Abstract

This study aims to describe students' learning difficulties in solving math problems for MI/SD based on Polya's problem-solving stages. This research is included in the case study research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 2 students of the PGMI study program who had studied Mathematics for MI/SD. The data collection methods in this study were tests and interviews, while the data analysis was done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by RSD and SAT were broadly similar, including: (1) difficulty in understanding the problem, such as being unable to understand the problem from the question, unable to determine the appropriate symbol with the information known from the question, incomplete in writing down the information contained in the questions, and still lacking in understanding the concept; (2) difficulty in planning problem solving, such as being unable to determine symbols and mathematical concepts or formulas; (3) difficulty in implementing the problem-solving plan, such as not sure about the concept or formula used, and difficulty in doing the exercises without looking at the example; (4) difficulty in re-examining the solution obtained, namely not knowing how to re-examine correctly.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the diversity of species, growth rate and production of seagrass in the waters of Bontosua Island, Liukang Tuppabiring District, Pangkep Regency. While the specific target to be achieved is to obtain a picture of the condition of seagrass vegetation and the growth rate and production of seagrass Cymodocea rotundata in the waters of Bontosua Island, Liukang Tuppabiring District, Pangkep Regency. The method that will be used in this study is the identification of seagrass species, the method of measuring seagrass growth by marking. As supporting data, water quality measurements are carried out as a limiting factor for seagrass growth. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively, which are arranged in the form of tables or graphs. The results obtained 9 (seven) species namely Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata, Cymodocea serrulata, Halophila ovalis, Halophila minor, Halodule uninervis, Halodule pinifolia and Syringodium isoetifolium. The average growth rate of C. rotundata is 8.01 mm/leaf/day while the average seagrass production is 0.047 grbk/m2/day. The physical and chemical parameters of the waters still support the growth of seagrass.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of work-life balance and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Postgraduate Program of UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research employs a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto method. The study's respondents consist of 32 employees, determined using a saturated sample technique. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire distributed to all respondents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that work-life balance has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction, although its influence is smaller compared to work motivation, which has been proven to have a stronger impact. The findings also show that work-life balance and work motivation simultaneously have a positive effect on employee job satisfaction at the Postgraduate Program of UIN Alauddin Makassar, even though job satisfaction itself is a multidimensional phenomenon influenced by many factors. Therefore, organizational strategies to enhance job satisfaction should adopt a holistic approach that considers work-life balance, motivational drives, and other supporting factors.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penyakit Ginjal Kronik (PGK) merupakan suatu kondisi yang ditandai dengan gangguan struktur dan fungsi ginjal yang berlangsung lama, minimal selama 3 bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik demografi (umur dan jenis kelamin), hasil pemeriksaan kimia darah, stadium penyakit, hasil pemeriksaan darah lengkap, hasil pemeriksaan elektrolit, komplikasi, dan strategi penatalaksanaan pasien PGK di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda. . Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif observasional dengan metode cross-sectional. Rekam medis digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Pengambilan sampel pasien CKD dilakukan dengan pendekatan purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh total 100 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kelompok usia dengan representasi tertinggi pada pasien CKD adalah 50-59 tahun (31%). Mayoritas pasien adalah laki-laki (54%). Hipertensi merupakan riwayat kesehatan yang paling umum (56%). Analisis kimia darah menunjukkan peningkatan kadar ureum dan kreatinin pada semua pasien. Mayoritas pasien diklasifikasikan pada stadium G5 (85%). Temuan tes darah komprehensif menunjukkan penurunan kadar sel darah merah, hemoglobin, dan hematokrit pada semua pasien. Volume sel rata-rata (MCV) yang paling umum ditemukan adalah normositik (76%). Terjadi peningkatan kadar neutrofil tertinggi (71%), sedangkan kadar limfosit tertinggi mengalami penurunan (70%). Temuan tes elektrolit menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pasien mengalami penurunan kadar natrium (60%), namun kadar kalium dan klorida sebagian besar berada dalam kisaran normal (masing-masing 70% dan 45%). Anemia terbukti menjadi konsekuensi paling umum pada pasien CKD, mempengaruhi 98% pasien. Dialisis diidentifikasi sebagai pendekatan pengobatan utama untuk 87% pasien CKD. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik individu dengan CKD dapat dilihat berdasarkan beberapa parameter. Memahami karakteristik ini sangat penting untuk mengurangi risiko komplikasi tambahan. Kata Kunci: Penyakit Ginjal Kronik, Laju Filtrasi Glomerulus, Anemia

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the reasons why PGSD students at Cokroaminoto Palopo University choose e-commerce as a place to shop, the shopping process, and the impact of online shopping on e-commerce. This research uses qualitative research methods with a virtual ethnographic approach. The technique for determining informants was carried out purposively. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses consumer culture theory by Celia Lury. The results of the research show that the reason why PGSD students at Cokroaminoto Palopo University choose e-commerce as a place to shop is because of several things, namely getting convenience and practicality when shopping, providing free shipping services, discount promos, more affordable prices, easy payment processes, getting goods that not available in Palopo City, and you don't have to leave the house to get the goods. The shopping process in e-commerce begins with paying attention to reviews related to the desired item, then selecting the item or shop, selecting the delivery option, selecting the payment option, and the final process of ordering the item. Shopping on e-commerce has positive and negative impacts on students. The positive impact is that it provides convenience and practicality for PGSD students at Cokroaminoto Palopo University, while the negative impact is that it forms continuous shopping behavior and gives birth to sign consumption behavior (non-utilitarian) or shopping not because of need but because of desire.

Abstract

Early Marriage Events and the Impact of Childcare Patterns in Baito Village and Mekar Jaya Village in Baito District, South Konawe Regency. This study aims to find out and describe the reasons for early marriage in adolescents and the impact of childcare after early marriage in Baito Village and Mekar Jaya Village, Baito District, South Konawe Regency. This research uses the Levi-Straus structural theory, which is an ethnographic study of the ways in which the human intellect works. This theory is closely related to the human mindset in educating children. The results of the study can be concluded that 1) the reasons for early marriage are: a) weak parental control supervision, namely being allowed to date unsupervised so that the child goes overboard; b) promiscuity, resulting in easy fall into negative things such as free sex, drunkenness, and dropping out of school; c) the use of mobile phones, the opening of access to information from various parts of the world allows adolescents to easily receive and access various kinds of information including pornography; d) economic influence and cultural influence, the researcher saw that in Baito Village and Mekar Jaya Village, many teenagers who got married at an early age due to their parents' low economy so that by marrying their children, the burden of living costs was also reduced, besides that there were also parents who followed the hereditary culture, namely matching their children. 2) The impact of childcare after early marriage is the transfer of childcare roles from parents to grandmothers, who are prone to divorce because they cannot control their emotions and children receive less attention

Abstract

The Lion Air JT-610 plane crash on October 29 2018 killed all passengers and caused significant losses, both material and immaterial. This tragedy raises questions about the legal responsibility of Boeing, the aircraft manufacturer, particularly from an international law perspective. This study aims to analyze the possibility of Boeing's liability under the 1999 Montreal Convention, which serves as the primary instrument in regulating the liability of air carriers toward passengers and cargo. This study employs a normative legal method with a descriptive-analytical approach, using legal liability theory and justice theory as the basis for analysis. The results of the study show that the 1999 Montreal Convention only regulates liability between airlines (air carriers) and passengers, not between passengers and third parties such as aircraft manufacturers. In this context, Lion Air is responsible for providing initial compensation of 113,100 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) to the heirs of each passenger. However, under Article 37 of the Convention, Lion Air may seek liability from third parties, including Boeing, if it is proven that there were manufacturing defects or negligence contributing to the accident. Thus, although Boeing does not have direct liability toward passengers, indirect liability may arise through recourse by the airline. This opens an international legal avenue against manufacturers in cases of aviation accidents

Abstract

The phenomena of violence, terrorism, and interreligious conflict evolving some of  hard line muslims (radical) reveals critical question whether Islam is a real religion that is rah}matan lil‘a>lami>n. The flowing of hesitation of International society, the propaganda of mass media, and the tendentious accusation is pointed to Islam and muslims. To respond it, it is needed to read a new reading for Islam and to delve into its sources of  teachings in the view of  modest mysticism, smooth, love of peace, and anti-violence.

Abstract

This article focuses on answering questions on the application of the principles of enforcement of Shari’a Qanun in Aceh,  its position and its implications for non-Muslim minorities in the Shari’a Qanun. Based on indepth reviews of various laws and regulations, local regulations of Shari’a-Qanuns,  and other relevant  literatures,  the author found that the Shari’a Qanuns imposed Islamic law in Aceh adhere to the principles of quasi personality. On one side, the Qanun is only valid for every Muslim who is in Aceh (the principles of personality), but on the other hand this also applies to any person resides in the territory of Aceh (the principle of territoriality), including those of non-Muslim minorities; in particular if they do offenses not provided in the book  of penal law or in other regulations outside the book  of penal law, such as seclusion (khalwat) and ikhtilat. Implementation of such Qanun thus potentially gives raise intolerance to human rights violations (Human Rights), as opposed to the 1945 Constitution which guarantees every citizen to profess and practice their believe and religion. The solution might be that the formulation  of the Qanuns and its implementation in Aceh need to take several steps and considerations, including identification of a common platform that upholds the moral conception of  justice, humanity and welfare.

Abstract

Banking in Aceh, one of the provinces in Indonesia, has a unique system known as the single banking system. This article aims to explore the emergence, growth, and prospects of this system in Aceh. The research was conducted using primary and secondary data sources. Primary data was obtained through interviews with experts consisting of academics, bankers, and Islamic banking observers in Aceh. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from published and unpublished documents. The research results reveal that the Qanun for Sharia Financial Institutions introduced a single window system in Aceh in 2018. However, the implementation of this system faces significant challenges due to the lack of banking infrastructure and human resources. Despite its potential benefits, the prospects for a single banking system remain uncertain as it could lead to a monopoly of banking services, given the limited banking services currently available. Nevertheless, the single banking system has the potential to increase efficiency and simplify processes, making banking services more accessible and convenient for customers in Aceh.
