Abstract

Enhancing faculty qualifications is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of higher education. Academic portfolios serve as an essential instrument in faculty career development and qualification enhancement. However, many faculty members still face difficulties in developing effective academic portfolios. This community service project aims to improve the understanding and skills of faculty members at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Indragiri, in creating academic portfolios. The method employed is an intensive one-day training with a participatory and practical approach. The training covers an introduction to academic portfolio concepts, techniques for documenting academic activities, portfolio development strategies, and hands-on practice. The results of the training show a significant improvement in faculty members' understanding and ability to develop academic portfolios. This activity is expected to contribute to enhancing faculty qualifications and advancing their academic careers.

Abstract

Panglipuran Village, Bali, is one of the traditional tourism villages with significant potential to support the economic independence of local communities. However, community empowerment in this village faces various challenges, such as limited resources, a lack of community capacity in management, and dependence on external parties. This study aims to analyze community empowerment based on local participation through the management of the tourism village, using the community empowerment theory proposed by Jim Ife. The study emphasizes the importance of resource, opportunity, knowledge, and skill indicators in supporting the success of community empowerment. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The primary informants of the study include community leaders, local business actors, and tourism village managers. The findings reveal that empowerment through resource indicators has increased the income of craft businesses by 150%, from IDR 2 million to IDR 5 million per month. Furthermore, the opportunity indicator successfully opened avenues for the community to manage homestays, increasing income by up to 70% compared to previous levels. The knowledge and skill indicators also proved significant, with more than 90% of the community actively participating in training, which supports the sustainable economy of the tourism village. The conclusion of this study highlights that community empowerment based on local participation has a positive impact on the economic independence of the Panglipuran Village community. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of community empowerment elements with local wisdom values, such as mutual cooperation and cultural preservation. This model contributes not only to economic development but also serves as a best practice example in sustainable local participation-based tourism village management.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the financial performance of PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk, listed on the IDX, from 2019 to 2022 using liquidity ratios such as the Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), and Cash Ratio (CR). Employing quantitative methods, the study analyzed secondary data from the company's financial reports published by the IDX. The findings reveal that the company's financial condition is poor due to fluctuating and inconsistent performance each year. The highest current ratio was 105.8% in 2022, slightly above 105.4% in 2021, with the lowest at 89.7% in 2020, indicating a troubling decline. The quick ratio peaked at 66.3% in 2022 and hit a low of 53.5% in 2020, suggesting a reasonably good but inconsistent condition. The cash ratio reached a high of 26.8% in 2022 and a low of 12.5% in 2021, pointing to poor liquidity. Overall, the study shows that PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk does not exhibit strong or stable liquidity, as evidenced by the variations and declines in these ratios over the years.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengeksplorasi integrasi konsep pemberdayaan masyarakat dan ekowisata sebagai pendekatan inovatif dalam pengembangan desa wisata berkelanjutan. Masalah penelitian meliputi rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat, kurangnya pelestarian lingkungan, dan minimnya kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan. Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana integrasi kedua konsep tersebut dapat menjadi pendekatan inovatif dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Bukit Tawap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, dengan informan meliputi pembuat kebijakan, pelaksana kebijakan, dan penerima dampak kebijakan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekowisata telah meningkatkan pendapatan, rasa percaya diri, kohesi sosial, dan partisipasi politik masyarakat. Namun, tantangan seperti ketimpangan distribusi manfaat ekonomi, kurangnya motivasi masyarakat, dan keterbatasan akses informasi masih perlu diatasi. Saran penelitian mencakup peningkatan inklusivitas distribusi manfaat ekonomi, edukasi dan pelatihan masyarakat, serta transparansi dalam pengelolaan informasi dan sumber daya. Dengan mengatasi tantangan ini, Desa Wisata Bukit Tawap dapat menjadi model desa wisata berkelanjutan yang inovatif dan inklusif.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendahuluan: Perawat sebagai tenaga profesional yang turut membantu melakukan perawatan pada pasien Covid-19, memiliki tantangan besar yang harus dihadapi khususnya akibat perubahan psikologis dalam merawat pasien Covid-19. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan perawat membutuhkan manajemen stress yang baik, sehingga ia memiliki kesiapan lebih dalam melaksanakan tugas. Efikasi diri merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang dalam menghadapi masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan efikasi diri dengan kesiapan perawat dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan di Ruang Isolasi covid-19 RSD dr. Soebandi Kabupaten Jember. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional dengan metode cross sectional. Sebanyak 55 responden diperoleh dengan proposional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner efikasi diri dan kesiapan perawat. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Spearman Rank dengan tingkat signifikansi <0,05. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki efikasi diri tinggi yaitu 39 orang (70,9%) dan kesiapan baik yaitu 28 orang (50,9%). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan kesiapan perawat p=0,000. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi di era pandemi covid-19 untuk meningkatkan kesiapan perawat dalam menjalankan tugas khususnya di Ruang Isolasi. Abstract

This research for strategies to increase the income of Arabica coffee farmers in Central Aceh Regency uses SWOT analysis with the aim of the research being to determine the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) on the progress of coffee farmers in Central Aceh. Next, formulate an appropriate main alternative strategy (QSPM) for a strategy to increase the income of coffee farmers in Central Aceh. The sampling method used primary and secondary data, primary data was obtained through interviews and direct observation, while secondary data was obtained from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) Aceh, Central Aceh Province Agriculture and Plantation Service as well as journal literature and other reading sources. The research results show that the income strategy of Arabica farmers in Central Aceh Regency is located in quadrant I (Aggressive Strategy), namely using strength to take advantage of opportunities, with coordinates (1.8 : 2.0). Meanwhile, the results of the QSPM analysis show that the main alternative strategy is the use of quality seeds to maximize arabica production.Keywords: Aceh Tengah, Arabica Coffee, QSPM, SWOT

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of Quiver, an augmented reality (AR)-based media, in teaching the alphabet at the elementary school level. Technological innovation in education has opened various opportunities, including the use of interactive media such as Quiver, which enables the three-dimensional visualization of letters. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with early grade elementary school students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of learning activities involving the use of Quiver. The results indicate that the use of Quiver enhances students’ learning enthusiasm, facilitates the recognition of letter shapes and sounds, and creates a more interactive and engaging learning atmosphere. Moreover, teachers reported that the media supports the delivery of material effectively by integrating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic elements. This study recommends Quiver as an effective alternative media for teaching the alphabet, particularly at the elementary level. In the future, the development of similar media can be directed toward basic literacy and numeracy content.

Abstract

The Surabaya Family Learning Center (PUSPAGA) Program policy is under the auspices of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection as well as Population Control and Family Planning (DP3APPKB). This program aims to be a special place for Surabaya residents who want to overcome problems, both related to child delinquency and family problems. This research aims to describe and analyze the data as follows: 1) Assess the evaluation of the Family Learning Center (PUSPAGA) program in handling school dropouts in Wiyung Sub-district, Surabaya City; and 2) Assess the factors that support and hinder the Family Learning Center program in handling school dropouts in Wiyung Sub-district, Surabaya City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with evaluation indicators including effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and fixity according to William N. Dunn. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results showed that the policy evaluation of the PUSPAGA program in handling out-of-school children has been running well, but there are several aspects in the evaluation indicators that need to be improved which include several inhibiting factors such as: 1) The agency and the city government do not provide enough socialization to the community so that they are still unfamiliar with the presence of PUSPAGA itself; and 2) Parents' views on education, some of the education of parents whose children have dropped out of school are classified as low-educated parents.

Abstract

Education in primary schools aims not only to develop students' academic abilities, but also to shape their character and skills. One way to shape character is through extracurricular dance activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of extracurricular dance activities in developing students' skills in wiraga (movement), wirama (rhythm), and wirasa (expression) at SDN 2 Plawangan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study include the teacher-mentor as the coach and the students participating in the activity. The study indicates that through this extracurricular activity, positive contributions can be made to the development of the three aspects of dance skills.
