Abstract

Islamic education based on the Qur'an and Hadith is the main foundation in educating Muslims. However, with the advancement of digital technology, it is important to explore how this educational model can adapt to the changing times, but on the other hand it also poses challenges and negative influences on human development. This research aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic education models based on the Qur'an and Hadith in the digital era. With a qualitative approach and a literature study, this study identifies ways in which technology can be applied to teach Islamic values without sacrificing the essence of religious teachings. The results of the study show that digital technology, when used wisely, can expand access to Islamic education and convey religious values in a more effective and efficient way, as well as relevant to the needs of the digital generation. In addition, the challenges and opportunities that arise in combining technology with religious teachings were also discussed, as well as the role of teaching the Qur'an and Hadith in the formation of character in accordance with Islamic guidance. It is hoped that this Islamic education model is not only relevant to the needs of the times, but also maintains the integrity of Islam in the face of global changes.

Abstract

Single Tuition Fee or UKT is a tuition fee borne by students every semester. Payment is made every time students enter a new semester while studying at tertiary institutions. One of the state universities in Indonesia that has implemented the UKT payment system is Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang. Based on observations, the purchase of UKT is still done manually, so it has the potential to produce decisions that are not on target. This study was classified based on the amount of single student tuition fees using the smote method and without smote. The algorithm used in classifying is SVM, Decision Tree, Random Forest. The data used is 985 UKT data in 2021. Based on experiments that have been carried out with the Random Forest algorithm, it has the best performance compared to the SVM and Decision Tree algorithms. The proportion of results obtained before being hit is accuracy of 84.75%, precision of 79.22%, recall of 81.15% and F1 score of 80.17%. Whereas after applying smote it increased with an accuracy proportion of 98.9%. So it can be interpreted that the best algorithm used in classification is the Random Forest algorithm by applying smote.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbots are computer programs designed to simulate human conversation and offer interactive, personalized learning experiences. This quantitative study investigated the effectiveness of an AI Chatbot (implemented using the website platform https://www.aichatting.net) in improving students' vocabulary mastery at SMP Negeri 01 Dapurang Pasangkayu, Indonesia. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, comparing an experimental class (8B, n = 25) that utilized the AI Chatbot with a control class (8B, n = 25) that employed a conventional teaching method. The intervention was conducted over six sessions across three weeks, from April 26 to May 19, 2025. Students completed pre-tests and post-tests to assess vocabulary mastery. The experimental class mean score increased from 31.60 to 76.00 (gain = 44.40; Cohen’s d = 4.71), while the control class improved from 32.00 to 46.00 (gain = 14.00; Cohen’s d = 1.43). An independent samples t-test on post-test scores revealed a statistically significant difference between the classes, t (48) = 12.42, p < .0001, with a 95% confidence interval of \ [25.27, 34.73]. These results confirm that the AI chatbot had a substantial impact on vocabulary mastery in practice. While the study supports the potential of AI chatbots as effective vocabulary-learning tools in junior high school settings, it also acknowledges the limitations of the quasi-experimental design and recommends further research using randomized controlled trials.

Abstract

This study examines the efficiency of 3D rendering methods in the development of Augmented Reality (AR) applications, which significantly impact visual quality, response speed, and device resource consumption. The main objective of this research is to analyze and compare three commonly used rendering methods in AR development: Standard Render Pipeline (SRP), Universal Render Pipeline (URP), and Light Estimation. Data collection was conducted through the implementation of an AR prototype application featuring two 3D objects (Earth and Mars), followed by testing the render latency for each method. The results showed that all three methods produced the same latency time of 0.03 seconds on a high-specification device. These findings suggest that, under the given testing conditions, the choice of rendering method has no significant impact on rendering latency. However, overall efficiency may still be influenced by other factors such as lighting conditions, hardware specifications, and marker quality.
