Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of ethnoscience-based teaching materials in science learning on the material of forces around us for fourth grade students of SDN 31 Cakranegara that is valid, practical, and feasible. This type of research uses the type of development research (R&D) with the Hannafin and Peck research model, which includes three main stages, namely student needs analysis, design, and development and implementation. This research was conducted at SDN 31 Cakranegara, Sandubaya sub-district, Mataram city, West Nusa Tenggara. The subjects of this study were 25 fourth grade students. The object of this study was ethnoscience-based teaching materials on the subject of science on the material of forces around us. The data collection instruments used in this study were material validation questionnaire sheets, media validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that ethnoscience-based teaching materials obtained a percentage value of 93.63% with a very valid category by material experts and obtained a percentage value of 96.47% with a very valid category by media experts. In the practicality test by the teacher, the percentage value obtained was 96.92% with a very practical category and the practicality test by the students obtained a percentage value of 99.50% with a very practical category. Thus, it can be concluded that the overall total obtained a percentage value of 96.20% with a very feasible category. Therefore, based on the results of the study, this ethnoscience-based teaching material is very valid, practical, and feasible to be used in the science learning process of the material on the forces around us in class IV of SDN 31 Cakranegara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran IPA berbantuan komik terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV SDN 37 Cakranegara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi experimental tipe nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan observasi. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji independen sampel t-test dan uji prasyarat yang harus dipenuhi yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil uji independen sampel t-test diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,036 > 2,024 dan nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,004 < 0,05 yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak dengan nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,960. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran IPA berbantuan komik terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 37 Cakranegara dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop comic media for the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for material on ecosystems for grade V students at SDN 27 Cakranegara. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Hannafin and Peck model approach which includes needs analysis, design, and development and implementation. This study involved all grade V students at SDN 27 Cakranegara, consisting of 35 students and 1 teacher. The results of this study are IPAS comic media containing material on the interaction of biotic and abiotic ecosystems. Based on validation by media experts, this comic obtained an average feasibility percentage of 90.7% and from validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 90%. In addition, the results of small and large scale trials, involving teacher and student responses, indicate that this comic media is included in the very feasible category.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the validity and practicality of interactive PowerPoint media. This research is R&D (Research and Development) research. The research model used is ADDIE with five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection instruments used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data collection uses validity and practicality analysis. The validation results from material of experts received a value of 87%. The validation results from media experts received a value of 90% with a validity category. In the results of the student response, students got a value of 93.58%, while the results of the teacher's response got a score of 100% in the practicality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Web Google Sites berbasis etnosains pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SDN Loang Maka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian Research & Development (R&D) dengan model Hannafin & Peck melalui tahapan; a) analisis, b) desain, c) pengembangan dan implementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil uji validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 78,46% dengan kategori valid, hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 94,28% dengan kategori sangat valid, hasil respon peserta didik memperoleh nilai sebesar 90,67% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan hasil respon guru memperoleh nilai sebesar 97,14% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpilkan bahwa media pembelajaran Web Google Sites berbasis etnosains dinyatakan sangat layak dan sangat praktis diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to ascertain how well science comic media application affects fourth-grade elementary school students' science learning results. This kind of study uses a nonequivalent control group design and is quantitative in nature, with a quasi-experimental design. Students in grade IV at SDN 37 Cakranegara served as the study's subjects. Saturated sampling, a non-probability sampling approach, was the method employed. The independent sample t test was employed as the hypothesis test, and the normality and homogeneity tests were prerequisites that had to be satisfied. With an effect size value of 1.005, the independent sample t-test findings showed that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected with a t count> t table value of 3.179> 2.024 and a sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, specifically 0.003 <0.05. The use of science comic media to the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 37 Cakranegara has been found to be successful, according to the study's findings.

Abstract

The ability to develop interactive student worksheets is a competency that educators really need to support the learning process in the classroom. To improve teacher competence, it is necessary to conduct training in using free websites to develop interactive e-LKPD. One of the website platforms that can be used by teachers is the wizer me website. The platform is easy to use and the features provided in preparing the e-LKPD are very complete. The method of implementing community service is carried out in several stages, namely: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The target of this service is SDN 26 Mataram teachers, totaling 14 teachers. The results of this service can be said to be successful, seen from the teacher's enthusiasm in the practice of making interactive e-LKPD with materials prepared by the service team. Besides that, the teacher's enthusiasm in this training can be seen from the increase in the teacher's test results on the ability to understand the material delivered by the service team. The types of questions practiced by the teacher in making e-LKPD using the wizer me website are multiple choice, short entries, descriptions, matching, searching for words, sorting, labeling pictures. Therefore, by increasing teacher competence in compiling interactive e-LKPD, it is hoped that teachers can develop more fully using the teacher's own materials and ideas according to the needs and characteristics of students.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi membaca siswa di Indonesia, yang tercermin dari hasil PISA yang stagnan, mendorong kebutuhan akan inovasi media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan (validity dan practicality), serta efektivitas media E-Comic Audio Visual (AV) yang mengangkat kearifan lokal Cerita Rakyat Sasak “Batu Golog” untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model uji coba pretest-posttest control group design. Validitas produk diukur melalui angket validator ahli, kepraktisan diukur melalui angket respons guru dan siswa, dan efektivitas diukur menggunakan Independent Samples t-Test pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di Gugus VI Kecamatan Cakranegara. Produk E-Comic AV dinilai Sangat Valid oleh validator dan Sangat Praktis bagi guru dan siswa. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Uji-t menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) dengan Mean Difference 10,79, yang berarti hipotesis nol ditolak. Media E-Comic AV berbasis Cerita Rakyat Sasak “Batu Golog” terbukti efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Efektivitas ini didukung oleh integrasi audio-visual (Teori Kognitif Multimedia) dan relevansi konten budaya lokal yang berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Advancements in technology necessitate that teachers engage in continuous innovation to develop interactive and engaging learning media. However, SDN 16 Cakranegara has encountered challenges in producing learning media in the form of PowerPoint presentations. These difficulties stem primarily from the limited dissemination of knowledge and inadequate training related to the development of PowerPoint-based instructional media. Consequently, this situation poses a significant challenge in enhancing teachers’ competencies in utilizing technology as an effective instructional tool. The purpose of this training program is to support teachers in designing digital learning media entitled Animals Education, developed through PowerPoint, with the aim of fostering students’ interest in learning and enriching their overall learning experiences. Specifically, the objectives of the training are to: (1) equip teachers with technical skills in employing PowerPoint to design interactive instructional media; (2) encourage creativity among teachers in developing innovative pedagogical practices aligned with students’ learning needs; and (3) enhance the quality of instruction through the integration of relevant and engaging digital media.The implementation process consists of several stages, namely dissemination, training, technology application, mentoring, evaluation, and sustainability efforts. It is anticipated that this program will strengthen teachers’ capacity to create more innovative, engaging, and contextually relevant learning experiences in the era of digitalization.The expected output of this community engagement activity is a scholarly article published in an ISSN-accredited journal, Wartadesa (https://jwd.unram.ac.id/index.php/jwd). Additionally, the training is expected to produce a tangible product in the form of digital learning media developed using PowerPoint.

Abstract

Numeracy is a skill needed in the 21st century. Numeracy skills are also the focus of the Independent Curriculum. One thing that can be used as an alternative for developing student numeracy is differentiated learning. In differentiated learning, there is differentiation of content, process, and product models. Therefore, this research aims to determine the differentiation of content, processes, and products oriented toward developing numeracy skills at SDN 1 Sapit, West Lombok. This research approach is qualitative with a phenomenological type. This research also involved one grade 1 teacher and six students as subjects. Data was collected through observation and interviews. The results of this research indicate that differences in students' ability levels determine differences in content, processes, and products in the learning process. Apart from that, the differences in methods also determine the guidance teachers can provide to facilitate students' diverse abilities.
