad ke-19. Kerajaan Siak menjadi pusat berkembangnya ajaran tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di Riau. Desa Balai Pungut menjadi saksi nyata berkembangnya ajaran tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di wilayah Mandau pada masa Kerajaan Siak Sri Indrapura oleh Tuan Syekh H. Imam Sabar Al-Kholidi Naqsyabandi bin Encik Coteih. Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah untuk pertama kalinya mulai berjalan dan dipimpin langsung oleh Syekh H. Imam Sabar Al-Kholidi Naqsyabandi pada tahun 1925 di desa Beringin. Kemudian baru pada tahun 1936 diajarkan dan dikembangkan di desa Balai Pungut.

Abstract

Istana Hinggap merupakan peninggalan bersejarah yang dijadikan sebagai Rumah Inap Sultan dari Kerajaan Siak Sri Indrapura yaitu Sultan Siak XII. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah rumah singgah Sultan Siak yang dikenal dengan Istana Hinggap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dimana data didapatkan melalui proses observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Istana Hinggap berdiri pada tahun 1929 yang dibangun oleh arsitektur dari Belanda dengan model rumah Eropa dan Turki. Rumah ini pada awalnya adalah milik H. Zakaria yang pada zaman Kerajaan Siak dikenal sebagai Mufti Besar di Kesultanan Siak Sri Indrapura yang bergelar Datuk Kadhi H. Zakaria. Rumah ini merupakan rumah tempat bermalamnya Sultan Siak Ke XII apabila berkunjung ke Pekanbaru. Istana Hinggap masih berdiri kokoh hingga sekarang. Oleh karena itu peninggalan bersejarah ini memerlukan perawatan dan perlindungan yang maksimal dari Pemerintah Provinsi Riau. Sekarang rumah ini dimiliki oleh H. Syahril Rais, yang merupakan suami dari Hj. Nurlis Yahya cucu dari H. Zakaria pemilik rumah awal.

Abstract

Corona virus pandemic has rapidly changed the way of life as well as the way of learning system in entire world. The need for information and communication technology (ICT) competencies and improved digital infrastructure are the main requirement to conduct the distance learning or online learning. In addition, both teachers and students must be adapted with this “abnormal” condition since the online learning has been officially applied by Indonesian government during March until end of 2020. However, a quick change to online learning has left students and teachers with insufficient time to prepare. This study focused on the readiness of teachers and students to conduct online learning. The readiness aspects considered in this study were the digital competence of users and digital infrastructure readiness to support the technical issue of online learning. The design of this study was evaluative survey and the data were collected equally by using online survey platform from three hundreds high school students and thirty history teachers. To maintain the equalization of the data, the respondent was divided into two clusters, based on the rural region and urban region. This study found that both students and teachers were mainly not well prepared and fully ready to conduct online learning due to technical problems such as stability of internet access, the internet network availability, and financial issues. Meanwhile, the digital competence aspect was not the major problem for both teachers and students because the majority of respondents (above 80%) declared that they had no trouble in using the device or running the online learning platform. Consequently, in a long-term effect, the unbalanced preparation of online learning could be resulted in digital divide which rose the inequality of the education quality among the learners.

Abstract

This research aimed to create a guide module for learning outcome test based on High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in lectures at the Departement of History Education at Universitas Riau in Penilaian Pembelajaran Sejarah course. The research method used in this research was research and development adopting 4-D (Four-D) development model. In this research, the development focused on the creation of a guide module for the preparation of learning outcomes instruments based on High Order Thinking Skills. The validation result from the material expert was 3.8 (very feasible) while the validation result from the language expert was 3.6 (very feasible), and the results of the module trial for students was 96.22 (very positive). Thus, the guide module was suitable to be utilized as teaching materials in Penilaian pembelajaran Sejarah course at the Deaprtment of History Education, Universitas Riau.

Abstract

Deep learning-based learning is an approach that emphasizes in-depth understanding, interrelation between concepts, and critical and reflective thinking skills in the learning process. This approach is in line with the spirit of an independent curriculum that encourages meaningful and student-centered learning. The presence of learning tools that are systematically designed and based on deep learning approaches in the learning process can increase student engagement and understanding in depth. The use of appropriate learning tools not only helps teachers in delivering material effectively, but also encourages students to think critically, reflectively, and actively engage in the learning process. This Workshop is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the concept of deep learning-based learning, which is a learning model that not only focuses on basic knowledge aspects, but also encourages learners to analyze, evaluate, create, and reflect on contextual learning. The method used in this community service project was implemented in Pekanbaru City, involving 50 history teachers who are members of the History MGMP. The community service activity was divided into three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The materials presented include: concepts and basic principles of Deep Learning in basic education, strategies to design learning outcomes that encourage deep thinking, the preparation of teaching modules that integrate the values of Pancasila student profiles, and the practice of preparing lesson plans and formative assessments based on deep learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the historical context and multifaceted impact of the Tengku Agung Sultanah Latifah Bridge construction in Siak Regency, Riau, spanning the period from 2001 to 2011. Prior to its construction, the inhabitants of Siak Sri Indrapura City encountered significant challenges stemming from restricted access across the Siak River, a crucial national waterway and primary transportation artery. Dependence on pontoons, ferries, or traditional wooden canoes led to extensive queues, prolonged travel times, and inherent safety hazards, particularly for schoolchildren. These impediments severely hindered economic and social development, causing Siak to lag behind other districts and earning it the moniker of a 'ghost town. In response to these pressing issues, the inaugural Regent of Siak, Arwin AS, initiated the bridge project in 2002. The undertaking encountered considerable resistance, including opposition from the central government and legal disputes from shipping companies concerned about navigational disruptions. Nevertheless, through persistent efforts by the local government, the bridge was successfully completed and formally inaugurated in 2007 by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Currently, the Tengku Agung Sultanah Latifah Bridge functions not merely as critical infrastructure, enhancing transportation and stimulating economic activity, but also as a prominent tourist destination. This research specifically aims to delineate the community's challenges before the bridge's construction, detail the construction process, and analyze its profound impact on the developmental trajectory of Siak Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the essential basic competencies of Indonesian history subjects in the emergency curriculum period based on the principles of UKRK (Urgency, Continuity, Relevance, Usability). The syllabus used by Indonesian history teachers at the beginning of the pandemic and in the transition after the issuance of Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik No 719/P Tahun 2020 still uses the syllabus made during the conditions before Covid-19. As a result, learning Indonesian history sourced from the syllabus is irrelevant to current conditions.This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, document analysis, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the Basic Competence (KD) contained in the previous syllabus was a collection of KD made with normal living conditions. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the learning pattern that was originally in the classroom to change to Distance Learning (PJJ). So, KD in normal conditions syllabus is still used, so this is irrelevant and very difficult for students. Therefore, this study recommends the results of essential KD analysis in compulsory history subjects. So that it can be used by history teachers throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID-BASED RIAU PROVINCIAL WARRIOR FIGURE E-MODULE AS A DIGITAL LEARNING RESOURCE FOR LOCAL HISTORY. Traditionally, teachers have often developed teaching materials using conventional module approaches. Conventional modules are teaching materials presented in print format, which are frequentlyunappealing and inflexible, leading to a lack of interest from students. Therefore, E-Modules development is highly suitable because they offer numerous benefits, particularly regarding accessibility. This research aims to develop an Android-based E-Module about the heroic figures from Riau Province. The objectives of this design are (1) to create an E-Module that is easily accessible anytime and anywhereand (2) to introduce heroic figures and local history of Riau Province through an Android-based technological approach. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method to design and evaluate the effectiveness of the developed product. The development model used is the 4D (Four D) model, which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research indicatesthat the designed E-Module meets adequacy standards and can be used as a learning media. Additionally, student feedback on the E-Module has been very positive. Selama ini guru sering mengembangkan bahan ajar dengan pendekatan modul konvensional. Modul konvensional adalah bahan ajar yang disampaikan dalam format cetak yang seringkali tidak aktraktif dan tidak fleksibel sehingga membuat siswa tidak tertarik untuk membacanya. Untuk itu, pengembangan E-Modul sangat cocok diterapkan karena memiliki manfaat yang banyak sekali terutama terkait aksesibilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul mengenai cerita tokoh pejuang dari Provinsi Riau yang berbasis android. Tujuan dari perancangan ini yaitu untuk (1) menciptakan E-Modul yang mudah diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja serta (2) mengenalkan tokoh pejuang dan sejarah lokal Provinsi Riau dengan pendekatan teknologi berbasis android. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) untuk merancang dan mengevaluasi efektivitas produk yang dirancang. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D (Four D) yang meliputi define (pendefinisian), design(perancangan), develop(pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa E-Modul yang dirancang memenuhi standar kecukupan dan dapat diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran. Selain itu, tanggapan siswa terhadap E-Modul tersebut menunjukan reaksi yang sangat positif.
