Abstract

DOI: 10.17014/ijog.6.3.223-233We present a relatively straightforward methodology for extending seismic bandwidth and hence enhancing the seismic resolution by performing time-variant deconvolution. We use the generalized S-transform (GST) approach in order to properly compute the time-frequency components of the seismic reflection trace. In estimating the time-variant wavelet, we propose a spectral modeling method named multi-Ricker spectral approximation (MRA). After obtaining the estimated wavelet spectrum at each time sample, a deconvolution filter can then be built and applied in the S-transform domain. This proposed time-variant seismic enhancement method needs neither information on subsurface attenuation model nor assumption that the subsurface reflectivity is random. It is a data-driven methodology which is based on the seismic data only. We validate this proposed method on a synthetic and apply to a field data. Results show that, after enhancement, overall seismic bandwidth can be extended resulting in higher vertical resolution. Correlation with VSP corridor stack at well location ensures that the generated reflection details after enhancement is geologically plausible.

Abstract

In this paper, we use two terms to describe tourists, i.e. planned tourists and impromptu tourists. Planned tourists are tourists who intentionally travel. Meanwhile, impromptu tourists are those who accidentally become tourists because they are in a new area for an activity. Previously, tourists who were going to travel usually relied on the services of travel agents to get recommendations for tourist attractions, different from impromptu tourists this was not done before. Impromptu tourists sometimes do not have much time to carry out tourism activities so that impromptu tourists only visit the closest tourist attractions from their location. Lack of experience in a new area and only relying on information on the internet makes it difficult for tourists to find tourist attractions based on their preferences. One solution to this problem is that a system is needed that can recommend tourist attractions in terms of distance by considering tourist preferences. In this study, we developed a conversational recommender system (CRS) to obtain user preferences. For the method we use the Haversine Formula to calculate the distance. The results of this study are a web application that recommends tourist attractions and routes to several tourist attractions, which can be done at one time. Based on the evaluation of the time complexity in the route search, linear complexity is obtained which shows good performance with optimal conditions.

Andini A, Cahya A, Ningsih AO, Iqbal M, Sugiarti S, Fitrani M.  2021. Intensive system fish farming waste conversion to biogas household scale. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-9 Tahun 2021, Palembang  20 Oktober 2021. pp. 400-410.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Intensive system fish farming with high protein artificial feeding in a limited scope produces waste that can negatively impact if it is directly discharged to the waters. This study aimed to examine whether intensive fish farming waste can be converted into biogas, especially on a household scale, as an alternative in processing aquaculture waste. The method used by the researcher in the literature review method is due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, which limits researchers from taking data. The results of the literature study state that aquaculture waste has the potential for methanogenic bacteria as the main component of biogas with an anaerobic decomposition process. The content of nitrogen (N2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in aquaculture waste is also an additional component in biogas production. Household-scale biogas production was formed on day 4‒30 which consists of several processes such as hydrolysis, acetogenesis, acetogenesis, and methanogenesis. Biogas production results from fish farming waste can also be used as organic fertilizer for plants or agricultural land. Therefore, converting fish farming waste into biogas can be done as an effort to treat aquaculture waste. Suggestions from this research are necessary to re-examine directly in producing biogas to obtain more relevant data.

Abstract

Nowadays, traveling has become a routine activity for many people, so that many researchers have developed studies in the tourism domain, especially for the determination of tourist routes. Based on prior work, the problem of determining travel route is analogous to finding the solution for travelling salesman problem (TSP). However, the majority of works only dealt with generating the travel route within one day and also did not take into account several user’s preference criteria. This paper proposes a model for generating a travel route schedule within a few days, and considers some user needs criteria, so that the determination of a travel route can be considered as a multi-criteria issue. The travel route is generated based on several constraints, such as travel time limits per day, opening/closing hours and the average length of visit for each tourist destination. We use simulated annealing method to generate the optimum travel route. Based on evaluation result, the optimality of the travel route generated by the system is not significantly different with ant colony result. However, our model is far more superior in running time compared to Ant Colony method.
