Abstract

AIM Research developed a theoretical model of the Fendona® 30 EC Curtain based on intervention. The model was developed to enhance understanding of the community's abundance control program. The model analyzes of the variables historical and knowledge of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), the perception of mosquito disorders, the use of mosquito control and medication, the perception of abundance of mosquitoes, the motivation to use curtains, the expected benefits of curtains, the prospects and recommendations of curtains as a mosquito control device. Method Materials: White curtain fabric for window curtain and inter-room bulkhead, black curtain fabric for jar cover, jar filled with plain water, 20cm high, 20cm in diameter, Fendona® 30 EC and clean water Procedures: The curtain is soaked for 24 hours in a liquid of Fendona® 30 EC + water in a ratio of 1: 1; The curtains are dried in a shaded environment for 24 hours, or until the curtains are completely dry. Trials: In-room experimental results show Fendona® 30 EC Curtain effectively prevents mosquitoes from entering the room and kills mosquitoes in the room. Interventions: Curtains installed in the window and as an inter-room divider; The curtain of the jar cover is placed in various corners of the room and under the bed; Each house receives 5 window curtains, 2 curtains screens between rooms and 5 jar cover curtain. Research design: Research uses quasi-experimental design and correlational research surveys. Research data obtained through questionnaires, tests, and check-lists. Research data were analyzed using Regression Path Analysis. Research results Mosquito control programs in the community are difficult to understand. The Fendona® 30 EC curtain, although effective, does not shift the popularity of the mosquito repellent lotion, mosquito spray and mosquito coil. The history of DHF only predicts the perception of mosquito disorders. The perception of a decrease in mosquito abundance can only be predicted from the use of mosquito controls and medicines. Motivation of the use of curtains only predicts the expected benefits of curtains. Recommendations can only be predicted through prospects. Regression paths between variables are separate. Apart from these variables, there is no relationship in the rest of the regression path.

Abstract

Background. Groundwater is the main source of drinking water in many countries around the world. It is an essential source of water for domestic, industrial and agricultural activities. In this research, groundwater was collected from Manduro village, Kabuh district, Jombang city. Iron sometimes referred to as “fly in the ointment” has been one of the most troublesome domestic water contaminants. Various quantities of iron are often present in water because of large amounts of iron present in the soil and because corrosive water will pick up iron from pipes clothing washed in water containing excessive iron may become stained with a brownish colour. Iron deposits may build up in tanks, water heater and pipelines reducing the quantity and quality of water. Iron can be present in several forms, and each form can potentially require a different method of removal. The study aims to develop a cheap and easy technology to reduce the presence of excess iron in groundwater. Methods. The iron removal system is developed by slow sand filter and selecting coconut husk fibre as the substrate material of filter media. The filter media made from coconut husk fibre 15 cm, plain sand 15 cm, coconut husk fibre 20 cm, plain sand 20 cm, charcoal 15 cm, grave 10 cm and mineral stones 15 cm. The developed technique seemed to be very effective in reducing the iron concentration below 0.3 ppm as required Permenkes RI No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. Result. The research result show that filter media could reduce iron content. The efficiency of the filter media in reduce of iron content is about 71 - 96%. Conclusions. Media filter is effective for reduce iron content in groundwater up to 96% and has fulfilled Permenkes RI No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 Implication. This method can be applied to people who has the same problem. We can counseling how about made filter media to reduce iron content.

Abstract

The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia in 2015 was 305 out of 100,000 live births according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes). Based on data from the Ministry of Health's Center for Health and Information (2014), the main causes of maternal mortality from 2010-2013 were bleeding (30.3% in 2013) and hypertension (27.1% in 2013). Postpartum hemorrhage is bleeding that occurs after delivery (delivery), as much as 500 ml in vaginal delivery or more than 1000 ml in cesarean section. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the one-hand technique in reducing the amount of bleeding compared to the two-hand technique that has been used in third-stage active management. This study is an experimental quantitative study to compare the one-hand technique in third-stage active management versus the two-hand technique. The population was taken from all pregnant women who gave birth in the delivery room of KRI Maulidya Husada within three months. The number of samples in this study were 36 people, namely: 18 people using the one-hand technique that met the inclusion criteria and 18 people using the two hand technique who met the inclusion criteria. In this study, it is known that almost all respondents with spontaneous labor who were given the one-hand technique experienced bleeding less than 250cc, namely 61% and the two-hand technique treatment experienced bleeding more than 250cc, namely 39%

Abstract

Based on the rules from the government contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 2019, the Public Health Center information system can be implemented electronically so that the data obtained can be stored safely. An electronic health center information system must have an application, an internet, and a local network (LAN). This can also support Health Promotion activities through electronic media and online reporting to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. This research aims to apply innovative health education to the problem of low Tuberculosis patient visits. This is done by analyzing a fishbone diagram and determining priority solutions to problems that have resulted in no real follow-up plans (RTL) so that targets have not been met and there has been no evaluation action at the Parongpong Health Center. This activity is carried out in several stages, namely 1) problem analysis with fishbone, 2) USG (urgency, seriousness, growth), and 3) SWOT analysis. Furthermore, counseling was carried out to all people in the Parongpong sub-district. The results obtained from calculating the score using the SWOT analysis are to make regulations on procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP) for the use of the Tuberculosis Information System (SITB) to optimize health information management at the Parongpong Health Center, West Bandung Regency, Indonesia.
