Abstract

Purpose: Preconception care (PCC) is fundamental to preparing for a healthy pregnancy by reducing risk factors. However, there are still various obstacles to its implementation. This review aims to identify risk factors and barriers to accessing and implementing PCC. Methods: The research design used a scoping review compiled from articles obtained from four databases: PubMed, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Web of Science. The inclusion criteria include original articles published between 2020 and 2025 that are fully accessible, written in English, and reports on PCC risk factors and barriers. Exclusion criteria include theoretical articles without practical applications, research related to specific medical conditions, and articles that are not relevant to the research objectives. The selection process was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR (2020) guidelines. Data from selected articles were extracted and synthesized narratively in accordance with the Update Methodological Guidance for the Conduct of Scoping Reviews (2020). Results: A total of 896 articles were found in the search. After screening, 14 articles were selected for analysis. These articles represented eight countries, including Ethiopia, the United States of America, and Australia. Low PCC knowledge, poor obstetric history, and maternal age were the most frequently discussed risk factors for PCC. Meanwhile, barriers to PCC implementation were attributed to the lack of PCC guidelines and service standards, low PCC education and promotion, and low motivation and knowledge of healthcare workers. Conclusion: The implementation of PCC remains hindered by policy limitations, system readiness, and health worker capacity, underscoring the need for further research as a basis for developing comprehensive guidelines.

Abstract

The application of information and communication technology (ICT) in public services provides significant opportunities for the development and advancement of rural areas. However, rural governments, as the frontliners in providing public services, face challenges due to a lack of human resources with skills and knowledge in ICT. Therefore, there is a need for continuous efforts to enhance the capacity of human resources through sustained community service activities. The objective of this Community Service Program (PKM) is to improve the quality of public services through the implementation of information and communication technology at the Palewai Village Office. The execution of this program is carried out through three stages of activities. The results of this community service effort include recommendations for using a website as a public information platform, harnessing ICT in public services, and allocating budget resources for infrastructure and facilities that support ICT implementation. This article is of great importance as a reference for carrying out community service activities, especially those related to enhancing the quality of public services through the utilization of ICT in rural governance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak Academic Self-Efficacy (keyakinan diri terhadap kemampuan akademik) dan Time Management (manajemen waktu) terhadap Academic Performance (kinerja akademik) mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena rendahnya kinerja akademik mahasiswa, yang diduga terkait dengan kurangnya keyakinan diri dan keterampilan mengelola waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Squares (PLS) melalui SmartPLS untuk menganalisis data. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, dengan sampel sebanyak 150 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik 10 x jumlah indikator. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert 5 poin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Time Management memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan terhadap Academic Performance (β = 0,698, p < 0,05) dibandingkan dengan Academic Self-Efficacy (β = 0,167, p < 0,05). Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan mengelola waktu secara efektif lebih berdampak besar pada peningkatan kinerja akademik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya program pelatihan manajemen waktu dan penguatan keyakinan diri mahasiswa melalui mentoring atau konseling akademik. Dengan demikian, institusi pendidikan dapat merancang strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja akademik mahasiswa melalui peningkatan kedua faktor tersebut.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting yang diharapkan memiliki kemampuan dan terampil dalam penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang berkembang sesuai zaman. Kurangnya pengalaman guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran dalam merancang media pembelajaran menjadi landasan terlaksananya workshop pembelajaran ini dengan tujuan dapat membantu serta memudahkan guru untuk berkreasi dalam merancang isi pembelajaran dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap pembelajaran. Penelitian terdiri dari dua tahap yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan yang mana pada tahap persiapan diawali dengan mencari sekolah mitra, narasumber, dan segala keperluan untuk keterlaksanaan workshop sedangkan tahap pelaksanaan yaitu segala rangkaian peroses pelaksanaan workshop mulai dari pemberian materi oleh narasumber sampai terkumpulnya LKPD yang dibuat oleh peserta workshop. Ada beberapa hasil dari pelaksanaan workshop ini yaitu peningkatan keterampilan guru-guru di SMA Negeri 8 Makassar dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AI dalam merancang pembelajaran, pengembangan konten edukasi berbasis AI, kolaborasi dan peningkatan pengalaman, sampai dengan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang berlangsung di dalam kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the effectiveness of the "Rembulan" baby massage service innovation at Lontar Health Center, Surabaya, in reducing stunting prevalence. This service enhances infant health and well-being through massage methods that support relaxation, optimal growth, and motor development. In the context of efforts to reduce stunting rates, the program focuses on infants and children under two years old who are at risk of malnutrition and growth delay. This research employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, field observations, and secondary data analysis. Respondents include healthcare workers, parents, and stakeholders directly involved in the baby massage service. The results indicate that the "Rembulan" baby massage program increases infants' nutritional intake by boosting appetite, optimizing digestion, and improving sleep quality. These benefits contribute to better growth and development, reducing the risk of stunting. The study concludes that baby massage innovation has significant potential as a non-pharmacological intervention in public health programs. This service is effective when integrated with nutrition education and continuous health monitoring. Proper implementation can make baby massage a comprehensive solution in government efforts to reduce stunting prevalence in Indonesia

Abstract

This research was conducted at Manufacturing companies in the Basic Industry and Chemical Sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period. This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital on Firm Value. The population of the research conducted by the researcher was 78 Manufacturing Companies in the Basic Industry and Chemical Sector with a sample of 12 companies with a period of 3 years with a total of 36 companies. Analysis of the data in this study used the classical assumption test and Simple Linear Regression Analysis as an analysis tool that was processed with IBM SPSS 23 Software. The results of the analysis proved that the Coefficient of Determination test (R²) obtained a result of 0.316 or 31.6%, this indicates that the variable (VAIC™) on the dependent variable Firm Value of 31.6%, while the remaining 69.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. From the results of the Simple Linear Test, the regression equation is obtained, namely: Y = (-530.964) + 259.169X. The results of the partial T-test study variable value added intellectual coefficient (VAIC™) (X₁) tcount 3.959>ttable (1.691), and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating that VAIC™ has a significant effect on firm value (Y). Significant Manufacturing Companies in the Basic Industry and Chemical Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder in toddlers who do not get enough nutritional intake so that children do not grow according to their age (Amania et al., 2022). Stunting toddlers are chronic nutritional problems caused by many factors such as socio-economic conditions, maternal nutrition during pregnancy, illness in babies and lack of nutritional intake in babies. This Community Service is located in Rugemuk Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The community invited to this activity according to the title of the activity are housewives, young women and men in Rugemuk Village with a total of 20 people. The method chosen is counseling and brainstorming, so that the community in Rugemuk Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency is healthy, there are no more children with stunting, children grow and develop according to their age. This activity is divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and monitoring stages. The stages that will be implemented are the preparation stage, the Activity Implementation stage and the Evaluation Stage. The implementation of the counseling went effectively.

Abstract

Permasalahan limbah plastik menjadi isu lingkungan yang mendesak, termasuk di Desa Genggelang, Kecamatan Gangga, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Meningkatnya konsumsi plastik berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan dan penurunan kualitas sumber daya alam. Salah satu solusi inovatif dalam pengelolaan limbah plastik adalah penerapan metode Ecobrick, yaitu teknik pemadatan limbah plastik nonbiologis ke dalam botol plastik untuk dijadikan bahan bangunan alternatif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah plastik dan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan Ecobrick. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi studi pendahuluan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan pendampingan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi warga, dengan 15 peserta aktif menghasilkan 20 Ecobrick yang kemudian dimanfaatkan menjadi furnitur ramah lingkungan. Program ini berdampak pada meningkatnya kesadaran ekologis masyarakat dan memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi melalui pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan. -- Plastic waste has become an urgent environmental issue, including in Genggelang Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency. The increasing consumption of plastic has led to environmental pollution and decreased natural resource quality. One innovative solution for managing plastic waste is the Ecobrick method, which involves compacting non-biodegradable plastics into bottles to create alternative building materials. This community service activity aimed to raise public awareness of plastic waste management and provide Ecobrick-making training. The implementation methods included preliminary studies, socialization, technical training, and community mentoring. The results showed increased participation among 15 participants who produced 20 Ecobricks, later used to create eco-friendly furniture. This program enhanced community ecological awareness and provided economic value through sustainable waste management.

Abstract

Effective and participatory public services are the key to realizing good governance, especially in the current era of digitalization. This article discusses recess service innovations through the eRO'TA (e-Recess By Us) application at the Makassar City DPRD, which is designed to improve access and transparency in the delivery of people's aspirations. This study aims to analyze the characteristics, implementation, and constraints of the application as a legislative digital innovation model. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis from 12 key informants. The results of the study show that eRO'TA meets four characteristics of innovation according to Robbins, namely peculiarity, elements of novelty, planned processes, and clear goals. This application has succeeded in increasing the efficiency and accountability of recess services through digital transformation. However, challenges in the form of technical disruptions, lack of socialization, and low digital literacy still hinder widespread adoption. These obstacles have implications for the lack of optimal aspiration databases as the basis for development planning. This study emphasizes that the success of digital innovation in the public sector requires technology integration, institutional readiness, and community empowerment as a prerequisite for participatory and adaptive governance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Sustainable Human Resource Management (HRM) and strengthening Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) on the effectiveness of community-based food management in Indragiri Hilir Regency, considering the mediating role of community participation levels and local government support. Using a quantitative approach using the PLS-SEM method, data were collected from 197 villages in 20 sub-districts through purposive sampling techniques, resulting in 197 respondents. The results showed that the strengthening of BUMDes had a significant effect on the effectiveness of food management (β=0.953; p<0.001) and the level of community participation (β=0.864; p<0.001). Sustainable HRM had a positive effect on community participation (β=0.073; p=0.001), but it was not significant on local government support (β=0.016; p=0.446). Community participation had a negative effect on the effectiveness of food management (β=–0.102; p=0.022), while local government support had no significant effect (β=0.063; p=0.451). The practical implications emphasize the importance of strengthening BUMDes and sustainable HRM practices in improving the effectiveness of food management. The limitations of this study include the geographical scope limited to one district and a quantitative approach that does not explore qualitative aspects. Further research is suggested to expand the study area and integrate qualitative approaches for a deeper understanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan BUMDes berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan pangan (β=0,953; p<0,001) dan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat (β=0,864; p<0,001). Sustainable HRM berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi masyarakat (β=0,073; p=0,001), namun tidak signifikan terhadap dukungan pemerintah daerah (β=0,016; p=0,446). Partisipasi masyarakat berpengaruh negatif terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan pangan (β=–0,102; p=0,022), sedangkan dukungan pemerintah daerah tidak berpengaruh signifikan (β=0,063; p=0,451). Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan BUMDes dan praktik HRM berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan pangan. Keterbatasan penelitian ini meliputi cakupan geografis yang terbatas pada satu kabupaten dan pendekatan kuantitatif yang tidak menggali aspek kualitatif. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas wilayah studi dan mengintegrasikan pendekatan kualitatif guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam.
