Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan prokrastinasi pada anggota Polrestabes Surabaya ditinjau dari Jenis Kelamin dan Locus of Control. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan prokrastinasi di tinjau dari jenis kelamin dimana laki-laki lebih prokrastinasi dibanding wanita, sedangkan hipotesis minor yang diajukan adalah Locus of Control Internal berkorelasi negatif terhadap prokrastinasi dan Locus of Control Eksternal berkorelasi negatif terhadap prokrastinasi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 144 orang anggota Polrestabes Surabaya yang terdiri dari Sat Reskrim, Sat Sabhara, Sat Lantas, dan Sat Binmas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala prokrastinasi dan skala Locus of Control yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan alpha cronbach, kolmogorov-smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk, Levene statistic dengan program SPSS versi 20.0 untuk membuktikan hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik One Way Anova menggunakan SPSS versi 20.0 diperoleh hasil F = 10,456 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,002. Hal tersebut berarti terdapat perbedaan prokrastinasi yang signifikan ditinjau dari Jenis Kelamin (Pria & Wanita). Artinya pria lebih cenderung prokrastinasi dibanding wanita. Uji korelasi yang telah dilakukan antara variabel Locus of Control Internal dan Prokrastinasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,425 pada taraf signifikansi 0,000. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Locus of Control Internal mempunyai hubungan negatif dan sangat signifikan dengan Prokrastinasi. Sedangkan dari hasil uji korelasi antara Locus of Control Eksternal dan Prokrastinasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,502 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti Locus of Control Eksternal dengan Prokrastinasi mempunyai hubungan positif dan sangat signifikan. Jadi, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini seluruhnya diterima.Kata kunci: prokrastinasi, locus of control internal, locus of control eksternal, jenis kelamin

Padangdangan Village is one of the villages that lacks irrigation water when the dry season arrives. This is caused by the soil structure is included in dry land which can only be planted with corn, once a year. Padangdangan villagers rarely have their own toilets, so for the need to defecate, most villagers do it in open fields. This causes an outbreak of unwanted diseases. With this problem, the PKM program was offered entitled "PKM utilization of Submersible Pumps in Padangdangan Village, Pasongsongan, Sumenep ". The installation of the Submersible pump is expected to solve the problem of the Kelompok Tani Adi and the Kelompok Tani Adi Rasa in Padangdangan Village for the difficulty of procuring irrigation water. So that the two farmer groups can have other options in farming which will have an impact on quality and a better standard of living. This pump is suitable because the pump is free of noise, has a natural cooling system, and is safe from thieves.

Syair Riwayat Nabi Muhammad (kemudian disingkat SRNM) adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak karya sastra lama yang berbentuk syair. SRNM yang ditemukan di Kabupaten Kuningan ini ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Sunda. Di dalam naskah SRNM disisipkan beberapa unsur cerita naratif yang sifatnya mengisi dan melengkapi teks SRNM sehingga membentuk sebuah alur cerita yang utuh. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur naratif dalam SRNM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deksriptif dengan pendekatan struktural. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa SRNM termasuk puisi tradisional yang memiliki pola khusus, tetapi struktur naratifnya cukup menonjol. SRNM menarasikan sejarah kehidupan Nabi Muhammad. SRNM juga mengandung data berkaitan dengan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dan Sunda pada tahun 1947-an. Bila dikaji lebih mendalam, dapat dikatakan bahwa naskah SRNM dipandang sebagai sesuatu yang bernilai dan penting untuk dikaji terutama dari segi bahasa. Bahasa dalam naskah SRNM sarat dengan kebahasaan yang memiliki makna dan bernilai tinggi untuk dijadikan kerangka referensial dalam keilmuan bahasa.Abstract:Syair Riwayat Nabi Muhammad (SRNM) is one of old literary works in the form of poem. SRNM found in Kuningan district was written in both of Indonesian and Sundanese. In the SRNM’s manuscript, there are some narrative stories completing the SRNM ‘s in order to form a storyline intact. The present research attempts to describe the narrative structure in SRNM. The applied method in the research is descriptive method by using structural approach. The results of the research show that SRNM including traditional poetry contains a specific pattern, yet the narra- tive structure is quite prominent. SRNM narrated the history of the life of Prophet Muhammad. The SRNM also consists of the data that was related to the use of Indonesian and Sundanese in the 1947’s. When studied more deeply, it can be said that the SRNM manuscript is seen as something that is both valuable and important to study, especially in the term of language perspective. Lan- guage in the SRNM’s manuscript loaded with meaningful and highly valued form in order to be used as a referential framework in linguistics.

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership behavior and workingsatisfaction toward teacher performance in Lareh Sago Halaban. The hypothesis of thisresearch are 1) the leadership has significant influence toward teacher performance, 2) workingsatisfaction has significant influence toward teacher performance, 3) the leadership andworking satisfaction have significant influence toward teacher performance.The sample of this research are 51 kindergarten teachers in Lare Sago Halaban. To examinethe relation and influence of dependent and independent variables, the date is analyzed byusing software SPSS.The result shows that the leadership behavior affects teacher performance, working satisfactionaffects teacher performance, and simultaneously the leadership behavior and workingsatisfaction affect teacher performance.This research support Herzberg’s theories (1990) and this discovery also give understandingabout the important role of leadership and working satisfaction toward teacher performance.Keywords: leadership, working satisfaction, performance

Praktikum yang dilakukan sejauh ini memang sudah memiliki keterampilan proses sains untuk dinilai. Namun, penilaian yang dilakukan belum maksimal. Mahasiswa masih sangat bergantung pada koordinator praktikum, sehingga keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki mahasiswa tidak berkembang. Pada hakikatnya keterampilan proses sains tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi antara keterampilan proses sains dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada praktikum sifat koligatif larutan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kampus IKIP Mataram. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester genap program studi pendidikan kimia, matematika dan biologi yang berjumlah 138 orang yang memprogramkan mata kuliah kimia dasar II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. . Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains dan Lembar soal tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisa data untuk menghitung koefisen korelasi keterampilan proses sains dengan hasil belajar digunakan rumus pearson korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa dalam praktikum sifat koligatif larutan memiliki korelasi positif dengan hasil belajar. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh r sebesar 0,2897 menurut korelasi pearson product moment dan r 0,1676 dengan taraf signifikan 5%.

Multi-Ricker Spectral Modeling in the S-transform Domain for Enhancing Vertical Resolution of Seismic Reflection Data Winardhi, Sonny; Pranowo, Waskito

We present a relatively straightforward methodology for extending seismic bandwidth and hence enhancing the seismic resolution by performing time-variant deconvolution. We use the generalized S-transform (GST) approach in order to properly compute the time-frequency components of the seismic reflection trace. In estimating the time-variant wavelet, we propose a spectral modeling method named multi-Ricker spectral approximation (MRA). After obtaining the estimated wavelet spectrum at each time sample, a deconvolution filter can then be built and applied in the S-transform domain. This proposed time-variant seismic enhancement method needs neither information on subsurface attenuation model nor assumption that the subsurface reflectivity is random. It is a data-driven methodology which is based on the seismic data only. We validate this proposed method on a synthetic and apply to a field data. Results show that, after enhancement, overall seismic bandwidth can be extended resulting in higher vertical resolution. Correlation with VSP corridor stack at well location ensures that the generated reflection details after enhancement is geologically plausible.

This article discusses about the accuracy and readability on the translations of onomatopoeia in The Maze Runner novel translated by Yunita Candra in order to evaluate the translation quality. All onomatopoeia both from English or translated novel were collected and then looked for the meaning in Cambridge Dictionary, Oxford Dictionary, Indonesian Dictionary ( KBBI), and in some sources such as books, internet, or cross checking from native or experts, then compared and determined the accuracy and readability level using Translation Accuracy Assessment Instrument and Translation Readability Assessment Instrument [1]. The result showed that accuracy and readability related to each other. Onomatopoeia translated accurately tended to have low readability level and there were onomatopoeia intentionally translated inaccurately to obtain high readability level. Nevertheless, there were also the translations of onomatopoeia with high accuracy level and readability level.

Apology is an inevitable part of human communication as an act of face-saving strategy. It is necessarily uttered if an offense is made. This research is an attempt to reveal the apology strategies used as well as to analyze the influence of social distance and relative power to the realization of apology strategies, as seen in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2. In total, there are 125 data found and those are classified according the apology strategy employed. The result shows that the majority of the speakers employ indirect apology strategy ?Explanation or Account of Cause? to apologize. Furthermore, this research also found that social distance and relative power are taken into account during the apology process and they affect the linguistic realization of apology strategies in the movies.

 Most of the people in the village of Banjarsari, which is located in Sumberasih District at Probolinggo Regency,have the main livelihood as traditional farmers and ranchers. Rice straw is one of the agricultural byproducts that areavailable quite abundant in each planting season, and can be utilized as the basic ingredients of feed that can help theavailability of livestock nutrition supply in the dry season. Rice straw as the main ingredient of bokashi fertilizer, can alsobe used to increase the organic material content of paddy fields. One of the main causes the farmer and racher groupprefer to burn and not using this rice straw, is the process of choping the straw that takes up time and man hour. Thepurpose of the implementation of this event, is to raise awareness of farmers in order to increase yield productivity infarmers and farmers, since it would be easier for livestock to digest the straw and thus becoming more nutritious feed;also that the finely chopped straw will also improve the quality of composting in bokashi fertilizer processing. Themethods used to achieve these objectives are: Demonstration and Training, both theoretical and practical on the subjectof: (1) the engineering techniques of straw chopper machines; (2) procedure of straw chop machine maintenance andsafety; (3) usefulness and method of making straw-based feed; (4) usefulness and method of making bokashi fertilizermade from straw, (5) training farmer?s mindset of organization management, production and marketing good. The resultshows that most traditional farmers and ranchers never heard or understood about the usage of straw in for livestock feedand bokashi fertilizer, thus the technology and machine introduction were so welcomed in positive manner
