Abstract

Digital transformation has become a major driver in the development of education management systems in the modern era. This study aims to examine the role of information technology in improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of education management. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through a review of literature from various relevant recent studies. The study results indicate that the digitization of education management information systems (EMIS) contributes significantly to accelerating data management, strengthening data-driven decision-making, and improving administrative transparency. Technology also plays an important role in strengthening teacher competencies through the use of digital platforms and online learning systems. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, the digital divide, and data security issues remain serious obstacles to its implementation. Looking ahead, the use of cutting-edge technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) has great potential in shaping a more responsive and adaptive education management system. Therefore, a comprehensive and sustainable strategy is needed to support equitable and ethical digitalization of education management.Keywords: Information Technology, Education Management System, Education Digitalization

Abstract

Salah satu target kinerja utama BKKBN pada tahun 2019 adalah median usia perkawinan pertama (MUKP) sebesar 21 tahun. Data Survei Kinerja dan Akuntabilitas Program (SKAP) BKKBN tahun 2019 menunjukkan MUKP sebesar 19,2 tahun. Data BPS menunjukkan bahwa Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat mencatat usia perkawinan pertama pada tahun 2019 sebesar 20,21 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana beberapa faktor mempengaruhi usia perkawinan pertama di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Faktor-faktor yang diteliti adalah suku bangsa, status daerah, tingkat kesejahteraan, pendidikan, dan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder hasil SKAP tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 1292 responden sebagai sampel. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi logistik biner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap usia perkawinan pertama adalah suku bangsa, pendidikan, dan status kesejahteraan; dan 2) Keberagaman status daerah yang terbagi menjadi perkotaan dan pedesaan, serta lapangan pekerjaan, tidak mampu menjelaskan keberagaman usia perkawinan pertama. Pencapaian target MUKP 21 tahun memerlukan koordinasi dan kerja sama yang berkelanjutan antar berbagai pihak, seperti optimalisasi peran tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat, komunikasi dan koordinasi antar pemangku kepentingan, dari tingkat desa hingga provinsi, yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan terencana, dan terakhir, peningkatan pemahaman dan penerapan 8 fungsi keluarga dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan keluarga yang dilakukan secara terprogram. ABSTRACTOne of the main performance targets of the BKKBN in 2019 is the median age of first marriage (MUKP) of 21 years. Data from the 2019 BKKBN Program Performance and Accountability Survey (SKAP) shows the MUKP is 19.2 years. BPS data shows that West Nusa Tenggara Province recorded the age of first marriage in 2019 at 20.21 years. This study aimed at revealing how some factors effect the age of first marriage in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The factors studied are ethnicity, regional status, level of welfare, education, and employment. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach with secondary data from the 2019 SKAP results, totaling 1292 respondents as samples. The data analyzed using descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression analysis. The results shows that 1) Variables that have a significant effect on the age at first marriage are ethnicity, education, and welfare status; and 2) The diversity of regional status, which is divided into urban and rural areas, and employment are unable to explain the diversity at the age of first marriage. Achieving the 21-year MUKP target requires sustained coordination and cooperation among various parties, such as through optimizing the role of religious and community leaders, communication and coordination among stakeholders, from the village to the provincial level, which is carried out in a systematic and planned manner, and lastly, increasing understanding and application of the 8 family functions can be improved through family education which is carried out in a programmed manner.

Abstract

This article delves deep into the complex web of relationships between training, commitment, and performance among heads of private Tsanawiyah Madrasahs in the beautiful West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Using a quantitative approach reinforced by path analysis, the researchers uncovered the causal relationships that shape the madrasah leadership landscape. The study underwent rigorous validation by drawing insights from a carefully curated data set covering over 170 madrassa heads, meticulously collected through customized questionnaires. It emerged as a beacon of reliability and validity. Through the lens of descriptive and inferential statistics, the findings of this study not only highlight the transformative potential of training and commitment but also offer a roadmap for education policymakers and school principals across the country, thereby sparking a collective effort to achieve excellence in madrasa education. Although rooted in the local context of West Lombok Regency, the implications of this research have an impact far beyond the district's borders, marking a new era of educational innovation and progress. In essence, this study underscores the importance of disentangling the complex factors that shape the principal performance landscape to realize a brighter future for madrasa education nationally.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational commitment and self-confidence on the work accountability of elementary school principals in Jonggat sub-district, Central Lombok Regency, odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a survey research method involving causality studies. The researcher involved three variables originating from the same respondent who were answered simultaneously and simultaneously. The population in this study were all principals of state and private elementary schools in the Jonggat sub-district, Central Lombok, totaling 35. The sample choice for principals was public elementary schools and private elementary schools, which was carried out using purposive random sampling. This research examines one exogenous variable and one endogenous variable. Each variable is measured using a questionnaire technique which is arranged in the form of question items which are built based on the theoretical basis, dimensions and indicators of each variable. The hypothesis tested in this research is: the occurrence of a causal relationship between research variables X1, X2, X3. To test this hypothesis, path analysis was carried out. The research results are as follows: Hypothesis testing shows that there is a strong influence between the variables Organizational Commitment on Self-Confidence, which produces a correlation determinant coefficient of 0.875, which means that the contribution of Organizational Commitment to Self-Confidence is 87.5% and the remaining 12.5% ??is not included in the model . The path coefficient for Organizational Commitment on Self-Confidence is 0.936 and the p-value is 0.00 <0.05, which means that there is a very significant influence between Organizational Commitment (X1) on Self-Confidence (X2). Hypothesis testing shows that there is an influence between the variables Organizational Commitment (X1) and Self-Confidence (X2) on the Principal's Work Accountability (X3), which is indicated by the coefficient of determination value of 0.937. This figure illustrates that the contribution of Organizational Commitment (X1) and Self-Confidence (X2) to Principal Work Accountability (X3) is 93.7% while the remaining 6.3% is not included in the model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that all alternative hypotheses proposed can be significantly accepted. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan kepercayaan diri terhadap akuntabilitas kerja kepala sekolah SD se-kecamatan Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah semester gannjil tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey yang melibatkan studi kausalitas. peneliti melibatkan tiga variabel yang berasal dari satu responden yang sama yang dijawab secara serentak dan sekaligus. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Kepala Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri dan Swasta se-kecematan Jonggat Lombok Tengah yang berjumlah 35. Pilihan sampel Kepala Sekolah yaitu SD negeri dan SD Swasta yang dilakukan dengan purposive random sampling. Penelitian ini meneliti satu variabel exogenus dan satu variabel endogenus. Masing-masing variabel diukur dengan menggunakan teknik kuesioner yang disusun dalam bentuk butir-butir pertanyaan yang dibangun berdasarkan landasan teori, dimensi dan indikator masing-masing variabel. Hipotesis yang diuji dalam penelitian ini adalah: terjadinya hubungan kausal antar variabel penelitian X1, X2, X3. Untuk meguji hipotesis ini dilakukan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang kuat diantara variabel Komitmen Organisasi terhadap Percaya Diri, yang menghasilkan koefisien determinan korelasi sebesar 0,875 yang artinya kontribusi Komitmen Organisasi terhadap Percaya Diri sebesar 87,5% dan sisanya 12,5% tidak masuk dalam model. Koefisien jalur Komitmen Organisasi terhadap Percaya Diri 0,936 dan p-value 0.00 < 0.05 yang artinya bahwa ada pengaruh yang sangat signifikan antara Komitmen Organisasi (X1) terhadap Percaya Diri (X2). Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara variabel Komitmen Organisasi (X1) dan Percaya Diri (X2) terhadap Akuntabilitas Kerja Kepala Sekolah (X3), yang ditunjukan dengan nilai koefisen determinasi sebesar 0,937. Angka tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kontribusi Komitmen Organisasi (X1) dan Percaya Diri (X2) terhadap Akuntabilitas Kerja Kepala Sekolah (X3) sebesar 93,7% sedangkan sisanya 6,3% tidak termasuk dalam model. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh hipotesis alternatif yang diajukan dapat diterima secara signifikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to explore the roles and challenges faced by graduates of Educational Administration in managing educational institutions. The identified issues include the need for competent professionals in the field of educational management, as well as challenges in responding to changes in policy, curriculum, and technology. The method used is a literature study by collecting data from various academic sources, including books, journals, and relevant articles. The research stages in this article include collecting data through a literature review of 11 relevant academic articles, followed by descriptive qualitative analysis to identify the roles, opportunities, and challenges of educational administration graduates as professional education personnel in schools. The analysis emphasizes the validity and credibility of sources to produce in-depth understanding and strong theoretical contributions. The findings indicate that educational administration plays an important role in resource management and improving education quality, but graduates often face difficulties in applying theory to practice. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of continuous training and skill development for education personnel to improve the quality of education and ensure graduates are prepared to face challenges in the workforce. Therefore, Educational Administration graduates hold a strategic position in filling educational staff roles in schools, and they also face diverse opportunities and challenges, especially with the advancement of digital technology. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi peran dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan. Masalah yang diidentifikasi mencakup kebutuhan akan profesional yang kompeten di bidang manajemen pendidikan, serta tantangan dalam menghadapi perubahan kebijakan, kurikulum, dan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber akademis, termasuk buku, jurnal, dan artikel yang relevan. Tahapan penelitian dalam artikel ini meliputi pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dari 11 artikel akademik yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi peranan, peluang, dan tantangan sarjana administrasi pendidikan sebagai tenaga kependidikan profesional di sekolah. Analisis dilakukan dengan menekankan validitas dan kredibilitas sumber untuk menghasilkan pemahaman yang mendalam dan kontribusi teoritis yang kuat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pengelolaan sumber daya dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, namun lulusan ini sering kali menghadapi kesulitan dalam menerapkan teori ke dalam praktik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pengembangan keterampilan bagi tenaga kependidikan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan memastikan lulusan ini siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja. Jadi Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan memiliki posisi yang strategis dakam mengisi peluang tenaga kependidikan di sekolah, selain itu peluang dan tantangan di sarjana ini juga sangat beragam terutama dalam kemajuan teknologi digital.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effectiveness of school administration in remote areas from the perspective of efficient educational management. The main issue identified is that inefficient administrative methods can hinder the achievement of educational goals. The study highlights the challenges faced by schools in remote areas, such as a lack of teaching staff, inadequate facilities, and administrative responsibilities that are often borne by teachers. The method used in this research is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from various literature sources, such as books, articles, and relevant scientific journals, accessed through the Google Scholar platform over the past decade. The findings indicate that despite facing various challenges, some schools in remote areas can implement creative managerial strategies to improve their administrative performance. In this regard, it is important to note that effective school management is not merely a technical aspect but also a crucial factor that supports the overall success of achieving educational objectives. Without an efficient administrative system, the educational process will encounter various technical and managerial obstacles. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that effective educational management is a critical approach in building an efficient and sustainable school administration system. Appropriate and innovative strategies that combine modern management principles with local wisdom are needed to address these challenges. ABSTRAK Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas administrasi sekolah di daerah terpencil dari perspektif manajemen pendidikan yang efisien. Permasalahan utama yang teridentifikasi adalah metode administrasi yang tidak efisien dapat menghambat pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Studi ini menyoroti masalah yang dialami oleh sekolah-sekolah di daerah terpencil, seperti kekurangan tenaga pengajar, fasilitas yang tidak memadai, dan tanggung jawab administratif yang sering ditanggung oleh para guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber literatur, seperti buku, artikel, dan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan, yang diakses melalui platform Google Scholar dalam satu dekade terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun menghadapi berbagai tantangan, beberapa sekolah di daerah terpencil dapat mengimplementasikan strategi manajerial yang kreatif untuk meningkatkan kinerja administrasi mereka. Dalam hal ini, perlu dicatat bahwa manajemen sekolah yang efektif bukan hanya sekadar aspek teknis, tetapi juga merupakan faktor penting yang mendukung keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Tanpa adanya sistem administrasi yang efisien, proses pendidikan akan menemui berbagai kendala teknis dan manajerial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan bahwa manajemen pendidikan yang efektif adalah pendekatan krusial dalam membangun sistem administrasi sekolah yang efisien dan berkelanjutan. Diperlukan strategi yang sesuai dan inovatif yang menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen modern dengan kearifan lokal untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the Community Development Program of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Mandalika University (UNDIKMA) for the 2021/2022 term of service by using the Kirckpatrick Four Level evaluation model. The Community Development Program of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Mandalika Education University (UNDIKMA) in the form of the Community Development program was carried out in Dasan Agung Village, Selaparang District, Mataram City. This program focuses on education, such as a course for students called Smart School which is held every Sunday from 10.00 WITA to 12.00, and recitation for housewives every Tuesday at 13.00 WITA until 15.00 WITA. UNDIKMA students have several obstacles caused by the relocation of residents who take part in this program as a result of the Mataram City government's policy in regulating urban planning. The UNDIKMA Student Executive Board chose to provide consistency to continue the Community Development program by developing a new strategic plan with the aim of creating participant independence and enabling them to improve their standard of living. Program Community Development Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) dalam bentuk program Bina Lingkungan dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Dasan Agung Kecamatan Selaparang Kota Mataram. Program ini fokus pada bidang pendidikan, seperti kursus untuk siswa yang diberi nama Sekolah Cerdas yang diadakan setiap hari Minggu pukul 10.00 WITA hingga pukul 12.00, dan pengajian bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga pada setiap Selasa pukul 13.00 WITA hingga pukul 15.00 WITA Bina Lingkungan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa UNDIKMA memiliki beberapa kendala yang disebabkan oleh relokasi warga yang mengikuti program ini sebagai dampak dari kebijakan pemerintah Kota Mataram dalam mengatur tata kota. Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa UNDIKMA memilih untuk memberikan konsistensi untuk melanjutkan program Bina Lingkungan dengan menyusun rencana strategis baru dengan tujuan untuk menciptakan kemandirian peserta dan membuat mereka dapat meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka.Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Program, Community Development, BEM

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to obtain information about the effect of communication and teamwork through ethics on lecturers and employees (academic community) in the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Mandalika Education University for the period 2021/2022. This research was conducted on all lecturers and employees of the Mandalika Education University for the period 2021/2022 using a survey method with path analysis used in hypothesis testing. A sample of 35 lecturers and employees was selected using the Slovin formula. The results of the study conclude: (1) there is a direct effect of communication on ethics. (2) There is a direct effect of teamwork on ethics. (3) There is a direct effect of communication on teamwork. Therefore, to implement the ethics of lecturers and employees can be done by improving communication and teamwork. Keywords: Communication, Teamwork, Ethics Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pengaruh komunikasi dan kerjasama tim melalui etika pada dosen dan pegawai (civitas akdemika) di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika periode 2021/2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada seluruh dosen dan pegawai Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika periode 2021/2022 dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis jalur yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis. Sampel sebanyak 35dosen dan pegawai dipilih dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: (1) ada pengaruh langsung komunikasi terhadap etika. (2) Ada pengaruh langsung kerja sama tim terhadap etika. (3) Ada pengaruh langsung komunikasi terhadap kerja sama tim. Oleh karena itu untuk melaksanakan etika dosen dan pegawai dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan komunikasi, dan kerjasama tim.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi, Kerja Sama Tim, Etika

Abstract: This study aims to find out: 1) a description of student activity in the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) at SMPN 3 Mataram, 2) a description of student achievement at SMPN 3 Mataram, 3) the effect of activeness on the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) on student achievement at SMPN 3 Mataram. The research approach used is quantitative, with a sample of 69 students who are members of the Student Council. Data collection was carried out using documentation and questionnaire techniques. The collected research data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and simple regression, to test the research hypothesis. The results of the analysis show: 1) Based on the results of the correlation test, the value of r-count (0.036) > r-table (0.001) is obtained, which means that there is an insignificant relationship with a moderate level between the variables of student activity and learning achievement; 2) The resulting regression equation Y = 82.046 + 0.258 (X); 3) The effect of student activeness (X) on learning achievement (Y) is an insignificant effect, based on t-test = 0.297 with a significance level of 0.768; 4) The results of the F test show the value of F-count = 0.088 with a significant level of 0.768 which means that the prediction of student learning outcomes using student activity is not an accurate prediction; and 5) Based on the test of the coefficient of determination, the value of R = 0.036 can be interpreted that there is a large influence of student activeness on learning achievement which is 3.6%.Keywords: Student Activeness, Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS), Learning AchievementAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) gambaran keaktifan siswa pada Organisasi  Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) di SMP Negeri 3 Mataram, 2) gambaran prestasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Mataram, 3) pengaruh keaktifan pada Organisasi  Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Mataram. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif, dengan sampel 69 siswa yang merupakan anggota OSIS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Data penelitian yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan regresi sederhana, untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: 1) Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi, diperoleh nilai r-hitung (0,036) > r-tabel (0,001), yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang tidak signifikan dengan taraf sedang antara variabel keaktifan siswa dengan prestasi belajar; 2) Persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan Y = 82,046 + 0,258 (X); 3) Pengaruh Keaktifan Siswa (X) terhadap Prestasi Belajar (Y) merupakan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan, berdasarkan nilai t-hitung = 0,297 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,768; 4) Hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai F-hitung = 0,088 dengan taraf signifikan 0,768 yang berarti bahwa prediksi terhadap hasil belajar siswa menggunakan keaktifan siswa bukan merupakan prediksi yang akurat; dan 5) Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai R= 0,036 dapat diartikan adanya besar pengaruh variabel keaktifan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar adalah sebesar 3,6%.Kata Kunci: Keaktifan Siswa, Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS), Prestasi Belajar
